Oops! Oh well - moral of the story is, no, sadly it isn't Slaughter. But that woulda been awesome. And yeah, after seeing Martel do well with improvising, and with him being a very fine talent who isn't on decline, I'm almost reconsidering a few plans I had for Martel. I did sign him with the intent of a small push, but he could have a bigger role than was at first yet to come!</p>

WCW Television - February Week 4, 1995

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWSaturdayNight.png

WCW Saturday Night

4th Week of February 1995

Held at: Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater, Oklahoma (Mid-South)

Attendance: 13,611 (sold out!)

Rating: B+

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/TonySchiavone.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/BobbyHeenan2.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/JesseVentura.jpg

“Twenty-Four Hours”

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/Sting2.jpg

We open the show cold, going straight to the ring as Sting stands by with a new guest – returning ring announcer/occasional interviewer Gary Michael Cappetta!

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/gmc.jpg

Sting welcomes Cappetta back to WCW officially, before saying that he hopes Gary will have delight when he announces “The Stinger” as the new United States champion tomorrow night at SuperBrawl! He talks about how Austin has been running off at the mouth and the fingers as of late, but in twenty four hours, it’s time to put up or shut up; and no man in WCW or any other wrestling organization in the world can put up quite like Sting!

Rating: C

Notes: Yes, I brought in GMC. I have a reason. His gimmick is Staff Member (Realistic), which rated 88.

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/TomPrichard.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/vs.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/JPL.jpg

“Doctor of Desire” Tom Prichard w/ “Gigolo” Jimmy Del Ray vs. JPL

Referee: Randy Anderson

A sign in the crowd prefaces this match as “The Doctor and The Degenerate!” JPL has been looking to get his formerly long-running undefeated streak back in order again, though in the back of his mind is the obvious black mark on his record from Uncensored. Prichard and Del Ray, it is noted, have been mostly featuring in dark time before Main Event and Saturday Night. The Bodies seem to have lost their footing for the past two months, and unfortunately this match sees them take yet another step back as even the “Gigolo’s” presence at ringside isn’t enough to keep JPL down for long. Del Ray gets into an argument with a fan holding a sign that says “The Gigolo Makes Me Puke!” and behind him in the ring his partner is the victim of the Pedigree, as JPL marks another notch in the win column.

Winner in 7:41: JPL

Rating: C+

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/StevenRegal.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/LannyPoffo.jpg

The match over, Lord Steven Regal and Baron Leonard Tomas make their way out of the back. He has a microphone and says to JPL that all his incessant nagging about wanting to be his partner made him think that perhaps taking on a protégé would not be the worst idea. He says that though JPL was never worthy of such an honor, he has scoured his homelands for someone who perhaps is worthy… and JPL will be pleased to meet them. As commentary wonder what he means by “them”, JPL is suddenly attacked! Two unidentified men come out of the crowd and begin putting the boots to an already tired JPL. The more stout of the two lifts him up and drills him with an inverted piledriver! Jean-Paul down, Regal laughs, finally calling the men off as the four go backstage. Before they leave, Regal says that everyone should tune in to SuperBrawl tomorrow night; despite him not being in a match on the pay-per-view, he will reveal his new associates to the world.

Rating: C-

Notes: Names withheld until SuperBrawl, but for now I’ll just tell you that their gimmicks rated very well. I’ll tell you that at SBV also.

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WaylonMercy.jpg

Before we head to commercial, we see another vignette for Waylon Mercy. He talks about how the wrestling world is talking about Waylon Mercy, but it seems people always talk about Waylon Mercy. He says that a lot of people say he loses his mind sometimes and is a very violent man, but that just isn’t right; as he said, he is a peaceful man, and he hopes that WCW fans and wrestlers will enjoy his peaceful nature, and get along with he and his friends, when he arrives at SuperBrawl tomorrow night.

Rating: C

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/kow.jpg

We go to some pre-taped comments now from the Kings of Wrestling, as Hollywood Hogan, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, “Hot Rod” Roddy Piper, and “American Outlaw” Dusty Rhodes stand by and take turns running down their foes at SuperBrawl. Hogan says that he can’t wait to show “The Nature Girl” once and for all who really is the power in pro wrestling brother; while Piper scoffs at his tag match, saying that he’s better than Simmons and Martel – maybe he should just let Bubba handle them both while he takes a nap! Dusty says that he tried to keep his son from the wrath of the Kings, but if Dustin can’t back down like a good boy when his father tells him to, then he has no choice but to unleash the Wonderful Destruction Crew on him and that jackal Anderson! Savage closes the interview, saying that “It’s been a long time coming, yeah a long time since the Silverdome, eight years passed and gone, people who were around no longer in the picture, and a lot of nights spent wondering what could have been; but no more, because at SuperBrawl, a golden chance has been granted, “The Macho Man” has the golden ticket yeah! A chance to close out a chapter of a life long forgotten.” He says that “The Dragon” should have left sleeping giants lay, because now his claim to fame of having pinned Savage will go up in smoke, and it’ll be all because he couldn’t keep his big mouth shut!

Rating: B+

Notes: Hogan and Dusty did a masterful job with their improvising, and Savage did very well also.

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/RickySteamboat.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/KimberlyPage.jpg

Kim Doll is backstage now alongside Ricky Steamboat himself, and she asks for a word about what Randy Savage was just heard saying. Steamboat says that Randy has always had a much bigger opinion of himself than was necessary, because beating Savage is definitely not his only claim to fame! He says that when he defeats him at SuperBrawl, it will mean just as much, because it will prove that even after all these years, “The Dragon” is still the better man!

Rating: B-

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/ThePatriot.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/MarcusBagwell.jpg

Out to the ring, Stars ‘n Stripes are awaiting their match. But first, they take a microphone and say that they have a nice surprise for everyone. Patriot says that they went around all the cities of this great nation, and they have found someone who loves America as much as they do, someone who isn’t afraid to don the stars and bars to show that they love this land! With that, Marcus calls out for their new manager to come to the ring, Belle Libritis!

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/Belle.jpg

To the sound of “Born in the USA” bounces a young female out of the backstage area, wearing clothes decorated with the red, white, and blue and handing out small flags to the kids in the crowd. She joins Stars ‘n Stripes in the ring, giving each of them an excited hug, as the music changes to “I’m Your Boogieman” and The Shooters make their way down to the ring for the next match, one fan in particular trying to anger them with a sign that says “Yo’ Dean, Where’s ya charisma?!”.

Rating: D+

Notes: Dawn Marie, now Belle Libritis (pronunciation key: Leh-bright-us) has debuted into a Patriot (Gimmicky) gimmick, rating at 73. Because a little eye candy is an American pastime too, right?!

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/MarcusBagwell.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/ThePatriot.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/Belle.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/vs.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/DeanMalenko.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/LanceStorm.jpg

Stars ‘n Stripes w/Belle Libritis vs. The Shooters

Referee: Mark Curtis

As a fan in the front row holds up a sign reading “Straight Shooters!” Storm and Malenko get to work on manhandling Bagwell, stretching him in center ring to the limits of human anatomy. Belle on the outside cheers on her new clients as Marcus makes a tag, and Patriot holds up well for himself as the biggest man in the match. He too eventually succumbs however, and a four-man donnybrook ensues after Storm and Bagwell get tagged in. Stars ‘n Stripes take over briefly and look for the suplex/crossbody, but out of the back comes BG Armstrong! BG never gets involved, but his presence throws Patriot off, and before you know it, Malenko shoves him out of the ring leading to Lance locking a single leg crab on Bagwell for a big win for the young duo. Stars ‘n Stripes look none too pleased, as Armstrong laughs the whole way up the aisle.

Winners in 8:01: The Shooters

Rating: C

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/CactusJack.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/Vader.jpg

Cactus Jack is in the ring, and he has a lot on his chest. He says that he didn’t get sidetracked; instead, Terry and Dory asked him to stay on the sidelines of their beef with Vader for the past two weeks. And out of respect for their wishes, he did. But, Jack says, last week Vader caused Dory to leave WCW, and with their match at SuperBrawl right around the corner, Cactus fully intends to make Vader pay in pounds of flesh for what he did to his mentors and friends! Vader and Onoo walk casually out to the ring, Vader laughing the whole way. He says that Jack has no chance at SuperBrawl, his only chance is to not go to Roanoke tomorrow… but if he’s too stubborn to get out of harm’s way, then maybe Dory and Terry can set up a bed in the hospital room they’re all sharing! Jack has heard enough, and he decks Sonny before pouncing on Vader! WCW’s crack security team are on the ball here, as neither man does any significant damage to the other before things get broken up.

Rating: B-

Meng w/Dusty Rhodes vs. “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes

Referee: Randy Anderson

We may have seen this match a few times already, but it’s always a match worth checking out. Meng and Dustin beat the crap out of one another, as fans are loving both sides, signs in the crowd of “Golden Dustin!” and “Meng the Merciless!” being seen. Dustin at one point has things well in control, but Meng’s innate toughness comes back and puts him in the offensive. “The Natural” finally swings things back his way, but that’s when his father from the outside gets on the apron and starts advising him? Dusty tells his son to do it, be a man and hit the killing blow! Dustin gets thrown completely off his game, and Meng grabs him with the Tongan Deathgrip, putting Dustin down as “The American Outlaw” shakes his head on the outside.

Winner in 8:56: Meng

Rating: B-

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/BrianPillman2.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/RonSimmons.jpg

We head backstage to see Brian Pillman and Ron Simmons face to face! The tension is high, but as they talk about how the past, you can see them slowly turn to one single conclusion, as put eloquently by Ron: that “no matter what happened between us before, now it is all about beating down some KoW scumbags!”

Rating: C

Notes: Both men really enjoyed having the freedom to improvise their dialogue.

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/SteveAustin.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/BradArmstrong.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/BrianJames.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/RobertFuller.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/GeneOkerlund.jpg

Gene Okerlund is backstage elsewhere, where he brings in the four men comprising the Stud Stable, US champion Stunning Steve Austin, the Armstrong Brothers – BG and Brad – and manager Colonel Robert Parker. Parker in particular seems to drift between glee and fear depending on when he feels as though attention is on him, but Austin handles most of the talking as Okerlund asks questions about SuperBrawl. Austin says how tomorrow night his title defense will be business as usual, as he grabs Sting and drops him with the Stunner en route to victory. BG takes point for a moment, calling Stars ‘n Stripes stupid for thinking that a pair of sexy legs will be enough to defeat he and Brad tomorrow on WCW Main Event. Brad even takes time to remind us that he was the last WCW Light Heavyweight champion for a reason; because he was one of the best. Parker adds that only the best are in his Stud Stable, and beams with joy in announcing that tomorrow night at SuperBrawl, we will add another to our illustrious ranks! Mean Gene tries to probe for who it could be, but everyone’s lips are sealed as we head out to the ring.

Rating: C

Notes: Gene was masterful at his improvising, though Brad seemed to struggle with his dialogue.

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/JesseVentura.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/MichaelHayes.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/TerryGordy.jpg

The camera catches a flash of a sign that says “MR........KENNEDY.......IS..........COMING.......1 ......WEEK......FROM......NOW.....” as Jesse “The Body” Ventura makes his way to the ring for this week’s edition of The Body Shop! He introduces his guests one at a time, Michael “P.S.” Hayes strutting out as Terry Gordy walks slowly and sternly to the ring. Hayes takes first to the microphone, saying that Gordy has made a huge mistake by taking on this I Quit match with him, saying that never in his career has he ever quit anything, and he doesn’t intend to start doing so tomorrow night in Roanoke at SuperBrawl! He says that Terry is probably thinking this will be easy, but he’s got another thing comin’, because Hayes is gonna show the world that he backs up all his talk on his own and Gordy rode his coattails all this time!

Jesse turns the microphone to Terry for some thoughts, but he is very short winded; he simply tells Hayes that “You talk too much” before punching him in the jaw! The brawl is on as Ventura scampers to get out of the ring and call for security! Before they can get there though, Michael ducks a lariat and brings Gordy down into an armbar submission! Terry yelps in pain as Hayes applies pressure, as Tony says that it looks as though Michael DOES have some tricks up his sleeve – he just may prove to be Gordy’s undoing yet!

Rating: B-

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/RicFlair.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/ArnAnderson.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/DustinRhodes.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/GeneOkerlund.jpg

Mean Gene brings in guests at this time, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, and Dustin Rhodes. Dustin is highly upset at himself for losing his composure earlier, but he tells Arn he has his word that tomorrow night it will not happen again! Anderson says that he trusts it won’t, because he’ll be there, and if Dusty wants to get on the apron, there’s a left hand that he’ll be reacquainted with in a hurry! Flair takes point then, and he says that tomorrow night, SuperBrawl, Roanoke, Virginia, woooo, the party is at the hotel! He mostly hits all the popular stuff, and says that the title is coming home tomorrow because it’s going to take an act of god for Hogan to walk out of the show with the belt! Tony talks briefly about how he may not always agree with Ric Flair, but feels that if there’s anyone in WCW who can defeat Hollywood Hogan with the belt on the line, it’s him. The scene is punctuated with a sign in the front row that says “Kings of Wrestling? No. Four Horsemen? Yes!” which Bobby says he agrees with.

Rating: B

Notes: Flair did not do well this week, though Arn worked the crowd quite well by playing along with them, and Dustin was masterful in his improvisation.

Backstage we see California Kip and Bubba Rogers being talked to by Hollywood Hogan. Hogan shoves the cameraman away, but he is giving them some last-minute advice before they head to the ring, as their match with Brian Pillman and Ron Simmons is next!

Rating: B

Notes: Hogan struggled with improvising here, whatever he may have said.

“Loose Cannon” Brian Pillman & Ron Simmons vs. The Kings of Wrestling

Referee: Nick Patrick

This one is a brawl, plain and simple. The two managers on the outside continually shout encouragement to their men, as Pillman and Simmons do well enough on their own merits. While they may not be regular tag team partners – let alone altogether like one another – the two have a common enemy, and have been in enough tag teams to know well enough how to fall back and depend on your partner. Bobby plays devil’s advocate, saying that that same is true of Bubba and Kip, and claiming that Kip was likely doomed to be a tag team wrestler for his entire career had he stayed where he was instead of joining the Kings of Wrestling and getting a chance at singles glory. Tony begrudgingly admits that, especially now that the deck seems stacked against Pillman, Kip has a pretty good chance of winning the TV title at SuperBrawl, but Heenan says that he’s known Nick Bockwinkel for a long time, and thinks that if he says he’ll be fair, he’ll be fair. This match goes exactly how you would think it does, as Bubba and Simmons brawl with one another when they’re in the ring, Pillman uses his speed and agility to his advantage, and Kip is a blend of both power when Brian is in the ring and athletic prowess when against Ron. The end of the match comes surprisingly, as all of Pillman’s insanity-fueled flying around comes to haunt him when he gets caught by the big “Guardian Angel” and he gets planted with a Bubba Slam for the three count!

Winners in 11:52: Bubba Rogers and California Kip

Rating: C+

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/NickBockwinkel.jpg

As Brian Pillman gets up and shakes out the cobwebs, he sees a spectator at the top of the aisle: WCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel, not doing anything but watching. Pillman laughs, as he stares on at the man who holds his match tomorrow at SuperBrawl in his hands!

Tony quickly sends us backstage, as apparently there’s a big commotion. We go to see the Road Warriors face to face with Rick and Scott Steiner! The Steiners are talking about how they hope Hawk and Animal have shined the titles up really nicely so that there’s no Kings filth on the belts when Rick and Scott win them at SuperBrawl! Hawk and Animal don’t take lightly to the taunting, and security again have to step in and separate a fistfight! Jesse says that tensions are definitely running high tonight before SuperBrawl tomorrow night!

Rating: B-

Before the break, we see “Nature Boy” Ric Flair and Rick Martel walking elsewhere backstage, heading toward the ring. The main event of the night is next!

The Kings of Wrestling vs. “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, & Rick Martel

Referee: Tommy Young

Tommy Young once again has his hands full with this one, as these six men seem to outright hate one another! Everyone cross-mingles feuds with one another, given how much bad blood there is between seemingly all of them stemming from at one point or another. The crowds seem torn, as signs are seen in the crowd of “The Hollywood Macho Rods,” “The Nature Model Dragons,” and “Kings, Dragons and Models, oh my!” the last one eliciting a small chuckle from Schiavone. The Queen screams at ringside anytime Hollywood takes any kind of punishment, but she and Jimmy Hart applaud anytime their men do anything, even just when Piper locks Flair into a side headlock. The two on the outside don’t play much more part than that for the majority of the match, until the ending. Steamboat and Savage have tumbled to the outside, which is where Tommy Young’s attention is, as well as Ric Flair putting a chop to Jimmy Hart for even thinking about interfering! Behind him, Martel has locked Piper in the Quebec Crab, but before Young can come to him for a submission, Queen has slipped Hollywood the megaphone, and he uses it on the back of Martel’s neck! Hogan snuggles it to Piper and sends them both out of the ring amid the confusion, before dropping the big legdrop on the hurt Martel in order to pick up a big victory the night before SuperBrawl for the Kings of Wrestling!

Winners in 16:06: Hollywood Hogan, Randy Savage, and Roddy Piper

Rating: A

The match may be over, but these men aren’t finished! Ric Flair and Hollywood Hogan tackle into one another, the two icons of the sport brawling like two men in a barroom! Roddy Piper picks his spot and starts punching Martel, until Ricky Steamboat comes over and kicks him away, but Randy Savage is in a rage again, and attacks Steamboat! Paul Orndorff makes his way out and starts helping his brethren, but then out rushes Arn Anderson to fight with him! The show goes off the air with Tony saying that security are on their way, but there will be no stopping these men from fighting tomorrow night at SuperBrawl!

Prediction Key: (Heels First)

Hollywood Hogan w/The Queen vs. “Nature Boy” Ric Flair

I just can't see Hogan losing yet.

“Macho Man” Randy Savage vs. Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat

Should be a classic like their WrestleMania III match and could go either way, but i guess that you're keeping Macho strong here.

“Stunning” Steve Austin w/Col. Robert Parker vs. Sting

The new member of the Studs will cost Sting the match.

“The Monster” Vader w/Sonny Onoo vs. Cactus Jack

Cactus will smack a damn chair on the face of uncle Vader, but he's not the one to stop him.

The Road Warriors w/Dusty Rhodes vs. The Steiner Brothers

The LOD will regain the gold eventually, but the Steiners win here, maybe with the help of Harlem Heat. I could see a draw here too.

California Kip w/Jimmy Hart vs. “Loose Cannon” Brian Pillman

Pillman will do something crazy like Austin did at Over The Edge in 1998 to retain the gold. And i can't see ANYONE beating The Pill for the gold.

“Hot Rod” Roddy Piper & “Guardian Angel” Bubba Rogers w/Jimmy Hart & Dusty Rhodes vs. Ron Simmons & Rick Martel

My boy Martel takes the fall again, unfortunately...

Terry Gordy vs. Michael “P.S.” Hayes

Terry ends the Freebirds grudge for good.

Wonderful Destruction Crew w/Dusty Rhodes vs. “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes & “The Enforcer” Arn Anderson

Unless Anderson is turning here, i can't see the WDC winning. BUT...as i see Anderson turning, they win.

Waylon Mercy vs. Tracy Smothers

Mercy is debuting, he's promising and Smothers is a jobber.

WCW Main Event: The Shooters vs. Johnny B. Badd & “Das Wunderkind” Alex Wright w/Teddy Long & Larry Zbyszko

Keep em' strong.

WCW Main Event: The Armstrong Brothers w/Col. Robert Parker vs. Stars ‘n Stripes w/Belle Libritis

Belle means a renewed push.

Tiebreaker Questions:

What will be the SECOND best match of the show? Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat

What match will go on before the main event? Steve Austin vs. Sting

Who will join the Stud Stable? Hmmmm...i guess that it is the huge defection that you mentioned some time ago. It seems unlikely, but i'm going with The Undertaker, screwing Sting out of the win.

How many turns will there be? One. Just a feeling.

How many titles will change hands? One too. The Tag Team Titles.

Fun Fan Signs (Two Sign Limit): Five Stars for Macho vs. Dragon!

Austin 3:16 says i just screwed Sting!

Hollywood Hogan w/The Queen vs. <strong>“Nature Boy” Ric Flair</strong></p><p>

<em>A draw here between Macho and The Dragon to set up another match.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<p>As per the usual, the show is just about complete and that means time for <strong>The 24</strong>(ish) <strong>Hour Prediction Warning</strong>!!!!!!!</p><p> </p><p>

It's been some tough work to make this show live up to its own hype, but I'm doing it so far (I hope!) and with it just about over, I can't wait to get into what's coming up in March! I also have written up a "state of the game" post that I will be posting alongside SuperBrawl for everyone to be able to catch up on what's been happening in the game since July of 94. I intend to start doing so on a monthly basis in the future, basically ripping off TFC's end of month report but I don't think he'll mind too much <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

The prediction contest for SuperBrawl is still pretty wide open, so come on, everyone; jump right in and win yourselves a prize!</p><p> </p><p>

<p>Nearly missed this...</p><p> </p><p>

Hollywood Hogan w/The Queen vs. <strong>“Nature Boy” Ric Flair</strong></p><p>

<em>I still think Sting/Hogan is pretty much written in stone for Starrcade... and I don't see Hogan holding the belt for the full year - a win for Flair here will give a feel good moment but more importantly keep the feud going.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Macho Man” Randy Savage</strong> vs. Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat</p><p>

<em>Macho gets his win back.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Stunning” Steve Austin</strong> w/Col. Robert Parker vs. Sting</p><p>

<em>With Hogan dropping the World title (in my mind), it allows this nice little feud to keep running and Austin stealing a win from the Stinger.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“The Monster” Vader w/Sonny Onoo</strong> vs. Cactus Jack</p><p>

<em>Vader is ticking along nicely right now but Cactus isn't getting the upset here I don't think.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Road Warriors w/Dusty Rhodes</strong> vs. The Steiner Brothers</p><p>

<em>Dusty to be the deciding factor.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>California Kip w/Jimmy Hart</strong> vs. “Loose Cannon” Brian Pillman</p><p>

<em>I'm planning on Hogan letting down a clean sweep for the KoWs</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Hot Rod” Roddy Piper & “Guardian Angel” Bubba Rogers w/Jimmy Hart</strong> & Dusty Rhodes vs. Ron Simmons & Rick Martel</p><p>

<em>Again... hanging my hat on Hogan being cleaned out in the main event so the rest of the KoW have to deliver</em></p><p> </p><p>

Terry Gordy vs. <strong>Michael “P.S.” Hayes</strong></p><p>

<em>Hayes to make that cowardly Gordy give up.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Wonderful Destruction Crew w/Dusty Rhodes</strong> vs. “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes & “The Enforcer” Arn Anderson</p><p>

<em>Dusty be up to no good here.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Waylon Mercy</strong> vs. Tracy Smothers</p><p>

<em>Spivey! Spivey! Spivey!</em></p><p> </p><p>

WCW Main Event: <strong>The Shooters</strong> vs. Johnny B. Badd & “Das Wunderkind” Alex Wright w/Teddy Long & Larry Zbyszko</p><p>

<em>Spot the odd one out...</em></p><p> </p><p>

WCW Main Event: The Armstrong Brothers w/Col. Robert Parker vs. <strong>Stars ‘n Stripes w/Belle Libritis</strong></p><p>

<em>Stars 'n Stripes need to win soon... right?</em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Tiebreaker Questions:</p><p>

What will be the SECOND best match of the show? Flair/Hogan - <em>I'm taking Mach & Dragon to top them... for old times sake.</em></p><p>

What match will go on before the main event? <em>Vader/Cactus Jack</em></p><p>

Who will join the Stud Stable? Waylon Mercy</p><p>

How many turns will there be? 0</p><p>

How many titles will change hands? 1</p><p> </p><p>

Fun Fan Signs (Two Sign Limit): 'Freebird Rule, Rules!', 'Roma = Money'</p>
