Pre-Show: Mickie James versus Tamina

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Mickie James defeated Tamina in 18:17 by pinfall with a Mickie-DT. Unfortunately this match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved with the former WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James only recently having returned to Friday Night SmackDown. It will take some of the younger members of the WWE Universe some time to get to know Mickie. Nevertheless, Mickie picks up the all-important victory here.

Pre-Show: R-Truth and Christian versus Dean Ambrose and Kane

The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker take up their positions at ringside prior to this tag team match taking place which sees the aggressive team of Ambrose and Kane get the win after Ambrose pins R-Truth following his finishing maneuver, the Dirty Deeds, much to the dislike of the WWE Universe in attendance who were fully behind Truth and Christian.

Match Rating: C-

Friday Night SmackDown kicks off with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar making his way to the ring, accompanied by his in-ring mentor Billy Gunn. Lesnar receives a decent ovation from the WWE Universe in attendance as Billy Gunn takes a microphone from the ringside area. Billy Gunn says that this is only his client’s second week on SmackDown and already there is a new General Manager after the former General Manager of SmackDown Hornswoggle was last night revealed to be the new General Manager of 205 Live. Billy Gunn says that not only does Brock not yet know who the new General Manager is, but he also has to face John Cena tonight in SmackDown’s non-title main event and doesn’t even know who he will be putting his title on the line against this Sunday at the Payback Pay-Per-View. Billy Gunn says that if these questions are not answered to Brock Lesnar’s satisfaction tonight then Brock Lesnar will have no problem ripping up his SmackDown contract and going back to Monday Night RAW and the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, and taking the World Heavyweight Championship with him. Dean Ambrose then comes to the entrance-way with a microphone in hand and says that he doesn’t know who the new General Manager is but he does know that Lesnar will be putting the World title on the line this Sunday in a Fatal Four-Way match, and that one of the three challengers will be Ambrose.

Rating: B-

Rating: E-

The Uso’s versus Prime Time Players

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, The Uso's defeated Prime Time Players in 8:03 when Jey Uso defeated Titus O'Neil by pinfall with an Alley-Us. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team note that Jimmy and Jey will be one of the three teams in the Triple Threat WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships match this Sunday at Payback, but that we don’t yet know the identity of the other two teams.

Match Rating: C-

As Jimmy and Jey celebrate in the ring Heath Slater comes to the ring and says that he can now officially announce that his partner in the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships match this Sunday will be Rhyno. Bray Wyatt then comes to the entrance-way and shocks the WWE Universe by saying that he will also be in the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships match this Sunday, and his partner will be Randy Orton.

Rating: D-

Following a commercial break John Cena makes his way to the ring to a mixed reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance. Cena takes a microphone and says that after almost ten months under the reign of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero on Monday Night RAW, it’s great to be home on Friday Night SmackDown. Cena says that not only will he beat Brock Lesnar in tonight’s non-title main event, but that he will also join Dean Ambrose in the Fatal Four-Way match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday. Cena then looks stunned as Seth Rollins comes to the entrance-way with a microphone in hand. Rollins says that he is also here on SmackDown and will be the final participant in the WWE World title match this Sunday.

Rating: C+

Non-Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz versus Jason Jordan

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, The Miz defeated Jason Jordan in 7:48 by pinfall with a Skull Crushing Finale. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team note that Miz will be putting his title on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan this Sunday.

Match Rating: D+

Following his victory the Miz shows off his WWE Intercontinental Championship to the WWE Universe in attendance before leaving and heading to the back. Jason Jordan then takes a microphone and says that after another loss he needs to prove to himself that he has what it takes and he belongs here. He challenges any Superstar to a match this Sunday at Payback. Kane then comes to the ring, smiles and says he accepts the challenge before hitting Jason Jordan with a devastating Tombstone Piledriver.

Rating: E+

Antonio Cesaro versus Konnor

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Antonio Cesaro defeated Konnor in 6:47 by pinfall with a Very European Uppercut. British legend Robbie Brookside accompanied Cesaro to the ring.

Match Rating: C-

We cut backstage following a commercial break to find Jason Jordan looking in a bad way after suffering the Tombstone Piledriver from Kane earlier when he is jumped by Konnor, who seems angry after his loss moments ago. Viktor and Dolph Ziggler soon join in on the assault before Damien Sandow and Stardust come to Jordan’s aid. Antonio Cesaro and Tyson Kidd walk past and Kidd suggests they join in with the attack of Konnor whilst Cesaro instead decides to join Stardust and Sandow in helping Jordan. The attackers eventually run off whilst Tyson Kidd says that if Cesaro wants to help others then their tag team is over, and Kidd will see him in the ring this Sunday at Payback. Cesaro accepts the challenge.

Rating: D-

Ryback versus CJ Parker

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Ryback defeated CJ Parker in 6:43 by pinfall with a Suplex Powerslam. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team note that we still don’t know who the new General Manager is.

Match Rating: C-

We cut backstage to find Becky Lynch applying fake tan when Eva Marie comes into the room and tells Becky to leave. Becky says that she will go wherever she wants, and Eva Marie announces that she is the new General Manager of SmackDown and Becky will do whatever Eva tells her. Eva Marie then slaps Becky Lynch who cannot fight back against her new boss.

Rating: F

Non-Title: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar versus John Cena

In a bout that featured great action and great heat from the audience, Brock Lesnar defeated John Cena in 17:47 by submission with a Kimura Lock. There were times when there was a definite lack of psychology on display and the match had a tendency to drift a little.

The following contests are confirmed to take place at tonight’s WWE Payback Pay-Per-View:

WWE World Championship: Brock Lesnar © vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins vs. John Cena

The main event of tonight’s Payback Pay-Per-View will see the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line as Brock Lesnar will defend his title in a Fatal Four-Way match against Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and John Cena. Brock Lesnar is the first ever and only two-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion since the former WWE and World Championships were unified last December. Lesnar’s current title reign began back in March on Monday Night RAW when he defeated the former Champion CM Punk in a Triple Threat match also involving Kane. Since then Lesnar has made five successful title defences, the most recent of those two weeks ago on Friday Night SmackDown. All four of these Superstars will be doing anything to pick up the all-important victory and leave with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tonight.

WWE Universal Championship: Xavier Woods versus Kevin Owens

After Brock Lesnar took the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to Friday Night SmackDown a few weeks ago, Monday Night RAW was left without a World title. The Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero has therefore introduced the Universal Championship and the first ever Universal Champion will be decided tonight as two Superstars who have yet to hold a title of any kind in the WWE, Xavier Woods and Kevin Owens, will battle to become the first Universal Champion.

WWE SmackDown Tag Team Titles: Uso’s vs. Heath Slater & Rhyno vs. Bray Wyatt & Randy Orton

In a shake-up announced by the WWE’s Chief Operating Officer Triple H earlier this month, Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston took the WWE Tag Team titles to Monday Night RAW, so Friday Night SmackDown will also have their own tag team titles and the first ever WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions will be decided tonight in a Triple Threat tag team match as Jimmy and Jey Uso will take on both Heath Slater and Rhyno as well as the intriguing and shocking pairing of Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton. The WWE Universe in attendance tonight will likely be fully behind the former two-time WWE Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey as the other two teams are teaming up for the first time tonight, with Heath Slater spending weeks and searching far and wide for a partner before finally finding the “Man Beast” Rhyno.

WWE RAW Tag Team Titles: Big E Langston & Kofi Kingston © versus Roman Reigns & William Regal

The WWE RAW Tag Team Championships will be on the line tonight as Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston will put their titles on the line against Roman Reigns and William Regal, two-thirds of the Shield. The other Shield member, Seth Rollins, has moved to Friday Night SmackDown and will of course be challenging for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in tonight’s main event. This will be Big E and Kofi’s second title defence since winning the titles back on Friday Night SmackDown from Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro last month.

WWE United States Championship: Sheamus © versus Alexander Rusev versus Shinsuke Nakamura

The “Celtic Warrior” Sheamus will put his WWE United States Championship on the line tonight ia Triple Threat match with a certain international flavor about it as his opponents will be the “Bulgarian Brute” Rusev and the Japanese Superstar making his much-anticipated WWE debut tonight, Shinsuke Nakamura.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: The Miz © versus Daniel Bryan versus Dolph Ziggler

Earlier this month at the No Way Out Pay-Per-View the Miz defended his Intercontinental Championship against Daniel Bryan only to hit Daniel Bryan in the skull with the title belt, getting himself disqualified to remain the Intercontinental Champion. There will be no disqualifications possible tonight when Miz will put the title in the line in a Triple Threat match against Bryan and Dolph Ziggler.

Antonio Cesaro versus Tyson Kidd

Antonio Cesaro and Tyson Kidd were the WWE Tag Team Champions just last month but their friendship came to an end this past week on Friday Night SmackDown when Cesaro refused to join Kidd in assaulting Jason Jordan. Tonight these two former partners will go one on one.

Jason Jordan versus Kane

Last week on Friday Night SmackDown following a loss to the Miz, Jason Jordan challenged anybody on the roster to a match tonight at Payback. Kane would then come to the ring and accept the challenge before dropping Jordan with a Tombstone Piledriver.

WWE Women’s Championship: Naomi versus Becky Lynch versus Alexa Bliss versus Rain

Tonight will see the return of the WWE Women’s Championship as four of the two Women’s competitors on Friday Night SmackDown, Naomi, Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss and Rain, will face off in a Fatal Four-Way match to determine the new WWE Women’s Champion. The former Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle brought back the Women’s Championship after all of the controversy regarding the Divas Championship during Nikki Bella’s reign.

WWE Divas Championship: Sasha Banks © versus Raquel Diaz

Sasha Banks will put her WWE Divas Championship on the line tonight against Raquel Diaz, with some feeling that Raquel Diaz has only got this match due to being the daughter of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero.

Bayley versus Audrey Marie

Finally, Bayley will take on Audrey Marie tonight with both Divas knowing that a victory could well see them in line for a future shot at the WWE Divas Championship. This match was announced earlier today via a tweet sent out from Vickie Guerrero.

Quick Picks:

WWE World Championship: Brock Lesnar © vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins vs. John Cena

WWE Universal Championship: Xavier Woods versus Kevin Owens

WWE SmackDown Tag Team Titles: Uso’s vs. Heath Slater & Rhyno vs. Bray Wyatt & Randy Orton

WWE RAW Tag Team Titles: Big E Langston & Kofi Kingston © versus Roman Reigns & William Regal

WWE United States Championship: Sheamus © versus Alexander Rusev versus Shinsuke Nakamura

(Terry Taylor would seriously consider either turning Alberto Del Rio or trying a new gimmick as he has become a stale character and needs a shake-up.)

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

WWE Universal Championship: Kevin Owens © versus Brock Lesnar

A chaotic twenty-four hours within the WWE Universe will come to ahead tonight on Monday Night RAW as Kevin Owens will put his newly won WWE Universal Championship on the line against Brock Lesnar. Last night at the Payback Pay-Per-View Kevin Owens defeated Xavier Woods to become the first ever WWE Universal Champion, and later on in the evening’s main event Brock Lesnar lost the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the Fatal Four-Way match with Dean Ambrose, John Cena and Seth Rollins after Rollins pinned Ambrose to walk away as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Rumors have been running rampant all day that Lesnar was furious that he lost the WWE World title without even being in the ring as he was brawling on the outside of the ring with Cena at the time, and Lesnar refused to ever work for Friday Night SmackDown’s new General Manager Eva Marie ever again. A tweet was then sent out from the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero earlier today announcing that not only has Lesnar resigned to RAW but that tonight he will take on Kevin Owens for the WWE Universal Championship. An angry Lesnar awaits Owens tonight, is there anything Owens can do to pick up the all-important victory and remain the Universal Champion?

WWE RAW Tag Team Titles: Big E Langston & Kofi Kingston © vs. Roman Reigns & William Regal

In a night of title matches, Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston will defend their WWE Tag Team Championships tonight against Roman Reigns and William Regal in a rematch from last night’s Payback Pay-Per-View when Big E and Kofi beat Reigns and Regal to make their second successful title defence since winning the titles last month. With the third member of the Shield, Seth Rollins, now the World Champion on SmackDown, can Reigns and Regal win tag team gold tonight?

WWE Intercontinental Championship: The Miz © versus Alberto Del Rio versus Dean Ambrose

Last night at Payback the WWE United States Champion Sheamus told the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero that he would be taking the US title to Friday Night SmackDown, so Vickie Guerrero has offered the Miz a huge contract and tonight the Miz will put his WWE Intercontinental title on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Alberto Del Rio and Dean Ambrose.

WWE United Kingdom Championship: Tyler Bate versus Danny Burch

The WWE’s Chief Operating Officer Triple H along with his assistant Shawn Michaels last night announced the creation of the WWE United Kingdom Championship and the first ever UK Champion will be decided tonight on Monday Night RAW as Tyler Bate, in his WWE debut, will take on Danny Burch.

Zack Ryder versus Kane

Another new arrival from Friday Night SmackDown, Kane, will be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will take on Zack Ryder. Kane looked dangerous in victory last night after he beat Jason Jordan.

WWE Divas Championship: Sasha Banks © versus Bayley versus Raquel Diaz

Finally, last night at Payback Sasha Banks defeated Raquel Diaz to retain the Divas title whilst Bayley beat Audrey Marie in singles competition. Tonight on Monday Night RAW Sasha Banks will put her Divas title on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Bayley and Raquel Diaz.

Quick Picks:

WWE Universal Championship: Kevin Owens © versus Brock Lesnar

WWE RAW Tag Team Titles: Big E Langston & Kofi Kingston © vs. Roman Reigns & William Regal

WWE Intercontinental Championship: The Miz © versus Alberto Del Rio versus Dean Ambrose

WWE United Kingdom Championship: Tyler Bate versus Danny Burch

Zack Ryder versus Kane

WWE Divas Championship: Sasha Banks © versus Bayley versus Raquel Diaz

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month.)

WWE Monday Night RAW (Live from MassMutual Center (MA) 6,354 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Mia Yim versus Kharma

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Mia Yim defeated Kharma in 18:01 by submission with a Guillotine Choke. Unfortunately this match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved with the WWE Universe yet to really care about either of these Divas despite both of them having made several appearances on Monday Night RAW over the past year. Nevertheless, it’s the Asian Diva, Mia Yim that picks up the all-important victory here.

Match Rating: E-

Pre-Show: Xavier Woods and Richie Steamboat versus Jack Swagger and Tensai

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Woods & Steamboat defeated Swagger & Tensai in 17:44 when Xavier Woods defeated Jack Swagger by pinfall with a Lost in the Woods. The Monday Night RAW commentary team of Michael Cole, Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler take up their positions at ringside prior to this tag team match getting underway that sees Xavier Woods return to tag team action after losing the Universal Championship match last night.

Match Rating: D+

Pre-Show: Rob Van Dam versus Matt Morgan

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Matt Morgan defeated Rob Van Dam in 18:04 by pinfall with a Carbon Footprint. The Monday Night RAW commentary team sit at ringside for this match which sees Matt Morgan victorious.

Match Rating: C

Monday Night RAW kicks off with the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar making his way to the ring to a tremendous ovation from the WWE Universe in attendance. Lesnar is on his own tonight and is not accompanied to the ring by his in-ring mentor Billy Gunn. Lesnar retrieves a microphone from Monday Night RAW and says that he has some things to get off his chest. Lesnar says that he never wanted to move to Friday Night SmackDown earlier this month but was willing to fulfil his duties as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Then, last week after Hornswoggle became the new General Manager of 205 Live, Eva Marie was appointed the new SmackDown General Manager. Lesnar says that Eva Marie has no experience in this business and dared to put Lesnar in a Fatal Four-Way match last night at Payback where he lost his WWE World Heavyweight Championship to Seth Rollins after Rollins pinned Dean Ambrose without Brock ever being in the ring. Lesnar says that thankfully the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero has given him a lot of money to return to RAW and that in tonight’s main event he will beat Kevin Owens to become the new WWE Universal Championship. Kevin Owens then rushes to the ring and strikes Lesnar in the skull with the Universal Championship title belt. Owens picks up the microphone and says that he worked his whole life to get to this moment and won’t let Lesnar take it away from him tonight.

Rating: C+

WWE Divas Championship: Sasha Banks © versus Bayley versus Raquel Diaz

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Bayley defeated Sasha Banks and Raquel Diaz in 8:11 when Bayley defeated Raquel Diaz by submission. Bayley wins the WWE Divas title. The commentary team note that this is Bayley’s first ever Championship win and ends the reign of Sasha Banks after only a few weeks but note that Sasha wasn’t the one who tapped out.

Match Rating: E

We cut backstage to find Mia Yim watching Bayley celebrating her Divas Championship win on a monitor, and it would appear that Mia Yim would love to be the first to get a shot at Bayley’s newly won title.

Rating: F-

Following a commercial break we find someone standing in the rafters, looking like the Crow of WCW. The man unveils his hood to reveal the Godfather, and he has a microphone in hand. The Godfather says that he is here to watch the Intercontinental title match later on tonight and hopes that Dean Ambrose doesn’t hurt himself.

Rating: D-

WWE RAW Tag Team Titles: Big E Langston & Kofi Kingston © vs. Roman Reigns & William Regal

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Big E & Kofi defeated Reigns & Regal in 8:29 when Big E Langston defeated William Regal by pinfall with a Big Ending. Big E & Kofi make defence number 3 of their WWE RAW Tag Team titles. William Regal is starting to become a little stale in his current role with many members of the WWE Universe feeling that the Shield of Regal, Reigns and Rollins is essentially over with Seth Rollins now being the WWE Champion on SmackDown.

Match Rating: C-

We cut backstage to find Sami Zayn in the office of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and asking for a tag team title shot with his partner Fatsuhiko Nakajima. Luke Gallows then walks into the room and tells Vickie that he has a partner of his own and that he will debut next week.

Rating: D-

WWE United Kingdom Championship: Tyler Bate versus Danny Burch

In an absolutely wretched bout that was devoid of action or heat, Tyler Bate defeated Danny Burch in 6:08 by pinfall. Tyler Bate wins the WWE United Kingdom title. Tyler Bate didn’t seem to have a gimmick which confused the WWE Universe in attendance.

Match Rating: F

Following the match Tyler Bate celebrates with the UK title before he is attacked by an envious Danny Burch. Soon Alexander Rusev, Jack Swagger and Tensai storm to the ring and join in the assault of Tyler Bate until Xavier Woods and the WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Big E and Kofi Kingston come to the ring to make the save.

Rating: E+

We cut backstage to find Dean Ambrose talking to Alberto Del Rio. Ambrose says that not only are he and Del Rio opponents tonight, but that they will also both be in the Money in the Bank ladder match next month. Ambrose suggests that they work together in both matches. Del Rio says that he is his own man before walking away.

Rating: D

WWE Intercontinental Championship: The Miz © versus Alberto Del Rio versus Dean Ambrose

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Dean Ambrose defeated The Miz and Alberto Del Rio in 7:48 when Dean Ambrose defeated Alberto Del Rio by pinfall with a Headlock Driver. Dean Ambrose wins the WWE Intercontinental title. The Monday Night RAW commentary team note that all three of these Superstars will also be in the RAW Money in the Bank ladder match next month.

Match Rating: C-

Following his victory Dean Ambrose takes a microphone and says that he is now the Intercontinental Champion and he will add to his collection next month when he wins the RAW Money in the Bank ladder match.

Rating: D

Zack Ryder versus Kane

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Kane defeated Zack Ryder in 8:05 by pinfall with a Chokeslam. The Monday Night RAW commentary team announce that the winner of this match will also be in the Money in the Bank ladder match so Kane will now join Ambrose, Miz and Del Rio with two other Superstars still to be announced.

Match Rating: D+

We see Brock Lesnar doing final preparations for tonight’s WWE Universal Championship match when Roman Reigns walks into the room. Brock Lesnar says that he knows why Reigns is here and that promises that after he wins the title tonight, he will give Reigns the first title shot at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View.

Rating: B

WWE Universal Championship: Kevin Owens © versus Brock Lesnar

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Brock Lesnar defeated Kevin Owens in 17:50 by submission with a Kimura Lock. Brock Lesnar wins the WWE Universal title. There were times when there was a definite lack of psychology on display and the match had a tendency to drift a little.

Match Rating: B-

Post-Show: Brodus Clay versus Kassius Ohno

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Kassius Ohno defeated Brodus Clay in 13:20 by pinfall with a Hangman's Elbow. Alex Riley accompanied his tag team partner Brodus to ringside. The RAW commentary team also stay at ringside to watch this one.

Match Rating: E

Post-Show: Santino Marella versus Jinder Mahal

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Jinder Mahal defeated Santino Marella in 13:12 by pinfall with a Karachi Valley Driver. The commentary team also stay at ringside to watch Jinder Mahal victorious here.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE 205 Live:

WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Rich Swann versus Adrian Neville

Last week saw the first ever episode of 205 Live where Hornswoggle, the last WWE Cruiserweight Champion before the title was retired back in 2007, informed the WWE Universe that he had left his prestigious position as General Manager of Friday Night SmackDown to become the General Manager of 205 Live. This past Sunday at the Payback Pay-Per-View, in an interview conducted by Matt Striker and Joey Styles, Hornswoggle announced that he has signed the British Ambition tag team of Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey to compete exclusively on 205 Live. Tonight in 205 Live’s main event the first ever WWE Cruiserweight Champion of the new 205 Live era will be decided as Adrian Neville will take on Rich Swann, making his WWE debut tonight. Due to his inspiring life story, Rich Swann is sure to be a Fan Favourite here on 205 Live. Rich Swann lost both of his parents at a young age and could have gone down a dark path, but instead he focused on achieving his dream to make it to the WWE. Tonight, in Rich Swann’s debut match, he has the chance to become the WWE Cruiserweight Champion. Adrian Neville, from Newcastle, England, is a Cocky Superstar who knows how good he is in the ring and wants to tell everybody about it. Following a spell competing in front of the NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena on NXT, Adrian Neville made his WWE Monday Night RAW debut back in March in a losing effort against Chris Jericho. Who will pick up the all-important victory tonight and leave as the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion?

Chad Gable versus Chavo Guerrero

Last week saw the first ever episode of 205 Live and in the only match of the evening Chavo Guerrero, a former five-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion, defeated another former Cruiserweight Champion in Tajiri. Earlier on in the evening last week Chavo Guerrero had offended some members of the WWE Universe by saying that he is better than his uncle, the late, great WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero. Tonight on 205 Live Chavo Guerrero will be back in action again, this time against the debuting Chad Gable. In his rookie year of professional wrestling and competing in his first ever match tonight; Chad Gable represented the USA at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Since then Chad Gable has been training in Mexico and sees himself as a bit of a Classic Tecnico, employing the Lucha Libre style in the ring. Chavo Guerrero of course knows all about the style of Mexico and will be looking to channel his inner Latino Heat tonight to pick up the win. Chavo may also be disappointed that he was not selected to be in tonight’s Cruiserweight title match considering he was victorious last week and may have a point to prove against Chad Gable.

WWE 205 Live (Live from Adair County Fair (IA), 1,134 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Tajiri versus Oliver Grey

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Tajiri defeated Oliver Grey in 18:13 by pinfall with a Buzzsaw Kick. Unfortunately this match was too long given who was involved with large numbers of the WWE Universe in attendance not really knowing who Oliver Grey is. The British Oliver Grey’s opponent tonight, Tajiri, was more popular being a former WWE Cruiserweight Champion and having made his return to Monday Night RAW earlier this year. It is ultimately the veteran Tajiri that picks up the all-important victory here after hitting Oliver Grey with one of his trademark kicks. Oliver Grey then slowly heads to the back whilst Tajiri celebrates in front of the WWE Universe in attendance before also making his way to the back.

Match Rating: E+

205 Live kicks off with the 205 Live commentary team of Scott Stanford, John “Bradshaw” Layfield and former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Billy Kidman welcoming the television audience to this evening’s show. They announce that the main event of tonight’s show will see a new WWE Cruiserweight Champion crowned as newcomer Rich Swann will take on Adrian Neville for the title. Ricardo Rodriguez, the former personal ring announcer of Alberto Del Rio, then comes to the ring with a microphone in hand. Rodriguez receives a mixed reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance, some of who wonder what he is doing here. Rodriguez then says that he is the personal ring announcer and manager of the tag team British Ambition, Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey. Rodriguez introduces his clients and the British Ambition pairing of Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey then make their way to the ring. Neville takes the microphone from Rodriguez and says that some of these peasants in attendance may have seen Neville and Oliver Grey compete individually over the past few years in front of the NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena on NXT. Neville then says that others may have seen Adrian Neville compete against Chris Jericho back in March on Monday Night RAW. Neville says that after years of being wasted by those in power, the NXT General Manager Jim Cornette and the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, finally somebody has seen sense. Neville says that the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle may well be an all-round joke of a man but he at least saw the sense to bring Neville and Grey to 205 Live, and tonight Neville has the chance to become the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion when he takes on Rich Swann in tonight’s main event for the vacant title. Neville continues by saying that whilst Neville has competed all over the world, Rich Swann has never competed on NXT, Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown and as far as he is concerned is a nobody that Hornswoggle has just picked up from the street. Neville says that he probably couldn’t even pick Rich Swann out of a line up and says that nothing will stop him from leaving tonight as the Cruiserweight Champion, and the new King of the Cruiserweights. Neville, Grey and Ricardo Rodriguez then head to the back with a Cocky swagger as we cut to our first commercial break of the evening.

Rating: E-

Chad Gable versus Chavo Guerrero

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Chad Gable defeated Chavo Guerrero in 11:50 by submission. Making his debut tonight, the former team member of the USA in the 2012 Olympic Games Chad Gable receives a great reaction from the WWE Universe as he makes his way to the ring. His opponent Chavo Guerrero receives a less favorable reaction. As the action gets underway, Chad Gable competes like a luchador and has clearly been training in the Lucha Libre style as he competes like a Classic Tecnico. The 205 Live commentary team of Scott Stanford, John “Bradshaw” Layfield and Billy Kidman all seem both surprised and impressed by the athleticism and performance of Chad Gable against the former Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero, a Superstar with years of experience competing on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown behind him. Ultimately Chad Gable makes Chavo Guerrero tap out here to get the win in his debut match.

Match Rating: D-

We cut backstage to find Adrian Neville preparing for tonight’s WWE Cruiserweight Championship main event match when a man walks up to Adrian Neville and introduces himself as Rich Swann. Adrian Neville says that it’s good to see the man he will make humble tonight face to face for the first time. Rich Swann says that the WWE Universe may not know Rich Swann’s name right now, but that after tonight’s main event he will be a Fan Favourite and the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion.

Rating: F+

Following a commercial break the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle makes his way to the ring to a tremendous ovation from the WWE Universe in attendance. Hornswoggle says that he would like to introduce a Superstar that may have lost last week to Chavo Guerrero but somebody who has had years in this business and has earnt everyone’s respect, Tajiri. The Japanese Superstar Tajiri then comes to the ring and bows at Hornswoggle.

Rating: E-

As the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle and Tajiri shake hands in the ring, an unfamiliar music hits the arena and TJ Perkins makes his way to the ring. TJ Perkins says that it’s an honour to meet two former Cruiserweight Champions in Hornswoggle and Tajiri and requests the chance to team with Tajiri next week to take on the British Ambition pairing of Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey. Hornswoggle says he’ll think about it.

Rating: E+

WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Rich Swann versus Adrian Neville

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Adrian Neville defeated Rich Swann in 14:10 by pinfall with a Corkscrew Shooting Star Press. Adrian Neville wins the WWE Cruiserweight title. Adrian Neville seemed off his game tonight but was still able to leave as the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

Non-Title: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins versus Damien Sandow

This past Sunday at the Payback Pay-Per-View Seth Rollins won the Fatal Four-Way main event match with Brock Lesnar, John Cena and Dean Ambrose to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion after Rollins pinned Dean Ambrose whilst Brock Lesnar and John Cena were brawling on the outside of the ring. This is Seth Rollins’ first ever reign as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, ending the reign of Brock Lesnar that began on an episode of Monday Night RAW back in March. Following losing his title without even being in the ring, Brock Lesnar was very angry with the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie and signed a contract with Monday Night RAW’s Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, with Lesnar defeating Kevin Owens to become the new WWE Universal Champion this past week on RAW. Tonight on Friday Night SmackDown the new WWE Champion Seth Rollins will be in non-title action against Damien Sandow, with Sandow looking to pick up the all-important victory over the new Champion Rollins to gain the attention of the WWE Universe.

Non-Title: WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Uso’s versus Prime Time Players

Jimmy and Jey Uso won a Triple Threat tag team elimination match this past Sunday at Payback against the New Wyatt Family of Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton as well as the team of Heath Slater and Rhyno to become the first ever WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Following their win, Jimmy and Jey took a pair of clippers from ringside and shaved Bray Wyatt completely bald. Tonight on SmackDown Jimmy and Jey will take on the Prime Time Players pairing of Darren Young and Titus O’Neil in non-title action.

WWE United States Championship: Sheamus © versus Kevin Owens

At Payback this past Sunday both Sheamus and Kevin Owens were members of the Monday Night RAW with Sheamus telling the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero that he would be bringing the US title to Friday Night SmackDown. Kevin Owens revealed earlier this week on Twitter that he has also joined SmackDown after losing the Universal title to Brock Lesnar this past week on RAW. Tonight Kevin Owens will challenge Sheamus for the United States Championship.

Stardust versus John Cena

John Cena failed in his attempts to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion this past Sunday at Payback and tonight on Friday Night SmackDown Cena will take on Stardust with both Superstars looking to impress the WWE Universe with a victory.

R-Truth versus Wade Barrett

The former five-time WWE Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett will be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as he will take on R-Truth with both Superstars looking to impress the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown! (Live from Cumberland Crown Coliseum (NC), 5,763 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Kelly Kelly versus Tamina

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Tamina defeated Kelly Kelly in 17:40 by pinfall with a Samoan Drop. Unfortunately this match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved despite Kelly being a former WWE Divas Champion. It would appear that the WWE Universe don’t really care about either of these Women even though they have both been competing on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown for a few years now. Nevertheless, Tamina picks up the all-important victory here.

Match Rating: E-

Pre-Show: The Great Khali and Colt Cabana vs. The New Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton)

In a match that had some good action and average heat, The New Wyatt Family defeated The Great Cabana in 18:19 when Randy Orton defeated The Great Khali by pinfall with an RKO. The Great Khali was visibly tiring towards the end of this match which led to the New Wyatt Family of Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton focusing their offense on Khali for the majority of the match before Orton finally won the match for his team after hitting Khali with an RKO.

Match Rating: C

Pre-Show: Christian versus Rhyno

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Rhyno defeated Christian in 18:29 by pinfall with a Piledriver. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker take up their positions at ringside prior to this match taking place.

Match Rating: C

Friday Night SmackDown kicks off with Damien Sandow making his way to the ring to a mixed reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance. Once in the ring Sandow takes a microphone from the ringside area and says that in tonight’s main event he will take on the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins in a non-title match. Sandow says that although he wasn’t on the card this past Sunday at Payback, he watched very closely as Seth Rollins defeated Dean Ambrose, John Cena and the former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar in a Fatal Four-Way match to become the new Champion. Sandow says that two weeks ago on SmackDown he himself challenged for the WWE Championship in a Triple Threat match against Dean Ambrose and then-Champion Brock Lesnar, but he was unsuccessful. Sandow says that this doesn’t mean that Seth Rollins is better than him, as Rollins didn’t even pin the WWE Champion Brock Lesnar to win the title. Sandow says that tonight sees the start of his resurgence on SmackDown, and that he also has some big news from the SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie. Sandow announces that at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View Sandow will join Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton in challenging Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a Fatal Four-Way match. Just then, Randy Orton rushes to the ring and hits Sandow with an RKO out of nowhere before Orton stands over the fallen Sandow as the WWE Universe boo.

Rating: D+

Non-Title: WWE Women’s Champion Naomi versus Portia Perez

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Naomi defeated Portia Perez in 5:47 by pinfall with a Nightmare. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team note that this is Naomi’s first match since winning the Women’s title this past Sunday.

Match Rating: D-

Following her victory Naomi celebrates in front of the WWE Universe, holding her WWE Women’s Championship above her head. That is until Rain rushes to the ring and kicks Naomi in the back of the head from behind.

Rating: E-

Non-Title: WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Uso’s versus Prime Time Players

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, The Uso's defeated Prime Time Players in 7:56 when Jey Uso defeated Darren Young by pinfall with an Alley-Us. Darren Young could use something to freshen his character up as the WWE Universe don’t seem interested at all whenever Darren Young is in the ring in this match. The new WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions get the win here.

Match Rating: C

We cut backstage to find Antonio Cesaro doing some stretches until he is approached by Dolph Ziggler, who says that he’s just heard that Cesaro has been selected to compete in the SmackDown Money in the Bank ladder match but that Ziggler has been overlooked. Ziggler acts like a complete Dork, telling Cesaro a list of facts about Ziggler’s accomplishments including winning the Royal Rumble match earlier this year before Ziggler angrily walks away.

Rating: B-

WWE United States Championship: Sheamus © versus Kevin Owens

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Kevin Owens defeated Sheamus in 12:24 by submission with a Sharpshooter. Kevin Owens wins the WWE United States title. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team announce that both of these Superstars will join Cesaro in the SmackDown Money in the Bank ladder match.

Match Rating: D+

We cut backstage to find the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins in the office of the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie, and Rollins seems to be flirting with Eva to try to get out of the Fatal Four-Way title defence at Money in the Bank, but Eva Marie is not interested and asks Rollins to leave her office.

Rating: D+

We cut to another backstage area to find Damien Sandow preparing for tonight’s main event when the lights go out and Bray Wyatt walks into the room. Wyatt is now bald and looks terrifying, but Sandow says that he does not fear the dark and walks away.

Rating: D

R-Truth versus Wade Barrett

In a match that had some good action and average heat, R-Truth defeated Wade Barrett in 6:51 by pinfall with a What's Up? The commentary team note that Barrett’s career has gone downhill since losing the Intercontinental title.

Match Rating: D+

We cut backstage to find Damien Sandow looking straight into a camera, and he says that in tonight’s main event he will beat the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, proving that he is deserving of being in the title match at Money in the Bank and proving all of the naysayers wrong once and for all.

Rating: D

Stardust versus John Cena

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, John Cena defeated Stardust in 7:45 by submission with an STF. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team agree that Cena bounced back well tonight after failing to win the WWE title this past Sunday at Payback.

Match Rating: C

(Steve Lombardi would seriously consider either turning John Cena or trying a new gimmick as he has become a stale character and needs a shake-up.)

We cut backstage to find the now former United States Champion Sheamus talking to Hailey Hatred. Sheamus tells Hailey Hatred that he may have lost the US title tonight but that he will win the SmackDown Money in the Bank ladder match.

Rating: D

Sheamus begins to ask Hailey Hatred what she’s doing later when out of nowhere the new US Champion Kevin Owens hits Sheamus across the skull with the US title belt. Kevin Owens then grabs a ladder and drops it on top of the fallen Sheamus. Hailey Hatred runs off in fear as Owens declares that he will be the one to win the SmackDown Money in the Bank ladder match.

Rating: C

Non-Title: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins versus Damien Sandow

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Seth Rollins defeated Damien Sandow in 15:40 by pinfall with a Phoenix Splash. Damien Sandow seemed off his game tonight, perhaps after the RKO from Randy Orton earlier in the evening.

Match Rating: B-

Post-Show: Justin Gabriel versus Tyson Kidd

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Tyson Kidd defeated Justin Gabriel in 13:23 by pinfall with a Blockbuster. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team remain at ringside to watch this one.

Non-Title: WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar versus William Regal

Last week on Monday Night RAW Brock Lesnar made his return, quickly declaring that he was unwilling to work for the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie. In his first match back, the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero gave Lesnar a shot at the WWE Universal Championship, the title that Kevin Owens won just the night before at the Payback Pay-Per-View. Moments before last week’s main event, Brock Lesnar promised Roman Reigns a shot at the WWE Universal Championship at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View should Lesnar beat Kevin Owens to win the title last week. In the main event last week Brock Lesnar beat Kevin Owens to become the new WWE Universal Champion, with Kevin Owens going on to join SmackDown last week. In tonight’s non-title main event Brock Lesnar will take on William Regal, the fellow Shield member and tag team partner of Roman Reigns. WWE RAW Tag Team Titles: Big & Langston & Kofi Kingston © vs. Danny Burch & Troy McClain

Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston will put their WWE RAW Tag Team Championships on the line tonight on Monday Night RAW against the team of Danny Burch and Troy McClain. 250px-WWE205OfficialRender.png

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE 205 Live:

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey versus Tajiri and TJ Perkins

The main event of last week’s edition of WWE 205 Live saw history made as Adrian Neville defeated Rich Swann to become the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion, and the first Champion of the 205 Live era. The main event of tonight’s 205 Live will see Adrian Neville team up with his British Ambition tag team partner, Oliver Grey, to take on the team of Tajiri and TJ Perkins. Last week on 205 Live the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle brought out Tajiri for the WWE Universe in attendance to pay respect to the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Tajiri. TJ Perkins then joined Hornswoggle and Tajiri in the ring and said that it was an honour to be in the ring with two former Cruiserweight Champions and asked for the opportunity to team up with Tajiri to take on the British Ambition pairing of Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey. Hornswoggle duly announced on Twitter earlier this week that the match has been made official and TJ Perkins will get his chance to team up with Tajiri for the very first time. A win for Tajiri and TJ Perkins tonight over the new Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville could well lead to them getting a future title opportunity but in order to do that Tajiri and Perkins will have to work together to pick up the all-important victory.

Rich Swann versus Epico

Last week on 205 Live Rich Swann failed in his attempts to win the WWE Cruiserweight Championship as Adrian Neville beat Swann in the main event to become the new Cruiserweight Champion. Tonight on 205 Live Rich Swann will have another chance to impress the WWE Universe as well as the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle when he will take on the former WWE Tag Team Champion Epico. Along with his cousin Primo, Epico has years of experience competing on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown but was last in action on SmackDown back in March and will look to reinvent himself on 205 Live with a new start.

Chad Gable versus Chavo Guerrero

Last week’s episode of 205 Live saw the in-ring debut of the former USA Olympian Chad Gable as he took on Chavo Guerrero. In a monumental upset, Chad Gable was also able to score the victory after impressing the WWE Universe with his Lucha Libre-inspired in-ring style. Tonight Chavo Guerrero has requested a rematch with Chad Gable and the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle has granted it. Chavo will try to use his years of experience competing on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown to get the win over Gable tonight.

Quick Picks:

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey versus Tajiri and TJ Perkins

Rich Swann versus Epico

Chad Gable versus Chavo Guerrero

WWE 205 Live (Live from Du Burns Arena (MD), 650 in Attendance)

Tonight’s edition of WWE 205 Live begins with the 205 Live commentary team of Scott Stanford, John “Bradshaw” Layfield and the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Billy Kidman welcoming the live television audience to tonight’s show. They announce that in tonight’s main event we will see the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville team with Oliver Grey to take on the team of Tajiri and TJ Perkins. Ricardo Rodriguez then once again makes his way to the ring to a largely negative reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance. Once in the ring Rodriguez retrieves a microphone from the ringside area and introduces his clients, the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville and the perfectly sculpted Oliver Grey, collectively known as British Ambition. Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey then make their way to the ring, with Adrian Neville proudly holding his WWE Cruiserweight Championship up in the air. Once in the ring Neville and Grey shake hands with Rodriguez who passes Neville the microphone. Neville says that last week on 205 Live he proved that he is the King of the Cruiserweights when he defeated the peasant Rich Swann to become the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion. Neville continues that he was overlooked by the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, and he was even overlooked by Hornswoggle when he was the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager, but Hornswoggle can overlook Neville no more as he stands here as the new Cruiserweight Champion. Neville says that tonight the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle has put him and Grey in a tag team match against Tajiri and TJ Perkins. Neville says that in the main event he and Oliver Grey will make Tajiri and TJ wish that they had never stepped in the ring with the team of British Ambition. Neville says that tonight’s main event will be so easy that he is already looking ahead to the future, and demands to know who his first challenger will be before the end of the evening. Neville, Grey and Ricardo Rodriguez then head to the back together as 205 Live heads to its first commercial break of the evening.

Chad Gable versus Chavo Guerrero

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Chad Gable defeated Chavo Guerrero in 8:25 by submission. The 205 Live commentary team of Scott Stanford, John “Bradshaw” Layfield and Billy Kidman welcome us back following the commercial break as Chad Gable makes his way to the ring to a decent reception from the WWE Universe in attendance inside this intimate venue tonight. His opponent Chavo Guerrero then comes to the ring to a mixed reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance. Chavo Guerrero is of course well known for having spent years competing on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown and is the nephew of the RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Chad Gable and Chavo Guerrero have pretty good chemistry as opponents, and it lifted this match. Ultimately, Chad Gable picks up the all-important victory for the second week in a row here after forcing Chavo to tap out.

Match Rating: D

Following another commercial break we cut backstage to find Tajiri and TJ Perkins preparing for tonight’s 205 Live tag team main event when they will take on the British Ambition pairing of the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville and his partner Oliver Grey. Tajiri asks TJ Perkins if he’s ready for tonight, his first ever match on 205 Live and in front of millions of members of the WWE Universe watching on television all around the world. TJ Perkins said that last week when he was standing in the ring with two former Cruiserweight Champions in Tajiri and the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle, he knew that all of the years competing on the independent scene were worth it to be here tonight. TJ Perkins says that with a legend Tajiri by his side, he knows he can beat both the Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville and the sidekick Oliver Grey and by the end of the night may even be named as the Number One Contender to the Cruiserweight Championship. Tajiri tells TJ Perkins that he agrees that their team will win tonight, but that Tajiri will be the one named as the Number One Contender before the night is out.

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Rich Swann defeated Epico in 7:42 by pinfall with a Tornado Spin Kick. The little man in a bull costume known as El Torito accompanied Epico to ringside for this match but it is Rich Swann who gets the win here as he once again impresses the WWE Universe in attendance.

Following his victory Rich Swann celebrates in front of the WWE Universe before making his way to the back. Epico is consoled in the ring by El Torito until his cousin Primo joins them. Primo grabs a microphone from the ringside area and says that he and Epico are former WWE Tag Team Champions and that they should be respected by losers like Rich Swann who got lucky tonight and demands that the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle treats them like the stars that they are.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

Non-Title: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins versus John Cena

The main event of tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was announced earlier today via a tweet sent out from the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie and will see the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins take on John Cena in non-title action. It was last month at the WWE Payback Pay-Per-View when the WWE Universe witnessed Seth Rollins become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion for the very first time and we learned last week on SmackDown that at the upcoming Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View Rollins will put his title on the line for the very first time in a Fatal Four-Way match against Damien Sandow, Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton. Rollins was able to defeat Sandow last week in SmackDown’s non-title main event whilst his opponent tonight, John Cena, also returned to winning ways with an all-important victory over Stardust. Despite having no relatives in the business and still being at a young age, Rollins has all of the confidence of a Second Generation Star having been the first ever NXT Champion as well as the one to end the Undertaker’s legendary undefeated streak at Wrestlemania.

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions The Uso’s versus Prime Time Players

Tag team action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see the WWE Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso take on the Prime Time Players pairing of Darren Young and Titus O’Neil. Jimmy sees himself as the Knight of the family whilst Jey continues the Island Warrior heritage for the WWE Tag Team Champions. Tonight will be the third week in a row that these two teams have faced one another with Jimmy and Jey having been victorious in the previous two occasions.

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Kevin Owens versus Christian

Last week on Friday Night SmackDown Kevin Owens defeated Sheamus on his first night back on SmackDown following losing the WWE Universal Championship on Monday Night RAW. In the process of beating Sheamus, Kevin Owens became the new WWE United States Champion. Tonight Owens will face Christian in non-title action.

Sheamus versus Goldust

As aforementioned, Sheamus lost his WWE United States Championship to Kevin Owens last week on Friday Night SmackDown and was attacked by Owens backstage later on in the evening. With both Kevin Owens and Sheamus being participants in the SmackDown Money in the Bank ladder match later this month, Sheamus will look to build momentum tonight as he takes on Goldust.

R-Truth versus Drew McIntyre

Tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see the return to the WWE Universe of Drew McIntyre, who we last saw with a hood on his head acting like a Druid back in May on Monday Night RAW. McIntyre will hope to have a career resurgence on SmackDown and he begins tonight with a match against R-Truth.

Non-Title: WWE Women’s Champion Naomi versus Portia Perez

At the Payback Pay-Per-View last month Naomi won a Fatal Four-Way match to become the new WWE Women’s Champion, and the athletic Dancer Naomi will be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown in a non-title match against Portia Perez.

Quick Picks:

Non-Title: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins versus John Cena

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions The Uso’s versus Prime Time Players

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Kevin Owens versus Christian

Sheamus versus Goldust

R-Truth versus Drew McIntyre

Friday Night SmackDown kicks off with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins making his way to the ring to a chorus of boos from the WWE Universe in attendance. Once in the ring Rollins retrieves a microphone from the ringside area and says that last week the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie refused to change the WWE Championship match at Money in the Bank so Rollins will have to put his title on the line in a Fatal Four-Way match against Damien Sandow, Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton. Rollins confidently says that he isn’t in the slightest bit worried about Damien Sandow after beating him in last week’s non-title main event but that the New Wyatt Family of Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton scare him a little bit. John Cena then joins Seth Rollins in the ring and receives a mixed reaction from those in attendance as Cena grabs the microphone from Rollins and says that Rollins shouldn’t be worried about the Wyatts, he should be worried about facing John Cena in tonight’s non-title main event.

In a match that had some good action and average heat, The Uso's defeated Prime Time Players in 8:02 when Jey Uso defeated Darren Young by pinfall with a Samoan Spike. Match Rating: D+

Goldust comes to the ring to a mixed reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance. Goldust says that for too long he has tried to please and entertain these people, and that tonight he will show a more destructive side when he takes on Sheamus next.

Non-Title: Champ vs. Champ: WWE Universal Champ Brock Lesnar vs. WWE IC Champ Dean Ambrose

The main event of tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW will see a Champion versus Champion match as the WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will take on the WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose. This will be a non-title match so neither title will be on the line. The Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero has certainly awarded the WWE Universe with a great main event tonight and the unpredictable Dean Ambrose will no doubt do all he can to try to pick up the all-important victory over the “Beast” Brock Lesnar, who may or may not have his in-ring mentor Billy Gunn at his side. At the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View later this month Brock Lesnar will put his WWE Universal Championship on the line against Roman Reigns whilst Ambrose will compete in the RAW Money in the Bank ladder match.

WWE RAW Tag Team Titles: Big E Langston & Kofi Kingston © vs. Resurrection (Luke Gallows & ???)

Two weeks ago on Monday Night RAW Luke Gallows made his return to the WWE Universe, and entered the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero’s office, telling her that he had a tag team partner that would be here in one week. Last week on RAW Gallows would come to the ring to tell the WWE Universe that there had been a slight delay and that his partner would be here in another week. Tonight Luke Gallows has confirmed that he and his mystery partner will both be here and will challenge Big E and Kofi Kingston for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships.

Batista versus Kassius Ohno

Tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW will also feature the return of Batista as he will take on Kassius Ohno. Batista is a Band Member and hasn’t been seen on RAW since May as he has apparently been touring with his band.

CM Punk versus Curt Hawkins

Another former World Champion, CM Punk, will also make his in-ring return to Monday Night RAW tonight to take on Curt Hawkins. CM Punk is a Clubber and although he doesn’t drink he has apparently been on the party scene since his last match on RAW back in May.

WWE Divas Champion Bayley and Alexa Bliss versus Raquel Diaz and Audrey Marie

Finally, Divas tag team action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the WWE Diva Champion Bayley team up with Alexa Bliss to take on the team of Raquel Diaz and Audrey Marie. WWE Monday Night RAW (Live from Edith Kanaka’ole Stadium (HI) 5,000 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Nikki Bella versus Beth Phoenix

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Nikki Bella defeated Beth Phoenix in 18:17 by pinfall with a Twin Magic. Nikki Bella and Beth Phoenix just don’t click at all as opponents, and unfortunately it showed in their respective performances here. Ultimately it was Nikki Bella who picked up the all-important victory here but in controversial fashion as whilst Beth Phoenix was complaining to the referee following a two count, Brie Bella switched places with her sister Nikki before rolling Beth Phoenix up to get the win.

Match Rating: E-

Pre-Show: Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Jack Swagger and Tensai

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Swagger & Tensai defeated Brodus & Riley in 18:25 when Tensai defeated Brodus Clay by pinfall with a Swagger Bomb. Tensai was visibly tiring towards the end of this match which led to the much younger and smaller Jack Swagger doing most of the heavy lifting for his team including coming into the ring and hitting Brodus Clay with an incredible Swagger bomb before Tensai crawled in to get the pinfall victory.

Match Rating: C-

Pre-Show: Rob Van Dam versus Kenny King

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Rob Van Dam defeated Kenny King in 18:26 by pinfall with a Five Star Frog Splash. The Monday Night RAW commentary team of Michael Cole, Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler took up their positions at ringside prior to this one getting underway.

Match Rating: C-

Monday Night RAW kicks off with the WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar making his way to the ring. Lesnar is alone tonight and receives a great reception from the WWE Universe in attendance as Lesnar takes a microphone from the ringside area. Lesnar says that his in-ring mentor Billy Gunn isn’t with him tonight because he has some things to get off his chest again. Lesnar says that at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View later this month he will beat Roman Reigns to retain the Universal title. Lesnar continues by saying that he’s grateful that the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero has put him in a non-title Champion versus Champion match with Dean Ambrose tonight, as not only is Ambrose the reigning Intercontinental Champion but he’s also a former United States Champion and exactly the kind of competition that Brock wants. Alberto Del Rio then joins Lesnar in the ring and once again tells Brock that Del Rio will win the RAW Money in the Bank ladder match and go on to become the new WWE Universal Champion. As Lesnar and Del Rio stare one another down Roman Reigns and William Regal come to the entrance-way, and Regal has a microphone in hand. Regal says that all three Shield members will be holding onto something by the time Money in the Bank comes to a close.

Rating: C

WWE Divas Champion Bayley and Alexa Bliss versus Raquel Diaz and Audrey Marie

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Bayley and Alexa Bliss defeated Raquel Diaz and Audrey Marie in 6:22 when Alexa Bliss defeated Audrey Marie by pinfall. The legendary Road Dogg accompanied Alexa Bliss to ringside for this tag team match, much to the delight of the WWE Universe in attendance. Road Dogg offered vocal support throughout the match which led to Alexa pinning Audrey Marie to get the win for her team.

Match Rating: F+

Alexa Bliss and Road Dogg stare at Bayley and the WWE Divas Championship before leaving Bayley to celebrate in front of the WWE Universe, only for Raquel Diaz to once again attack Bayley from behind until Sasha Banks rushes to the ring to make the save.

Rating: F

WWE RAW Tag Team Titles: Big E & Kofi Kingston © vs. Resurrection (Luke Gallows & Matt Hardy)

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Resurrection defeated Big E & Kofi in 11:45 when Matt Hardy defeated Big E Langston by pinfall with a Twist of Fate. Resurrection win the WWE RAW Tag Team titles. The WWE Universe are shocked to see Matt Hardy return as the tag team partner of Luke Gallows. Matt Hardy acts like a Degenerate throughout the entire match before winning the match and titles for his team after hitting Big E with a Twist of Fate.

Match Rating: D+

250px-WWE205OfficialRender.png

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE 205 Live:

Non-Title: WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville versus Tajiri

Last week’s episode of WWE 205 Live began with Ricardo Rodriguez in the ring introducing his clients to the WWE Universe, and the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville and his British Ambition tag team partner Oliver Grey made their way to the ring. Adrian Neville demanded to know who his first challenger would be, and demanded to know the answer from the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle by the end of the evening. In last week’s 205 Live main event, Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey defeated the team of Tajiri and TJ Perkins. Whilst celebrating their victory with Rodriguez in the ring, Neville and Grey would be interrupted by the General Manager Hornswoggle who came to the entrance-way and announced that Neville will put the Cruiserweight Championship on the line at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View later this month against the former multiple-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rey Mysterio. Whilst Adrian Neville must be looking forward to Rey Mysterio and Money in the Bank, Neville must first take on Tajiri in singles competition in tonight’s non-title main event. Although Neville was able to pin Tajiri in last week’s tag team main event, the Martial Artist Tajiri will be doing all he can to knock out Neville and pick up the all-important victory against Neville tonight which could lead to Tajiri getting a future title opportunity somewhere down the line. Adrian Neville showed last week just how Cocky he is and he will likely be confident that he can beat Tajiri tonight as well as overcome Rey Mysterio at Money in the Bank to remain the WWE Cruiserweight Champion.

Rich Swann versus Simon Gotch

Rich Swann will be back in action tonight on 205 Live as he will take on the debuting Simon Gotch. Not much is known about Simon Gotch, although he did compete inside the NXT Arena last month under the name Ryan Drago in a loss to Steven Walters at NXT’s Passing the Torch live special. Simon Gotch failed to impress the NXT Universe last month and will be hoping for much more luck tonight against the impressive Rich Swann.

TJ Perkins versus Noam Dar

Finally, another WWE 205 Live debut will take place tonight as Noam Dar, Israeli by birth but having been brought up in Scotland, will take on TJ Perkins. Both of these Superstars will be doing all they can to impress the WWE Universe tonight as well as the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle. TJ Perkins has certainly become a Fan Favourite in his short time on 205 Live and just last week teamed up with one of his idols Tajiri in the evening’s main event as the pair lost to the Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey.

Quick Picks:

Non-Title: WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville versus Tajiri

Rich Swann versus Simon Gotch

TJ Perkins versus Noam Dar

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month.)

WWE 205 Live (Live from Afook-Chinen Auditorium (HI), 1,000 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Chad Gable versus Primo

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Chad Gable defeated Primo in 18:23 by submission. Unfortunately Chad Gable and Primo don’t seem to click as opponents and it made for an awkward bout here. Nevertheless, Chad Gable was still able to pick up the all-important victory here after the former Olympian forced the former WWE Tag Team Champion Primo to tap out. The WWE Universe continue to be impressed by Chad Gable.

Tonight’s edition of WWE 205 Live kicks off with the 205 Live commentary team of Scott Stanford, John “Bradshaw” Layfield and the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Billy Kidman welcoming the live television audience to this evening’s show and noting that tonight’s main event will see the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville in non-title action against Tajiri. Ricardo Rodriguez then makes his way to the ring to a chorus of boos from the WWE Universe in attendance. Rodriguez takes a microphone from the ringside area and says that he would like to introduce his clients, the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville and the man chiseled of pure stone, Oliver Grey, collectively known as British Ambition. The British Ambition pairing of Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey then come to the ring and Rodriguez hands his client Neville the microphone. Neville says that as the Cruiserweight Champion and King of the Cruiserweights he is pleased to welcome the peasants in attendance to his show, and reminds the WWE Universe in attendance that they paid their hard earned money to watch Neville. The Cruiserweight Champion continues by saying that in tonight’s non-title main event he will beat Tajiri, a former Cruiserweight Champion and proving that a new era of the Cruiserweights is here. Neville then notes how last week the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle announce that Neville will put his Cruiserweight Championship on the line against Rey Mysterio at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View later this month. Neville says that he doesn’t care how many titles Rey Mysterio has won in the past or how many years he has been competing on Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown. Neville says that this is a different era and just like Tajiri tonight, Rey Mysterio will learn to bow down to the King of the Cruiserweights and the star of the new era of Cruiserweights, Adrian Neville. The trio of Adrian Neville, Oliver Grey and Ricardo Rodriguez then head to the back as 205 Live cuts to its first commercial break of the evening.

TJ Perkins versus Noam Dar

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, TJ Perkins defeated Noam Dar in 9:33 by pinfall with a Jumping Neckbreaker. Following the commercial break the 205 Live commentary team of Scott Stanford, John “Bradshaw” Layfield and Billy Kidman welcome us back and we are set for in-ring action. TJ Perkins then makes his way to the ring to a great reception from the WWE Universe in attendance, followed by the debuting Noam Dar who gets a largely negative reaction from those in attendance. Unfortunately this match was too long given who was involved with the WWE Universe knowing nothing about Noam Dar yet with this being his debut match. In a back and forth contest, TJ Perkins eventually gets the victory here after hitting an impressive looking Jumping Neckbreaker as the commentary team note that the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle must surely have been impressed with Perkins’ performance tonight.

Match Rating: E+

Following another commercial break we cut backstage to find Tajiri preparing for tonight’s 205 Live non-title main event against the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville when Chad Gable walks into the room. Chad Gable tells Tajiri that he as well as the rest of the WWE Universe saw TJ Perkins team with Tajiri last week and now TJ Perkins just won a match. Chad Gable says that he too would like the opportunity to team up with the former Cruiserweight Champion Tajiri, and suggests that next week Gable and Tajiri team up to take on British Ambition. Tajiri says he’ll think about it as we cut to a commercial break.

Rating: E+

Rich Swann versus Simon Gotch

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Rich Swann defeated Simon Gotch in 7:54 by pinfall with a Chicken Fried Driver. Simon Gotch was making his 205 Live debut tonight and spent the majority of the match trying to impress John “Bradshaw” Layfield by mimicking JBL’s move set and mimicking his gestures. Simon Gotch seemed like he was auditioning for the role of Sidekick to JBL which ended up costing him the match here.

Match Rating: E-

We cut backstage to find Chavo Guerrero walking into the office of the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle, who tells Chavo that he shouldn’t worry about what has happened to Vickie Guerrero on Monday Night RAW and her position as Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor, because Chavo’s job on 205 Live is still safe. Chavo asks Hornswoggle what he’s talking about and Hornswoggle says that we will learn more next week on RAW but it looks as though Vickie is done with the WWE and has been relieved of her duties as RAW Managing Supervisor.

Rating: D-

Following a commercial break we cut backstage again to find Epico trying to open his lunch box but struggling to do so until Tajiri walks by, takes the lunch box and opens it with ease, leaving Epico looking embarrassed.

Non-Title: WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville versus Tajiri

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Adrian Neville defeated Tajiri in 11:27 by pinfall with a Shooting Star Legdrop. Ricardo Rodriguez introduced his client Adrian Neville for tonight’s 205 Live main event and cheered on Neville throughout the match which Neville won with an impressive Shooting Star Legdrop.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

Non-Title: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins versus Sheamus

The main event of tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was announced earlier today via a tweet sent out by the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie and will see the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins take on Sheamus in non-title action. The WWE Universe is sure to be in for a great main event tonight in this first-time ever one on one match between these two Superstars. At the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View later this month Seth Rollins will put the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line in a Fatal Four-Way match against Damien Sandow, Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton. Meanwhile, we learned last week on SmackDown that the final line-up for the SmackDown Money in the Bank ladder match will see Sheamus, Antonio Cesaro, the WWE United States Champion Kevin Owens, the WWE Tag Tam Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso as well as the returning Daniel Bryan compete for a chance to win the Money in the Bank contract and a guaranteed future title opportunity. An all-important victory for Sheamus tonight over the WWE Champion will build great momentum for the Irishman as he heads to Money in the Bank.

Non-Title: WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Uso’s vs. Team Gorgeous (Breeze & Madsen)

Tag team action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see the WWE Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso take on the Team Gorgeous pairing of Tyler Breeze and Knuckles Madsen in a non-title match. As aforementioned, whilst Jimmy and Jey are twin brothers and will no doubt be working together in their tag team match tonight, they will be opponents in the Money in the Bank ladder match.

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Kevin Owens versus Mark Henry

Tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown will see the return of the “World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry as he will take on the WWE United States Champion Kevin Owens in a non-title match. Owens has been on a roll as of late but this is the first time he will have ever stepped inside the ring with Mark Henry.

Antonio Cesaro versus Tyson Kidd

Before Antonio Cesaro competes in the Money in the Bank ladder match later this month he will take on his former tag team partner Tyson Kidd tonight on Friday Night SmackDown in a rematch from the Payback Pay-Per-View when Cesaro beat Kidd.

Ted DiBiase versus Goldust

Last week on Friday Night SmackDown the WWE Universe were promised a new destructive side of Goldust but the Golden One failed to beat Sheamus. Tonight Goldust will take on the returning Ted DiBiase.

Non-Title: WWE Women’s Champion Naomi versus Tamina

Finally, the WWE Women’s Champion Naomi will take on Tamina in a non-title match tonight on Friday Night SmackDown. We learned last week that Naomi will put her title on the line against Rain at Money in the Bank.

Quick Picks:

Non-Title: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins versus Sheamus

Non-Title: WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Uso’s vs. Team Gorgeous (Breeze & Madsen)

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Kevin Owens versus Mark Henry

Antonio Cesaro versus Tyson Kidd

Ted DiBiase versus Goldust

Non-Title: WWE Women’s Champion Naomi versus Tamina

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month.)
