Fall of Entertainment's last stand was here tonight at Turning Point. Whether anyone from their team survives this match or not, Kane could still lose it all later on against Willow, which added to the suspense. A confident Shelton Benjamin started things off against Brutus Magnus. These two fought back-and-forth, with neither gaining much of an advantage. Shelton tossed Magnus into the F.O.E. corner and tagged in D.O.C. The big man came in and tossed Magnus around the ring for several minutes, until Magnus managed to make the tag off to RVD. RVD came in with a Savate Kick and fought hard to keep DOC isolated in his team's corner. This led to Anderson and Hennig standing guard as RVD landed the Five Star Frog Splash and just like that, DOC is out of Fall of Entertainment.</em></p><p> <strong>Eliminated: Director of Chaos</strong></p><p> <em>Of the newfound momentum, RVD's team worked over Shelton Benjamin and Christian Cage alike, though The Terrapin did not enter the ring. He then dragged Shelton back to his corner, hopped out, slapped Shelton's hand, and hopped back in. Anderson reached out and tagged Magnus. Magnus went for a Clothesline, but Terrapin ducked and knocked both RVD and Anderson off the apron at the same time. He then turned around and hooked up Magnus, landing the Terrarizer. The referee counted 1,2,3, and "Perfect Jr." hopped into the ring. Terrapin landed a Terrarizer on him as well, instantly, and got another three count.</em></p><p> <strong>Eliminated: Brutus Magnus & Joe Hennig</strong></p><p> <em>Rob Van Dam slid into the ring and traded blows with Terrapin, who got the advantage due to his size. He then fought his hardest for about five more minutes, before having another communication breakdown with Christian Cage. "The Instant Classic" refused to tag Terrapin's hand when he truly needed it, allowing RVD to land a Van Daminator and the Five Star Frog Splash to eliminate the big man and perhaps the biggest threat from the match and stable entirely. The crowd popped loudly for this.</em></p><p> <strong>Eliminated: The Terrapin</strong></p><p> <em>It was very simple from here on out for RVD & Anderson, it seemed, as the two took turns working over Christian Cage, the final competitor on the opposite team, and one of the only four competitors left in Fall of Entertainment altogether. Anderson held Christian atop the turnbuckle for a Green Bay Plunge, only for him to slip off of Anderson's shoulders somehow. Christian took Anderson down from the top rope, knocked RVD down and then turned around to land the Unprettier and even the odds.</em></p><p> <strong>Eliminated: Mr. Anderson</strong></p><p> <em>The remainder of the match was incredibly intense, with these two fighting back and forth until their last breath. Sick & Twisted understood that losing here my as well mean they join DOC, Shelty B, and Terrapin out of F.O.E, so they had a lot to prove. Rompo's powerhouse abilities came in handy and were a nice support for Darren Rosser's cunning style. Cody Rhodes managed to land a Disaster Kick to take Rompo off the ropes, and then the Cross Rhodes on D-Ross, but D-Ross caught the rope break to break the pin. Hurricane Helms' age was definitely showing more than ever in this one, but he fought hard to help his partner out and continue their excellent chemistry. Rhodes thought he had the match one when he went to pin D-Ross after another Cross Rhodes, but Rompo tugged on the foot of the referee until Cody got off D-Ross. Rosser crawled to his corner. Styles started things off with a flurry of kicks, but Morgan managed a few capture suplexes. AJ kept coming, fighting at him with knees and fists in an attempt to stall the big man. As things progressed, Matt Morgan became more obsessed. He went for nearfall after nearfall, and landed the Carbon Footprint for a close two count. He went for it again, but AJ ducked and landed an instant Pele Kick. Things continued to move forward, and a spot included Styles running across the apron, hopping onto the top rope, and landing a Corkscrew Splash. Morgan's Hellevator look to end Styles, but he escaped at the last minute and finished things out with the Spiral Tap. But wait.. Morgan kicks out! The two keep fight, minute by minute things grow more intense yet more challenging. The finish finally comes with Matt Morgan going for the Carbon Footprint again, but as the terrific match had us expecting, Styles dodged this atempt. He went for another Pele Kick, but missed. Morgan hooked him up for a Suplex, but Styles headed to the top rope and backflipped off, catching Morgan for a DDT half-way thorough. Styles landed the Styles Clash, for the third time in the match. Morgan was unable to kick out this time, though he kicked out after the three count and sat in the middle of the ring frustrated. TNA IMPACT WRESTLING

Thursday, Week 1, December 2014

AK Sullivan Arena

6,606 fans!

The show is led in by Mike Tenay, Jim Ross, and Taz. As soon as they're done talking, TNA Owner Paul Heyman's music hits and he makes his way down to the ring to mark his 1 Year Anniversary in control of the company.

Paul Heyman: "Tonight! We continue to move in this glorious direction we have been moving in. TNA's fanbase has increased since I arrived, and I intend to keep that true for years to come. With help from our investors, I can handle everything while someone else handles finances, which we all know I can't do."

The fans pop and laugh at Heyman's joke.

Paul Heyman: "Nevertheless, we're starting things out with eight Knockouts who have been itching to be on television. As the night rolls on, you will notice that the roster here is completely different than it was when I arrived, and this is nothing but a benefit for our fans, and our wrestlers, alike. Tonight, ten men will fight to prove themselves worthy of contention for AJ Styles' World Heavyweight Championship. Please, as always, enjoy the WRESTLING."

A huge pop for Heyman as he exits the ring.

Rating: 70

Heyman improvised well.

Match 1

Eight-Woman Tag Team Match

Alissa Flash, Awesome Kong, Beth Phoenix, and Gail Kim vs. Rosita, Melina Perez & The Beautiful People

The KOs made their return to the ring tonight, and in a pretty big way. The match ended with a big brawl, that saw Kong clothesline TBP over the top rope, and Flash and Kim fight with Melina on the outside. This left Beth Phoenix in the ring with Rosita, it was all over.

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Alissa Flash, Awesome Kong, Beth Phoenix and Gail Kim defeated Rosita, Melina Perez and The Beautiful People in 5:44 when Beth Phoenix defeated Rosita by pinfall with a Glam Slam.

Rating: 43

The shot cuts backstage and shows Darren Rosser and Rompo tossing Hurricane Helms around backstage. He takes a pretty big bump off of a steel rail of some sort, and is left busted open. Sick & Twisted continue the attack, leaving Helms in a pool of his own blood.

Rating: 45

Match 2

Singles Match

Jimmy Rave vs. "Perfect Jr." Joe Hennig

Perfect Jr. was in control for most of this one, but Jimmy Rave showed off his skills and proved he deserves to still be in the X-Division here in TNA. He impressed a few times, but fell victim to the Hennig Plex, which Joe held for the pinfall.

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Joe Hennig defeated Jimmy Rave in 6:39 by pinfall with a Hennig Plex.

Rating: 50

Match 3

Singles Match

Cody Rhodes vs. Kenny King

This match was completely one-sided, as Cody Rhodes released that his tag team partner would be no more after Sick & Twisted's actions tonight. He wanted to punish someone, and Kenny King was his victim. King was tossed around the ring, Cody was in fine form and finished him after three Beautiful Disaster kicks.

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Cody Rhodes defeated Kenny King in 8:10 by pinfall with The Beautiful Disaster.

Rating: 63

Match 4

Tag Team Match

Kaged Animals vs. Homicide and Shannon Moore

This one featured some pretty solid X-Division action, though the story was clear. Kaged Animals are looking to be the next TNA World Tag Team Champions, and Homicide is the X-Division Champion. Shannon Moore's usual tag team partner (Zema Ion) is not present this evening, so he is tagging with the X-Champion, who he has been known not to like. Additionally, Moore used to help TJ Perkins in training Vince Kage. With that being said, Homicide had no one to tag for the majority of the match, as Moore refused. Eventually, Homicide slapped Moore and tossed him in the ring, allowing "Natural" Vince Kage to run up and lock in the Guillotine Choke on Moore, causing his former trainer to tap out.

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Kaged Animals defeated Homicide and Shannon Moore in 8:21 when Vince Kage defeated Shannon Moore by submission with a Guillotine Choke.

Rating: 55

TJP improves Performance skills.

Match 5

Singles Match

Chris Sabin vs. John Hennigan

This one featured two men who have both been in slumps lately. Chris Sabin made his return to TV in a big way, by pulling off what would appear to be the upset victory, after dodging Starship Pain and landing the Cradle Shock.

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Chris Sabin defeated John Hennigan in 13:25 by pinfall with a Cradle Shock.

Rating: 62

AJ Styles cut a quick promo about tonight's main event, where he hopes someone proves themselves without cheating.

Rating: 65

Pre-Main Event

Singles Match

Champion vs. Champion

AJ Styles vs. Alex Shelley

These two showed great chemistry as opponents, matching each other and fighting back and forth for quite some time. The World Heavyweight Champion proved why he is such, however, and kicked out of the Sliced Bread #2, landing a Styles Clash for the win.

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, AJ Styles defeated Alex Shelley in 15:11 by pinfall with a Styles Clash.

Rating: 78

Styles improves Technical skills.

Main Event

10-Man Elimination Tag Team Match

Willow The Wisp, Kofi Kingston, Samoa Joe, RVD & Anderson vs. Christian Cage, Bobby Roode, Zane Nosux, Matt Morgan & Rhino

The much anticipated main event finally presented itself. The match saw no eliminations for quite some time, until many started up. The first elimination came when Rhino took a Whisper in the Wind, Trouble in Paradise, and Mic Check, and was then pinned after a Five Star Frog Splash from RVD.

Eliminated: Rhino

The heels tried to swing back from losing a team member, which only led to Samoa Joe eliminating Bobby Roode, who was being extra cocky, and fell victim to the Coquina Clutch.

Eliminated: Bobby Roode

Joe tagged out to Kofi Kingston, who came right in to a Carbon Footprint from Matt Morgan.

Eliminated: Kofi Kingston

Joe hopped back in, and Morgan slammed him down witha powerful Hellevator.

Eliminated: Samoa Joe

RVD climbed in next, and met the same fate!

Eliminated: Rob Van Dam

Willow and Anderson fought off Morgan, double-teaming the big man. Nosux and Christian actually refused the tag from Morgan, allowing Willow to land the Swanton Bomb on him and eliminate him.

Eliminated: Matt Morgan

Zane Nosux refused to get in the ring, milking his ankle injury from X-Plosion a couple weeks ago. Christian fell victim to the numbers game as a result,a nd was put away by Willow.

Eliminated: Christian Cage

Nosux came in, still milking his injury. This distracted Willow long enough for Nosux to hook him up and land the Package Piledriver.

Eliminated: Willow the Wisp

The final two competitors from each team faced off, and Anderson couldn't overcome the size advantage, and tapped out to the Sharpshooter.

Eliminated: Mr. Anderson

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Christian Cage, Bobby Roode, Zane Nosux, Matt Morgan and Rhino defeated Willow The Wisp, Rob Van Dam, Mr. Anderson, Kofi Kingston and Samoa Joe in an Elimination match in 19:59; Rhino was eliminated first, then Bobby Roode, then Kofi Kingston, then Samoa Joe, then Rob Van Dam, then Matt Morgan, then Christian Cage, then Willow The Wisp, and finally Mr. Anderson.

Rating: 70

Anderson needs character change. Nosux was slowed by injury.

Christian improves Performance, RVD improves Performance, Nosux improves Flying.

Show Rating: 69

This show increased our popularity in 2 regions, and lost us popularity in 13 regions.
