Alicia Strong looks to avenge her earlier loss to Belle Bryden - but will she be looking ahead to her match against Brooke Tyler? "The Hardcore American" Chris Caulfield has accepted The Sneer Corporation's challenge to a tag team match tonight. Who will be his partner? He says that with the Championship Committee making their decision on the title match at USPW House Party, he can't take the title shot away. However, there are USPW superstars who have stepped up to make sure Nicky Champion will have a fair shot at the PPV. That is why tonight, Nicky Champion will face The Towers of Power, with Enygma as his partner.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>USPW Television Title</strong></p><p> Andre Jones © vs Kevin Glenn</p><p> </p><p> In the first match of the night, Andre Jones defeated Kevin Glenn with a Blast From The Past making defense number 6 of his USPW Television title. Leading up to this episode of USPW American Wrestling, Andre Jones said he was very impressed with Glenn's performance against The Cold Warriors last week. I'm just surprised he didn't pick Hernandez as his opponent since he's the one that got hit with The Balance of Power. The match wasn't very long and the outcome was never in question which probably contributed to the non-existent crowd heat. But Glenn is clearly a solid hand in the ring, and Jones is coming into his own.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Andre Jones Wants a Match at USPW House Party</strong></p><p> </p><p> Andre Jones grabs the microphone and demands that Sam Strong come out and grant him a match at USPW House Party. It's time for the people around the world to see the greatest champion in USPW. Looks like Sam Strong is busy doing anything else but listening to Andre Jones, as he doesn't even acknowledge being called out to the ring.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Darryl Devine is Attacked</strong></p><p> </p><p> After the break, we come back to footage from moments ago - we see Darryl Devine leaving Seduction in the dressing room and as he turns the corner he's attacked by Casey Valentine and Giant Redwood. The attack is quick and brutal, only stopped by several staff members who rushed to the scene when Seduction called for help after hearing the altercation.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Brooke Tyler Hypes Her Match at USPW House Party</strong></p><p> </p><p> Brooke Tyler is backstage. She says she'll face Alicia Strong one on one - at USPW House Party. But before then, she'll study how Belle Bryden beats her for the second time in a month. Tyler and Bryden leave the interview area and head to the ring. Surprised Tyler was the one talking in the segment, but it makes sense since it's her match at the PPV.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Alicia Strong vs Belle Bryden</strong></p><p> </p><p> Alicia Strong avenged her earlier loss to Belle Bryden with an Angel Driver. However, the rematch focused on telling the story for the upcoming match between Strong and Tyler at USPW House Party. Early on, Brooke Tyler looked to give her mentor the upper hand through constant interference, but Robbie Sanchez - the referee assigned to the match - ejected her from ringside, making this truly a one on one match.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Cherry Bomb Promo</strong></p><p> </p><p> Cherry Bomb is backstage cutting a promo on her upcoming title match at USPW House Party. She says that when Melody gets hit with the Cherry Bomb, her title reign will be over! I honestly expected better from Cherry Bomb, but to be fair, it's possible that even she was confused about being given a title shot.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tyson Baine Hypes Last Man Standing Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> The announcers talk about Tyson Baine's reign of terror over Nicky Champion - despite the fact that he was defeated at USPW New Year's Revolution, Baine seems undeterred in his mission to take Nicky Champion to hell and back. The pyro goes off on the stage and out come Tyson Baine! He says Nicky Champion can try to avoid further punishment before the Pay Per View, but he's not going to have anyone to help him in their Last Man Standing match.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Natasha Snow Hypes The Cold Warriors And Makes A Challenge</strong></p><p> </p><p> Natasha Snow is backstage flanked by her clients, The Cold Warriors. She says that last week was a demonstration of the awesome power of The Cold Warriors, in case anyone had forgotten. She also says that it doesn't matter who the opponent was last week - Natural Storm will suffer the same fate at USPW House Party.</p><p> </p><p> She also adds that to demonstrate Russian dominance, she is challenging Alicia Strong to a match.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Chris Caulfield & James Justice vs Jumbo Jackson & T-Rex (w/ Shane Sneer)</strong></p><p> </p><p> Given the number of people who have an issue with The Sneer Corporation, it didn't take Chris Caulfield long to find a partner for this week. And considering the man who stepped up to the plate was none other than James Justice, I think Sneer might have been better off simply luring Caulfield into a match and having one of his goons interfere. It looked as though The Sneer Corporation would come out victorious - with Jackson distracting the referee, Shane Sneer set up a chair in corner. T-Rex looked to irish whip Caulfield into it, but Caulfield reversed it. Dazed, T-Rex was easy pickings for a Danger Drop. Jackson was unable to make the save with James Justice keeping him at bay.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Peter Valentine Responds to Darryl Devine</strong></p><p> </p><p> As the announcers talk about more trouble brewing inside The Sneer Corporation after this latest setback, Darryl Devine stumbles onto the stage with a microphone, still feeling the effects of the earlier beating at the hands of Casey Valentine and Giant Redwood. He defiantly calls out Peter Valentine, saying he's not even man enough to be the one doing the sneak attack. This brings out Peter Valentine who quickly gets in Devine's face. He taunts Devine, and repeats what Casey said last week: Who is Darryl Devine to be asking for title shots anyway? Darryl Devine is a nobody, according to Peter Valentine - a blemish on the USPW roster. Valentine says that he has friends that will make sure the USPW National Title stays where it belongs (referring to Casey Valentine & Giant Redwood). Who does Darryl Devine have? He says he'll give Devine two weeks to find friends (if he has any) to face him, Casey Valentine, and Giant Redwood at USPW House Party. But there's a catch: Loser Leaves USPW. If, through some act of God Darryl Devine wins, he'll give him a title shot.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>The Force Promo</strong></p><p> </p><p> The Force is backstage with a message for Shane Sneer. He mocks Sneer for having his plan backfire earlier tonight. He also says that he will be at ringside to make sure Sneer doesn't try to interfere in the main event. And if he happens to be dumb enough to test him on this, Shane Sneer will FEEL...THE...FORCE!</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Nicky Champion & Enygma (w/ The Force) vs The Towers of Power (w/ Shane Sneer)</strong></p><p> </p><p> In the main event of the evening, Enygma and Nicky Champion (with The Force in their corner) took on The Towers of Power (with Shane Sneer in their corner). Despite their experience as a team, The Towers of Power seemed impotent against Nicky Champion and Enygma. It may have had something to do with The Force's presence neutralizing Shane Sneer's influence in the match. It was surprising to see the booking team sacrifice Mick Muscles in this match (he took the pin from Nicky Champion) when it's clear he's the stronger of the two members in The Towers of Power.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>The Mind Games Continue</strong></p><p> </p><p> As The Sneer Corporation retreats backstage and Champion, Enygma and The Force celebrate, the lights suddenly go out. When they come back on, Tyson Baine is standing at the bottom of the ramp, just outside the ring. Enygma and The Force invite him into the ring, but he pays no attention to them - he is focused solely on Nicky Champion. They stare each other down as the announcers say we are out of time on the show.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>* * *</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <strong>News & Notes</strong></p><p> </p><p> *USPW American Wrestling received a 3.21 television rating. This is up from last week's 3.17.</p><p> </p><p> *It appears Peter Valentine has grown (more) insufferable backstage following his USPW National Title win a few weeks ago. In fact, his absence from the show last week (Feb Week 1) was due to growing problems backstage. Not ones to have plans derailed due to minor incidents, Sam Strong and his adviser felt the best way to defuse the issue was to send Peter Valentine home for the night. His return at last night's episode shows it was a minor incident. Much to the chagrin of our readers, it appears Peter Valentine will not be de-pushed over his growing ego.</p><p> </p><p> *Next week will be the last episode before USPW House Party, and the following matches are scheduled:</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="37936" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>USPW Television Title<p> Andre Jones © vs James Hernandez</p><p> Comment:</p><p> </p><p> Cherry Bomb & Gorgon vs Melody & Raven Robinson</p><p> Comment:</p><p> </p><p> Alicia Strong vs Natasha Snow</p><p> Comment:</p><p> </p><p> Enygma vs T-Rex (w/ Shane Sneer)</p><p> Comment:</p><p> </p></div></blockquote>

American Wrestling (Wedenesday Week 3 February 2013)

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee200/CQI13/USPW/PPV%20Events/AmericanWrestlingTV.png

These are the results from USPW American Wrestling, being held by United States Pro Wrestling. It is being held in front of 11,640 people at ND Ralph Engelstad Arena and is being shown live on Sports America.

Strong Opening Promo

The show begins with Sam Strong coming onto the stage, microphone in hand. He says he is giving Nicky Champion the night off to make sure both he and Tyson Baine are 100% for their Last Man Standing match at USPW House Party on Sunday. However, he promises the fans in attendance a night full of great action, including two women's matches and a main event featuring Enygma taking on T-Rex!

USPW Television Title

Andre Jones © vs James Hernandez

By defeating James Hernandez via a Blast From The Past, Andre Jones makes defense number 7 of his USPW Television title. The match was slightly more competitive than his last title defense, with Hernandez displaying some offense, but the result was never in question. I wonder when Jones will get some real competition...

After the match, Andre Jones grabs a microphone. He takes shots at Sam Strong and a few workers in the back. He says that unlike some champions who defend their belts once a month, he's taking on all comers. And unlike Nicky Champion, he'd be willing to put his title on the line this Sunday despite wrestling tonight. Of course Sam Strong doesn't want that, because with his credentials, he'd be the obvious choice as the next challenger to the USPW World title.

Darryl Devine is Interrupted by The Chosen Ones & Giant Redwood

After the break, Darryl Devine comes out with a microphone. He says that as of now, he is yet to find two partners to take on Peter Valentine & Co - because the list of people who would love to get their hands on Giant Redwood and Valentine is considerable. This brings out The Valentines and Giant Redwood. Casey gets in the ring first, sliding under the bottom rope, and getting in Devine's face. Giant Redwood steps over the top rope and tries to intimidate Devine. Peter Valentine, USPW National Title over his shoulder stands a few feet behind Casey and Redwood. He thinks Devine is bluffing and the reason he hasn't found a partner is because no one is willing to go against the greatest collection of workers ever assembled in USPW (did he just say that?!?!), especially not when it means tagging with Darryl Devine. He ends by saying that Sunday night will be the end of an error - Devine's career in USPW.

Natural Storm (w/Persephone) Promo

We go backstage, where Persephone is with Natural Storm. She says she cannot wait until USPW House Party where Natural Storm will defeat The Cold Warriors. And while the Cold Warriors were all too eager to try and intimidate her early on, things have changed since she's had Natural Storm by her side.

Freddie Datsun Challenge

After the break, Freddie Datsun is on the stage. He says he's still feeling the effects of that piledriver he suffered at the hands of Andre Jones. While he's still a few weeks away from being able to wrestle (doctor's orders), he would love to teach Jones a lesson this Sunday...if only Sam Strong would allow it. And although it means we will have to suffer through Andre Jones claiming to be the MVP of USPW for a little longer, he understands that Sam Strong is putting his health and safety first. But when he's finally cleared, Andre Jones better watch out!

Cherry Bomb & Gorgon vs Melody & Raven Robinson

Our next match is the tag team contest between the teams of Cherry Bomb & Gorgon and Raven Robinson & Melody. The action was good (as expected in a match featuring Cherry Bomb and Raven Robinson), but the fact that there wasn't much heat is an indictment on creative for their lack of emphasis on the Women's Division. If this is the build up they are giving Cherry Bomb vs Melody for the USPW Women's Title at USPW House Party, it's a joke! The would be better off working a longer program on television and putting Andre Jones in a match on the PPV, even if it's non-title. Oh yeah, Cherry Bomb got the pin after hitting her eponymous finisher on Raven Robinson.

The Force Is Backstage

Taking a break from the action, the announcers send it backstage where The Force is shilling some merchandise...and reminding the fans to order USPW House Party this Sunday on PPV! He says that he doesn't have a match, but he will be enjoying every minute of it, especially when the destruction of The Sneer Corporation continues!

Enygma Promo on The Sneer Corporation

Speaking of which, Enygma cuts a promo on his recent success against The Sneer Corporation. Last week he teamed up with Nicky Champion and defeated The Towers of Power. And tonight he has a match against T-Rex. As for Sunday, he's looking forward to whatever scheme Shane Sneer is trying to put into action. Because whatever the circumstances, Sunday night will mark yet another defeat of The Sneer Corporation.

Alicia Strong vs Natasha Snow

The semi-main event of the evening was none other than Alicia Strong taking on Natasha Snow. The Russian Bombshell had The Cold Warriors at ringside, and they looked to use the numbers game to their advantage. However, it wasn't long before Persephone and Natural Storm came out to even out the sides. Snow seemed taken off her game by Natural Storm at ringside. In the end, Alicia Strong proved that when the sides are even, it is very tough for anyone to beat her. She took the win thanks to an Angel Driver.

After the match, Alicia Strong cut a promo on Belle Bryden and Brooke Tyler. She says Brooke Tyler is an unknown, making her very difficult to prepare for. But she's confident she'll be able to beat her, especially if...

Before she's able to finish, pyro explodes on the stage (and from all four corners of the ring), announcing the arrival of Tyson Baine! He gets in the ring with bad intentions, and Alicia Strong immediately goes after him - if she's going down, she won't just be a victim. She hits Baine with a couple of forearms to no effect. She then goes for a clothesline...nothing. Then another...again nothing. As she turns to go for a third, Baine simply grabs her by the hair. Alicia is helpless. He signals for a Hades Bomb, when from the back, out comes Nicky Champion with a chair! Baine doesn't see him and gets blasted with a chair shot! He releases Alicia Strong, and as Champion goes for a second chair shot, Baine ducks and gets out of the ring. As he walks back up the ramp, he laughs off the save, as Nicky Champion checks on Alicia Strong.

Shane Sneer Responds to Enygma's Challenge

After the break, Shane Sneer is backstage with T-Rex. He says that tonight will begin the reversal of fortunes for The Sneer Corporation when T-Rex crushes Enygma. And to prove he doesn't have to rely on numbers, he's challenging the two biggest pests in USPW (Enygma and James Justice) to take on two of his clients this Sunday. Um, Shane, that doesn't prove anything...you still have 3 other workers that could interfere in the match, plus you'll be at ringside. But I get it, at least it's not a handicap match. Gotta love heels and their fuzzy math.

Enygma vs T-Rex (w/ Shane Sneer & Jumbo Jackson)

In the main event, Enygma defeated T-Rex with an Enygma Variation. T-Rex controlled the early portion of the match. But as the tide began to turn, something curious happened. Jumbo Jackson, who was at ringside with Shane Sneer, looked to interfere...but Shane Sneer stopped him! Is Sneer going to show such restraint on Sunday? Is he trying to teach T-Rex a lesson?

After the match, Sneer gets in the ring followed by Jumbo Jackson. He stands over T-Rex berating him, even going as far as slapping T-Rex, who looks like he's about to explode at the insult. When he gets up, T-Rex looks ready to deck Shane Sneer, but Jackson looks like he's itching for a fight. Add the possibility of The Towers of Power joining the fray, and he thinks better of it. And even though nothing happens here, it's a truly volatile situation going forward.

</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Show Intro</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Sam Strong comes out to onto the stage and greets the fans in attendance and those watching at home. He says that they are in for a great show, especially the main event: a Last Man Standing Match between Tyson Baine and Nicky Champion!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Andre Jones Promo</strong></p><p> </p><p>

As the announcers discuss the matches ahead, the crowd begins to boo when Andre Jones comes out. He is looks sharp, and has the USPW Television title over his shoulder. He claims he is being treated unfairly, as this is the second PPV which does not feature him. He says this is due to the fact that Sam Strong wants to keep him away from achieving his full potential. He says Sam Strong is trying to prevent Andre Jones from eclipsing Nicky Champion!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Loser Leaves Town</strong></p><p>

Darryl Devine with Savage Fury vs The Chosen Ones (Peter & Casey Valentine) and Giant Redwood</p><p> </p><p>

Before they make their way to the ring, The Chosen Ones and Giant Redwood are atop the ramp. Peter Valentine has a microphone and is flanked by Casey Valentine and Giant Redwood. He says that tonight will be a great night. Pinning Darryl Devine will mark the end of an error in USPW. And to be honest, Valentine says that he's doing Devine a favor - rather than being a curtain jerker here he can headline independent shows across the country.</p><p> </p><p>

The Chosen Ones and Giant Redwood make their way down to the ring, smug as ever. Once they are in the ring, Devine's music hits, and he comes out...alone. He looks to the ring, sees his three opponents, and begins to pace, as if psyching himself up. But just before he begins to walk down the ramp, he stops and gives them a smirk. Tribal sounds blare from the speakers and out come Savage Fury! Peter Valentine is irate, but Casey Valentine whispers something to him that appears to calm him down.</p><p> </p><p>

The match begins with Peter Valentine and Darryl Devine in the ring. Valentine uses his power and size to control the match, with Devine doing good job of playing the role of underdog. The heels do a good job of cutting the ring in half by underhanded tactics. The referee keeps Savage Fury from making the save as he doesn't see the initial interference on the part of the heels. Casey Valentine gets tagged in, and the heels continue controlling the match. The match turns when Darryl Devine reversed a Deep Impact by Casey Valentine. Devine tags in Tribal Warrior! Casey Valentine retreats to his corner and tags in Giant Redwood and gets off apron. Redwood is looking around confused. He looks to tag Peter Valentine, who hesitates for a moment, but ultimately jumps off the apron. He and Casey leave to go backstage, leaving Redwood all alone. Redwood tries to make the most of it, but Tribal Warrior ducks a clothesline and follows it up with a Headhunter Special. Redwood is dazed, and finally goes down when Java gets tagged in and hits a Greetings From the Island. The crowd is going crazy as Devine gets tagged in. He hits a frog splash, and covers Giant Redwood for the pin.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Bye Bye Redwood?</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Devine stands over Redwood overjoyed, and begins to taunt him, waving him goodbye (as the crowd joins in). Redwood is furious, and if not for the fact that Savage Fury was standing behind Devine, he probably would have retaliated.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Tyson Baine Promo</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Tyson Baine appears on the big screen and he warns the fans in attendance (and those watching at home) that tonight he will take their hero to hell and back. And when he's through with Nicky Champion, the fans of USPW will bow down to the Demon From the Deep!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Alicia Strong vs Brooke Tyler</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The announcers send it to the back, where Alicia Strong is being interviewed by Brock Cornish. She tells Cornish that she's looking forward to her match against Brooke Tyler, and hopes that Belle Bryden doesn't interfere to truly gauge Tyler's level of talent.</p><p> </p><p>

Brooke Tyler made her USPW in-ring debut in a losing effort to Alicia Strong when she fell victim to an Angel Driver. In a match that was seen as a bathroom break by those in attendance (as far as heat was concerned) but probably had Creative salivating at future match ups (the two seemed to have pretty good chemistry), Strong used her experience to put the rookie away. Belle Bryden provided guest commentary during the match, and would occasionally distract Strong, but didn't get physically involved until...</p><p> </p><p>

...the match was over. As Strong celebrated, Tyler confronted her, allowing Bryden to attack from behind. The 2-on-1 would have probably been too much had it not been for the arrival of Joanne Rodriguez! She hit a J-Rocker on Tyler, and Bryden escaped. As Tyler & Bryden went back up the ramp, J-Ro extended her hand to Strong, who looked skeptical at first, but allowed J-Ro to help her up.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>USPW World Tag Team Titles</strong></p><p>

Natural Storm © (w/ Persephone) vs The Cold Warriors (w/ Natasha Snow)</p><p> </p><p>

We go backstage once again, this time to the locker room of The Cold Warriors. Natasha Snow is with them, and says that tonight will mark the beginning of Russian supremacy in USPW. And once her clients hold the USPW World Tag Team titles, there will be no one who will be able to take the titles away from them.</p><p> </p><p>

In another match that lacked the heat Creative probably wanted, The Cold Warriors drew with Natural Storm, following a double count out. Throughout the match, Natasha Snow kept trying to go after Persephone at ringside. This succeeded in getting Natural Storm off their game, as they would always deviate from the action to make sure Persephone was out of harm's way. When Snow finally got physically involved, Natural Storm intervened. This led to The Cold Warriors doing the same, both teams brawling ringside and the two valets following suit. Unable to keep order in the match, the referee had no choice but to count both teams out.</p><p> </p><p>

As both teams are finally separated, both Persephone and Natasha Snow continue to try to go at it, with the lasting visual of Petr Novak picking Snow up and carrying her backstage, as Karloff stands between him and Natural Storm. For their part, Natural Storm are trying to calm Persephone down.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Sam Strong Hypes The Second Half</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Sam Strong comes out and talks about the action so far, plus hypes the fact that they still have two title matches still to go, as well as a great tag match between the teams of Bruce The Giant & Jumbo Jackson and Enygma & James Justice!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>USPW Women's World Title</strong></p><p>

Melody © vs Cherry Bomb</p><p> </p><p>

Up next is the USPW Women's Title match between the champion Melody, and Cherry Bomb. But first USPW is going to do their best to build interest in the match, since apparently 4 weeks was not enough. Normally I'd advocate a hype video, but what are they going to show, the discussions the championship committee had prior to awarding the title shot to Cherry Bomb? Or maybe the tag match last week? So instead, we get back to back promos.</p><p> </p><p>

Melody seems to be in the same spot as Natural Storm. Talented (Rayne and Howard are better I'd say), but lacking personality thus far. She's competent enough on the microphone, so given the right character or story she might flourish. Instead she tells us that she's not afraid of anyone, and can't wait to get in the ring tonight.</p><p> </p><p>

Cherry Bomb, on the other hand, is talented and has some depth to her (she can cut some great "Crazy" promos)and tonight was no different. What she's lacking is for Creative to focus on her more. Tonight, she is in fine form, eyes shifting around, pulling her hair. She finishes by telling Melody that her time is up..."BOOM!"</p><p> </p><p>

The match itself was pretty good, but Creative is clearly missing the mark with these girls. Despite the great action, the crowd seemed disinterested. The crowd did go mild when Melody escaped a Cherry Bomb attempt and followed it up with Melody Maker.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Enygma & James Justice vs Jumbo Jackson & Bruce The Giant</strong></p><p> </p><p>

After the match, we are taken backstage where Shane Sneer is standing with Jumbo Jackson and Bruce The Giant. Behind them stand The Towers of Power and T-Rex. Sneer says that he's asking The Corporation to stay behind tonight - the numbers game is something that simply makes sense, but with Bruce The Giant in the ring, having had a month to prepare, it won't be necessary. </p><p> </p><p>

The announcers then send it back to Brock Cornish, who is interviewing James Justice and Enygma. Justice says he doesn't trust Sneer not interfering in the match, but that would be nothing new from him. Enygma says that if someone does decide to interfere, he has the great equalizer (and holds up a green baseball bat). </p><p> </p><p>

The semi-main event of the evening is the tag match between Bruce The Giant & Jumbo Jackson and Enygma & James Justice. Jackson was involved in most of the match, with Bruce having a few spots and the finish, while both Enygma and Justice saw equal amounts of action. And while Shane Sneer did not interfere, it did not mean that there weren't underhanded tactics used by his team. Constant distractions and double teams that the ref conveniently only saw when the faces tried to even out the sides, like Bruce The Giant holding Justice as Jumbo attacked him in the corner. In the end, Justice ate a big boot from Jackson when he tried to break up the pin that followed a Giant Choke Slam on Enygma by Bruce The Giant.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>USPW World Title</strong></p><p>

<em>Last Man Standing Match</em></p><p>

Nicky Champion © vs Tyson Baine</p><p> </p><p>

As both Baine and Champion make their elaborate entrances for the main event, the announcers talk about the night so far, and the match to come.</p><p> </p><p>

Their second PPV match surpassed the first, perhaps aided by the fact that they weren't trapped by a cage - the stipulation really had a positve effect on the match. And despite the PG nature of USPW for the most part on TV, they seem to have a little more freedom on PPV. Both Champion and Baine took advantage of the fact, with some very physical spots. One of the more memorable spots was a Hades Bomb that put Nicky Champion through the announce table, but he managed to get up at 9. Baine was in control throughout, with Champion making comeback after comeback. Around the 17 minute mark, a bloodied Nicky Champion managed a Hawkeye Hammer on top of the ring steps that managed to put away Baine. No shame in losing for the Demon really - he really tested Champion, who was able to eke out a victory.</p><p> </p><p>

Unfortunatley for Nicky Champion, his celebration was cut short when Bruce The Giant came out. If Champion had been smart, he would not have gone directly at The Giant. Instead, the night ended with Champion getting dazed by a Giant Headbutt, followed by a Giant Choke Slam. For good measure, Bruce the Giant put a foot on Champion's chest as he posed holding the USPW World Title over him. Shane Sneer was ecstatic at ringside.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>News & Notes</strong></p><p> </p><p>

*USPW House Party earned a 1.34 PPV buyrate.</p><p> </p><p>

*Speaking of the PPV, the PPV carrier was extremely upset with the content of the main event - they were not expecting blood. Nicky Champion did say it was "accidental" but if you watched the match, I'm not sure how true that is. We also found out the match had to be re-written a few times when they kept shooting down possible stipulations. Expect USPW to shop around for more lenient carriers in months to come if they choose to evolve their product (or simply have more freedom).</p><p> </p><p>

*USPW will be debuting a new television show in March. The show will be live every Monday and will be called "All Star Wrestling." As of yet, there are no details on what will happen with "American Wrestling."</p><p> </p><p>

*The prediction contest standings are currently:</p><p> </p><p>

American Wrestling (Wednesday Week 4 February 2013)

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee200/CQI13/USPW/PPV%20Events/AmericanWrestlingTV.png

These are the results from USPW American Wrestling, being held by United States Pro Wrestling. It is being held in front of 11,960 people at TX AT&T Center and is being shown live on Sports America.

Sam Strong Books Nicky Champion vs Bruce The Giant For USPW March Madness

Sam Strong comes out and thanks the fans for making USPW House Party a huge success. Due to Shane Sneer's actions at the PPV, he was forced to give Nicky Champion the night off, in order to recover - not only from the brutal battle he had against Tyson Baine, but also the attack after the match was over. As for Shane Sneer and The Sneer Corporation, he's weighing what teh consequences will be for Bruce The Giant's actions at the end of the PPV.

Shane Sneer comes out next. He tells Strong he doesn't understand why there should be ANY consequences. He did not interfere in the main event. Bruce The Giant made his way out after Tyson Baine didn't answer the 10-count. Unless of course, he's protecting his protege. Maybe, Nicky Champion is just trying to back out of his match tonight, and is trying to save face by having Sam Strong make an official announcement.

This brings out Nicky Champion, microphone in hand. He's in street clothes, but is bandaged up - namely his head, and you can see his torso wrapped up under his shirt. He tells Sam Strong that he appreciates the courtesy, but he had been booked to wrestle tonight, and he can't disappoint his fans. Despite vanquishing Tyson Baine at House Party, he now has to turn his attention to his toughest challenge yet: Bruce The Giant, at USPW March Madness. Sam Strong tries to convince Nicky to take the week off, but is unsuccessful, as Shane Sneer stands off to the side, smirking.

Joanne Rodriguez (w/ Alicia Strong) vs Gorgon

The opening match doesn't get much fanfare, despite being the debut of Joanne Rodriguez in USPW. Given decent time, both J-Ro and Gorgon got a chance to showcase their strengths. In the end, a J-Rocker on Gorgon secures her the victory. Given Alicia Strong's troubles against Belle Bryden and Brooke Tyler, Strong was at ringside to make sure J-Ro had a clean 1-on-1 debut.

Immediately following the match, Alicia Strong jumps into the ring and raises J-Ro's hand in victory. She then grabs the microphone and says that since Belle Bryden seems to like to play the numbers game, she got herself some help.

Taking Out the Trash

Outside the AT&T Center, Giant Redwood is wreaking havoc, intimidating security trying to gain entry into the building. He eventually does, but before he's able to make his way through the backstage area, he's stopped by Savage Fury. He really should know better than trying to intimidate two legitimate tough guys. He tries anyway, and gets beat down for his troubles. In the end, Savage Fury drag Giant Redwood out of the arena, and put him inside a dumpster, slamming the lid. Let's hope that's the end of Giant Redwood in USPW.

USPW Television Title Match

Andre Jones © vs Chris Caulfield

Chris Caulfield comes out to the ring. He says for the last several weeks, he's heard Andre Jones claim he's the best champion in USPW, the main attraction that people come to see. And he'll give it to Andre, he's definitely been a fighting champion. But he has yet to face someone of his caliber. Chris Caulfield calls out Andre Jones and demands a USPW Television title match.

Andre Jones fell short of making defense number 8 of his USPW Television title, but it was certainly under dubious circumstances. Finally working with someone at the top of the card, Andre Jones fell short against Chris Caulfield after Freddie Datsun interfered. Datsun used a ref bump as his opportunity to attack Andre Jones with the USPW Television title. Probably not the way he wanted to win the belt, but Caulfield nonetheless took it. Datsun got the referee up as Caulfield made teh cover for the win.

Darryl Devine Celebrates

Darryl Devine is in the ring with Seduction, a big smile on his face. He says that on Sunday night he succeeded in overcoming the first hurdle on his way to reclaim the USPW National Title. By winning the match on Sunday, not only did Devine rid USPW of Giant Redwood, but he also earned himself a title shot against Peter Valentine at USPW March Madness.

This brings out Peter Valentine to a chorus of boos. Peter Valentine comes out with Casey Valentine. He says that Darryl Devine hasn't earned anything yet. At USPW House Party, he beat the weak link of the team. Peter says that if Devine had pinned him he would have earned his title shot. Instead, he must now go through Casey Valentine first if he wants a shot at the USPW National title at USPW March Madness.

Natasha Snow Hypes Up The Cold Warriors

We go backstage where Natasha Snow is standing with The Cold Warriors. She says that The Cold Warriors would be the USPW World Tag Team champions had it not been for Persephone interfering in the match last night. She demands that her clients get another shot at the belts, at USPW March Madness. Quick to act, Danny Jillefski says that he just received word from the USPW Championship Committee that due to the non-decision in the USPW World Tag Team title match at USPW House Party, a rematch has been signed for the March PPV.

Melody's Open Challenge

Melody is in the ring with a microphone. She says that she's looking for competition. Having beaten the best of the best in USPW, Melody has gotten clearance from USPW management to issue an open challenge for her USPW Women's title. Anyone who wants a title shot simply needs to ask.

T-Rex & Jumbo Jackson (w/ Shane Sneer) vs James Justice & Enygma

Shane Sneer is backstage along with T-Rex and Jumbo Jackson. He says that at USPW House Party, The Sneer Corporation proved to be superior to USPW's heroes. Tonight, his team of Jumbo Jackson and T-Rex will finish the job that Bruce The Giant started.

Unfortunately for Shane Sneer, Jumbo Jackson & T-Rex were not as successful against Justice & Enygma as Bruce The Giant & Jumbo Jackson were a few nights before. Much like when they faced off in singles action a few weeks ago, Enygma made T-Rex tap out to the Enygma Variation.

As soon as the match is done, Shane Sneer gets in the ring and gets in T-Rex's face. He's looking up at T-Rex, poking him in the chest as he's yelling at him. T-Rex clenches his fists, as if he's ready to take a swing at Sneer, but decides to simply turn away and leave the ring. Not sure how much longer T-Rex will take this abuse, but it will be interesting to see where this ends up.

Non-Title Match

Nicky Champion vs Charlie Thatcher

After the break, we go backstage where a heavily bandaged Nicky Champion is getting ready for his match tonight against Charlie Thatcher. Sam Strong stops by and tells him he doesn't have to wrestle tonight, but Nicky won't have any of it. He says he's a fighting champion, and he can't take a night off when his match against Bruce The Giant is on the horizon. He knows there's no one he can face that will truly prepare him to face Bruce, but he'll go to to toe with the biggest and baddest men in USPW leading up to USPW March Madness.

The crowd really eats up a vulnerable Nicky Champion going up against a mountain of man in Charlie Thatcher. Despite Thatcher not being anywhere near the level of Nicky Champion, the USPW World Champion makes The Insurance Policy look like a credible threat. Champion's bandages served as bullseyes for Thatcher, who looked to punish the champ in this non-title match. Champion used his speed to gain the upperhand, ducking a big boot attempt by Thatcher (that left him with one leg over the top rope) to set Thatcher up for the Hawkeye Hammer and the pin.

USPW All Star Wrestling (Monday Week 1 March 2013)

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee200/CQI13/USPW/AllStarWrestlingTV.png

These are the results from USPW All Star Wrestling, being held by United States Pro Wrestling. It is being held in front of 13,553 people at VA Richmond Coliseum and is being shown live on USA Sports 1.

Sam Strong Opening Promo

Sam Strong comes out and welcomes the fans (and the audience at home) to the brand new USPW television show, USPW All Stars! He says they have an action packed show ahead, including James Justice & Nicky Champion vs The Towers of Power (with Shane Sneer).

Danny Jillefski talks about Nicky Champion putting himself through tough competition trying to get ready for Bruce The Giant, but Emily McQueen says he's not doing that tonight - he has James Justice to do all the heavy lifting, and then swoop in for the pin in classic Nicky Champion fashion. They continue to argue, until Brock Cornish says Chris Caulfield is on the stage, and has a few words to say before his first title defense.

USPW Television TItle

Chris Caulfield © vs Ash Campbell

Caulfield says that as Television champion, he will take on all comers. And he plans to use the title as a platform for talent from all around the world to get their shot at the big time. Tonight, that begins with Ash Campbell as his first challenger.

The announce teams does a good job of talking Campbell up - his in ring experience, his pedigree, the bright future ahead. Caulfield and Campbell do a good job of entertaining the fans. However, I would say that USPW needs to bring these challengers in for a few shows, to build them up. Inserting them into Television title matches does nothing but pad Caulfield's record - no one really believed Campbell would win, right? Caulfield completed a successful title defense after a Danger Drop.

Andre Jones Promo

After the break, we are taken backstage where Andre Jones is cutting a promo. Jones says that after being robbed of the USPW Television title, he's turning his focus to defeating the man who cost him the belt: Freddie Datsun. Jones calls him a coward who couldn't even face him for the belt, instead choosing to interfere. At March Madness, he's demanding a match with Datsun, so he can teach him a lesson.

Darryl Devine (w/ Seduction) vs Casey Valentine (w/ Peter Valentine)

The next match is between Darryl Devine and Casey Valentine. And unless Peter Valentine finds some loophole, a Darryl Devine win would send him to March Madness as the #1 contender to the USPW National Title. As an aside, Devine seems more comfortable against Casey Valentine than he does against the larger workers. It looked as though Devine would get his title shot, until Peter Valentine (who was ringside) tried going after Seduction. Noticing this, Devine took his eyes off his opponent, which is all Casey Valentine needed to hit the Deep Impact for the win.

Peter Valentine grabs a microphone as he gets into the ring to join Casey Valentine in the celebration. He tells Devine that at the PPV he got lucky, finding someone to tag with him who basically got him the win. But one on one, Darryl Devine doesn't stand a chance against either Valentine. A few more stomps from both Peter and Casey, and they exit the ring, Peter Valentine throwing the microphone at him.

Jillefski decries the injustice that just took place, while McQueen blames the loss on Seduction. They would continue arguing if not for the fact that Brock Cornish lets them know Persephone is standing backstage with her clients Natural Storm.

Persephone & Natural Storm Promo

Persephone says that at March Madness, Natural Storm will be ready for whatever The Cold Warriors have in store. In fact, she proposes that leading into the PPV the two teams face each other in singles matches - first D.C. Rayne vs Krusher Karloff, then the following week, Eddie Howard vs Petr Novak. The announcers agree this will be huge, going into their PPV match for the USPW World Tag Team Titles, whoever is able to win will definitely grab the momentum going in.

Alicia Strong vs Belle Bryden vs Raven Robinson vs Cherry Bomb

The semi-main event of the night is a Fatal 4 Way Women's Exhibition, between Alicia Strong, Cherry Bomb, Belle Bryden, and Raven Robinson. Designed as a way to showcase the division to a larger audience, they seemed to settle on the 4 cornerstones of the division. If I was Melody I'd be pissed, but she did mention an open challenge, so presumably that will get answered on this show as well. All four competiors get a chance to display their offense, Belle Bryden picking up the win in the end after the Dish of the Day on Raven Robinson.

The Force Promo

The Force is in a short segment, shilling merchandise, and trumpeting the new show featuring 2 hours of action! Really it's a about an hour, the rest is promos and backstage segments, but it is a two hour timeslot. Jillefski is amused by The Force's energy, while McQueen thinks he's insufferable, always shilling something.

Melody's Open Challenge is Answered

Melody is in the ring, getting ready to talk, when a strange theme plays in the arena. Out comes AAA veteran...Grace Harper! Harper says she and Melody have a long history, dating back to 2006. Harper says she never like Melody, not in 2006 when Harper was passed over because Melody was newly arrived. Not in 2007, when Harper lost the title she had worked so hard for to Melody. And certainly not since, when Harper never got a chance to regain that title. Instead, Melody went on to have a great career, and made a big splash when she debuted in USPW by defeating Alicia Strong clean for the title. Harper, on the other hand, has toiled in relative obscurity since leaving Canada. (I must say, I'm not sure how AAA will feel about being referred to as "obscure").

So when she heard that Melody was issuing an open challenge, she saw it as a great opportunity for a little payback. She's waited since 2007 to take the title from Melody. And when she does, she will take the USPW Women's Title, and defend it "out west." Melody says she'll gladly give Grace Harper the title shot at March Madness, going so far as to say that Harper has had an illustrious career, and deserves a big break.

Enygma Challenges Andre Jones

From a dark corner of the arena, Enygma speaks to the audience. He says he's gotten over the tough loss at the PPV at the hands of Bruce The Giant, and is looking for his next challenge. He says that Andre Jones has caught his eye recently, especially with his claims of greatness which he has yet to back up. So he's laying down the challenge to Andre Jones. If he's so tough, why not go after Enygma? If he truly wants to earn his stripes, why not go after an established main eventer? Jillefski says that this is Andre's opportunity to really make an impact, while McQueen contends that Andre Jones needs to prove nothing. The fact that Sam Strong is keeping him down speaks volumes!

Nicky Champion & James Justice vs The Towers of Power (w/ Shane Sneer, T-Rex, and Jumbo Jackson)

Nicky Champion is backstage with James Justice. He says that in order to make sure he prepares for Bruce The Giant, but protect against whatever Sneer might have up his sleeve, he's teaming up with James Justice tonight. Justice says that he's been working with Champion, helping him plan against Bruce The Giant. He also says that he doesn't need much of an excuse to go after The Sneer Corporation - any time he can be a thorn on Sneer's side, he's up for it.

We cut to The Sneer Corporation's locker room where Shane Sneer is standing with his stable. He says Nicky Champion is delusional if he thinks he's going to make it to March Madness in one piece. Thatcher did his job last week, going after Nicky's injuries. Tonight, The Towers of Power will continue what was started last week. He reminds Champion that it's not about the wins and losses right now...and Champion's blind devotion to the fans is what's going to ultimately bring him down.

Much to the chagrin of Emily McQueen, Nicky Champion and James Justice split the workload evenly in the main event. In fact, it was actually Champion who pinned Danny Rushmore after a Hawkeye Hammer. However, the bigger story in the match took place outside the ring. As the match was drawing to a close, Sneer began to yell at T-Rex to do something, to hurt Nicky Champion, to help The Towers of Power...anything! T-Rex stood there motionless, ignoring Sneer's instructions. After the Hawkeye Hammer, and subsequent 3 count, Sneer exploded at T-Rex. Only this time, tired of Sneer getting in his face, T-Rex hit him with a clothesline that turned him inside out! I guess this officially severs his ties with The Sneer Corporation. Before he's able to do much more, Jumbo Jackson stops him. The two former allies engage in a wild brawl, while Nicky Champion and James Justice look on, equal parts befuddled and amused.

News & Notes

-The debut of USPW All Star Wrestling on USA Sports 1 did a 6.15 television rating.

-The thought among many in the creative team was that the T-Rex turn could have/should have been completed last week. However, Sam Strong and his adviser decided to push it back to this episode, feeling it needed a "memorable moment" seeing as it was the first episode in a new network.

-The standings for the prediction contest currently are as follows:

Know Your Enemy: 5 wins (18/21, 0.857)

mistaken: 3 wins (11/16, 0.688)

midnightnick: 2 win (15/28, 0.535)

DAVEFAN95: 1 win (6/7, 0.857)

Hitman74: 1 win (3/4, 0.750)

- Next week, on USPW All Star Wrestling:

Chris Caulfield puts his USPW Television Title on the line against FCW talent Carlos Gonzalez. Darryl Devine is getting a rematch against Casey Valentine, but this week Peter Valentine has been barred from ringside. And Sam Strong has decreed that if Peter Valentine interferes in the match, Darryl Devine will automatically receive a shot at the USPW National Title at USPW March Madness. Grace Harper makes her USPW in-ring debut teaming up with Belle Bryden, & Brooke Tyler against Melody, Alicia Strong, & Joanne Rodriguez. In the first of two singles matches between the two tag teams, D.C. Rayne takes on Krusher Karloff. And in the main event, Nicky Champion takes on Jumbo Jackson.

<strong>Chris Caulfield © vs Carlos Gonzalez</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Up first is Chris Caulfield against Carlos Gonzalez for the USPW Television Title. As Gonzalez makes his way to the ring, and even early on in the match, Jillefski does a good job of talking him up and mentioning his late brother Shawn, talking about the unrealized potential in Carlos. I was hoping they would mention his hiatus, and personal demons, but obviously not the place for that. The match was solid, but in my estimation holds the dubious distinction of worst televised match in USPW for 2013. Caulfield makes defense number 2 after a Danger Drop.</p><p> </p><p>

Although she's apologetic, Devine wants no part of Seduction. He says that he's been working towards regaining the USPW National Title, and now that Peter Valentine has it, it's extra motivation. With his rematch tonight, he can't have her at ringside to possibly cost him the match again. Seduction tries to protest, but Devine gets more upset, telling her to stay backstage tonight. He tells her he has a match to get ready for, leaving Seduction upset. As Caulfield turns the corner, he finds a dejected Seduction and they begin to talk. Caulfield tells Seduction that he's there for her, in case she wants to talk. She hugs him, wiping tears away, and they go their separate ways.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Andre Jones Promo</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Andre Jones comes to the stage with a microphone. He says that at PPV he will take on Freddie Datsun. At first, he was going to seek revenge for Datsun costing him the USPW Television Title, but the more he thought about it, the more he realized he's got bigger goals in mind - like the USPW World Title. The fact that he'll be able to shove Freddie Datsun aside, and beat yet another past USPW World champion will cement him as a top contender. And speaking of which, he's accepting Enygma's challenge. Next week will be truly great - he'll beat two former USPW World champions in one week. After that, there's no way ANYONE will be able to deny his talents.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Darryl Devine vs Casey Valentine</strong></p><p> </p><p>

In a rematch from last week, in possibly his last attempt to gain a USPW National Title shot against Peter Valentine, Darryl Devine took on Casey Valentine. Conspicuous by his absence was Peter Valentine. I guess he really took the message from Sam Strong earlier tonight to heart. With it being an even playing field, Devine looked to be in firm control when suddenly the big screen comes to life with some images from the backstage area. Peter Valentine is looking directly at the camera and has a message for Darryl Devine. He says he should really keep a closer eye on Seduction...there's no telling what might happen to a valet when she's by herself. As he says that, the camera pans over to show the locker room area, where Seduction is sitting, visibly shaken from her earlier episode with Devine. Valentine bursts in and begins to harrass her, likely in an attempt to cause Devine to come for the save (and be counted out of his match). Devine hesitates, thinking about it, but decides to finish Casey Valentine off with a Devine Dream Drop for the pin, before making his way backstage.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Backstage Drama</strong></p><p> </p><p>

As Devine makes his way backstage, the scene continues to play out on the big screen. Valentine is getting dangerously close to Seduction when he gets struck with a chair to the back. As the camera pans over, it's none other than Chris Caulfield! The USPW Television champion stands over Peter Valentine, telling him to watch his back next time. Caulfield picks him up and throws him out of the room. Seduction hugs Caulfield and thanks him, telling him she's lucky that they had been talking moments before this happened, which led to Caulfield being just outside the room.</p><p> </p><p>

As they are hugging, Devine makes his way to the locker room. He notices Valentine slumped over against the wall and looks confused. He walks in to see Seduction and Caulfield breaking off their embrace. Devine looks jealous, but quickly thanks Caulfield, telling him he's got it from here. As Caulfield leaves, it looks as though Devine is ready to get into another argument with Seduction, so he slams the door in the cameraman's face.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Alicia Strong, Joanne Rodriguez, & Melody vs Belle Bryden, Brooke Tyler & Grace Harper</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The next match is the 6 Woman Tag match. While the participants all have their differences between them (Harper & Melody and Tyler/Bryden & Alicia/J-Ro), this match was a vehicle to promote the USPW Women's title match that's taking place at March Madness. As such, not much was resolved between Bryden/Tyler and Alicia/J-Ro. However, Grace Harper fired the first shot, pinning Melody after a Fisherman's Suplex. The other two heels kept the faces away from breaking up the pin.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Enygma Promo</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Back from the break, Enygma is backstage. He tells Andre Jones that all those USPW Television Title defenses haven't prepared him for the challenges ahead. He warns Andre Jones that he should not look too far ahead - a loss to Enygma, then a loss to Freddie Datsun, and all the progress he thinks he's made could be undone.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>D.C. Rayne vs Krusher Karloff</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Natasha Snow is with Krusher Karloff backstage. She says she welcomes the challenge put forth by Persephone on behalf of Natural Storm. And what a better way to lead into March Madness than by decimating each member of Natural Storm separately. That will make taking the titles off them that much easier.</p><p> </p><p>

Unfortunately for Natasha Snow and The Cold Warriors, things did not go as planned in the match between D.C. Rayne and Krusher Karloff. Karloff tried to overpower Rayne, but in the end was outsmarted, setting up the Storm Damage for the pin.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Savage Fury Backstage</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Savage Fury are backstage watching on a monitor. They comment amongst themselves that Natural Storm and The Cold Warriors can beat each other up. But after the dust settles at March Madness, whoever wins will be looking at them as the next challengers. An argument can be made that they are the most accomplished tag team in USPW history.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Video Recap: T-Rex Turns on Sneer Corporation</strong></p><p> </p><p>

We are shown a short recap video of what happened during last week's main event - specifically the actions by T-Rex, and the ensuing brawl with Jumbo Jackson. With Nicky Champion taking on Jumbo Jackson tonight, you can be sure T-Rex won't be far behind.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Nicky Champion vs Jumbo Jackson (w/ The Sneer Corporation)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Shane Sneer is backstage with members of the Sneer Corporation. He says that with the exception of T-Rex leaving The Corporation last week, things are going according to plan. By the time Nicky Champion gets to March Madness, his desire to please the fans night in and night out will cost him the title. </p><p> </p><p>

In one of the better TV main events USPW has produced this year, Nicky Champion took on Jumbo Jackson in a non-title match. The match was even throughout, despite the constant threat of interference from The Towers of Power. As the match was winding down, and Nicky Champion looked like he would finish Jumbo Jackson off, The Towers of Power made their presence felt. Both Rushmore and Muscles broke up the Hawkeye Hammer attempt and began to beat down Nicky Champion. Unable to keep control of the match, the referee called for the bell. Officially, the match is awarded to Champion via DQ.</p><p> </p><p>

As the assault continues, James Justice runs out with a chair, ready to clean house. Not long after, T-Rex does the same. They fend off The Towers of Power, each exiting on opposite sides of the ring, so as T-Rex and James Justice back into the middle of the ring, they bump into each other. They turn around quickly, chairs drawn back. Despite being on the same side now, there's still some distrust between T-Rex and James Justice (understandable, given their history), but T-Rex is the first to drop the chair and extend his hand. Justice does the same, and shakes T-Rex's hand. The two of them and Nicky Champion celebrate as the show goes off the air.</p><p> </p><p>

USPW All Star Wrestling (Monday Week 3 March 2013)

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee200/CQI13/USPW/AllStarWrestlingTV.png

These are the results from USPW All Star Wrestling, being held by United States Pro Wrestling. It is being held in front of 12,000 people at CT Mohegan Sun Arena and is being shown live on USA Sports 1.

Sam Strong Intro

Sam Strong comes out to open the show and does a great job hyping the March Madness PPV this Sunday. He highlights the USPW World Title match between Nicky Champion & Bruce The Giant. To be honest though, I'm personally more interested in the Darryl Devine/Seduction situation, not to mention he's going for the USPW National Title. And I might be the only one intrigued by Grace Harper going for the USPW Women's Title...can you imagine if she were to defend it in AAA?

USPW Television Title

Chris Caulfield © vs Billy Russell

The night's first match is Chris Caulfield's USPW Television Title defense against FCW's Billy Russell. The announcers played up Russell's MMA background, and he was technically the defacto heel (not being a USPW guy), but he didn't take any shortcuts against the Television champ. Russell had him on the ropes a few times, but Caulfield retained after a Danger Drop.

After the match, Caulfield went to Russell and offered his hand as a sign of respect for putting up a great fight. Russell doesn't hesitate, and the two shake hands. Jillefski talks about the good sportsmanship shown by Russell, and takes a subtle jab at Andre Jones. Emily McQueen reminds him that only losers are expected to show good sportsmanship. All Andre Jones has done is win.

Andre Jones Promo

Speaking of which, Andre Jones comes out to the top of the ramp, microphone in hand. He says he remembers that first show of the year when he won the USPW Television Title defeating three other men (four if you count how he took out Freddie Datsun before the match). He then talked about the very successful reign that followed, until that has been Freddie Datsun decided to interfere. Like he said last week, he's not bitter about it. He's got his sights set on bigger things now - but this Sunday, he's going to take care of the unfinished business with Freddie Datsun. After Sunday night, what he did to Datsun in January is going to seem like a walk in the park.

Eddie Howard vs Petr Novak

Natasha Snow is backstage with her clients The Cold Warriors. She said last week, D.C. Rayne got lucky against Krusher Karloff, but things would be much different when Eddie Howard takes on Petr Novak.

The announcers then send it to Natural Storm's locker room, where Eddie Howard is getting ready in the background while Persephone addresses the camera. She says she's looking forward to tonight's match, when Edde Howard will pin Petr Novak, leaving no doubt heading into March Madness who the elite team is in USPW.

It looked as though this match would be a repeat of the Krusher Karloff vs D.C. Rayne match. Unfortunately for Howard, he's not as adept at the high risk maneuvers as Rayne. Trying to come off the top rope with a double axe handle, Novak caught Howard with a Chokeslam, which won the match.

Seduction, Caulfield, and Devine Backstage

As we go backstage, we see Seduction nervously pacing around. She's approached by Chris Caulfield as he rounds the corner. The two begin to talk, and Seduction explains the situation - Devine seems obsessed with taking the belt from Peter Valentine, even if it puts her in harm's way. She again reminds Caulfield how grateful she was to have him there last week, she doesn't know how things would have ended up otherwise. As the two hug, Devine walks into the shot. Though he seemed fine when he entered, his demeanor immediately changed upon seeing them hugging each other. Enraged, he confronts Caulfield about wanting to take Seduction from him. Before Caulfield is able to explain, he grabs Seduction by the wrist and storms out. As he does, we hear him tell Seduction that he doesn't need these distractions she's causing leading into the PPV this Sunday.

Grace Harper Promo

After a commercial break, we are greeted by the announcers discussing Grace Harper taking on Melody for the USPW Women's Title this Sunday. Jillefski cautions that Melody will have to watch out for Harper's experience, while Emily McQueen is already looking forward to Grace Harper's first title defense outside USPW!

As they talk about this, Harper's music hits, and she comes out to the ring. She taunts the fans in attendance, telling them they're looking at the next USPW Women's champion. Because she's so benevolent, she'll take it upon herself to bring more attention to the USPW Women's Division. And what a better way to do that than by defending the title on shows outside USPW? But she tells the fans not to worry...she'll give them opportunities to watch some title defenses here as well.

The Chosen Ones Promo

Peter Valentine is backstage with Casey Valentine. Despite Casey's loss to Devine last week, which earned Devine the title shot this Sunday, the pair seem to be in good spirits. Peter says that despite Devine earning a title shot, his head is obviously not in the game right now. Proving, once again, that Peter Valentine is better than Darryl Devine!

Enygma vs Andre Jones

Prior to the match, Enygma is backstage. He says that he's looking forward to his match against Andre Jones, because Jones hasn'ne up against anyone of his caliber. And obviously, he's focused on Sunday night already. Enygma says that's a dangerous thing to do. Because once he makes Jones submbit, he'll be asking himself 'what happened!?!?' all the way to Sunday.

Enygma was correct - this was the first real test faced by Andre Jones (no offense to Chris Caulfield, who seemed to be the beneficiary of Jones outgrowing the belt). And he performed admirably. Likely due to working with a great opponent, Jones had one of his best matches to date. The heat from the crowd, while not palpable, was certainly much greater than the one he'd been garnering in previous matches. And while Jones did not look outclassed, it did appear as though he would fall to Enygma. However, as Enygma was going for his patented Enygma Variation, Jones rolled him up and grabbed a handful of tights for the win!

Jones didn't stick around long to celebrate, and as he retreated backstage he grabbed a microphone. He taunted Enygma, and reminded the fans that not only had he won, he had outsmarted a wiley veteran. Sunday will only be a detour on his way to a World Title match (and eventual win).

Nicky Champion, James Justice, & T-Rex vs The Sneer Corporation (Jumbo Jackson, Mick Muscles, Danny Rushmore)

As Jillefski and McQueen argue about the merits of Andre's victory, Brock Cornish has to play peacemaker and says the main event of the night is just around the corner. But first, a preview of the Nicky Champion vs Bruce The Giant match that will headline USPW March Madness this Sunday. The video begins with scenes from Bruce's early run with USPW, and his change once he was brought into the Sneer Corporation. They showed his more dominating performances (cleverly leaving out his impromptu match with James Justice in January). Throughout the build, they hyped Nicky Champion's rise to the belt and his ongoing war against Shane Sneer and The Sneer Corporation. Bruce seemed to grow stronger in the video, with Nicky Champion having a much tougher time...punctuated with the Giant Headbutt/Giant Chokeslam combination at House Party. Can Nicky Champion overcome his biggest challenge to date?

Shane Sneer is backstage with The Sneer Corporation. He says there's a lot of issues to deal with in the 6 Man Match. You have T-Rex sealing his fate, by turning on The Sneer Corporation...James Justice just being a pest in general...and last but not least, Nicky Champion making his final appearance on USPW television with the USPW World Title belt. And while a win would be nice, Sneer has instructed his charges that the more important objective tonight is to soften up the other side for their matches this Sunday!

The heels showed a cohesion that comes from being a stable, and they seemed to have a gameplan from the beginning. The constant distractions by Shane Sneer certainly helped as well. And while individually the faces have more going for them, the heels were able to capitalize on some mistakes. Overall, Champion was targeted the most by all three members. Justice was able to make a small comeback against the heel side, but in the end, a Jumbo Avalanche on T-Rex won the match for The Sneer Corporation. Champion & Justice were unable to break up the pin, as they were fighting outside against The Towers of Power. As the show ends, The Sneer Corporation stands victorious in the ring, Shane Sneer gloating about the victory tonight, and the upcoming victories this Sunday!

News & Notes

*USPW All Star Wrestling received a 6.48 TV Rating. This is up from last week's 6.17.

*Management is reportedly thrilled with the go home show. It certainly got the desired rating, but as a fan, I'm not sure it was as good as they believe it to be. The pacing seemed to be off, but I guess with it being the go home show before the PPV, there had to be some extra build up via angles and videos.

*A huge week for mistaken with a perfect score. Heading into the USPW March Madness PPV, the standings are as follows:

Know Your Enemy: 5 wins (21/25, 0.840)

mistaken: 5 wins (18/25, 0.720)

USPW March Madness (Sunday Week 3 March 2013)

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee200/CQI13/USPW/PPV%20Events/MarchMadnessTV.png

These are the results from USPW March Madness 2013, being held by United States Pro Wrestling. It is being held in front of 25,000 people at ND Fargodome and is live on Pay-Per-View.

Sam Strong Promo

Sam Strong opens the show and gives the run down of the card. As expected, much of the attention is given to the USPW World Title match between Nicky Champion and Bruce The Giant. Let's not forget Andre Jones finally makes his PPV debut of 2014, all the titles (except for the USPW Television Title) are at stake tonight!

Freddie Datsun vs Andre Jones

The first match of the PPV is between Andre Jones and Freddie Datsun. Creative gave it enough time to develop, and the action was good. Unfortunately, most of the crowd (if not all) already had it in their heads that Andre Jones would be victorious. That, and Freddie Datsun only being used sporadically during the build up didn't do much to hype the match. Jones had the clear advantage in athleticism, but Datsun used his smarts to reverse or escape certain moves. In the end, Jones hit the Blast From The Past on Datsun for the win.

After the match, Jones grabbed a chair from the outside and brought it into the ring. He landed a few chairshots to the back of Datsun until the referee (Baby Jamie) tried to stop him. As Jones tried to bully the referee, Enygma came down from the rafters. Standing in the middle of the ring with a bat in his hand, he and Jones came face to face. As Jones looked to take a swing with the chair, Enygma lifted the bat and pointed it at him. Jones seemed to think better of it and dropped the chair exiting the ring. As Jones went to the back, Enygma checked on Freddie Datsun.

USPW National Title

Darryl Devine vs Peter Valentine © (with Casey Valentine)

Peter Valentine makes his way to the ring with his nephew Casey not far behind. We take a look backstage, where Darryl Devine is arguing with Seduction. She wants to accompany him to ringside, but he keeps repeating that he doesn't need any distractions tonight! He leaves her backstage, annoyed at her nagging. He makes his way out to the ring, his demeanor changing almost immediately when he goes through the curtain as he plays to the crowd.

As Peter Valentine matches go, this one wasn't so bad. Casey did a good job of keeping the interference away from the referee, Peter getting the upper hand whenever it looked like Devine would make a comeback. Tired of seeing Devine's chance at the USPW National Title possibly slip away, Seduction made her way to ringside. The Chosen Ones had obviously planned for this, as Casey immediately turned his attention to Seduction. Casey stalking Seduction around the ring distracted Devine, which opened the door for Peter Valentine to attempt The Heart Breaker. Somehow, Devine managed to reverse it into a Devine Dream Drop. As Valentine hits the mat, Casey grabbed Seduction by the hair. Devine hesitates for a moment, looking at the prone USPW National champion, then at his valet, before deciding to go for the pin.

As the pin is happening, Chris Caulfield rushes from the back and decks Casey Valentine, who has no choice but to release his grip on Seduction. Devine briefly celebrates before going to ringside and checking on Seduction. Well, that and to make sure she knows that he's won the USPW National Title (at first glance his intent was unclear). He also asks Caulfield to leave, as he and Seduction have to celebrate now! Seduction isn't exactly pleased with what just went down, but is not looking to cause any problems, so she leaves with Devine. She does, however, look back at Caulfied and mouths "Thank You" as she's being led away.

USPW World Tag Team Titles

Natural Storm © (w/ Persephone) vs The Cold Warriors (w/ Natasha Snow)

Danny Jillefski and Emily McQueen argue about what just went down, with Brock Cornish unable to get a word in, until he sends it backstage, where Persephone is with her clients Natural Storm. She says this past week was nothing but a fluke, and that together, Natural Storm are better than any team in USPW.

The announcers then send it to The Cold Warriors' locker room, where Natasha Snow is with her clients. She looks fantastic, by the way. She counters Persephone's claims by saying that tonight will be the beginning of The Cold Warriors and their reign of terror over the USPW Tag Team division.

This was a good match between two of the better teams in USPW. Natural Storm are certainly the more decorated team, but The Cold Warriors certainly have the potential to be dominant. Shame they didn't start tagging earlier on, as they could be much further along by now. As for the match, it was one of the better matches on the card. While the experience of Natural Storm was superior, The Cold Warriors were able to capitalize on some mistakes. A blind tag to Petr Novak curtailed the momentum Eddie Howard had been building, ending with a Choke Slam and the pin. The Cold Warriors win the USPW World Tag Team Titles!

Savage Fury Challenge The Cold Warriors

No sooner has the referee sounded the bell and handed The Cold Warriors the USPW World Tag Team Titles than Savage Fury come out to the stage. They say they had gone their separate ways for a little while, achieving singles success along the way. But they understand they are stronger as a team. And now that The Cold Warriors have the straps, they'll be gunning for them. They finish by telling Natasha & The Cold Warriors that their "reign of terror" might not be able to withstand the Savage Fury that is about to be unleashed!

Belle Bryden & Brooke Tyler Promo

Belle Bryden is backstage with Brooke Tyler. Bryden says that she's on a roll right now. Not only did she win the Fatal 4 Way on the debut of All Star Wrestling two weeks ago, she bested Alicia Strong in the 6 Woman Tag Match as well. In fact, she holds three wins against Alicia Strong in 2013. So whenever Alicia Strong and Joanne Rodriguez want another shot at them, they will be glad to beat them again.

Bruce The Giant Video

After a video of Bruce The Giant plays, highlighting some of the memorable moments in his career and leading up to the recent turn of events against Nicky Champion, the announcers talk about Bruce The Giant being a huge threat to Nicky Champion. And with all the matches Nicky Champion has had, he can't be 100% - something that Emily McQueen says is inconsequential. She says he agreed to the match, and now he has to go through with it. Jillefski argues that the last time we saw Bruce The Giant was exactly one month ago at USPW House Party. The two continue to bicker, though McQueen makes a good point: just because we haven't seen Bruce in a month doesn't mean he hasn't been training; Nicky Champion had the option to do the same. As has been commonplace by now, Brock Cornish has to play peacemaker, sending the cameras backstage as the champion and the challenger to the USPW Women's Title have some words before their match.

USPW Women's Title

Melody © vs Grace Harper

We are taken to Melody's locker room first, where she says that she's ready for her match against Grace Harper. She says that Harper got the best of her last time, but they have a history. And she's been victorious against her before. She says she doesn't understand how Grace Harper still dwells on what happened in the past. Melody hopes that after tonight Harper will be able to get past any perceived injustices.

We are then taken to Grace Harper's locker room, where she says she can't believe Melody is calling it a perceived injustice. Getting passed over, not getting a return title shot...those are all very real. Tonight she gets her shot at Melody on on one. And maybe she'll get a taste of her own medicine and not get a return match for the title.

During the opening moments of the match, Melody actually offered Grace Harper a handshake, which Harper quickly dismissed with a slap to the face. With the match in full swing, it was a very even match, with Grace Harper beginning to take control by being a savvy veteran and being able to bend the rules. She also was able to use the ring to her advantage, using the ropes to break any moves by Melody (and any momentum the champion was building). In the end, Grace Harper blocked Melody's suplex attempt and reversed it into a Fisherman's Suplex. The crowd is stunned when the bell rings and Grace Harper is handed the USPW Women's Title.

James Justice & T-Rex vs The Towers of Power (w/ Shane Sneer)

As the announcers talk of the implications of Harper winning the USPW Women's Title (what if she defends it outside of USPW and loses it? What if the belt is stolen by someone during her travels?), Brock Cornish says they have to get ready to call the next match. But first, the competitors have something to say. We go to The Sneer Corporation's locker room where Shane Sneer is standing by.

Sneer is standing by with Jumbo Jackson and The Towers of Power. He says that Monday night they proved T-Rex was the weak link when he was in The Sneer Corporation, and remains the weak link now. He says that they plan to target T-Rex again tonight, and he's confident of his team's chances against a makeshift team. The announcers then send it to T-Rex and James Justice who are backstage.

T-Rex and Justice are backstage, cutting a promo on their upcoming match against The Towers of Power. An interesting note on this segment: for the first time since his exit from The Sneer Corporation, T-Rex began to show a little more character. Wearing jeans, a leather jacket (with some motorcycle club insignia) and a black bandana, he looked perhaps even scarier than before. He still deferred to Justice when it came to speaking but he did his part by being menacing. Justice said the team had time to regroup after the setback on Monday night, and promised to dismantle The Towers of Power.

Early on in the match, Jumbo Jackson interfered and was sent to the back by the referee. The referee then threatened to send Shane Sneer to the back as well if he caught him interfering. This led to a fun turn of events where Sneer would try to interfere, but was thwarted as the referee would turn just in time. Unable to interfere, The Towers of Power were left on their own to get the job done. They did a good job controlling Justice early on, but the hot tag to T-Rex changed things. Shedding the tag of "weak link," T-Rex submitted Danny Rushmore with the Jurassic Crush as James Justice fought Mick Muscles off.

USPW World Title

Nicky Champion © vs Bruce The Giant

Nicky Champion is backstage getting ready for his match, when Alicia Strong stops by Nicky Champion's locker room to wish him good luck. She tells him she's confident that he will overcome this latest test, especially having overcome Baine twice in the last few months. He can tell that despite her vote of confidence, she's still nervous about what might happen tonight, and assures her he's up to the challenge - the stiff competition he faced leading to tonight has prepared him for Bruce The Giant.

As Bruce The Giant and Nicky Champion make their way to the ring, the announcers recap the night thus far - Jillefski worried about the Devine/Seduction situation, while McQueen is giddy about Grace Harper winning th USPW Women's Title. Brock Cornish for his part is excited to see what comes of the Enygma/Andre Jones situation, which seems far from resolved.

Nicky Champion continues to set the standard when it comes to pulling great matches out of anyone on the roster. When Creative saw how well Charlie Thatcher looked against him, I can only imagine what they thought was going to happen when he went up against the vastly more popular Bruce The Giant. It's a shame Bruce The Giant can't go long in the ring...luckily it's USPW and the fans ate it up anyway. Bruce The Giant's size gave him a great advantage in the match, neutralizing most of what Nicky Champion tried to do. The story of the match revolved around Champion trying to go for a bodyslam too early in the match and failing, selling the strain that put his back under. This provided the opening Bruce needed to take control of the match, targeting Nicky Champion's back. Eventually Champion made a comeback, but was unable to hook the arms for a Hawkeye Hammer. Bruce reversed it into a back bodydrop and followed it up with a Giant Headbutt.

As Nicky Champion staggered to his feet, Bruce signaled for the Giant Chokeslam, when suddenly...a hand rips through the bottom of the ring and grabs Champion by the leg. As the struggle continues, it is Tyson Baine who pops out from under the ring, and eventually is able to drag him into the hole. The announcers, as well as Shane Sneer, are in disbelief! When the smoke clears, both wrestlers have disappeared. With Danny Jillefski speechless, Emily McQueen muses that while it's a shame that Nicky Champion retained the belt (via DQ), his fate is now in the hands of Tyson Baine!

News & Notes

*Despite the critical acclaim of those who saw the event, USPW March Madness received a 1.26 buyrate (down from House Party's 1.34).

*We have learned that after the show, Petr Novak tested positive for steroids for the second time. Management was extremely disappointed, given the plans they have for The Cold Warriors, and Novak in particular. Sources close to the situation tell us Novak was upset at himself at the meeting for having let management down, going as far as to say: "I'm really sorry for letting you down, you have my word tht I'll try my hardest to get clean." We'll have to see if this affects the push The Cold Warriors are going to receive.

*Freddie Datsun has impressed management with the match he had with Andre Jones at the PPV. Despite beginning to slow down in the ring, he still proved to be a good worker to pair up with Andre Jones. This might land him a spot in GCW:TX as a trainer. If not, there's word that he might be used as a Road Agent on the main roster, should the staff be re-shuffled.

*With the exception of the main event and semi main event, the crowd seemed to be sitting on their hands for most of the night (with the obvious exception of some big spots, like a finisher). This should be troubling to USPW management, as Creative isn't able to garner enough fan interest in more than two matches. Even so, USPW March Madness is being talked about as a rousing success by those who saw the PPV.

*Here are the final standings for the Q1 Prediction Contest:

mistaken: 6 wins (22/31, 0.710)

Know Your Enemy: 5 wins (21/25, 0.840)

midnightnick: 2 win (15/28, 0.535)

DAVEFAN95: 1 win (6/7, 0.857)

Hitman74: 1 win (3/4, 0.750)

mistaken wins the first contest with a strong push at the end. The Q2 Prediction Contest will include a few extra weeks, as it will start March Week 4 and end June Week 4.

Just 24 hours removed from USPW March Madness, and we are left with unanswered questions...

Where is Nicky Champion? He hasn't been seen since the controversial ending to his match against Bruce The Giant...

How will The Chosen Ones - in particular Peter Valentine - react to the loss to Darryl Devine?

Speaking of Darryl Devine, now that he has recaptured the USPW National Title will his demeanor change?

Plus, Tyson Baine makes his in ring return in USPW, and The Towers of Power have revenge on their mind when they take on James Justice & T-Rex in a return match from last night.

All this, and much more, when USPW All Star Wrestling comes to you live from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA.

USPW All Star Wrestling (Monday Week 4 March 2013)

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee200/CQI13/USPW/AllStarWrestlingTV.png

These are the results from USPW All Star Wrestling, being held by United States Pro Wrestling. It is being held in front of 17,178 people at PA Wells Fargo Center and is being shown live on USA Sports 1.

Sam Strong Promo Interrupted by Sneer...

Sam Strong comes out to open the show. However, tonight he seems distracted. He says he would love to celebrate USPW's success last night, but the events that brought the night to a close make it difficult to do that. He says that Nicky Champion has not been seen since last night. As of right now, he's worried for Nicky's safety.

He's interrupted by Shane Sneer, who comes out to the stage. He says that if Nicky Champion doesn't turn up - terrible tragedy, he says disingenously - then the belt should be awarded to Bruce The Giant. After all, he was controlling the match last night. And if it hadn't been for Tyson Baine interfering, The Sneer Corporation would be celebrating in the ring right now.

...and Tyson Baine

Pyro explodes, and out comes Tyson Baine from under the stage, slowly being raised on a platform. He glares at Sneer and tells him the reason he took Champion was to guarantee himself a shot at the title, not to help Sneer's cause. He turns to Sam Strong and says that he's willing to return Nicky Champion to safety...if he's granted a USPW World Title match at USPW Spring Breakout. And if Sam Strong doesn't agree to this, then he's prepared to show the world the punishment he'll put Nicky Champion through, an unsanctioned match of sorts at the PPV, and that would be on Strong's head.

USPW Television Title

Chris Caulfield © vs Steven Parker

Chris Caulfield continues to give top talent from outside USPW some exposure in USPW Television Title matches. This week, he takes on PSW talent Steven Parker. Both Caulfield and Parker shine in the match, but again, unless some of these outsiders are given some mic time or character development, the crowd won't care - it's not like they're going to win the belt out of the blue. As expected, Caulfield got the pin after a Danger Drop.

As he celebrated in the ring, Peter and Casey Valentine come through the crowd and attack Chris Caulfield. As they are putting the boots to him, the former USPW National champion tells Caulfield he shouldn't have stuck his nose where it didn't belong. As Casey Valentine set Caulfield up for a Deep Impact onto the Television title, Seduction comes through the curtain. She's quickly followed by Darryl Devine, who is trying to get her backstage. He eventually gives up the effort, and rushes to the ring, saving Chris Caulfield. With The Chosen Ones unable to finish the job, Caulfield offers Devine a handshake which Devine originally refuses. It wasn't until Seduction convinces him that Devine shakes Caulfield's hand. Seduction seems happier than Devine during the handshake.

Melody Promo

We go backstage, where Melody is standing by. She looks dejected at last night's loss to Grace Harper and says that she let herself down, and she let the USPW fans down. She says she hopes she's granted a rematch so she can redeem herself.

Back at the announce table, Emily McQueen says that the only thing that would happen if Melody had a rematch against Grace Harper would be that she'd embarrass herself & USPW as a whole. She repeats what Grace Harper had said before, about not giving her a rematch - and says that even if Harper did, the Championship Committee should really think twice about it, with how Melody performed.

USPW Women's Title

Grace Harper © vs Alexis Lee Littlefeather

Speaking of Grace Harper, she successfully defended the USPW Women's Title against QAW's Alexis Lee Littlefeather. Though the match wasn't really given enough time to develop, both women showed they were talented, with the in-ring action being solid throughout. Both of these women could be useful additions to USPW - Grace Harper is showing that already. Grace Harper used the Fisherman's Suplex to put Alexis Lee Littlefeather away.

Andre Jones vs Billy Russell

Andre Jones is backstage getting ready for his match against Billy Russell. He says that last night, the world got a chance to see the perfect athlete in action against a has-been like Freddie Datsun. He says Enygma is just upset that he lost to Andre Jones leading up to USPW March Madness. But if he wants to be another rung on his way to the top, Jones will gladly beat him again, only this time on PPV.

Creative must be really pleased, as Andre Jones has really stepped his game up against top competition. Hard to tell whether it's the better talent making him look good or if he has improved appreciaby. Regardless, Jones has had a good string of matches now. Eventually USPW will be able to match the action in the ring with the crowd heat (in the undercard matches) - the talent seems to be there. After a Blast From The Past, Andre Jones picked up the win.

Enygma Promo

Following the match, Andre Jones went outside the ring and came back with a chair. As he prepares to strike Billy Russell, the lights go out, and green fog surrounds the ring. Enygma appears on the big screen with a message for Andre Jones. It looks as though Enygma is in the rafters, but it's too dark to tell where exactly. He tells Jones that he can strike at any time, and Jones wouldn't even see it coming. Jones looks skyward to see if he can see anything in the rafters, and a spotlight begins to move about. At 3 different times a shadow is visible in different parts of the rafters, causing Jones to decide it might be better to not test Enygma this time. Enygma says that as far as the match at USPW Spring Breakout, he accepts the challenge. Jones throws the chair down and exits the ring. When he's about halfway up the ramp, the lights come on, and Enygma is in the middle of the ring, pointing the green baseball bat at Andre Jones.

Nicky Champion in Tyson Baine's Dungeon

Alicia Strong Strong and Joanne Rodriguez are in the locker room discussing strategy for their match against Belle Bryden & Brooke Tyler next week, when the monitors throughout the arena (including the big screen) go grainy, and on comes some surveillance footage. As the security camera swivels, we see a dimly lit dungeon with a figure sitting in the corner. He looks around frantically, and seems to be calling out for help (there's no sound on the footage). The figure gets up and starts looking around, and sees the security camera. As he approaches it, we can tell it's Nicky Champion! He gets close to the camera and looks into it, asking for help. When he sees that none is coming, he grabs the camera and rips it out of the wall, cutting the feed.

Alicia Strong Pleads with Sam Strong

Rodriguez gets cut off midsentence by Alicia who takes off, running out of the locker room. While Rodriguez understands the severity of the situation, she still seems upset by Alicia running out. She follows her, and they end up in Sam Strong's office. Alicia speaks to Sam as a daughter, not a wrestler, pleading for him to do whatever it takes to get Nicky Champion back to safety. Sam tells her he's doing everything he can to make sure that happens.

The Cold War Begins

Natasha Snow is backstage with her clients, the new USPW World Tag Team Champions, The Cold Warriors! She says the Tag Team Titles were just the beginning - she says she had just gotten off the phone with her boss - and the plan is now in motion to expand her army and capture the other titles in USPW. But while that happens, there are some pests to take care of, namely Savage Fury. She says she looks forward to The Cold Warriors disposing of Savage Fury at the USPW Spring Breakout PPV. She also says that at some point down the line she expects to face Natural Storm again, but not until they've earned their shot.

Running Wolf vs Tyson Baine

Tyson Baine comes out to the ring, again coming up through the stage. He grabs a microphone and says that what they saw earlier was a live feed. So they can be sure that Nicky Champion is safe, at least for now. But if he's not granted a match, he'll have his own - and there is no telling what might happen in a dungeon match. But tonight, he's looking for fresh competition. A wolf is heard howling, and out comes Running Wolf!

Stop the search! Running Wolf is indeed still employed! I was beginning to wonder - last time we saw him, Andre Jones won the USPW Television Title. Yes, it was that long ago. There seemed to be little doubt that Tyson Baine would win this, but he wasn't going to throw Running Wolf around like a rag doll. The muscular Native American held his own against Tyson Baine, but Baine's experience came through. Running Wolf seemed to have him staggering, but as he ran the ropes to knock him down with a clothesline, Tyson Baine executed a perfect Hades Bomb. He was playing possum!

Belle Bryden & Brooke Tyler Promo

Belle Bryden is backstage with Brooke Tyler. Bryden comments on the fact that Alicia Strong seems to have other things on her mind, something that will cost her dearly next week. She even hints at having Brooke Tyler get the pin, for the boost that would give the youngster.

T-Rex's Past Catches Up to Him

Before the segment airs, the announcers warn us that the following footage is not suitable for children. We see the outside of the Fargodome. From the timestamp, it's after the PPV concluded, with several wrestlers making their way out of the building. We hear a young kid, excited to have been at the event talking with his mother (who is holding the camera). The kid appears most excited to see T-Rex, and wants to get an autograph. As he approaches T-Rex (the mother a short distance behind) the roar of motorcycles draws near. They go after the T-Rex, who is taken by surprise. The mother drops the camera and rushes her kid to safety, as the two bikers attack T-Rex. The video (at this point sideways from how the camera landed on the ground) captures the beatdown, which ends with one of the bikers ripping the motorcycle club insignia from T-Rex's leather jacket. The second biker tells T-Rex he gave up the honor of representing the colors a long time ago, punctuating the statement with a kick to the gut. In an image seldom seen in the ring, the menacing T-Rex is left groaning on the pavement.

James Justice vs The Towers of Power

James Justice is backstage, having just seen the footage from last night. He says that explains why he hadn't been able to find T-Rex. Despite the fact that The Sneer Corporation doesn't seem to be involved in the attack, he's not going to give Shane Sneer the satisfaction of a victory via forfeit. So he'll take on The Towers of Power by himself!

You have to admire his confidence, and despite the fact that The Towers of Power (and The Sneer Corporation as a whole) have seen a slide in their recent forturnes, The Towers of Power against any one wrestler would be a tall order. Justice seemed to have a plan though - isolate Danny Rushmore in the ring, to make it a one on one match. As a one on one match, it was even throughout, with Justice even getting the upper hand. Unfortunately, as he shot Danny Rushmore to the ropes to set up the Liberation Slam, Mick Muscles made a blind tag to become the legal man. Having not gotten the three count, Mick Muscles surprised him with a Bulldozer Powerbomb for the win.

USPW All Star Wrestling (Monday Week 1 April 2013)

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee200/CQI13/USPW/AllStarWrestlingTV.png

These are the results from USPW All Star Wrestling, being held by United States Pro Wrestling. It is being held in front of 14,248 people at SC Colonial Life Arena and is being shown live on USA Sports 1.

Sam Strong Provides an Update

Sam Strong comes out to the stage to open the show. He says he's been conferring with the Championship Committee trying to find a resolution to the Tyson Baine situation. He says that he does not want to set the precedent that you can circumvent the rules and get title shots by hook and by crook. He says that it is their position not to negotiate with Tyson Baine at this time.

James Hernandez vs Casey Valentine

The opening match of the night was between Casey Valentine and James Hernandez. The seldom used Hernandez and Casey Valentine put on a decent match - hopefully the crowd reaction improves as they gain more visibility. Peter Valentine was conspicuous by his absence during the match, but I had a feeling he'd show himself soon enough. During a sequence of reversals, Hernandez surprised Casey Valentine with a Super Kick, seemingly out of nowhere for the win.

Sure enough, as Hernandez celebrates, Peter Valentine comes out from the back and attacks him. Casey Valentine is back on his feet and quickly joins in. If not for KC Glenn making the save, the beatdown could have been much worse. Glenn goes after Casey first, which allows Hernandez just enough to recover and fight off Peter. The Chosen Ones leave, but not before threatening Glenn & Hernandez that they're messing with the wrong people.

Savage Fury vs Charlie Thatcher & Steven Parker

Natasha Snow is backstage with The Cold Warriors. She says that Savage Fury can face whomever they want to try to prepare for their match against The Cold Warriors, but there is no one in USPW that can match the awesome power they have. And even if they do find a tag team like that, Savage Fury still have to account for her being at ringside. Either way, she says she'll be watching their upcoming match.

Natasha Snow was right - Savage Fury's opponents don't quite compare to The Cold Warriors. Thatcher continues to be the token big man everyone uses to prepare for a match. But neither Cold Warrior really equates with Steven Parker. The match itself was solid (not bad considering who was in the ring). But fans care about Savage Fury (marginally) and not at all about Thatcher. Parker is the wild card, but they haven't gotten to know him, and probably won't this time around. Thatcher plodded around most of the match, with Parker getting some offense in towards the end. Java no-sells some of Parker's offense to set up a Greetings From The Island for the win.

Jillefski congratulates Savage Fury on their win, but McQueen is less willing to praise - she says The Cold Warriors will make quick work of Savage Fury at the PPV. To be fair, I'm not sure it will be so quick. They match strengths, and I don't think The Cold Warriors will be able to throw them around like rag dolls. Should make for a compelling match at the PPV.

A Devine Challenge is Answered

Coming back from commercials, Darryl Devine is in the ring, the USPW National Title on his shoulder. Seduction is with him, but a few steps behind him, eyes cast downward. Devine says that he's ready to defend his USPW National Title against some fresh competition. Rather than look outside USPW, he's looking to go up against the best USPW has to offer (a dig at Chris Caulfield perhaps?). No sooner does he say this than The Sneer Corporation's music hit and out comes Shane Sneer with Jumbo Jackson and The Towers of Power behind him.

As they approach the ring, Seduction quickly exits and stands behind the announcers. Maybe not the brightest move, as I doubt the announcers could stop any of the Sneer Corporation members, but to her credit it appears to be the safer bet when compared to inside the ring.

Sneer comes down the ramp with a microphone and tells Devine that since he said ANYONE, he's got three members who are all itching to get some gold for The Sneer Corporation. As he stands the at the foot of the ramp, the three Sneer Corporation members surround the ring. It looks like Devine's mouth might have written a check he can't cash. All three members fake going into the ring, with Devine making sudden movements to try to anticipate them. Sneer laughs, saying that he'll spare Devine tonight - but Devine won't find out who his opponent is until the USPW Spring Breakout PPV.

The announcers talk about the bombshell that Sneer just dropped tonight, and wonder how Devine will prepare to face the three Sneer Corporation members. McQueen says that she's confident Devine will be up to the challenge, so long as Seduction doesn't screw things up.

T-Rex's Past Comes Back to Haunt Him

After that unnecessary comment, Brock Cornish sends it backstage where T-Rex is being interviewed. There's a bubbly blonde interviewing T-Rex, who doesn't do much to clarify the situation we saw last week. The only thing he says is that what led to this is in the past, and he's not looking to discuss it.

Disappointed to not get much out of T-Rex, she leaves. As soon as she does, T-Rex is attacked one more time by the two bikers. This time, we get a better look at them. Hey, that's Knuckles and Shady K - as of yet unnamed in USPW. The two-on-one overwhelms T-Rex again. As they leave the scene, they tell him "The Boss" wants to see him. After the announcers discuss who these attackers are and what their connection to T-Rex could be, they play a pre-taped message from The Force.

A Message From The Force

The Force is on the screen and says that he's meditated about what's happened to Nicky Champion, and during this time, he was visited by his ancestors who urged him to save Champion. He says that tonight, Tyson Baine will FEEL THE FORCE - and when he's done with him in the ring, he will learn of the location where Champion is being held so he may deliver him from harm. Um, yeah, ok...

USPW Television Title

Chris Caulfield © vs Tennessee William

The next match is between Chris Caulfield and Tennessee William (he's from NYCW I think). Seriously, if you're going to go after talent from there, at least go after Roger Cage. Caulfield and William put on a solid enough match, but if Creative isn't going to be invested in these Television Title matches, then the fans won't be either. I guess the one positive thing coming out of these matches is seeing new talent (if most of the people they've brought in can be considered that). William gets enough offense in to not make it a squash, but Caulfield wins with a Danger Drop.

Andre Jones Calls Out Enygma

After a break, Andre Jones comes out to the ring. He says he's tired of Enygma being a coward and hiding in the rafters and using smoke and mirrors to try and intimidate him. He says Enygma is only doing that because he knows who would win in the ring. He says he'll use that PPV victory as a springboard to a USPW World Title shot.

As he continues his tirade against Enygma, the microphone cuts out a few times. When he confronts the ring announcer, a green fog surrounds the ring and the big screen comes alive with the image of Enygma. He says he's tired of hearing all the complaining, so next week, he'll meet Andre Jones in the ring face to face.

"No one can find out about this..."

A reporter is walking backstage, a camera crew following him. They look to be approaching Sam Strong's office, when he turns around and tells the crew to quiet down. The door is ajar, so the camera peers in. Sam Strong is on the phone, discussing bussiness (or personal) matters. We only hear one side of the conversation, with Strong saying that "no one can find out about this" and "this can't be leaked." The reporter smiles at the camera as he jots something down on a little memo book and leaves with his crew.

The announcers speculate what Strong was referring to with his "this can't be leaked" comment, when a message appears on the big screen. Simple, yet ominous, it reads:

HE'S COMING!

After seeing the message, Jillefski is positive this is what Strong was referring to - a big debut can't be leaked or it will lose its impact.

Alicia Strong & Joanne Rodriguez vs Belle Bryden & Brooke Tyler

The semi main event is the tag match between the teams of Belle Bryden & Brooke Tyler and Alicia Strong & Joanne Rodriguez. The action was good, as all four participants are talented, but the fans seem to care much more about the two USPW veterans. The match was very even, but it seemed the faces were going to get some measure of payback, with Joanne Rodriguez mounting a comeback against Belle Bryden. As she's going for the hot tag, security footage of Tyson Baine's Dungeon comes on the big screen. A sleep deprived Nicky Champion is stumbling about, looking for an exit, unsuccessfuly. Baine's sinister laugh can be heard in the background. Alicia jumps off the apron and heads towards the back, leaving a bewildered Joanne Rodriguez by herself. Belle Bryden takes the opportunity afforded by the distraction, and rolls Rodriguez up for the pin.

The cameras follow Alicia backstage, where she bumps into Running Wolf who is headed out of the arena. He says he's going to look for Champion, and Alicia invites herself to go with him.

The Force vs Tyson Baine

The main event of the night is the match between The Force and Tyson Baine. The crowd ate it up, especially as The Force played to the crowd. The fans are really getting behind anyone facing Tyson Baine, but only a crowd as delusional as a USPW crowd would believe The Force had any chance of winning this match. Despite a valiant effort by The Force, he falls victim to a Hades Bomb. As the show goes off the air, Baine is standing tall over The Force.

News & Notes

*USPW All Star Wrestling received a 7.30 TV Rating. This is up from last week's 6.32.

*It looks as though the roster continues to change in USPW, with Shady K & Knuckles coming in as the two bikers who have attacked T-Rex in recent weeks. No word on the length of their contract.

*Social media has been buzzing since last night when Roger Cage made his debut as the reporter eavesdropping on Sam Strong.

*A prominent tag team has been contacted to shore up the ranks. This has led to speculation that some of the current teams are on the bubble.

*Savage Fury's contract was said to be expiring soon, but USPW management extended it. Reports have their contract being a short term deal.

*This week's prediction winner was Know Your Enemy, who picked 3 out of the 5 matches correctly.

Know Your Enemy: 1 win

**OOC #1: For this prediction contest, the person who guesses the most matches correctly will get a win. From time to time there will be Bonus Questions which will serve as tie breakers. There will be prizes awarded throughout the contest, not just for the overall winner.
