I know technically that the WWE's version of ECW started the day after One Night Stand 2 but it is impossible to start a game mid-month. I have it re-written to where One Night Stand happens on the original date (With some changes that will be pointed out in the results below) and the Tuesday Week 1 July 2006 is the start date. I have changed up the roster significantly from what history has written and also given myself 90 minutes of TV every Tuesday versus 30 and the product is a more modern meets mainstream (Performance and Pop rated equally). Tazz defeated Jerry "The King" Lawler in 35 seconds after Tazzmission. Taz then joined Joey Styles on commentary for the evening The Full Blooded Italians (Little Guido and Tony Mamaluke) defeated Super Crazy and Tajiri after a double team Muscle Buster on Tajiri... Post-match Randy Orton (Who is flanked by two allies and a woman) enter the ring and with the help of his goons attack the FBI and Crazy/Tajiri. Orton explains that when Vince McMahon made the deal with Heyman to re-launch ECW that he was "demoted" to the "Bingo Hall League" for "attitude problems". Orton says he doesn't mind only working once a week though and will gladly serve his punishment for the next six months. Orton introduces his allies as Nick Nemeth, Bobby Roode and Beth Phoenix... all three people at one point burned by WWE that he has brought into ECW to help make his time "more tolerable". Randy Orton defeated ECW's Smackdown Draft Pick Kurt Angle after outside interference on Orton's behalf by Hardcore Holly. A hot back and forth contest with Angle attempting to fight off Nemeth and Roode and Orton fighting off "boring" chants. Angle looked ready to tap out Orton with his Ankle Lock but a man in a security shirt and cap ran down to the ring and nailed Angle with a clothesline... this allowed Orton to recuperate enough to hit the RKO for the victory. Post-match the man joined Orton, Nemeth, Roode and Phoenix in the ring and revealed himself to be Hardcore Holly Rey Mysterio and Sabu went to a draw for the World Heavyweight Title after a botched DDT through a table and neither man being medically able to further compete. While the medical staff was checking up on both men at ringside... ECW's newest signing "The British Bruiser" Paul Burchill came to ringside with a mysterious woman behind him and started attacking Sabu... security eventually escorted Burchill out of the building but the damage was done with Sabu taking a Powerbomb on the ring apron from the British Bruiser Edge, Lita and Mick Foley defeated Tommy Dreamer, Beulah and Terry Funk after Edge hit Beulah with a Spear In a Tag Match showcasing ECW's newest talent's CM Punk and the Stampede Bulldogs defeated Matt Sydal, Brian Kendrick and Paul London in an exciting and fast paced six man tag match after Punk hit the GTS on Matt Sydal Stevie Richards defeated Balls Mahoney and The Sandman in an Extreme Rules Triple Threat after Richards hit Mahoney with a Stevie Kick... The Sandman was taken out of the match towards the end when CM Punk returned to ringside and viciously attacked him on the outside of the ring by hitting him with a GTS and pouring beer all over his face... Post-match Richards checks on Sandman before the Main Event... Rob Van Dam defeated John Cena in a hot back and forth contest after Edge speared Cena... this allowed Edge to capture the WWE Championship... If dealing with Randy wasn't bad enough... he brought with him Nick Nemeth, Robert Roode, Hardcore Holly and Beth Phoenix who aligned with anyone else on the roster would be valuable assets to ECW but look to be no more than just wasted potential... Orton may think that gang mentality can get him far on Smackdown but here in ECW "Backstage problems" tend to be you aren't man enough to hold your own in a fight rather than urinating in a diva's bag or taking one to many pain pills! Paul Heyman is said to be furious about the arrival of Orton and his gang and has promised to confront Orton for his actions against Kurt Angle at One Night Stand! ECW Owner Paul Heyman has informed me he has been scouting women from all over the globe to compete in a real women's division here in ECW! That scouting will pay off this week as the "Scream Queen" Daffney Unger debuts in the land of Extreme against fellow debutante "The Beauty Queen" Miss Talia! What will happen when these two "Queens of Wrestling" go head to head!? CM Punk won over the ECW audience with a good showing in a six man tag in One Night Stand and then shocked the world by attacking the Sandman during Sandman's triple threat match with Stevie Richards and Balls Mahoney. Sandman has yet to be heard from since the attack but Sandman's ECW Original friend Stevie Richards has voted to step up to the plate against one of ECW's new blood in CM Punk. The match is set... Always go with the ???... well... not always... It's a separate company. Have working relationship with them but probably won't exercise it to much unless for minor talent trades/other things. Extreme Divas Action: Daffney vs. Miss Talia CM Punk vs. Stevie Richards - Despite this, Stevie is the man and it'd be cool if you did something with him. Rob Van Dam vs. ??? - Champ doesn't lose just yet but I could see this match leading to his first feud. I like this idea, it's a really cool one. Good luck! Holly and Orton look at each other and shrug and begin to walk slowly to the ring again... "Alright you signed the deal for him" says Angle as he goes to lock on the Ankle Lock again... You see I'm no longer required to work as many dates as I would as a Smackdown Superstar... I'm no longer required to go do radio interviews where I pretend I'm excited to be in shitholes like Ashbury Park, New Jersey... I'm no longer required to do anything except show up, wrestle and go home... but I wanted to "give back" to a business that has given me so much"... <br id=""><br id="">You see Vince thought he was "demoting" me but in actuality it gave me a lot of leeway. Vince isn't punishing me in reality... he's sending me here to clean up because he loves me... he was never going to fire me... and technically the ECW Brand is a subsiduary of World Wrestling Entertainment. So I got Vince to agree to sign a few people to contracts on this said "subsiduary"... Bob Holly was the first one... You see when I was called up to the big leauges in 2002... Bob Holly was the guy that made sure I could hang in the big leagues by wrestling me on house shows and on television throughout my rookie year. The WWE would never want you to know this but Bob Holly is one of the tougher guys in the locker room and the new generation could learn a thing or two from him.... you can call Bob Holly... Van Dam seemed to get cocky with Dreamer in the opening minutes but Dreamer proved he can wrestle with the best of them.<br id="">-Towards the end of the match Dreamer was able to hit a Death Valley Driver on Van Dam and almost get the three... Dreamer would pick up Van Dam and attempt another Death Valley Driver but Van Dam would reverse it into a DDT... Also enjoyed Sean Morley!! Again, everything he said was true too... a solid midcarder his whole career, but in your excellent ECW roster, he could be a star... Love the layout too... Just wondering, can i possibly request a roster post so I know exactly who works for you at the moment?! Or is it quite loose with the WWE relationship that your company has?! Yeh I really like the preview style for your show... would be a lot of work for my diary as I have three large shows a week... but if you only have one a week, i can't see the harm in it. For my PPV previews I get Michael Cole, JBL and Edge to preview the event in a similar way to that always fun to have the 'opinions' of your top announcers to help inform non-regular readers. What I like about yours is that the wrestlers will be biased towards themselves, but might make the other person sound good (incase they lose) keep it up chuck (up-chuck... urghhh) your work is excellent and from an era/company I'd be very interested in reading about for a long time...
