At the end of 2013, Cliff Anderson's little promotion in the South West will be heading into it's 24th year in business. Something that most tape traders in the 90s didn't think would happen but with a hardcore fanbase, explosive action and a plethora of alumni like James Prudence, Rocky Golden and Ultimate Phoenix to name a few, the tiny little promotion in the south west has become a haven for hardcore fans who despise the mainstream wrestling that SWF has defined. Still, the Coastal Zone has seen better days and it's predicted that the next couple years will see high volume of turnover as mainstay workers in the company go on to bigger companies and better pay.

In shocking news, the Guru has decided to step down as head booker but will stay as color commentator as he wants to have more time with his family. These two men have been tight-lipped as to who will step up to the head booker position but it's not a secret that Anderson wants someone that knows the product to become the new head booker...

OOC and FYI:

1. This save is with the 2014 data, which is obvious from the start. Also, I didn't intend to use it for a diary so I'm actually playing catch up with where I'm at in the save. However, I think this will be a good advantage when looking at long term ideas and such.

2. Since I didn't intend to start a diary with this save, I usually play in sandbox style. This means there won't be any owner goals in-game but that doesn't mean I'm not going to give some sort of goal in the story of the dynasty.

3. The match/angle ratio is still at 90% level so all of the angles and storylines will be for the dynasty itself. Plus, what kind of wresting company just has all matches anyways?

4. I've put a lot of thought into this and hope that people will read. However, I have enjoyed brainstorming a lot of ideas and I'm not really trying to write this for a huge audience, I just want to write a cool story about characters I love in the CZCW roster. I also have to thank TakerNGN74 for helping me out with some ideas while we hung out watching wrestling and stuff.

5. I'm not sure if I'm going to put up a roster for this save, the first post is not a lie, there is a LOT of turnover in this save. Maybe I will put up the core roster at some point but I'm not totally sure. I'd say if you're reading this then you know the roster well and want to see these characters in a cool story.

6. This may or may not have an end... I'm not sure yet. Some stories don't need endings... I'll just leave it at that.

The match finish came when all four were stacked in the corner, Jake Idol was sent to the outside and then Sparrow finally hit the Bird Brain Buster with Flash following up with a High Velocity Senton for the win! I have hardly ever played CZCW with angles not because I believe it is against the product but mostly because they tend to bomb and bring my show rating down (Even when I have angles set to 80%) so I will be interested in seeing how you run angles here.

Plus I always thought a show should have some angles, because without them I do not think the show would be all that interesting.

As far as playing sandbox goes, well I do not have a problem with it because that is how I play all of my games as well. I feel too restricted with owner goals so I do not blame you for having them off.

Going Coastal was a little off in this match as they struggled to challenge the champs. However, a cool spot saw Flash try to dive out of the ring onto Frankie and put him through a table but Frankie moved and Flash went through the table! This didn't count as an elmination though. Later, Sparrow speared Frankie through a corner table as Flash gave a High Velocity Senton to CLM through a table for the win!

A short match that saw Carlos get little offense in. He did get a nice rolling clothesline on Weasel in the early going but Weasel came back and hit an Air Attack Ace for the win!

American Elemental came out to announce that "three way dance" means it's elimination rules! He also announces that future multi-man matches will be contested under these rules.

Miguel Rivera vs Simon Waves vs High Flyin Hawaiian

This match went quick as all three went all out. Rivera ended up catching Waves coming off the top and into his finisher, Shot in the Dark for an elimination! High Flyin Hawaiian was too popular for Rivera too handle as the crowd went along with anything Hawaiian did. After hitting Rivera with a springboard back elbow, HFH followed it up with a Pacific Crush for the final elimination!

Another short match on the card, Perez did hit an impressive springboard dropkick. Jackpot got back in it after distracting the ref and hitting a low blow followed by the Cash In for the win!

The American Cobras vs American Machine

A pretty good back and forth match that saw the CZCW crowd welcome back Insane Machine with even more pops during the contest. American Machine started out strong hitting dual dropkicks and both leaping out onto the cobras! "Holy Sh*t" chants followed. The American Cobras got back in it with some dirty tactics when Malloy eye poked Elemental and then started cutting the ring in half. The Cobras hit a double flapjack then with a double dropkick to Elemental's head! AE eventually got the hot tag after reversing a back suplex by Malloy and ducking a clothesline by Spillane. Insane Machine came in and cleaned house with clotheslines and dropkicks. He hit a shining wizard in the corner on Spillane then followed up with a 720 headscissors on Malloy which made the crowd give a standing ovation. Machine went for a brainbuster on Malloy but Spillane grabbed his feet which alloyed Malloy to fall on top for a pinfall. Luckily, Elemental broke up the pin for a near fall. The finish came when Malloy charged Elemental but he side-stepped and Malloy went crashing outside of the ring all the while Machine hit the Termination Kick on Spillane and signaled to Elemental, who went up and hit the Inferno Splash for the win!

"Hollywood" Jake Idol vs Waylon Walls

Anonther short match which saw Walls get in little offence. He gave Idol multiple clotheslines on the ropes but Idol came back with a dropkick to the knee. He worked on the knee for a little bit before hitting the Reality Check for the win!

Jackpot comes out with a couple microphones after the match...

Jackpot: We got something to say to everyone needs to such their stupid little mouths for a second!

Shoot Club vs The Cali Dragons

Great back and forth action in this match that started out strong for the Cali Dragons. Mikey and Frankie both did turnbuckle flips and followed up with double enziguri's that got a good pop. Coleman reversed a Frankie flying clothesline into an armbar that got Shoot Club back in the match. Shoot Club worked over Frankie until he got the hot tag to Mikey who cleaned house with clotheslines and dropkicks. Mikey and Frankie did a double Asai Moonsault to both men on the outside! Frankie threw Speed back in and allowed Mikey to hit a Scything Side Kick for the win!

Winners: The Cali Dragons by pinfall

The Cali Dragons are celebrating with Jonnie Perez in the parking lot. They trade hand shakes as Mikey gets in his car and drives off. Shoot Club comes out of nowhere and starts beating on the Perez brothers. Speed says "the more where that came from" as they leave both down on the floor...

Donnie tried to hit a Death on Miami Beach early on but Fox Mask got out of it. Fox hit a corkscrew plancha to Donnie J on the outside. They fought on the apron until Donnie clotheslined Fox back inside. Donnie then hit a springboard shoulder block for a nearfall. Donnie tried to hit a Death on Miami Beach again but Fox reversed and hit a Fox Flip Off DDT out of nowhere for the win!

Winners: Fox Mask by pinfall

However, I know I have the edge tonight after coming of a victory over Mikey James. I've been champion for about six months now and I'm planning on having it for a good long time.

Guru: What do you think of the new matchmaker American Elemental?

Remmy: I don't care who the matchmaker is as long as Elemental knows that the "Psyche Out" doesn't back down from any challenge!

Guru: Thank you, Remmy.

Masked Cougar vs Remmy Skye©

Great match that saw both men trade finishers at the early going for near falls. They then went outside of the ring in the Auditorium that saw Remmy jump off the balcony and onto a prone Masked Cougar! This got a "holy sh*t" chant as they fought back to the ring. The pace slowed down a little bit as Cougar worked over Skye in the ring. Hit gave Remmy a urnage then followed up with a springboard moonsault for a nearfall. Skye got back in the fight once he reversed a DDT attempt into a northern lights suplex then rolled through and followed up with a Suplex Stunner for a nearfall. They ended up trading blows at the end with the crowd chanting for Remmy. Cougar reversed a punch and attempted an I am Cougar, Hear Me Roar but Remmy reversed and nailed a Skye Diver! But Cougar kicked out! The crowd erupted chanting "This is awesome!" Remmy then tried another Skye Diver but Cougar hit an I am Cougar, Hear Me Roar... but Remmy kicked out! They both brawled again with Cougar getting the upper hand, he then bounced against the ropes to hit him with a forearm but Remmy reversed it into a roll up for the victory!

Winner and STILL Coastal Zone Champion: Remmy Skye by pinfall

Coming off a buzz-worthy Vendetta, the locker room in CZCW is tense to say the least! Matchmaker American Elemental has now posted the following card for the next show, CZCW Uprising... and the CZCW fans are in an uprising of their own!

It seems fitting that Am El put himself in a Xtreme title match against the current champion, California Love Machine. When asked for comment, CLM stated "A matchmaker putting himself in a title match? I doubt that hasn't happened before!" The writer would like to note that CLM rolled his eyes after that statement. It seems these two will clash after having words at Revolution when Am El revealed himself as the new matchmaker. Will Am El come out on top as the brand new Xtreme champ? Or will CLM keep his reign intact?

Also, he is back! Insane Machine is back in a CZCW ring after over a 2 year absence. He looks really crisp in the ring as I bet WLW has made him a more well-rounded wrestler. It's great to see him back after so long and he is going to face Remmy Skye for the Coastal Championship at Uprising. When asked for comment, Remmy Skye stated "I asked for this match. I'm a fighting champion and after defeating a former Champion in Insane Machine, I will be the best Coastal Zone Champion ever!"

Last but not least, Donnie J declared at the last show that if he lost another match, he'd quit! This shocked everyone and Am El was seen even talking Donnie down after having a fit of anger in the ring and backstage. However, there was nothing he could do to change his mind as Am El booked Donnie in a match against one half of the tag team champions, Matt Sparrow! The Bird Man was not happy at this news but it was said that Am El thought Sparrow could handle himself after being such a steady hand in CZCW for so long.

All this and more going into a solid and exciting event for CZCW Uprising!

Once in the ring, Shoot Club came back after Coleman reversed a hurricanrana by Jonnie into a turnbuckle powerbomb! Shoot Club cut the ring in half and worked over Jonnie with double team attacks. Coleman hit a knee lift and Speed followed up with a sick clothesline for a nearfall that Frankie broke up. Speed had Jonnie in an abdominable stretch which Jonnie reversed with a hip toss, Coleman came in and grabbed Jonnie's leg from making the tag. Jonnie was able to hit an enziguri then got the hot tag to Frankie! Frankie came in hot with clotheslines and dropkicks. Am El then runs the ropes but CLM walks away, not letting Am El to fly out of the ring. Once it gets back into the ring, CLM takes control with a monkey flip out of the corner followed by a springboard side kick for a nearfall. CLM stays on Am El but eventually Elemental comes back and reverses a suplex attempt and nails a dragon suplex for a nearfall. The crowd pops and starts rallying for Am El. The finish comes when Am El hits an Inferno Splash but CLM barely kicks out! Rich And Famous took control early on, even catching both Cobras on the ring apron and both bringing them in with suplexes followed up with dual leg drops. The Cobras mount a comeback later as Spillane reverses a powerbomb attempt by Idol with a facebuster and tags in Marvel who starts cleaning house! Marvel hits a running hurricanrana on both guys then follows up with a lionsault on Idol for a nearfall. The finish came when Idol reverses a finisher attempt by Marvel with a small package, the ref is busy with Jackpot as Spillane reverses the pin then tackles Jackpot to the outside! The ref counts Idol's shoulders to the mat for a Cobra victory! Donnie hesitates and instead of accepting it he locks up with Sparrow. They manuever for position while locked up which then ends up outside the ring. They brawl a little on the ouside until Donnie throws Sparrow back in the ring, he goes for a springboard dropkick which Sparrow side steps. Sparrow takes control and hits a suplex and a reverse DDT off the ropes for a nearfall. Donnie eventually comes back when Sparrow whips him into the ropes Donnie tackles him and starts punching Sparrow. This is when Britney Hollywood comes out as Donnie gets distracted which allows Sparrow to hit Donnie with a superkick for a nearfall. They end up brawling on the top rope and Sparrow hits a top rope Bird Brainbuster for a very close nearfall! The fans start chanting for Donnie. Sparrow goes for another Bird Brainbuster but Donnie reverses and nails a Death on Miami Beach for another nearfall. The crowd starts getting pumped up as Britney starts pounding the mat. They trade shots in the ring, Sparrow hits Donnie with a spinning forearm which sends Donnie into the ropes he bounces off and nails a sick clothesline. Donnie then picks Sparrow up and hits another Death of Miami Beach for the victory! A very even and close match which sees both wrestlers pull out all the stops. In the end, Mikey gets the win with a Scything Side Kick. Insane Machine takes control early on as he catches Remmy off guard with a series of kicks. Machine hits a falcon arrow and follows up with a springboard splash for a nearfall. Remmy then reverses a back suplex and dropkicks Machine in the back, Machine goes head first into the turnbuckle! Remmy nails a leg lariat and answers back with a springboard forearm for a nearfall. They end up going outside the ring where Machine nails a suplex on the floor, he goes back into the ring and goes for a dive but Remmy catches him with a kick to the head! Remmy goes back in and hits a Skye Diver for a nearfall. Remmy then tries for another Skye Diver but Machine reverses it and nails a Termination Kick but Remmy kicks out! The fans start chanting "This is awesome!" The finish then comes when Machine goes for a springboard crossbody but Remmy reverses it for the win! After the conclusion of CZCW Uprising, matchmaker American Elemental announced a big tag team main event for CZCW Spring Break Bash! It's going to be The Cali Dragons vs Zone Out!

It was also announced on the first day of April that Waylon Walls, Carlos Barrera, and Miguel Rivera were released from their contracts. American Elemental was said that "there were no creative plans for them in the future so it was best to release them from the contracts and wish them well."

There are eight big matches signed for CZCW Spring Break Bash, including the one mentioned above, and we will also get a rematch between The American Cobras and Rich And Famous! Jackpot Jordan was said to be pleased while his tag team partner, Jake Idol said "The American Pumbas will become yesterday's news as Jackpot and I will give them a Hollywood makeover they won't forget!"

Matt Sparrow wrote an interesting post on his blog, Bird Droppings, after his sensational match with Donnie J. Sparrow had said "that match is what makes CZCW one of the best promotions in the world!" although he "wished the match had been booked under much different circumstances." Sparrow had nothing but good things to say about Donnie but did not like that Britney Hollywood had come down and became a distraction. Sparrow had said "Britney had no business coming down to ringside. This isn't me being bitter about losing to Donnie J. I've never liked Britney and have always been a straight-shooter to Donnie that she is just using him to make her own career. Her name should be shortened to B-Ho!" Whether this is true, Sparrow is making some strong accusations. Nevertheless, he ended his blog post by saying he was happy to defend the tag titles with American Flash against Shoot Club at CZCW Spring Break Bash!

Speaking of Donnie J, fans are happy that he is still with the company after beating Sparrow last month and not quitting. He has a bigger challenge at Spring Break Bash as he goes one-on-one with Insane Machine! Machine, after unsuccessfully challenging Remmy Skye to the Coastal Zone Championship, said that "Donnie J is a good wrestler but not as great as me. If he faced me last month, he would've quit!" Donnie was not available for comment.

The Cali Dragons vs Zone Out will be the main event next month! Remmy Skye said of his partner, Fox Mask, that he is "grateful for Fox's help in fending off The Cali Dragons after his match last month." He then went on to say of his opponents: "Mikey and Frankie have got another thing coming if they're just going to get away with sneak attacking me like that! I get it, I'm the Coastal Zone Champion so I'm always going to have a target on me but Mikey didn't have to act like he wanted to shake my hand. Instead, Frankie had to attack me from behind and they had to be cowards about it. Fox Mask and I will give them some retribution and then some!"
