Maybe make his default name Scotty the Body so when he is unemployed it will show as that instead of raven

I might change him to Scott Levy if anything. For those who play a long term game I'd hate to see his name stay Scotty the Body.

I do have his alter egos setup correctly though in the build I'm looking at right now.

He signs with any promotion in the world he will be Scotty the Body until about 1996. If he signs with ECW at any point however, he will sign as Raven almost assuredly. If he signs with WCW he has a strong change to be Scotty Flamingo. If not he will be the Body. The WWF it is either Polo or the Body. All of those stop in 1996 and anywhere he signs it would be under his default name of Raven.

That doesn't work?

I am considering deleting guys like Finkel, Cappetta, etc. from the mod entirely. Any feedback?

My reasoning is that they literally have no roles in this game, but having them in the game world can mess up pushes in promotions that they work in. They get hired as announcers instead of others or they bump other people into different pushes when they are on your roster.

I haven't actually tried the mod yet, but in every RW mod I use I now delete Howard Finkel before I begin a new game. He serves absolutely no purpose whatsoever, and he usually gets given poor stats (e.g. D announcing) and low popularity so even if you wanted to have him introduce a match in an angle it would grade terribly.

Someone like Lilian Garcia is probably worthwhile keeping in as she did backstage interviews as well as ring announcing, but the game isn't really designed to make use of people like Finkel who doing nothing else.

<p>Excited for the next release. Added some companies. Simming is slower (not terrible by any stretch) but the game world works much better now with all the American workers getting actual jobs. </p><p> </p><p>

Of course, if anyone finds it running too slow they can delete some promotions to speed it up, or turn off Australia like I do when I play. (I usually turn off Australia and Europe so my house shows won't go there)</p>

<p>Couple of things I noticed in WWF</p><p> </p><p>

In 1991 Haku should not be "King Haku". Haku was teaming with the Barbarian at this time as the Heenan Family. He lost that title to Jim Duggan in I believe 1989. Randy Savage should be "Macho King" at this time as he used his scepter to knock out the Warrior at the rumble. </p><p> </p><p>

Jimmy Hart should be in the WWF and managing the Nasty Boys, Earthquake, and Dino Bravo.</p><p> </p><p>

Overall this is a great mod and am having a lot fun with it. Great Job!</p>

Just noticed something pretty wrong based soley on the fact that they were in one of the featured matches at the 91 Royal Rumble Dusty and Dustin Rhodes should both be under contract to the WWF since they both left shortly after the Rumble id probably only have one month left on their contract allowing WCW to poach if they want.

This is actually not pretty wrong.

WCW had already signed Dusty and Dustin Rhodes at this point. They advertised Dusty's return as a color commentator the entire month. (His new contract with WCW specifically said he couldn't wrestle) They finished their dates with the WWF and then went to WCW.

There was no way to properly put this in the database to start. If WWF has them under contract they will keep them and the WWF pushes Dusty Rhodes.

You know what threw me off on this? He did dates for Tenryu's SWS in 1991 and used the King Haku name there. I'll fix this for Haku. On Savage, should his name be Macho King? I don't have him as Macho Man Randy Savage, just Randy Savage. Are you saying it should be Macho King or Macho King Randy Savage?

Edit: The problem with naming him Macho King is that the WWF will never change it. Literally, never. So every match he ever works for them will be as Macho King.

Jimmy Hart should be in the WWF and managing the Nasty Boys, Earthquake, and Dino Bravo.

Yep, already fixed.

Overall this is a great mod and am having a lot fun with it. Great Job!

Thanks!

I would probably just leave him as the only real difference to his character was to wear a crown and carry a scepter. Either way would work I guess.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this also around the time he started transitioning from his Macho King gimmick back to an updated Macho Man gimmick(cowboy hat, jacket, long pants), and he was pretty much just Macho King in name only?(save for smashing Warrior in the head with the scepter) So it could be a moot point by this time anywho, but I do like that suggestion of it being an alter ego. I usually just put in "Macho Man" Randy Savage as his name before starting up a game anyway. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

He started transitioning to the updated gimmick after being "retired" by the ultimate warrior at Wrestlemania. Like I said, I don't remember being much difference in Savage's regular heel gimmick and the Macho King gimmick. It may not even be worth addressing. The main reason I pointed it out was to show Haku wasn't using the King gimmick at the time. But you're right Matt, he didn't use this gimmick after his face turn at wrestlemania.

You are right. He didn't leave until after Wrestlemania. I'll fix that.

And WrestleMania IX at that. After all, it was the fall of 1991 that we were first treated to "El Matador" Tito Santana. :D He was still around till at least May or June 1993 as he lost a King of the Ring qualifying match to Scott Hall(Razor Ramon) on Superstars in May of that year.

Only thing I really need input on:

Event Names for WCW and WWF.

Should I go ahead and just give them the events they would eventually use? Otherwise the game will assign them events from the random event name file and you'll see WWF Proving Ground.
