Just started my first "serious" (read: non-cheating) RtL game. Light-heavyweight, regular wrestler, pure athlete Gip Milnitch with generic moveset but added in gymnastics even with the extra weight.

Gip was brutalized by Austin Smooth in his debut match, but he rebounded for a win against Mad Dog Mortimer in a 3-star match. That match was exciting, got Mortimer down to 0 while Gip was around 50%, but an unrelenting barrage from Mortimer quickly made us even. Eventually took back control and blasted him with a Lariat Clothesline for the first win of his career.

Ugh, it's taking me forever to get anywhere, but at least it's somewhat entertaining.

I started my current RtL with an Entertainer-type named Jeremiah Sloane. I chose the Indy Tagging path, and my partner ended up being Austin Smooth. After one Neutral result, I decided to continue again, but made Smooth and myself a full tag team, the Smooth Rock City Slickers.

To date - September 2015 - I've done the Independent Tagging storyline twelve times, six of which were neutral results, three of which were negative, three of which were positive. I've only ever gotten the chance to move up in popularity once, because I was only ever able to string two straight successful storylines together once. I almost wish there were an option to skip straight to the end of a month after you've shit the bed on a storyline.

Regardless, I've had some awesome moments - I have him using a lariat as a finisher (dubbed the Sloane Wanderer, because I see Sloane as the kind of Edge-esque douchebag who tries to fit his name into as many parts of his persona as he can; I'm anxiously awaiting a chance to put a mask on him under the guise of the Sloane Ranger ), which led to a cool moment in a match between SRCS and the team of Achilles the Mighty and Trauma. I went for the Sloane Wanderer, which Trauma ducked. Trauma went for a discus clothesline, which I ducked, at which point I went forward with another Sloane Wanderer, which hit.

I've also been thinking of whether or not I'd eventually have Sloane pull a Steen/HBK on Smooth once he's capable of having singles matches on a normal basis, so when I did a singles storyline and got Smooth at the end of it apropos of nothing, I kinda geeked out a bit. I did well, but he still wrestled circles around me.
