There wasn't any real anomosity that we have against Remmy or even Fox Mask. We just want the Coastal Zone title!</p><p> </p><p> Mikey: And to us, it don't matter who gets a title shot just as long as that title is around the waist of a Cali Dragon!</p><p> </p><p> Frankie: So we both thought, why not try to put ourselves at the top of the list? Why not try to go out and take what's ours? And that's also why we are out here at the start of the show.</p><p> </p><p> Mikey: American Elemental! We know you're back there, scrap the stupid tag match tonight and give us a title shot against Remmy Skye!</p><p> </p><p> Elemental's music hits and he comes out in a casual suit...</p><p> </p><p> Am El: I'll get straight to the point to the both of you: You don't demand a title shot! Sparrow went on all fours by the ropes to gve Flash a boast for a rope flip on Shoot Club to the outside! However, Flash ended up just hitting Coleman as Speed side-stepped. Speed came back in a gave Sparrow mutliple back suplexes with the last one going into an armbar!</p><p> </p><p> The Finish: They did a tower move out of the corner, Coleman was down in the ring after Speed attempted a top rope german suplex on Flash while Sparrow gave Speed a Powerbomb. However, in an insane twist Flash flipped out of the german onto his feet and Sparrow got the Powerbomb off as Speed landed directly on Coleman! Machine nails Donnie with a running shoulder tackle in the corner and slides to the apron and follows with a springboard forearm.</p><p> </p><p> Donnie is able to get back into the match reversing a running attack into a belly to belly into the corner! Mikey gets the Cali Dragons back in with a twisting side kick to Flash's skull. Cali Dragons got some good double team manuevers on Flash, even a sick looking double enziguri! Remmy came in for the hot tag and cleaned house. He nailed a superkick and followed up with a second-rope moonsault on Mikey that Frankie broke up.</p><p> </p><p> The Finish: The Cali Dragons have Remmy right where they want him as they nail him with a double brainbuster! American Elemental has announced that <strong>Jake Idol signed a written contract with CGC</strong>. Idol had this to say of his signing on the CZCW website: <em>"I'm off to bigger and better things in Canada. I only wish I could've had the choice to bring Jackpot Jordan with me. I know all you CZCW fans will miss me... I won't miss any of you!"</em></p><p> </p><p>

Am El also announced that the team of <strong>Mainstream Hernandez & Kirk Jameson have signed PPA contracts with CZCW!</strong> Their first match will be for the Coastal Zone tag team titles at Welcome To The Coastal Zone! One half of the tag team champions, The American Flash, had this to say of the newly signed opponents: <em>"It would be a lie if Matt Sparrow and I said that we're happy to put our tag titles on the line against a newly signed team. However, we're definitely happy to give them a Coastal Zone welcome fists to their faces!"</em></p><p> </p><p>

There is also another new signing made but is being kept under wraps. Am El had said that <strong>the mystery signing will face Donnie J at WTTCZ</strong> and the only hint he would give is that <em>the new signing has never wrestled in the States.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Matt Sparrow has written a new entry for his blog, <strong>Bird Droppings</strong>, concerning his earlier remarks about Britney Hollywood: <em>"As every CZCW fan saw last month, Donnie J asked me to apologize for my recent comments about his girlfriend/manager Britney Hollywood. I specifically called her "B-Ho." I have now realized this was very childish and idiotic for me to ignore his request. I do plan on giving a direct apology at Welcome to the Coastal Zone."</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Cali Dragons </strong>were not happy with the outcome of last month and have said to be "extremely unhappy" to not be in the title match for the biggest CZCW show of the year. Frankie Perez was even quoted as saying <em>"American Elemental has started to become a cancer to the Coastal Zone. And signing his tag team partner Insane Machine right off the bat?! Yeah, he's just going to put himself at the top of the mountain like Puerto Rican Power has done in FCW!"</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Marc Speed, one half of the Shoot Club,</strong> also went in depth as to why they attacked the Coastal Zone matchmaker and challenged the American Machine at WTTCZ: <em>"Al Coleman and I have been an integral part of what makes CZCW the best cult promotion today! We are three time Coastal Zone tag team champions and I have held the Xtreme title twice. What's my point? American Elemental has done nothing accept to kiss up to Cliff (Anderson) and put himself into Xtreme title matches. From the very beginning I knew Am El being here would be bad for the Coastal Zone and look where we are now. I can count on both hands how many people Am El has pissed off already. That's why Coleman and I challenged American Machine. We want to get rid of American Elemental for good and take out the washed up Insane Machine while we're at it."</em></p><p> </p><p>

Hernandez and Jameson got back in the match after Flash attempted a springboard move that Hernandez caught into a T-Bone suplex. Hernandez hit a shining wizard followed by a Jameson springboard elbow for a nearfall.</p><p> </p><p> Finish: With American Flash down after missing an Inferno Splash, Hernandez and Jameson hit double superkicks on Matt Sparrow. Now, it seems fitting for me to say "Welcome to the Coastal Zone" but I think Coleman has something better to say.</p><p> </p><p> He hands the mic to Al Coleman...</p><p> </p><p> AC: Welcome to your worst nightmare, b*tches!</p><p> </p><p> Coleman then dropped the mic and Shoot Club left the new tag team champs in the ring. Later, Fox Mask nailed a top rope hurricanrana for a nearfall. Towards the end, Fox Mask kicked out of a Scything Side Kick and Mikey got frustrated pounding the mat. Then, Remmy followed up with a springboard crossbody to the outside! When Remmy tried to bring in a ladder, Cougar did a baseball slide into the ladder. Then, while Remmy was down outside, Cougar did a springboard moonsault onto Remmy. Towards the end of the match, Remmy and Cougar fought on top of the ladder and Remmy got the advantage then hit a rolling powerbomb off the ladder which got a "Holy Sh*t!" chant.</p><p> </p><p> Finish: Cougar did a missile dropkick to the ladder while Remmy was reaching for the title. Remmy crashed hard! First, this company has always been my home and will ALWAYS be my home! After coming off a scorching hot season ending show of Welcome to the Coastal Zone, we now have a brand new Coastal Zone champion in Masked Cougar! Matchmaker American Elemental announced that his first challenger would be Fox Mask! After coming off an impressive victory over Mikey James at WTTCZ, Fox Mask briefly stated on twitter: "Now that congratulations are out of the way it's time to face a former six time champion, Cougar! #thehuntison"

 

Speaking of Mikey James, after interrupting Donnie J and Britney Hollywood at WTTCZ, it was reported that Donnie J asked for a match against "The Dragon" but matchmaker American Elemental refused by stating that "The Cali Dragons were already signed to face The American Cobras at Surf Slam" Donnie was said to be furious, wanting retribution for Mikey's insults to his girlfriend, Britney Hollywood. Donnie is slated to face former Coastal Zone champion, Remmy Skye. The Psyche Out had this to say of his match: "I feel bad for Donnie and Britney but that doesn't mean I'm going to go soft on him in our match at Surf Slam. I lost the title last month so it's time to dust off the loss and come back out to show that I'm still the main event player that I am!"

 

New tag team champions Hernandez & Jameson's win over Flash Sparrow came to a screeching halt as their next challengers, Shoot Club, came out and attacked them to send the new champs a message they wouldn't forget. Hernandez & Jameson had this to say about their upcoming tag team title match: "Hernandez: Shoot Club think that they're the hottest tag team in CZCW just because they've been a mainstay for so long. Well, it's about time Jameson and I show them that we're not a flash in the pan.

Jameson: That's right! Hernandez and I like to keep it cool and work on our tans on our off time but when we step foot in that ring, it's all business! American Elemental hired us because he knew we could bring more excitement to the tag division in CZCW and we've done that and then some! Now it's time we put an end to Shoot Club."

OOC: Totally random anecdotes I have about my vacation to San Diego last week-

1) The trip to LA was horrible. Six lanes is not enough for the road rage that transpires even though it's slightly amusing. My niece was flipped off a couple times and screamed at too.

 

2) Warner Bros. Studios is f*cking awesome! I recommend seeing the 75th anniversary of Batman exhibit to anyone heading out there anytime soon. It comes with the price of admission too, I believe.

 

3) Paddle boarding is harder than it looks. In case you don't know what that is, it's standing on a surfboard with a long paddle. My balance sucks! lol

 

4) The San Diego Safari Zoo is really cool. There's two different zoos, the regular San Diego Zoo and the Safari Zoo. I highly recommend the Safari one and to see the Cheetah run. Yes, you get to watch how fast a Cheetah can run and it's awesome!

 

5) I'm not a huge Sushi person but it was phenomenal there especially the Flaming Lip at the sushi place I went to and, of course, any kind of wine tasting is a plus. California is wine country so that's a must.

 

This is for anyone who cares to know my thoughts about California and I figure why not add my thoughts to my CZCW dynasty. I would not live in California but it was nice to visit and have some time away from normal life. However, it's great to be back and to now plug away at this dynasty again. Cheers!

As someone who lived in San Diego for 6 years and just moved to L.A. a few weeks ago, my thoughts:

 

1. Shocked about the road rage. While the traffic here in L.A. can be a nightmare, I've never thought people were pissed. More like lackadaisical about driving. It makes me mad, but outside of one or two times, I feel like it's rare to feel somebody else's rage.

 

3. Most people have no problem paddle boarding. I, however, have a permanent scar from my one attempt. Balance is a problem. Did you try to do it in the ocean or on the bay?

 

4. The Zoo and the Safari Park are really cool. Unfortunately, outside of those two things and SeaWorld, there isn't a ton else to do in San Diego.

 

5. Sushi is good here, but please tell me you had fish tacos or ceviche or Mexican food from a taco shop. Those are the must haves in SoCal.

 

Glad you enjoyed your trip. I moved out here 6 years ago from the East Coast and have no desire to leave.

With the past relationship between CZCW and MPWF (at least in 2010) I always thought CZCW was in San Diego and MPWF was in Tijuana (given the proximity/pop size of the two cities).

3. Yeah, I went to a bay but there were a lot of people there. The Jet Ski's waves also helped in me losing balance many times.

 

5. Yes! I had fish tacos and some great Mexican food. Unfortunately, I don't remember the restaurants I went to for the food.

 

I'm never moving out of Minnesota. I actually like having seasons. The fall is the best time.

Guru: Cliff, I think Masked Cougar is going to have the shortest reign as Coastal Zone Champ! Fox Mask is going to take it from him!

 

Cliff: Well, Guru, you might be right since Fox Mask is a six time champion. We also have the tag team titles on the line as the newly crowned champs, Hernandez & Jameson face off against Shoot Club!

 

Guru: Oh yeah, there's another reign that will end too!

 

Cliff: *pauses* Will you stop?!

Highlights: Things were a little tense between Jackpot & CLM since they just faced each other for CLM's Xtreme title last month. Nevertheless, they worked as a team even cutting the ring in half by working over Flash. When Flash got the hot tag, Sparrow came in hit a series of clotheslines and dropkicks. Sparrow nailed a springboard DDT on Jackpot. CLM slammed Sparrow down and attempted a LAX Departure but American Flash cut him off, jumping off of Sparrow's back and hitting a perfect frankensteiner that popped the crowd.

 

Finish: CLM accidentally superkicks Jackpot and then gets tackled out of the ring by Sparrow. Flash follows up and hits his High Velocity Senton on Jackpot Jordan for the victory.

CLM: Elemental, we're not finished! And it's laughable now that High Flyin Hermaphrodite just got a victory on you.

 

Elemental screams at him but can't make it out without a mic...

 

CLM: Oh, you say because of me but I figure it's the other way around. Because of you: Coastal Zone wrestling is in utter turmoil. Because of you: We now have a guy that thinks he's a Cougar as the Coastal Zone champion. Because of you: we even have a guy who think's he's an ant! Or how about you hiring your longtime tag team partner, Insane Machine? No, you don't get off the hook with me that easily Elemental. You don't know it yet but I'm going to be the one to take you out of the Coastal Zone for good!

 

Love Machine then drops the mic and attempts to attack Elemental but Am El gets the upperhand and lands a crisp hurricanrana that sends CLM to the outside. CLM gets up holding the back of his head and exclaims, "This isn't over!"

 

Cliff: Wow, that escalated quickly.

 

Guru: Yep, CLM hates Am El. I kind of agree on the hiring of Ant-Man though. How does he even fit here?

 

Cliff: Ant-Man is a small guy. He fits here because of that. He's a tough competitor too and freakishly strong, just you watch!

 

Guru: Yeah, whatever...

Highlights: Ant-Man muscles Machine around at the beginning of the match even giving Machine a Military Press Spinebuster. Machine is able to use his experience to best him though and gets the upperhand with a leaping tornado DDT out of the corner.

 

Finish: Ant-Man goes for the Antapult but Machine reverses out and hits a Termination Kick for the victory!

 

Winner: Insane Machine by pinfall

 

Donnie J and Britney Hollywood are talking to each other backstage...

 

Donnie: You know, The Cali Dragons are up next. We should go out there and make sure they don't bother us again!

 

Britney: No, Donnie. You need to focus on your match tonight with Remmy.

 

Donnie: (pauses) Ok, Bree. I'll listen to you this time but if they interrupt me again I'm going to make sure Elemental has no choice but to give me a match against Mikey James. Then, I'll make sure to cut off The Dragon's head and spit down his throat!

 

With that, Donnie walks off as Britney gives a look of concern...

The American Cobras vs The Cali Dragons

 

Highlights: A Coastal Zone staple was a big thing for this match: a huge tower spot that saw The Cali Dragons double superplex Spillane while Malloy double powerbombed The Cali Dragons! The Cobras both attempted a doublde springboard crossbody sandwich on Mikey but The Dragon ducked out of the way and the Cobras crashed into each other. Mikey did a reverse hurricanrana on Spillane and Frankie followed up with a springboard splash for a two count, Malloy saved his partner at the last second.

 

Finish: Mikey James reversed a top rope frankensteiner by Malloy into a powerbomb AND right onto a prone Spillane! Frankie then put the nail in the coffin with a double rotation moonsault onto Spillane for the win. (And a huge pop from the crowd)

Highlights: Speed and Coleman hit a double gutwrench into a double armbar onto Hernandez for a cool spot that the fans clapped for. Jameson reversed a russian legsweep by Coleman and rolled him into a leglock. From there, he was able to tag Hernandez in the corner who did a tope con hilo onto Coleman for a two count. Anarchy finally ensued as Jameson suplexed Speed to the outside and Hernandez hit a missile dropkick on Coleman.

 

Finish: With Speed down on the outside, Hernandez hits Pontiac to Home on Coleman then Jameson locks in the Kirk-Hold. Coleman has no choice but to tap out!

 

Winners and STILL Coastal Zone tag team champions: Hernandez & Jameson by submission

 

Hernandez & Jameson are holding their titles up high as the crowd cheers. However, it's cut short as Speed knocks Jameson into Hernandez and it sends Hernandez outside of the ring. Speed locks Jameson in his deadly cross armbreaker. Jameson eventually taps even though the match is over.

 

Coleman takes the hint and goes after Hernandez on the outside. Coleman locks Hernandez' arm between the bars on the railings. Hernandez screams in pain!

 

After a couple minutes they're done torturing the tag team champs and head to the back with smug looks on their faces as backstage workers check on the champs and help them to the back...

Donnie J vs Remmy Skye

 

Highlights: The opening went fast as both wrestlers exchanged holds which escalated into some high flying reversals, Skye won the opening fight with a twisting body press out of the corner. Donnie eventually got back in the fight and hit an apron-hung DDT on the outside! Later, Remmy hit a flying headscissors that sent Donnie into the corner head first into the second turnbuckle.

 

Finish: After attempting Death on Miami Beach a couple of times, Donnie got frustrated and went up top. However, Donnie jumped off and right into a Sky Diver! Remmy was still out of it but was able to drape an arm over Donnie for the win.

 

Winner: Remmy Skye via pinfall

 

Skye is selling the beating he took from Donnie after the match and gets his hand raised by Ref Germaine. Britney Hollywood comes in the ring to help Donnie up after the match. Remmy goes face to face with Donnie then extends his hand. Donnie looks at Britney, she shrugs her shoulders, and then looks at the fans. They cheer for them to shake and Donnie accepts the handshake. Remmy then exits to the back as Donnie gets a standing ovation... but then The Cali Dragons' music hits and out they come. They get in the ring as Mikey grabs a mic...

 

MJ: Britney Hollywood and Donnie J... who would've thought these two would be THE couple of Coastal Zone wrestling. You know, Donnie, I really enjoyed our little scuffle last month. I mean, we didn't really finish that fight and I figure I'd give you what you want so I spoke to Elemental earlier tonight for a match against you and he told me that we can't face until September at Reach For the Sky. But believe me, Donnie, you better watch your back. You see, me and Frankie have been the glue that has kept this company together and we're not going to let you and some washed up BSC reject screw it all up!

 

With that, Mikey looks at Britney. She yells some obscenities at him...

 

MJ: Whoa, such a dirty mouth there little Bree. Frankie, I wonder if you have anything to make sure she shuts up for good?

 

Frankie then pulls out a bar of soap...

 

Cliff: Oh, come on!

 

Guru: Ha ha, they're gonna clean out her dirty mouth!

 

Donnie immediately tries to stop the both of them but Mikey's quick reflexes gets the better of him and Donnie gets hit with a superkick! Frankie then goes after Britney, she tries to leave the ring but Frankie stops her and The Cali Dragons proceed to corner her and put the bar of soap in her mouth! Mikey exclaims, "See what you get for opening your stupid whorish mouth?!" Donnie comes to and goes after both of them. Mikey gets away but Frankie gets taken down. Donnie then gives a death stare at Mikey and proceeds to give a prone Frankie the Death on Miami Beach to a huge pop from the crowd! Mikey backs away yelling at them both then cowers to the back...

Fox Mask vs Masked Cougar©

 

Highlights: Cougar hit a corkscrew body press to the outside early on. Fox Mask came back and nailed an Atlantida Counter Tornado DDT for a nearfall. He then hit a running bulldog into the bottom turnbuckle on Cougar for another nearfall. Cougar came back back-flipping out of the corner and hitting a leaping leg lariat.

 

Finish: Both men have kicked out of each other's finishers as Fox Mask has the upper hand. He attempts a running lariat, however, Cougar sees it coming and reverses it into a school boy for the flash pinfall!

 

Winner: Masked Cougar by pinfall

 

Cougar grabs a mic after the match and motions for Fox Mask to come back in the ring...

 

Cougar: (out of breath) Fox Mask, come back in here. I want to give you a handshake.

 

Fox Mask comes back in and he accepts the handshake and also gives him a hug...

 

Cougar: Ladies and gentlemen, let's not deny how great of a competitor this man is in the Coastal Zone ring! He's been such a staple to this company that I think some of you fans take him for granted. Let this man know how much you appreciate him.

 

The fans take the blatant hint and start chanting "Thank you, Fox Mask"

 

Cougar: That's right. I may have the Coastal Zone title but you deserve your own title.

 

With that Cougar raises Fox Mask's hand and then Fox Mask raises Cougar's hand. They trade it back and forth a couple of times.

 

Guru: What kind of a champion is that?!

 

Cliff: I'd say a damn good champion. That's called appreciation, Guru. Look it up in the dictionary.

 

Guru: Oh, please!

Hello to all our Coastal Zone fans! We are coming off a sizzling Surf Slam card and it's about to get even better!

 

CZCW matchmaker American Elemental is furious with California Love Machine. Word behind the scenes is that he tried to have a private chat with the Xtreme Champion but CLM was not backstage after he interupted Am El's match with High Flyin Hawaiian. CLM is on a quest to put Am El out of Coastal Zone and to bring his own brand of justice against the "dictatorial matchmaker" he claims Am El has been since taking over the job. Nevertheless, Am El has still been keen on putting together some key matches for our next edition of Battle On The Beach.

 

A huge main event has been made as matchmaker Am El announced that Donnie J and Masked Cougar will face the team of Zone Out! This came about after CZCW fans praised all four men for their respective matches against each other last month (Remmy Skye beating Donnie J and Cougar successfully defending the Coastal Zone title against Fox Mask). It was also said that Am El has an eye on the outcome of this match to determine who Masked Cougar will face at the following August event, Wave of Fury, for the title. Remmy was said to be deserving of a rematch but it quickly went to the wayside when the CZCW faithful were quick to want to see this match take place!

 

Am El also announced that the reigning Xtreme Champion, California Love Machine, will defend the title against The American Flash. Fans were in belief that Am El would want to face him right away and even asked him on social media why he just make a match official against his aggressor but the matchmaker replied that "CLM wants me to make a match between us. He has some sort of vendetta against me and the only answer I have is to make him defend his title every chance I can... oh, and from now on he defends his title in no DQ matches!"

 

Another match made official is the deadly Marc Speed versus The Dragon Mikey James. Both of these wrestlers have faced in tag action but now this singles match is set to take place as the co-main event of the night. The Dragon has said that he "will not stop until Donnie J and Britney Hollywood realize that The Cali Dragons are more superior to them then they will ever be!" Donnie replied to this statement by saying out to the Coastal Zone masses that "Mikey James has hell to pay!"
