INSPIRE Fighting Championships - The Legacy of Ares[2015 T-verse]

Recommended Posts

The day was pretty gloomy to start with with overcast conditions really sucking away any excitement from the life, the situation similar to my life.

I am Ares, or more famous within the American wrestling fraternity as "God of War".

Till few months ago, i was the head booker of GWS or Guerrilla Wrestling Syndicate. I shed my blood, sweat and tears for this company for 2 years and gave them the impetus that they needed, giving our fans hot storylines, making new stars and bringing new faces but yet, i was given the boot.

Those douchebags claimed that i had halted the growth of the company which was entirely untrue. Our attendance has tripled from 2 years ago, we had created new stars and yet i was made the scapegoat just because i signed a couple of guys and our company was not in the top 15 of the world.

Are you ******g kidding me?? We were involved month in month out in regional battles with more established promotions like Club and Wrestle-X and so this is expected. On one hand, they talk about bringing revolution, being rebels and on other hand, they cower at the first sight of disappointment and start the blame game.

Well, f**k them and f**k GWS. One thing i have known from this experience is that you need to create your own legacy with your own hands, nobody will be there for you when the going gets tough.

Yes, offers were coming in left and right but i shivered to take any of them. Because if the same thing happens again after another couple of years, i will be screwed again.

So, what next?? I thought hard and hard and finally the idea hit me.

The promotion which promotes it as a serious contest, which brings a sense of respect and gives the wrestlers the will to go and give their best every single night.

Based in Mid South (as we will not have competition from the start),

here comes

SETUP

Inspire Fighting Championships aspire to be a real alternative to all other promotions, a promotion where there will be no silly storylines or over the top characters, where wrestling will be presented as a serious athletic contest between various competitors, and brawlers, luchadors, technicians, aerial specialists anybody can take part.

A melting pot of various styles, the ultimate hybrid.

INSPIRE will operate on a season basis. Every season will be from January to December.

For the first three months, we will be holding Tournaments to determine the best.

 Masters Tournament

January will be home to Asia-Pacific Masters, a tournament featuring 8 wrestlers handpicked from different countries from the Asia Pacific region who all strive to become the best in the region.

In the same way, February hosts European masters and March hosts North American Masters.

The winner of each tournament then face each other in a triple threat match in April to determine the INSPIRE Master Class Champion, the recognition of the best of the best in the company.

Ranking System

The finalists of each tournament will form the Master Class division who will all fight for the Master Class Championship.

The losing semi-finalists along with two of the quarter finalists determined through match-ups will form the Elite Class division who will fight for the Elite Class Championship(the midcard belt of the company).

And all the remaining wrestlers forms the Warrior Class division to win the Warrior Class Championship(low level belt)

At the end of every season, the last two ranked competitors will fight for their survival with new handpicked contestants as determined by our fans through our websites and if they lose, they will be gone from the company. The champion of each class can challenge the lowest ranked competitor of it's immediate upper class for a place in that division provided he gets 4 successful defenses under his belt.

These are the rigorous set of rules through which INSPIRE will look to unearth the top wrestlers of the promotion.

The ring have been setup, the wrestlers signed, the support staff is in place and now we gear up for the biggest test in the Mid South, the Asia Pacific Masters.

The wrestlers who have entered the tournament are a talented bunch, coming from all corners.

ASIA PACIFIC MASTERS

PARTICIPANTS

Name: "The Hart of Okinawa" Go Takashi
Age: 24(4 year pro)
Style: Brawler
Size: Heavyweight

Bio: Go Takashi is a young worker from Okinawa who many expect big things from in the wrestling business. Instead of many other young prospects, he didn’t sign up to the Ozeki dojo run by UPJ, instead travelling to the United Kingdom at age 19 to study under Daniel Hart at the Hart Foundation in London. A true student of the game, Takashi is one of the few non-family members to graduate from those hallowed halls.
Showing real flare in his brawling but also deceptive chain wrestling, Takashi still lacks big stage experience and top quality competition, but if he can find both of those and continue to mature as a worker, it looks like the sky could be the limit.

Name: "Blonde Dynamite" Blondie Momotani
Age: 26(6 year pro)
Style: Japanese Junior
Size: Lightweight

Bio: Blondie Momotani, so called because of the highlights in his hair, is a very consistent, promising junior style wrestler from Japan who is looking to get his first big break in the sport. Working the independent scene around the south of the country, Momotani was one of the many wrestlers who was interviewed by the DIASPORA Four just after the promotion's opening. While Momotani wasn't called up, he impressed enough that the company has since sent a handful of scouts to keep watch on his development. He hopes his performance here in INSPIRE propels him to big leagues.

Name: "The Resident Rock Star" ICHIBEI
Age: 22(2 year pro)
Style: Puroresu
Size: Heavyweight

Bio: A heavy metal singer outside of the ring, heavyweight brawler ICHIBEI is a surprisingly good wrestling inside it too. While his psychology is a little lower than his trainers would have hoped, ICHIBEI's huge star quality, good charisma and decent basics should set him in good stead for a decent career in puroresu - assuming the bright lights of rock don't tear him away first!

Name: "The Crazy Samurai" OMURA
Age: 36(16 year pro)
Style: Brawler
Size: Lightweight

Bio: Masaaki Omura, better known to wrestling fans as OMURA, is a crazy hardcore brawler who has spent much of his career in the United States. OMURA's willingness to put his body on the line has won him many plaudits, especially during his six year stay in PWSUX where he quickly became one of the promotion's top names.
Although his tendency to push the limits of daredevil wrestling won him the most fans in the likes of PWSUX and LETHAL, OMURA's wrestling ability shouldn't be underestimated and he also a strong technical wrestler, with a superb grasp of all of psychology and the basics.

Name: "The Preacher" Tiger Singh
Age: 31(13 year pro)
Style: Technician
Size: Middleweight

Bio: Indian-born professional wrestler Tiger Singh is a scientific technical wrestler who in his younger days trained with the great Bharat Chowdary. While India has a relatively young wrestling scene, Singh quickly became one of the country's biggest stars and in late 2012 was scouted by a number of American companies looking to open up their marketability in the subcontinent.
Extremely resilient, Singh's biggest failings are his inconsistency and mediocre selling which he hopes to rectify during his stint with INSPIRE. In addition to his wrestling career, Singh is very religious, and even had his own televised prayer groups for a time.

Name: "The Malay Boss" Tony Chi
Age: 27(5 year pro)
Style: Puroresu
Size: Light Heavyweight

Bio: Tony Chi is a Malaysian wrestler who was born and raised in the United States. A graduate of the AWF School of Wrestling in 2008, Tony went against the style he was taught in favour of a more traditional Japanese approach. Unimpressed with the change, the AWF released Tony before he could wrestle a single match for the company.
Unfazed, Chi took a couple of years out to travel Japan and train 'on the job' as part of the Japanese indy scene. Currently dividing his time between the US and Japan, Tony is hoping that 2015 will finally bring steady recognition to him.

Name: "The Guru" Jash Patel
Age: 23(2 year pro)
Style: Cruiserweight
Size: Lightweight

Bio: A huge fan of professional wrestling, and in particular the Indian promotion Wrestling India, Pakistan-born Jash Patel left home at 15 to join WI's brand new wrestling school. Convincing trainer and WI Cruiserweight champion Wahid Bali to let him train for free in exchange for working backstage, Patel excelled in his training and was soon ready for the ring. Fate, however, stepped in and before Patel could debut WI folded. With help from Bali, Patel headed to the United States where his look, charisma and wrestling style were expected to get him far.
The move seems to have worked well, with Patel working the first two seasons of The Club™ as the company's resident guru, Sarvesh Dutt. He left by mutual agreement in 2012 and ever since has been burning up the indies with his performance.

Name: Maori Warrior
Age: 25(5 year pro)
Style: Brawler
Size: Heavyweight

Bio: The Maori Warrior is a real powerhouse wrestler from New Zealand who has recently moved to the United States. Having been a huge fan of the WWWE growing up, the Maori Warrior has hopes of making a name for himself as the first true Maori World Champion in the industry's long history.
Although he is still relatively young, Warrior has enough about his game already to be a potential star if given the right mentoring.

<p>Interesting format. Not one that appeals to me to book so much, but reading someone else do so is a different matter. I do like seeing Ares journey/story continue from GWS and as for your first groups, Chi, Singh and Patel are all good hands in the ring.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I've gone much the same way as MJ when it comes down to the Finals forming, but OMURA's my man for this.</p>

<p>Looking good so far. Like Sebs, it's not a promotion I could book for long (that really applies to most performance-based feds), but it looks a lot of fun to read. Interesting roster too!</p><p> </p><p>

Thanks for all the predictions so far.

I have always wanted to do a performance based fed for long. Even though it does not really allow for some epic storylines but i have some ideas for them and it also challenges me to develop characters without dedicating numerous angles to it which i am hoping to achieve.

I am using a modified DRAGON product:

Key Feature: Pure

Heavy: Traditional

Medium: Mainstream, Lucha Libre, Realism

This can be also seen as a shameless bump to get some more predictions.

MASTERS TOURNAMENT FORMAT

The format is a simple one which allows for exciting contests.
The quarter finals are simple 1 v 1 matchups where you have to rely on your own strength and talent to win.

The semi-finals become a Falls Count Anywhere affair as elements of weapon usage are added to the mix.

The finals are home to a special match, created by INSPIRE. Something called Patriots War. The national flag of both of the finalists will be suspended on top and to win you have to retrieve your own national flag using a ladder.

So, with the format in place, we anxiously await the start of the tournament.

http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/AaronCoker_zps831bb4a3.jpghttp://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-d9d9d9-l.png

The ring have been setup, the flyers distributed, tickets sold and finally we are here. Ladies and gentlemen, we are coming to you live from a completely sold out Club Azgard in Santa Fe and you are witnessing history. I am Aaron Coker and alongside me is my colleague at the announce booth, Grizzly Walker.

Thanks Coker, and atmosphere in this arena is awe-f**king-some . This place really feels a wrestling nirvana of sorts and tonight we are presenting you one of the unique concepts of the world of wrestling which we hope will become bigger and larger with every passing year.
http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/AaronCoker_zpse9fc1714.jpghttp://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-d9d9d9-l.png
Yes, buddy. INSPIRE is ready to take over the American wrestling and the first chapter in our dominance starts tonight with this unique tournament called Asia Pacific Masters where 8 individuals from the region strive to become the best. You have seen the participants, now it’s time to watch the action.
And the fun does not stop here as right after tonight, in the same vein, we bring you the European Masters and the  North American Masters to determine the best in each region.
So with that inroduction from the announce team, we get our first action of the night when "The Preacher" Tiger Singh makes his way to the ring.
http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/TigerSingh_zps4d02b955.jpghttp://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-d9d9d9-l.png
Come on ladies and gentlemen, bow down to the greatness, in the name of god, leave this materialistic world and give in to your spirituality and you will achieve karma. Follow me as i release my opponent tonight from the worthlessness of his life and enlighten him towards a path of freedom. So, Momotani come in and let me release you from the shackles that have been binding you forever and you will forever be indebted to me for giving you a new life.
− The crowd did not like being preached and they booed the hell out of Tiger. Neither did Momotani liked it as he ran in and performed a springboard flying scissor takedown on Tiger.

− After that initial bit of setback, Tiger recovered well enough and he starts taking control and decimates Blondie with painful stretches and holds.

− With Blondie completely out of it, Tiger hits his Delhi Driver for the win.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Winner: Tiger Singh via pinfall(Delhi Driver) in 10:37

http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/AaronCoker_zpse9fc1714.jpghttp://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-d9d9d9-l.png
Impressive win by Tiger but i think, the crowd have found out their villain in INSPIRE as they were voracious in their booing of him.
That's right buddy. Nobody likes to listen to speeches and definitely no preaching. So, i hope somebody him up tonight otherwise we will be suffering from his inconsequential words all year long.
http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/AaronCoker_zpse9fc1714.jpghttp://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-d9d9d9-l.png
And up next, our resident rock star, ICHIBEI takes on the the "The Hart of Okinawa" Go Takashi. Takashi has the edge in this as he has all the tools having graduated from the hallowed halls of Hart Foundation.
Don't count out ICHIBEI though. This man is a star and he will make sure he gives his fans something to cheer about.
− ICHIBEI came decked in complete rock gear with a guitar in his hand playing to his fans which by the look of the arena were plenty.

− Not a particularly good match as the technical brawling style of Takashi and the smashmouth in your face style of Ichibei did not match well together.

− Ichibei finally put an end to the match with a guitar hit to Takashi's face behind referee's back and finished the match with Heavy Metal Hangover.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Winner: ICHIBEI via pinfall(Heavy Metal Hangover) in 10:50

− Surrounded by the sounds of Maori war drums, the entrance of Maori Warrior was quite intimidating and his tatooed face made for quite a daunting sight.

− Jash was unsettled at the beginning which Warrior took full advantage of  smashing him with painful slams and punches.

− Jash finally found his rythm when he dodged out of a corner splash attempt and unleashed a full plethora of kicks - calf kicks, dropkicks and roundhouse.

− With Warrior brought down by that Jash barrage, he took full advantage of it hitting his Patel-Liner(West Coast Pop) for the win.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Winner: Jash Patel via pinfall(Patel-Liner) in 11:47

http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/AaronCoker_zpse9fc1714.jpghttp://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-d9d9d9-l.png
Two great matches there. That Maori Warrior looks intimidating.Even though he lost, watch out for him. He could be a dangerous man in this promotion.
That's what INSPIRE is all about Coker. Talent hand picked from all around the world to perform on a common platform. We win, the promotion wins but above all else, the fans win as they witness these golden individuals leave their mark on the field of wrestling. It's a win-win.
http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/AaronCoker_zpse9fc1714.jpghttp://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-d9d9d9-l.png
And up next, our last quarter final features two wrestlers who need no introduction. On one hand we have "The Crazy Ninja" OMURA who does not hesitate to put his body on the line everytime he wrestles a match which led him to become one of the popular figures in American wrestling.
And on the other hand, the rebel from Malaysia "The Malay Boss" Tony Chi. The former graduate of AWF School who went against his bosses and changed his wrestling style which led to his release, he has been impressing everybody with his performance in the indies since then.
− This was of course the match of the night and surely an early contender for match of the year for us.

− It was evident from the beginning that these two work great together. OMURA showed off why he is famous by putting his body on the line that earned him loud cheers throughout the arena. Highlights include a suicide dive on the barricade sandwiching Chi and a humongous crossbody on Tony on the ramp which hurt both himself and his opponent.

− Tony kept up with OMURA unleashing his own brand of puroresu style beatdown and keeping everybody on the edge.

− With everybody awaiting a single moment that could change the course of the match, OMURA grabbed it when he ducked a corner crossbody and then flattening Tony with a Crazy Buster(top rope brainbuster).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Winner: OMURA via pinfall(Crazy Buster) in 11:40

http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/AaronCoker_zpse9fc1714.jpghttp://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-d9d9d9-l.png
Fantastic match. That's what we were talking about. Simply took our breath away. Tony tried hard but in the end it was OMURA who used his experience and his risk taking ability to put the match in the bag.
The semi-final line up is complete. Tiger Singh takes on ICHIBEI which i am hoping Tiger loses and the other match pits OMURA takes on Jash Patel and the stakes go higher as well as the semi-finals are Falls Count Anywhere.
− The stipulation of this match played into the hands of ICHIBEI who used the surroundings to his advantage slamming chairs around Tiger's head.

− But Tiger was tough as nails. Even after taking in so many chair shots, he came back every time.

− Channeling his inner peace as he claims, Tiger put up a hell of a fight even kicking out of a Heavy Metal Hangover.

− With no other way, ICHIBEI took his guitar and tried to hit Tiger but he saw it coming and ducked in at the last moment and followed up with haymakers rattling ICHIBEI.

− With the match turning completely in his favor, Tiger hit two sucessive Delhi Drivers to seal the match and his place in the finals.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Winner: Tiger Singh via pinfall(Delhi Driver) in 11:45

− With a place in final at stake, OMURA shined as he took to this match like a fish takes to water.

− Hitting Jash through multitude of weapons, Jash got very little offense as he was overshadowed by the performance of OMURA.

− The match was brought to an end when OMURA hit Jash with his Crazy Buster through the table that he had set up outside.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Winner: OMURA via pinfall(Crazy Buster) in  11:45

As soon as the match ended, Tiger started walking in the ring with a mic in his hand.
http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/TigerSingh_zps4d02b955.jpghttp://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-d9d9d9-l.png
Well, well, well. How dare you?? How dare you punish your body like this?? This is a gift from god and it is our responsibility to take care of our body. And you are abusing it, abusing the god's gift to mankind. That's utterly wrong and i have come here to take care of it. You see, i am the ultimate disciple of God and he has sent me here to stop you from destroying the almighty's creation.
− Tiger Singh took full advantage of OMURA's tiredness as he put him through various painful stretches.

− OMURA's resilience came into fore as he showed his own peace of mind by absorbing Tiger's punishment and dishing his own.

− With Tiger slowly climbing up the ladder to retrieve the flag after dispersing OMURA with a Delhi Driver, he failed to grab the Indian flag as the rope was swinging a lot.

− Having got some time to recover, OMURA climbed up as well and after winning the exchange of punches with Tiger, he crazy bustered the Indian from the top rung.

− He crashed and burned as well but his body being immune to such kind of hurt having suffered such kind of moves day in and day out, he managed to get up and finally climbed up the ladder to retrieve the Japanese flag and win the Asia Pacific Masters.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Winner: OMURA via retrieval of flag in 13:18

Good first show. Although I called the winner (about the only thing I did call right ), I wasn't expecting you to push Tiger Singh quite as hard as you did, but then, that's an oversight on my part. Singh's got a lot going for him, in fact he's probably the second best diamond in the rough amongst the new workers added in the last update.

Anyway, solid promo from Singh and it's good to see he'll be back in the mix again before long.

With the success of Asia Pacific Masters, now we move onto our 2nd tournament, the European Masters. The format is the same. Quarter finals are normal matches, semis are Falls Count Anywhere and Final is the Patriots War.

EUROPEAN MASTERS

Participants

Name: Daniel James
Age: 27(7 year pro)
Style: Technician
Size: Middleweight

Bio: Born on the mean streets of Croydon, South London, "The Wrestling Mod" Daniel James is a decent all-rounder whose ring style has been hugely influenced by his namesake Daniel Hart. Slightly unorthodox in his refusal to even consider aerial attacks, James is very much a stiff European technician in the ring and that style certainly helps him stand out in the United States where he has been based since mid 2011.

In December, James applied for the first series of Become A Star and although he failed to make the cut, the Londoner has announced that this 'minor setback' won't stop him from becoming a major star in the sport.
Name: Newton Cambridge
Age: 21(1 year pro)
Style: Cruiserweight
Size: Lightweight

Bio: Newton Cambridge is a polymath, a genius that excels at mathematics, astrophysics, biology, chemistry and, believe it or not, sculpture. At least, that's the gimmick of US-based English professional wrestler Adam Reed, the very first trainee of wrestling superstar Scott Hart. While Scott Hart and the rest of the Hart Foundation portray very serious characters, Cambridge has always been a fan of a more character-based approach to wrestling. That didn't stop him from applying himself in training, however, and while he is far from the finished article, Cambridge has clearly benefitted from his time with Hart.

Although he intends his primary role within wrestling to be as Cambridge, Reed has also wrestled a couple of shows under his real name, and as Adam Hart.
Name: Paul Crowley
Age: 28(8 year pro)
Style: Regular Wrestler
Size: Lightweight

Bio: "Prince" Paul Crowley is a wrestler from Wigan in England. Whilst most people would immediately consider him to be practiced in the old school, European style, Crowley is actually a good looking, speedy youngster that spent two years in the UPJ Junior division with his partner Ebi Kadivar as the Ambassador's Club. Crowley did well with the experienced roster, but unfortunately he and his partner saw themselves unemployed after the DIASPORA exodus, when they chose not to defect but were still fired as a result of the disinterest in the division.

Crowley is not as spectacular as his partner but does have a good ring presence and has the time to improve. It seems likely the Ambassador's Club won't sit on the unemployment line for too long.

Name: Mitch Mulconry
Age: 29(8 year pro)
Style: Brawler
Size: Light Heavyweight

Bio: Mitch Mulconry is one third of the FBI, the Full Blooded Irishmen. The dynamic trio have worked for a number of promotions and done well everywhere they have been, but in the past few years have settled in PWSUX. Mitch is a solid hand, and can brawl with the best in the company, always making sure their leader Rory O'Connor is protected.

Mitch has a untapped charisma, that if he can bring his mic skills up to par, could turn him into a star, and his devastating second rope backbreaker, the "Make Mine a Double", looks awesome.

Name: Mike Santorelli
Age: 27(5 year pro)
Style: Entertainer
Size: Middleweight

Bio: Coming to you straight from 'The North Shore' bro, "All Night" Mike Santorelli is everything you hate in a human being. Unless of course, you share in his choice of lifestyle. While many would expect Santorelli to be no more than an opening comedy act, he does have a fair amount of talent between the ropes, and matched with his effervescent charisma, he's a handful for many an opponent.

In late 2011 Mike Santorelli entered the Become A Star competition, making it through to the second round before being eliminated.

Name: Edouard DuBois
Age: 20(Rookie Year)
Style: Technician
Size: Lightweight

Bio: Unsurprisingly, French-born professional wrestler Edouard DuBois often finds himself compared to his country's best known wrestling export Jean-Claude Giroux. Many commentators in his home country have gone as far to label the youngster as the 'next Giroux' despite having only just debuted on the European independent scene. A former amateur wrestling standout, DuBois won a silver medal at the 2012 Olympic Games before turning his hand to professional wrestling training six months later.

Although much smaller than Giroux, DuBois has a fantastic look but will need to work on his ring psychology and charisma if he is ever going to match his more famous compatriot.

Name: Bear Rusev
Age: 29(9 Year Pro)
Style: Puroresu
Size: Big Heavyweight

Bio: Bear Rusev is a big Bulgarian-American brawler named after the legendary Bulgarian boxer Alexsandr Rusev. A former strongman, a one-time boxer and a man with one of the hardest punches in the business, Rusev cuts a formidable figure in the ring. As one might expect, Rusev's game is almost entirely strike-based, and against technical wrestlers his shortcomings become glaringly apparent.

Outside of the ring, Rusev is a chess afficionado and was once one of the finest young players in the United States.

Name: Rhyno Khan
Age: 23(Rookie Year)
Style: Brawler
Size: Heavyweight

Bio: Trained by Ram Diablo in Canada, the monstrous Rhyno Khan (real name Dale Richey) has excellent pedigree as he looks to enter the wrestling industry in 2013. Like his mentor, Khan is tough, powerful and a good hardcore wrestler. While his basics and psychology will need some work if he is to become as widely known as Diablo, Khan has enough about him to have attracted attention from the likes of LETHAL Steel, PWSUX and his local promotion Canadian Hardcore.

In addition to his Rhyno Khan moniker, Richey wrestled a couple of try-outs as Khanage, and unstoppable warrior from 'the East'.

<p>Rhyno Khan being Norwegian was actually a mistake, but that doesn't really matter for this diary (at least he's making an appearance!) <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/AaronCoker_zpse9fc1714.jpghttp://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-d9d9d9-l.png

Hello everybody, we are coming to you live from Club Azgard in Santa Fe and another night of sizzling action awaits us.

Yes Coker, INSPIRE marches on with their second and penultimate tournament offering in 2 months tonight where the best of Europe collides to determine the European Master and hold the bragging rights.

And after that intro, we go straight away to hype job as Paul Crowley is shown doing his stretches and preparing for the night. As one of the front runners for the tournament, he is in top shape and looks the part of the Prince as he claims.

http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/PaulCrowley_zpsb05bdece.jpg
− A good match to start the night with. Paul displayed his technical prowess and even Newton Cambridge diplayed his skills and showed why he was one of the first trainees of Scot Hart.

− Going toe to toe with Paul, he also mixed some aerial manouvres posing problems for his opponent but Paul steadied the ship when he dodged out of an armbar attempt by Newton and locked an armbar of his own.

− Seguing it into Prince Lock brought the win for Paul.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Winner: Paul Crowley via submission(Prince Lock) in 11:37

Yup his Prince Lock has defeated bigger foes before and it looking like he will notch up some more conquests tonight.
http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/AaronCoker_zpse9fc1714.jpghttp://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-d9d9d9-l.png
But up next, a real clash of titans as two behemoths fight each other. The Bulgarian powerhouse Rusev takes on the Norwegian monster Khan.
A real battle of animals as the Bear takes on Rhyno. And we have a video for you to show the demolition that these two can cause.

http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/BearRusev_zps5c6686ad.jpg
http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/RhynoKhan_zpsba170a52.jpg

An intriguing video by our production department really put into fore the dangerous nature of thee two competitors. The video started with Bear Rusev being shown demolishing people in bars of Bulgaria interspersed with images of Grizzly bears tearing other animals.

The image cut through another scene where we see a figure head butting scores of armed men. The image zooms in to reveal Khan. In the same way, his image is interspersed with a rhyno knocking out other animals.

The video ends with the two behemoths clashing their heads with the background image of their namesake animals in their ferocious form.
− Inspite of the size of these two, they worked pretty well together and unlike similar bouts elsewhere, this match was exciting to watch.

− Some major moments include a top rope splash from Bear and a diving headbutt from Rhyno.

− The match came to an end when having come on top of his punching contest with Rhyno, Rusev took him down befroe executing another Bear Splash before locking in his Bear Trap for the win.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Winner: Bear Rusev via submission(Bear Trap) in 11:50

http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/AaronCoker_zpse9fc1714.jpghttp://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-d9d9d9-l.png
Bear comes out the victor but this is not the end of this feud, i strongly believe. Rhyno will come back before long to avenge his loss and to show us who is the better big man of the two.
− Edouard DuBois showed signs of genius and of course justified the label of "Next Giroux" which his countrymen had given him after Jean Claude Giroux. Taking the fight to his opponent, his amateur wrestling background came into light as he executed a variety of takedowns and suplexes.

− Daniel only had a single gameplan, to bring Edouard on the ground for his submission attempt, a naive but effective plan which finally paid off when Daniel managed to get his Quadraphonic Leglock(Figure Four) on Edouard.

−  DuBois got out of the first attempt but Daniel kept the pressure on and finally with the second leglock, he took the win.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Winner: Daniel James via submission(Quadraphonic LegLock) in 10:40

− A literal showcase for Mitch as the Italian was no match for him. Showing his immense experience and wrestling knowledge, Mitch just manhandled Santorelli, even incorporating occassional judo throws.

− A devastating Make Mine A Double ended this match with Mike hardly getting any offense.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Winner: Mitch Mulconry via pinfall(Make Mine A Double) in 8:19

http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/AaronCoker_zpse9fc1714.jpghttp://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-d9d9d9-l.png
Mitch manhandling Mike there and in turn booking his place in the semis. On the basis of that performance, he should be a top contender tonight.
Mitch have always been my favorite. His rugged brawling style and his never say die attitude had impressed me ever since the day he came to this industry. So, i will put my money on him to win it all.
http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/AaronCoker_zpse9fc1714.jpghttp://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-d9d9d9-l.png
Now we know, who is the biggest fan of the Full Bloodied Irishman. Mitch, if you win, you ought to buy my colleague a drink. So, our semis are all lined up with the first one pitting Paul against Bear Rusev. This might be the hardest test that Paul have come across. Hell, Rusev might be the toughest competitor in all of INSPIRE.
− Bear Rusev started the match on a high gear looking to finish early. This time enjoying the size advantage, he showered Crowley with strikes and chops.

− With Rusev overpowering him at every point, Paul changed his tactics and started aerial attacks and with repeated dropkicks, managed to bring Rusev down.

− First attempt at Prince Lock didn't materialise as Rusev overpowered him once again but a corner splash attempt of Rusev was dodged by Paul which bought him some time.

− A knee drive on the face of Rusev knocked him out and finally Paul locked his Prince Lock for the win.

− The stipulations of this match did not really matter as all the action was restricted to the ring.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Winner: Paul Crowley via submission(Prince Lock) in 11:50

− Another long squash match for Mitch. He exceled in the hardcore stipulations of this match hurting Daniel with plethora of chairs, garbage cans and other assorted weapons.

− Two successive Make Mine A Double on Daniel brought his misery to an end and highlighted the arrogance of Mulconry.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Winner: Mitch Mulconry via pinfall(Make Mine A Double) in 8:55

Both have carved out different path to the finals but now that they are here may the best man win, i mean Mitch by that by the way.
− The match had high emotions. Seen as the war between England and Ireland, it lived upto the billing.

− Mitch once again used the stipulation to his advantage using variety of weapons on Crowley.

− Crowley thoug was resilient and had enough in him to stop Mitch everytime he went up the ladder.

− A single con-chair-to attempt by Mitch  was ducked and Paul dropkicked the chair onto Mitch's face.

− He neckbreakered Mitch onto the chair as well which gave him a clear position though Mitch foiled his attempt.

− Finally Paul wrapped a chair onto Mitch's leg and Prince Locked him with a grapevine which took out his leg.

− The only thing remaining for Paul was to climb up the ladder and retireve the flag and he did that.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Winner: Paul Crowley via retrieval of flag in 14:29

Our tournaments end with the biggest and the baddest of them all, North American Masters where we determine the rest of the members of each division.

NORTH AMERICAN MASTERS

Participants

http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/T-verse%20People/Ares_zps6d790042.jpg
Name:  "The God of War" Ares
Age: 32(14 year pro)
Style: Regular Wrestler
Size: Heavyweight

Bio: Ares is a native of Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan, and is unbelievably tough. Despite his short frame, Ares weighs in at 270 pounds and can throw men overhead at a moments notice with explosive suplexes. Street smart and animalistic, thanks to his pure aggression Ares was one of the first stars in PWSUX, despite not being overtly hardcore in nature. A falling out with owner Derrick Moore over Moore’s breaching of a verbal agreement, Ares left the company in 2007, and moved to LETHAL in Japan. While never competing in the most hardcore bouts the company had to offer, Ares again gained a following purely down to his unstoppable barrage and explosiveness. In 2010, finding himself limited by the product, Ares headed back to the United States.

Ares was reportedly offered a contract by the AWF in 2011 but turned it down on the basis that he knew his limited charisma would mean he would always remain a midcard attraction. After becoming head booker of GWS , he would achieve both critical and commercial success as a booker as well as a wrestler but a falling out with his owners led to his exit. And now, he has started his own company with INSPIRE and hopes to see the glory days again.
http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/CurtisWindham_alt3_MH_zps9c7bb266.jpg
Name: Curtis Windham
Age: 19(1 year pro)
Style: Regular Wrestler
Size: Middleweight

Bio: Curtis Windham is the youngest son of iconic wrestler-turned-manager Owen Money. Graduating just months after older sibling Teddy, Curtis Windham is much more like his father than his brother in both style and size. A good looking kid, Curtis has great potential as a clean cut babyface and his team with brother Teddy has already begun to look like it could be a winning combination in the right hands.

Like his brother, Curtis Windham graduated from the AWF School of Wrestling.
http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/MarcusFranklin_zpsea3e920b.jpg
Name: "The Future" Marcus Franklin
Age: 26(2 year pro)
Style: Technician
Size: Light Heavyweight

Bio: "Future" Marcus Franklin is perhaps one of the purest athletes to ever step foot into a professional wrestling ring. Standing at 6'2" and weighing a stacked 240 pounds, Franklin is one of the most driven individuals in his field. This can be evidenced by his time as an amateur wrestler, winning the NCAA Wrestling Division I championship for his state of Indiana an unprecedented 5 years running. His team-mates named him "The Natural", and he only lost 3 times in amateur competition.

Marcus had the opportunity to head to the Olympics to wrestle for his team, but the athletic youngster hungered for life outside of amateur sports, and announced at the end of 2011 that he would enter the professional ranks beginning in January 2012. Whilst amateur advocates balked at the idea that such a talent would lower himself to a fake sport, many professional wrestling fans are waiting to see what he can achieve with huge anticipation.
http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/TrentVictor_zpse2613d9a.jpg
Name: Trent Victor
Age: 28(10 year pro)
Style: Cruiserweight
Size: Lightweight

Bio: Trent Victor is a cruiserweight from Manhattan who has been wrestling on the East Coast independent scene since 2003. A decent all-rounder, Victor isn't likely to set the industry alight but he has so far carved out a strong career for himself as one of the scene's most consistent performers.

Outside of the ring, Victor runs his own chain of laundromats across New York City.

http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/JamesonSpear_zpsfe26696f.jpg
Name:  "Destiny" Jameson Spear
Age: 28(4 year pro)
Style: Regular Wrestler
Size: Light Heavyweight

Bio: "Destiny" Jameson Spear is a young wrestler who, since 2009, has been wrestling as a egotistical heel in the Seattle Wrestling Alliance. Spear's major upside is his look, but unfortunately his major downside is his ring ability. Still, if Les Gotch can keep Spear's attention for long enough to teach him a few moves, Jameson might become a serviceable midcarder in a bigger promotion.
http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/PierreLejosne_zps54f241ba.jpg
Name: Pierre Lejosne
Age: 21(1 year pro)
Style: Regular Wrestler
Size: Middleweight

Bio: Pierre Lejosne is one of five sons of Canadian wrestler The Magnificent Mountie and the eldest to enter professional wrestling. Like his father, Pierre is an excellent technician - despite his lack of professional experience - but Pierre also has an excellent look and good charisma. With the potential to be one of the finest wrestlers of his generation, promotions across Canada and the United States are watching Pierre Lejosne's progress very careful indeed.
http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/ShaunReed_zps5e4e9304.jpg
Name: Shaun Reed
Age: 29(5 year pro)
Style: Brawler
Size: Light Heavyweight

Bio: Shaun Reed is a young wrestler from Canada who is hoping to make a name for himself in the United States. Having had a decent couple of years in Canada, Reed decided to leave his home behind and moved to Los Angeles in the hopes of being signed by the AWF. That hasn't happened in the 18 months since the move, but he has continued his impressive progress while performing the odd show across America.
http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o566/kanegan/TEW/Inspire/ShawnImpact_zps438d8375.jpg
Name: "The Historian" Shawn Impact
Age: 23(3 year pro)
Style: Technician
Size: Middleweight

Bio: "The Historian" Shawn Impact is a Canadian wrestler from Vancouver who wrestles a very, very traditional style. Featuring stiff strikes, rest holds and snap suplexes, Impact would have fit perfectly on the Canadian scene at its height in the 1970s, but in today's game he is often seen as being a little slow and a little too methodical. Still, in 2012, after 2 years in his home country, Impact set his sights south of the border and wrestled his first match in the United States in October of that year in a one-off match for Chicago-based POW.

A very solid hand in the ring, if Impact can inject a bit of spark, of excitement, into his wrestling then he may well develop into a top wrestling talent.
