Many wrestlers have fought under the hood of the mysterious Midnight Rider, but the man currently beneath the mask is journeyman wrestler and former RAWA enhancement talent George North. I read the first few posts and noticed it is supposed to be a stand alone mod but is anyone going to combine this with the original version at all so we can have one whole world mod or will that be left up to us users?</p><p> </p><p>

I know personally I'd really love it and I am sure others out there would too but just wasn't sure if that was even a possibility. The vibe I have got from what I have read is that it won't be done and the user is left to do it on their own. That is all... sorry if this has been asked and answered already.</p>

One is not planned at the moment. There will certainly be crossover, and workers from Classic will appear in ROTW and workers created especially for ROTW will, at some point, appear in Classic.

 

The thing is, the ROTW mod is made to be fun, and playable. Unfortunately, Classic wasn't designed for those areas to be fun and playable (which is why they were never added). That's really why they won't be combined.

It's not that difficult to combine the two really (we've combined then split apart the mod a couple of times). All you really need to know is the ROTW rosters at the game start and everything else should import over (I think somewhere in this thread I mentioned the order to do it in).

 

The problem with combining them and releasing them, even with the caveats mentioned previously, is that in effect it makes them one mod. I can't see many people downloading both separately when a combined version is realised, but both are designed to be played separately. That's the only reason, really.

As mentioned in the post before your reply, it is very easy to combine the two mods (it's easier to add this to Classic for what it's worth), but that's not really the point. The point of this mod is that it covers four other areas of the world, and it does so very, very well.</p><p> </p><p> By the way, the only time relationships don't carry across is when you import new characters into an existing save game.</p>

Nothing, it'll just not import him at all and you'll get a note at the bottom of the window saying something along the lines of "Mr Hawaii could not be imported as the name is already in use". If, for example, MJ had teamed up Mr Hawaii with a new ROTW-only character, then the tag team record would import fine too (assuming you'd already imported his partner).</p><p> </p><p> If you mean how do they crossover, they will be free agents available to hire.</p>
