World Wide Wrestling The following is the initial roster that I will be playing with in my game Ressurection Of The Territories World Wide Wrestling WWW beginning overness will be a 35 in Tri-State, 25 in NE and 15 in Ontario, with 10 in Great Lakes and Southeast and 0 everwhere else... In comparison the WWF (who will be our major competition in the Northeast) has a 70 in TriState, and a 50 in New England...So we will have our work cut out for us... Back Stage Workers/Road Agents Brett Hart Bob Backlund (both guys should provide solid leadership in the locker room, Backlund will serve as the WWW commisioner, and Hart will be a key component to our booking team as Backlund will as well...Hart will also serve as an announcer) Roster Main Eventers CM Punk, Paul London, Nick Dinsmore UpperMidCarders Nigel McGuinness, Chris Sabin, Austin Aries MidCarders Bobby Rude, Brent Albright, Mark Jindrak, Claudio Castagnoli Lower MidCarders Jimmy Snuka Jr., Ray Gordy Openers Mike Quackenbush, Scoot Andrews, Ken Doane, Chris Cage, Jack Bull Managers Don Callis As you can see, our roster is filled predominately with young, inexpensive talent, with potential...We are going to have our work cut out for us..but we believe with proper developement and solid booking that the WWW can make it's way to the top in the new era of professional wrestling.

It is a testament to the process that I would be interested in almost all of these promotions! Having Bob and Bret as your vets makes an enormous ammount of sense given the kind of guys on your roster. One thing I was thinking, is that it might have made sense for some promotion or other to draft Trish, but I'm sure someone will snap her up as a free agent. Overness, look and at least some ability seems like it would be appealing, though I imagine the price tag might be prohibitive to many. Finally, Raven seems to be missing from the Jarret...I mean Lawler...who are we kidding, Jarrett federation, USWA. :) Looking forward to seeing what happens

Just a quick note....Editing this game to fit the New World of Wrestling is very Time Consuming........I enjoy playing the game, so I'm going to have some fun with a D.O.T.T. game and continue to work on The Resurrection of The Territories...In fact what I think I'm going to do is one week on and one week off for my 2 games... So thanks for all who have followed along, my World Wide Wrestling will debut shortly in this diary.

Brent Albright jumps in the ring and grabs a mic and states,"Last week, I thought I gave it my all against a former WWE superstar and it just wasn't enough to get the win and I was OK with that, because I got some valuable experience against a man I respect and has made a name for himself in this business...sorta....Then I get to the back and see replays and realize that while I was choking Nick Dinsmore out..He needed to use his feet underneath the top rope for leverage to pin me...and let me remind you, this was while I was choking him out...So, Nick Dinsmore, I'm not OK now with losing to you and if you can handle taking a win like that, while you're trying to earn your good name back fine, but otherwise I know now that I can beat you and am laying down the challenge for you right now... Rating: C+ Match #1 Brent Albright vs Nick Dinsmore Our announcers go over the circumstances from last weks Dinsmore/Albright matchup...The 2 go right at with some rather aggressive amateur style wrestling...Using forearms across the face and Heads into the chins to gain leverage...Dinsmore even gets a bloody lip out of the deal...Action then escalates to next level with stiff forearms, chops and attempted submissions, of which each wrestler was able to counter out of...Dinsmore took control about 3/4 way into match but Albright got the crowd behind him and made a huge babyface comeback and got "The Club" on Dinsmore but he was right at the ropes...Albright hit a german suplex with a bridge for a near 3 count and then tried for another, but Dinsmore reversed into his own and hit the Chris Benoit 3 successive Germans for the pin on an exhausted Albright... Dange...cough...cough..I mean Jim Cornette..I can take a man to the top, make him into the sports biggest superstar thus having all those Ho's I mentioned earlier just dying to get my mans number and today I introduce to you the "Blue Print" of what a professional wrestler is supposed to look like, my newest charge...Mark Jindrak!Rating: B Match #2 Mike Quackenbush vs Mark Jindrak This match was over before it started...Callis came to the announce table to hype up his man...Referring to him as "The Blue Print"...Jindrak showed his strength with a press slam...his athleticism with ahigh drop kick and aerial abilities with a swanton bomb for the pin... Overall this Television taping should increase our popularity in New England which we wan to establish as our secong home...even though the crowd wanted more angles and interviews ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Other news from around the world Gregory Helms & James Gibson defeated "The Naturals" Andy Douglass & CHase Stevens for Georgia Championship Wrestling's National tag Team Championship Rey Mysterio & John Cena beat "MNM" Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro for the WWF Tag Team Championship...Rey Mysterio is also The Intercontinental Champion World Class put on a great show headlined by Shawn Michaels defeating Samoa Joe and retaining the WCCW Texas Title and Booker T beating Chavo Guerrero Jr. and retaining WCCW American Title in B+ matches

Very interesting shows...and please continue to keep tabs on the other elagues for us...for a regional format Chavo-Booker and HBK-Joe could be great stuff! I think "The Blue Print" was Matt Morgan, but I could be mistaken there. Oh and I loved the Punk homage to Steamboat skinning the cat - though imho perhaps someone else would be better with the belt, letting Punk chase it for a while.
Good read, but I gotta ask some questions. (Hope I didn't miss the answer in a post somewhere.) How did you do the draft, exactly? How did you pick who went where? I think it's a great idea!
Hey, thanks for reading...According to my storyline...In the new wrestling world a union was formed and a draft was set up to disperse the talent, somewhat equally...The top 6 promotions picked in the first 5 rounds...Then 6 more promotions joined them in rounds 6 through 10 and even a few more promotions joined in rounds 11-20 The way I made selections for each territory was based on Pure Talent..How I envisioned where wrestlers from today would work if terrritories still exist and then I tied in local ties, relationships, and where wrestlers were from...Then there was my NEW federation which had no history and I made my picks based on potential and with a desire to keep my costs down It was all pretty subjective, but I had fun doing it...I think I did alright with allocations..some may disagree, but its just a game world that I thought would be fun to play with

Quackenbush vs Paul London Our announcers Kevin Kelly, Lenny Leonard and Bret Hart hype up the World title tournament as the day WWW makes a splash in the wrestling world and that the man in the ring could very well be that first ever WWW champion...Hart puts over the fact that there is always pride in winning a World Title, but to be the first, will truly mean something special to the wrestler that takes it...This match just didn't click as London and Quackenbush (Surprisingly) didn't have any chemistry...London even teased a bit of a heelish turn as he was first to break the rules...resorting to the first PUNCH thrown in the match...London eventually got the pin with the "London Calling" Winner: Paul London Time: 8:35 Rating: C+ In a post match ringside interview London stated his locker room who want their @ss kicked can come on out. Rating: B Suddenly apearing at ringside was none other than Nick Dinsmore...Callis showed a little bit of concern, Jindrak looked ready...Dinsmore grabbed the mic, and stated, "Yeah I might have been retarded, but people know who I am, you on the other hand were nothing more than bland "Whatshisname" that everyone forgot about 1 second after you were fired from the old WWE...You want a warmup match, well so do I Rating: B+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TV Match #2 Chris Sabin vs Bobby Roode vs Nigel McGuinness Our announcers put over that 2 of the 3 wrestlers in tournament are in this match...Leonard pointed out that Bobby Roode very well would have to be considered a favorite to win the battle royal because of his athleticism and strength and he very well could be in tourney...Roode & Nigel teamed up to double team Sabin early but Nigel doublecrossed at started dominating Roode until Sabin made a big comeback hitting some high flying dropkicks and springboard type manuevers to get the crowd excited ...However Nigel reversed a rollup attempt by Sabin and grabbed some tights to get the pin. Time Limit Draw Time: 10:00 Rating: A As the show was going off the air and the credits were rolling we see Don Callis grab the mic and say that was an outstanding display off wrestling at told Dinsmore he could be a great guidance to him to help him prevent any more Eugene mistakes and that as a threesome we would be UNSTOPABLE!!! A closeup of Dinsmore short on breath and contemplating offer gave us no definitive answer as the show went off the air. Rating: B =============================================================================================== Overall Show Rating: B Attendance: 1,000 TV Viewers: 483 (+131 from last week) and second 1/2 had 550 News and Notes We were pleasantly surprised by the A rated Jindrak/Dinsmore match, which the crowd was really into...And equally surprised that Quack and London had no chemistry...Backlund seems very over with crowd as Commisioner...Jindrak being with Callis has helped him develope better acting and performance skills...The idea of bringing in another legend is because we need more locker room leaders and this man will serve as advisor and mentor to our young talent as well as special guest refering and being a road agent
