suburbanhell
Longtime fan/player, since way back in the EW days, I barely use my computer outside of work these days, was curious if 1)Adam/GDS has seen a growing interest in TEW or other GDS titles on tablets, and 2)what the likelihood of the next iteration of TEW having either a port, or a version that works on both PC and Android/iPad? The file structure, at least on the android makes me think that mods, etc. should be easy to implement, but obviously not being a developer I'm not aware of complete scope of challenges. TLCJR4LIFE
Would be great but it is expensive to develop and for an indy developer not always so viable.
iruleall15
I would love to play TEW on my cell phone if possible. Would be great to pick up from my game that I played on my CPU on my phone if possible.
Adam Ryland
1)Adam/GDS has seen a growing interest in TEW or other GDS titles on tablets, and 2)what the likelihood of the next iteration of TEW having either a port, or a version that works on both PC and Android/iPad? I can't speak for the other developers, but while I'm aware there's probably a big market for a good quality portable wrestling \ MMA sim, there's very little chance of any of my games being done for anything other than PCs any time soon - I don't own a mobile device and know absolutely nothing about them, so even if I did decide to go in that direction there'd be a long lag while I had to learn everything about coding and security from scratch. That's not something I'm keen on doing given that I've spent the past few years rewriting all my games once anyway. Those issues aside, my games are getting deeper and harder to keep on one big screen as it is, so I'm not sure I could shrink them to a smaller screen without having to simplify them - which is not something that interests me particularly at this time. Thanks for responding Adam, I appreciate the candor. I think there is definitely a market for a mobile version, but I can completely understand effort & time spent. I look forward to seeing what you have in store for us next.
franticloser
If you could find a developer would you be willing to maybe do a port of like ewr, you wouldn't have to worry so much about security as it's freeware, and it would get people a foot into the depth of TEW. I've used EWR a few times to get people's interest up as well as guide them into the much deeper waters of what TEW offers.

I mean it runs on Windows, it's not a special OS, or anything, is it? If that's the case, then I see no reason why it wouldn't run TEW.</p>
JamHead
I use an app on my Nexus 7 called Splashtop. It streams my computer to my tablet. It works well enough to play TEW with. It's free as long as you are running on the same network as your computer, but if you aren't then it is only like $2/m or something small like that.
