Comments: I know it's Orton's "thing" to beat legends, but this is STING. And yes, the voice in my mind just read "this is STING" as Gary Michael Cappetta.

Comments: If Sting is facing Taker at Mania, then he should get a nice win right here over Orts.

 

Randy Orton versus Sting is definitely one of the biggest matches I could have booked, in my opinion. As Beejus says, it is truly the legend killer versus the legend in his first ever WWE match. GMC did do the best Sting introductions of all-time. And, Smasher, the question is, will Sting be facing Taker at Mania?

I am glad that the Triple H/Roman Reigns match has everyone guessing. There are several stories to tell either way during this contest. Who will win is anyone's guess. But thank you for the comments! Comments: They have impressed me since Battleground, so I say keep the straps on them for a bit more.

 

I am glad to get this positive reaction about the Steiner Brothers. They are my favorite tag team of all time. That is probably why they were brought here in 2014. I am just glad that I have been able to get them over.

Comments: The lunatic with a briefcase AND the Beast with the title? I like this story.

 

Comments On Previous Show: Perfectly acceptable go-home Smackdown.

 

The Lunatic With A Briefcase and The Beast With A Title is a definite way that I can go depending on who I have win those two matches. Either way, there are definite storylines moving forward. Glad you enjoyed the go-home Smackdown. Nothing too major there except for Sheamus joining The Authority. And I am glad that this twist has gotten positive reviews as well.

WWE Cruiserweight Title Match

Tournament Finals

Christopher Daniels vs. Kofi Kingston

Comments: This here is pretty hard to predict, it can go either way, but you can always give The Fallen Angel the gold later. You're keen on pushing Kofi, and he might start this new lineage in a nice way against the massive population of cruiserweight heels.

 

Before the tournament, I didn't even realize that Kofi was small enough to be part of the Cruiserweight tournament. But with either man winning, it will be a great Cruiserweight champion, I think.

 

Handicap Match

The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Braun Stowman, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper) vs. The Rock, Goldust and Stardust

Comments: What a blessing in disguise your idea was for Stowman. This should get each Wyatt Family member over huge.

 

I am glad that the Stowman turn was well-received. A win for the Wyatt Family would definitely raise their stock in the WWE. The question is, will Stowman and The Rock come face-to-face?

 

Comments On Previous Show: A good go-home SmackDown, if you ask me. Sheamus' heel turn was well done.

 

I am glad you enjoyed the go-home Smackdown, Smasher. I am especially glad that the Sheamus heel-turn went over very well. I didn't have anything in particular for him at the moment but he definitely fit in with The Authority angle. It is a high-profile angle for someone who can still do really well here in the WWE.

[Michael Cole, John Layfield and Jerry Lawler welcome everyone to the biggest party of the summer! This is SummerSlam! We are here in the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. What a show we have for you tonight, including our main event where John Cena defends the WWE World Heavyweight title against Brock Lesnar. Layfield says that he's looking forward to that and looking forward to The Beast Incarnate becoming the WWE World Heavyweight champion! That remains to be seen, says Michael Cole. A sign goes up behind the announcers reading: 'Stie-stie, GO BYE BYE!' But we have some other amazing matches, including a match for the Money In The Bank briefcase where Seth Rollins defends the briefcase against Dean Ambrose in a ladder match! Could the Lunatic Fringe walk away with the briefcase? Jerry Lawler says that it's a possibility. He says they haven't seen someone so insane since Mick Foley! John Layfield says the match he is looking forward to is the Legend Killer Versus The Legend. Randy Orton takes on Sting! He says he cannot wait for the Legend Killer to put Sting in his place! But we will be beginning the show with the Money In The Bank briefcase match! Here we go!]

Money In The Bank Ladder Match

Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose

 

[seth Rollins is accompanied to the ring by the Devil's Favorite Demon Kane, who stands at ringside as Dean Ambrose charges toward the ring. A sign is shown in the background as Ambrose charges the ring: 'I'm here for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match!' Ambrose slides into the ring and takes down Rollins with a Lou Thesz Press, mounting and punching his former Shield brother! Rollins fires punches back, though it's more difficult to do from the bottom. Rollins and Ambrose roll around the ring before they spill outside the ring. Rollins gets up first and runs from Ambrose with Ambrose giving chase. Rollins leaps underneath Kane and Kane brings Ambrose down with a big boot, drawing boos from the crowd. Rollins smiles as he stands up and looks down at Ambrose. He motions to Kane to keep on Ambrose as Rollins goes over and grabs a ladder. He folds it up and slides it into the ring. He also slides into the ring as Kane puts the boots to Dean Ambrose. Seth Rollins unfolds the ladder and sets it up. Kane lifts Ambrose and Ambrose catches Kane with a low blow! Ambrose slides into the ring and moves in behind Rollins as Rollins is climbing the ladder! Ambrose lifts Rollins in an electric chair position, dropping him backward off the ladder. The crowd cheers as both men are laid out on the mat for the moment.]

 

[The match continues, going pretty open between the two wrestlers. Each of them have their moments where it looks like they might climb the ladder, only to be stopped by the other person. This includes a moment where Ambrose takes down Rollins with a Double Arm DDT and then hits Kane with a suicide dive outside the ring. Ambrose almost makes it to the top of the ladder but Rollins manages to get there and he hits Ambrose with an enzuigiri on the top of the ladder, bringing both of them down to the mat. The crowd was definitely shocked with that move. Both of them are slow to get to their feet. Rollins grabs Ambrose and tosses him out of the ring and then heads to the top turnbuckle. Rollins perches as Ambrose pulls himself to his feet -- Rollins leaps and Ambrose steps to the side, pushing Rollins right down onto the announce table! Ambrose rolls Rollins into the ring and joins him inside. He folds up the ladder and sets it up in between the turnbuckle pads. He goes back to Rollins and whips him into the ladder! Rollins cries out in pain as he staggers forward. Ambrose moves in -- Dirty Deeds! Kane enters the ring and Ambrose goes right after him! Ambrose catches Kane with punches and then a tornado DDT using the ladder! Ambrose grabs the ladder and sets it up, beginning to ascend the ladder as the crowd waits in anticipation. Ambrose is at the top and grabbing for the briefcase as Rollins is trying to pull himself up the ladder! Ambrose meets Rollins in the eyes and yanks down the briefcase! We have a brand new Money In The Bank briefcase holder!]

Randy Orton vs. Sting

 

['Voices' by Rev Theory brings out the Legend Killer Randy Orton to the ring. Orton steps inside and poses, drawing boos from the crowd as he moves to his corner and begins stretching. The sound of violins begins playing and the crowd looks around as a spotlight shines on Sting standing in the rafters. He begins his descent down toward the ring, looking toward Randy Orton and the ring the entire time. He leaps the barricade and then steps inside the ring, walking toward Orton. He raises the baseball bat and places it underneath Orton's chin. He lifts Orton's chin slightly and then draws it back before backing Orton off with the bat. He moves back into his own corner, dropping the bat in the corner and the bell sounds as the two men begin circling one another. Sting's very first match here in the WWE is underway! The first few minutes of the bout constitute a feeling-out period between the two veteran wrestlers. A few arm drags and armbars and even a dropkick from Sting begin the match with Orton sliding out of the ring to catch a break. The Apex Predator re-enters the ring and goes right after Sting, catching the face-painted wrestler with a knee to the gut and then takes control of the match. Orton begins wearing down the Icon, including going for and landing a Superplex on Sting! Orton makes the cover but only gets a two count. Orton starts getting frustrated and he grabs Sting, swinging him around and placing his feet on the ropes. He gets Sting set for a DDT but Sting blocks the DDT, sliding his feet free from the ropes and bringing Orton over with a Northern Lights Suplex but no bridge as both men are down on the mat.]

 

[The referee begins a ten count but both men are able to get to their feet. Both men are wobbly and worn down as they are staggered on their feet. Orton throws a punch and then ducks a Sting punch! A punch and a duck for Orton! A punch and a duck for Orton! A punch and Orton ducks but Sting stops short! Orton looks back up and Sting begins throwing punches! The crowd goes wild as Sting backs Orton into a corner and then climbs up, raining punches down on Randy Orton! The crowd counts along with the punches, reaching ten before Sting drops down and brings down Orton with a one-handed bulldog! Sting makes a cover but only gets a two count! The crowd is shocked that Orton kicked out. Sting gets to his feet and watches as Orton pulls himself up in a corner. Sting backs into the opposite corner and then charges -- Stinger Splash! Orton looks like he's almost out on his feet, leaning back in the corner. Sting backs up in the corner and then charges again -- Stinger Splash! Orton falls to the mat and Sting looks down at the legs. He shakes his head and pulls Orton up -- Scorpion Death Drop! Sting makes the cover: One, Two, Three! The Legend defeats The Legend Killer!]

[From the ring, we head to the backstage area where Stephanie McMahon is seen with Kurt Angle. McMahon has a puzzled look on her face as she asks Kurt why he's here tonight. She says he doesn't have anything planned here for the show. Angle says that he's here tonight to challenge Rusev for the United States title. McMahon says that she thought she made herself clear last Monday night when she said that that match would never take place. As a matter of fact, she has made a deal with both Mick Foley and her father that Smackdown will get The Rock and that Monday Night Raw will get Kurt Angle. So, she tells him, that he needs to leave the building and tune in to the show on the WWE Network for only $9.99. Angle says that he and Steph have a long history. He tells her not to get in his way. Stephanie says that he needs to learn to listen to Authority. Security steps in and take Kurt Angle by the arms. Angle says that he doesn't know why The Authority is protecting Rusev but he's going to find out. He is escorted away by security as Stephanie watches on.]

[We are taken to another area backstage where Brie Bella can be seen stretching alongside her husband Daniel Bryan. Bryan has a bandage on his forehead from where he was hit by that electric equipment last week. He says that tonight is not about him. Tonight is about his wife becoming the new WWE Diva's Champion. He says that he could never be prouder of her for securing this match tonight. He tells her that like he's going to win back his WWE World Heavyweight title, she is going to become the brand new Diva's champion tonight. She thanks her husband and says she's at least going to do her best to make sure that Victoria doesn't win tonight. She says that she is going to make him proud. They share a kiss and Brie looks ready as her match is next!]

Paige defends vs. Victoria vs. Brie Bella

 

[The match begins with the WWE Diva's Champion not even in the ring. As soon as Victoria comes out, she is assaulted by Brie Bella! It's a strong fight between the two both inside the ring and outside the ring. Bella runs Victoria into the barricade outside the ring and then tosses her back inside the ring. She goes for a cover but only gets a one count before Victoria kicks out easily. Once the two Diva's get to their feet, Bella grabs Victoria by the hair and slams her down on the mat. Bella bounces off the ropes -- big splash! Bella makes a cover: One, Two, Interrupted by Paige! Paige came running in from the back and made the save for her WWE Diva's title. Paige catches Brie Bella with a Fisherman's Suplex and scores a two count before she tosses Brie out of the ring. In the ring, Paige catches Victoria with a headscissors takedown and makes a cover: One, Two, Kickout! The match continues with all three women taking control at some point. The three Diva's begin wearing each other down in the ring and outside the ring. Victoria catches Brie Bella with a Widow's Peak! She looks like she might pick up the victory tonight but Paige comes in and rolls up Victoria: One, Two, Kickout! The referee is with Paige and Victoria as Brie gets rolled out of the ring...by her sister!]

[Nikki Bella rolls into the ring, utilizing a little bit of twin magic. At this same time, AJ Lee begins skipping her way down to the ring. She grabs Brie Bella, who was down at ringside and swings her around, slamming her back-first into the barricade. Paige sends Victoria outside the ring and walks over to Nikki Bella. She begins pulling Nikki up and gets rolled into a small package: One, Two, Kickout! Nikki almost picked up the title for her sister! AJ Lee begins skipping all around the ring, getting the attention of Victoria. They begin arguing outside the ring. Inside the ring, Paige is getting the better of Nikki Bella. Paige catches Nikki with multiple short-arm clotheslines! Paige plays to the crowd where a sign is up saying: 'Paige makes me want to submit!' Paige picks up Nikki -- RamPaige! Paige makes the cover as AJ keeps Victoria from sliding into the ring: One, Two, Three! Paige successfully defends her Diva's title as twin magic definitely backfired on the Bella Twins!]

[up next is the tournament finals for the WWE Cruiserweight title. At the beginning of the match, Christopher Daniels does his ceremony and points to the left leg of Kofi Kingston. Kingston just shakes his head, saying he's not afraid of the 'curse.' But he does start to rub his left knee absentmindedly. This match is definitely filled with psychology as the two wrestlers go back and forth with Daniels focusing on the left leg of Kingston. Daniels catches Kingston with a spin-out powerbomb, drawing a two count. The Fallen Angel looks around, drawing boos from one segment of the crowd. A sign raises up in the crowd, saying: 'The Fallen Angel finally reclaims his throne in the heavens!' Daniels places Kingston over by the corner and sets up for the Best Moonsault Ever but Kingston rolls out of the way and Daniels lands on his feet. Kingston sweeps the leg of Daniels, bringing him down to the mat. He stands over Daniels and sets up for and lands the Boom Drop! Kingston moves over to a corner and waits for Daniels to get to his feet. He moves in as Daniels rises up -- S.O.S.! The referee drops down to make the count: One, Two, Three! Kofi Kingston wins the Cruiserweight title!]

[As the crowd celebrates the victory by Kofi Kingston, we move backstage where The Rock is psyching up Stardust and Goldust! The Rock says that tonight The Rock teams up with two freaks but it doesn't matter who is in The Rock's corner. It could be those two twins from the Shining. It could be Huey and Louie. It could be Tom and Jerry for all The Rock cares. Tonight, The Rock says, is the night that The Wyatt Family learns that they don't mess with The Rock. Goldust smiles, still holding the elbow pad that belongs to The Rock. Goldust says that they will never forget the name of....Stardust jumps in with 'Stardust' at the end of that. Goldust gives a fake bite toward Stardust and Stardust whimpers before blowing the star dust forward. The Rock looks at them and shrugs and says if you smell what The Rock is cooking!]

[back at the top of the ramp, a band begins to play the music for The Wyatt Family. They are shown on the Titantron, being lit by lamp light. 'We're here.' Bray blows out the lantern and the lights dim out as cell phones are shown throughout the crowd. Michael Cole reminds everyone that Bray Wyatt calls these people his fireflies. The entire Wyatt Family walk out to the ring to the live music. They surround the ring and then climb inside. Wyatt smiles as he goes over to a corner and bends backward, crab-walking along the mat. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan stand in the corner along with The Rock's former friend Braun Stowman.]

[This is a seven man tag team match that showcases all seven men and their strengths. Stardust gets locked into the corner of the Wyatt Family and they all four begin working him over. They use moves both inside the ring and outside the ring as Stardust is sent into the ring post and then the barricade outside the ring. Braun Stowman lifts Stardust and body slams him on the mats outside the ring. Stowman roars as he picks up Stardust and throws him in the ring, showcasing his strength. He tags in Bray Wyatt and Wyatt laughs, grabbing the hand of Stardust and waving it toward his corner. Wyatt catches Stardust with a running senton for a two count. Somehow, Stardust kicks out! As Wyatt catches Stardust with a short-arm clothesline, a sign raises up in the crowd saying: 'I tried to follow the buzzards, but I took a wrong turn!' Wyatt whips Stardust into a corner and follows him in but Stardust moves and Wyatt connects with the turnbuckle chest-first! Stardust drops down to all fours and Wyatt trips over him as Stardust looks to make a tag. Stardust crawls to his corner and makes the tag to The Rock! The roof explodes off the Staples Center as The Rock comes in with punches for everyone in the opposite corner except for Stowman. He catches Wyatt with punches and then a spit punch that brings Wyatt to the mat. All eight men enter the ring and it's an insane brawl! The Rock picks up Bray Wyatt -- Rock Bottom! He moves around and is set up for the People's Elbow as fighting goes on all around him! He bounces off one side and then the other side but Braun Stowman stands in his way! The two men come eye-to-eye with The Rock telling Stowman to move. This distraction allows Wyatt to move around behind The Rock and strike him with a low blow! The crowd boos as Wyatt gets to his feet and catches The Rock -- Sister Abigail! Bray Wyatt smiles and makes the cover, telling Stowman to get the referee over there. [From a stunned crowd tonight we move backstage to where Renee Young is set to interview Chris Jericho. Young asks Jericho about his match with Dolph Ziggler tonight and Jericho says that we just saw the shock of SummerSlam as The Rock was pinned. But remember when he pinned both The Rock and Steve Austin in the same night? Jericho says that is exactly what tonight is going to be like. He says that tonight he is going to use the Codebreaker or maybe the Walls of Jericho to get a victory against Dolph Ziggler and become the new WWE Intercontinental champion yet again for the tenth time. Jericho says that tonight the crowd here in Los Angeles will remember that Jericho is excellence. Jericho says that Dolph Ziggler is going to leave Los Angeles tonight and head to Anaheim and Disney Land and he's going to get himself a t-shirt that reads: 'I went to Los Angeles and all I got was a lousy t-shirt and a Y2J beating that I will never EEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEERRRRR forget...again!']

Dolph Ziggler defends vs. Chris Jericho

 

[The WWE Intercontinental title is on the line in this Finisher's Only match as Dolph Ziggler defends against Chris Jericho. As one might expect, this match is one of the better matches of the night here at SummerSlam. The matchup is back and forth in the early goings until Ziggler seems to settle in with control. Ziggler brings Jericho to the mat with a dropkick and then performs a surfboard on Jericho. It doesn't matter if Jericho taps out, though, because this is a Finisher's Only match. Ziggler holds Jericho down on the mat and gives him several elbow drops and then one large jumping elbow drop, making the cover but the referee doesn't count because that's not one of Ziggler's finishers. The two men get to their feet and Ziggler catches Jericho with a step-up Enzuigiri! Ziggler plays to the crowd and they pop huge for him. He goes for the Zig Zag several times but Jericho manages to push him off. Jericho catches Ziggler with a Codebreaker out of nowhere! Ziggler lands on the mat and Jericho bounces off the middle rope -- Lionsault! Jericho hooks the leg: One, Two, Kickout! Somehow, Dolph Ziggler kicked out! Jericho begins looking upset and the match continues. Around the ten minute mark, Jericho locks Ziggler in the Walls of Jericho! The referee asks for a submission but Ziggler refuses! He raises a hand up in the air. Is he going to tap out? He drops the hand down and pulls himself toward the ropes. He gets closer and closer to the ropes, reaching his hand out. He reaches and his fingers grip the bottom rope! Jericho is forced to release and begins arguing with the referee. Then he turns back to Ziggler and lifts Ziggler. He goes for the Codebreaker again but Ziggler blocks it! Ziggler slides in behind Jericho -- Zig Zag! He hits the Zig Zag! Ziggler makes the cover: One, Two, Three! Sting asks Reigns if he is ready for this match and Reigns says that he is. Sting asks him again, getting more and more loud until Reigns screams that he is ready. Sting says that tonight Roman Reigns steps into the ring for the WWE Universe and for all the Stingers out there. Sting tells Reigns that tonight he better be ready to give everything he has inside this ring. He says that tonight, the Roman Empire begins or crumbles. Sting says that this is Roman's choice. Tonight he must be the better man. Reigns stands up and takes the black baseball bat offered by Sting. He says that tonight he will be the better man. You can believe that.]

[From Roman Reigns' locker room, we go to a locker room where Triple H is stretching and getting ready for his match tonight. Hunter looks up and into the camera, asking if they want a few words before his match with Roman Reigns tonight? He says that he can be a man of few words because he is a man whose actions in the ring tell a story. He talks about driving a sledgehammer down on Roman Reigns. He says that Reigns should have walked away when he had the chance. But tonight there will be no walking away. There will be nothing left for Roman Reigns but his own destruction at the hands of the Cerebral Assassin. He says not to blame him because Roman Reigns asked for this, asked for his destruction. Tonight, he's going to get it.]

Triple H vs. Roman Reigns

 

[Dave Bautista comes out first to a good cheer from the crowd. He looks a little worse for wear after what happened at Smackdown but he is still out here and awaiting the entrances of Roman Reigns and Triple H. Both men make their way down to the ring without incident. Kane stands in the corner of Triple H, giving evil looks toward Dave Bautista. Inside the ring, Triple H and Roman Reigns go face-to-face as the bell sounds. What a contest this should truly be. Triple H smiles and shoves Roman Reigns back a step. Reigns laughs and shoves Triple H backward and Triple H stumbles back into a corner. Reigns smiles to Hunter and Hunter comes in but Reigns blocks a punch and begins punching Hunter backward. Reigns clotheslines Hunter over the top rope to the floor and plays to a cheering crowd as Triple H gets up on the mat and begins talking with Kane. After the brief talk, Hunter re-enters the ring and locks up with Roman Reigns. He backs Reigns into a corner, breaking before the five count. He throws a few punches and rakes the eyes of Reigns! Reigns staggers out of the corner and Triple H catches him with a high knee, sending Reigns through the ropes to the outside. Kane moves around to where Reigns landed as Triple H distracts referee Scott Armstrong. But just as Kane moves around, so does Dave Bautista. Bautista comes running and takes out Kane with a spear! But the spear also hurt Bautista and he is laying out on top of Kane. Triple H motions to the back and here comes another member of The Authority.]

[sheamus comes down to the ringside area, drawing boos from the crowd. Reigns rolls inside the ring and Triple H goes right on the attack. The next few minutes are spent with Hunter in control. With Reigns down, he steps on the side of his head, using the ropes for leverage. The referee makes him break and Hunter motions outside the ring, having some EMTs come out to take Dave Bautista and Kane to the back. This distracts the referee and Sheamus uses this time to beat on Roman Reigns out of the ring. Sheamus whips Reigns into the barricade and follows him in with a clothesline. Sheamus rolls Reigns back into the ring and Triple H catches him with a facebreaker knee smash. Hunter moves in to the fallen Reigns and catches him with an Indian Deathlock! The crowd is shocked at this old move in Triple H's arsenal! Hunter stretches on Reigns but Reigns refuses to give in! Would either man ever tap out in a match of this importance? But this move is definitely meant to wear down the larger Roman Reigns. After Reigns finally reaches the ropes to break the hold, Triple H points to a sign in the crowd: 'The Roman Empire CRUMBLES!' He gives a thumbs down and then picks up Reigns - Pedigree! Hunter slowly rolls Reigns over and makes the cover:]

[Michael Cole goes crazy! How in the world did Roman Reigns kick out of the Pedigree?!?! Triple H is UPSET! He yells at the referee! He yells at the announcers! He yells at Sheamus! He turns back to Roman Reigns and sets him up for a second Pedigree but Reigns blocks it! The 'Roman Reigns' chants go through the crowd as Reigns lifts Triple H over in a back body drop! Reigns drops to his knees, breathing heavy. He somehow pulls himself up and looks toward Triple H. A roar escapes the mouth of Roman Reigns and he punches the mat. Triple H pulls up to his feet -- Superman Punch! Triple H takes a Superman Punch and so does Sheamus as Sheamus gets up on the apron and then back down to the ringside area. Reigns moves into a corner, waiting for Triple H to get to his feet. He is perched and ready to strike. Reigns charges Triple H -- SPEAR! Reigns connects with a spear but he connects with the referee! Triple H pulls the referee into the path of Roman Reigns and Scott Armstrong is torn in half! BY GOD! Scott Armstrong's body was broken in half! Reigns looks down at the accident and he looks worried about Scott Armstrong. Sheamus slides into the ring and stands in a corner. He's just waiting for Roman Reigns to get to his feet. It looks like he is prepared for a Brogue Kick. But the sound of a car crash brings everyone to their feet!]

[it's Mick Foley! Mick Foley comes charging down to the ring and slides inside, coming face-to-face with Sheamus! Sheamus looks a little worried and then goes for a Brogue Kick but Foley avoids it! Foley kicks Sheamus in the gut -- Double Arm DDT! Foley gets to his feet and he pulls out Mr. Socko! The crowd pops for the arrival of that dirty, disgusting sock and Mr. Socko goes right down the gullet of Sheamus! Sheamus's body shakes from the feeling of the Mandible Claw with that sock! Foley gives Reigns a thumbs up, pulling Sheamus up against the ropes. Foley releases the hold and then gives Sheamus a cactus clothesline over the top rope! They spill outside the ring as Triple H blindsides Roman Reigns with a sledgehammer shot to the skull! The crowd boos loudly again! Triple H slides the sledgehammer out of the ring and motions for another referee. He covers Roman Reigns as Charles Robinson slides into the ring. Hunter hooks the leg as the referee begins the count:]

[Roman Reigns refuses to be beaten! He refuses to be held down for a three count! Triple H cannot believe it! He's hit a Pedigree! He's used the sledgehammer! What else can he do? Triple H gets up and decides to go for another Pedigree. He hooks Reigns into position and says that it's over! He leaps into the air but Reigns blocks the Pedigree at the last moment! The power of Roman Reigns shows out here at this moment! Reigns lifts Triple H over in another back body drop and both men are down on the mat. The crowd is solidly in the corner of Roman Reigns as he grabs Triple H -- Samoan Drop! Hunter is down on the mat and Reigns drags him over by the ropes, exiting the ring. Reigns draws in some deep breaths. He charges -- dropkick to the side of Triple H's head! Roman Reigns enters the ring and moves into a corner. He waits in that corner for Triple H to rise. When Hunter does, Reigns charges -- SPEAR! Reigns catches Triple H in the spear this time! A sign goes up in the crowd reading: 'Reign and Conquer!' Roman Reigns drags Hunter to the center of the ring and makes the cover, hooking the leg:]

Lesnar is doing some shadow boxing as Heyman talks to him, giving him encouragement. Heyman tells Lesnar that tonight is his night. He says that there is nobody that can beat him tonight, especially John Cena. Heyman says that Lesnar is the beast incarnate. Tonight it is eat, sleep, Conquer John Cena! According to Paul Heyman, tonight, Brock Lesnar is going to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Tonight, Brock Lesnar earns his name of the Conquerer. Brock Lesnar looks toward Heyman and says 'Enough. This is only words. I am ready for John Cena. I am ready for MY title.' Lesnar turns and walks off as Paul Heyman rings his hands together.]

The Steiner Brothers defend vs. The Usos

 

[The eighth match of the night features the WWE World Tag Team titles as The Steiner Brothers defend them against the former champions The Usos! The Steiners and The Usos do battle early and often inside the ring, exchanging blows back and forth with all four men in the ring. The Usos gain the advantage and send The Steiner Brothers out of the ring. Both Usos take turns with dives outside the ring on Scott Steiner and Rick Steiner respectively. With the last dive, a sign goes up in the background, reading: 'WHEN I SAY USE, YOU SAY HOLLA, IF YA HEAR ME!' The Usos go back into the ring and take advantage of The Steiner Brothers again and again, showing how good this brother team can be. With a backbreaker and diving elbow drop combination on Scott Steiner, The Usos score a two count. It is when Jey goes for a diving headbutt that the momentum turns in the favor of the Steiner Brothers as Scott avoids the headbutt and tags in Rick. Rick catches Jey with a Steiner-Line and barks to boos from the crowd. Rick remains in control for several minutes before Jey slides out of a Steiner-Driver attempt and brings Rick down with a superkick! Both men crawl to their corners and make tags. In comes Jimmy Uso and Scott Steiner. Jimmy catches Scott with a double underhook suplex and then sends Scott to the corner. Jimmy rushes in and lands a Stinger Splash! In comes Rick Steiner and in comes Jey Uso! All four men are in the ring doing battle! The referee is trying to get Jey Uso out of the ring as Scott Steiner lands a low blow on Jimmy Uso! Scott picks up Jimmy -- Steiner Screwdriver! Scott makes the cover, hooking the leg: One, Two, Three!]

[The Steiner Brothers pick up the victory against The Usos! Scott throws Jimmy Uso out of the ring and catches Jey with a Steiner-Line from behind! He gets on the microphone and says that tonight he proved that Big Poppa Pump and the Dog-Faced Gremlin are your hook-up! Holla if you hear me! He says that now that they have defeated the supposedly unbeatable Usos for the second time, they are done with them. But there aren't any great tag teams here in the WWE anymore. Long gone are the days of the Road Warriors, Doom, The Midnight Express, The Rock 'N' Roll Express. Scott says that he and his brother have beaten them all. He says that they have proven that they are the World's Greatest Tag Team!]

[The words of Scott Steiner bring out two men who may argue with him about his last sentence. Out from the back comes Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin. The team known as The World's Greatest Tag Team enter the ring and are given a microphone. Charlie Haas gets on the microphone and asks Scott if he mentioned something about the World's Greatest Tag Team. Because that's exactly the team that he's looking at right now. Scott tells them to get out of his ring or they're going to get hurt. Just ask the Usos. Shelton says they'd rather learn themselves. And a fight breaks out in the ring between these two teams! TWGTT get the advantage quickly and send Scott Steiner out of the ring. Charlie Haas gets a rear waistlock on Rick Steiner. Benjamin strikes him with a superkick propelling Rick over in the German Suplex! Rick rolls out of the ring and stands beside his brother. A staredown ensues between the two teams as The Steiner Brothers walk to the back. The World's Greatest Tag Team celebrate in the ring, climbing the turnbuckles and playing to the crowd.]

He says that he's the man that's been here in the arena night after night whether he has the title or he doesn't have the title. He's the guy that you know that you can count on to give 110% every single night regardless of what has happened in the past. He says that tonight he has a guy that says he's going to Conquer John Cena. That's alright. There's been a lot of guys who have claimed they have what it takes to conquer John Cena. Each and every one of them has felt the Attitude Adjustment and each and every one of them have fallen at the hands of the champ. Tonight as we go into the main event of SummerSlam, John Cena says that he is going to say the champ is here. Tomorrow night on Monday Night Raw, John Cena is going to say the champ is here. Lana says that you cannot have SummerSlam without the super-athlete of the WWE. She says that everyone knows he is better than each and every American that is in this building tonight. She says that his opponent tonight is going to lose just like the Los Angeles Lakers. She says that with the permission of Stephanie McMahon she has made an open challenge to anyone who wishes to get crushed by Rusev. That means that anyone in the building can step forward to face Rusev. Where are your Kurt Angles? Of course, as everyone knows, Kurt Angle was kicked out of the building earlier tonight by Stephanie McMahon. Where's your Olympic Hero when an open challenge has been issued by Rusev? He is a COWARD! He is an American, which is basically the same thing. Now, who is going to step forward to take on Rusev? The music that plays has everyone on their feet as he comes charging to the ring.]

[The crowd begins a 'Santino' chant as Marella enters the ring and goes right for Rusev! He throws punches to Rusev and gives him a clothesline! The crowd and Lana are all shocked as Santino seems to take an early advantage! Marella pulls out the Cobra and puts it on his hand! He hits the Cobra shot but Rusev just stands there and laughs. The Cobra seems to want to scurry away and Rusev brings Santino down with a clothesline. He gets the Cobra and tosses it out of the ring as Lana claps for the Super-Athlete. Rusev yanks Santino up and catches him with a Samoan Drop. Rusev yells at the crowd before picking up Santino and bringing him down with a swinging side slam. Less than six minutes into the match, Rusev says it's over and stomps on the back of Santino before locking in the Accolade. Within moments, Santino must tap out. Rusev has a successful defense of the United States/Russian title.]

Ambrose says that he did exactly what he said he would do tonight. He took the Money In The Bank briefcase from that sell-out Seth Rollins. He says that he is happy about his haul tonight. But, then, he says he might be happier if he left tonight as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Ambrose looks down at the briefcase, smiles and says that would really rub it in Seth Rollins' face. Maybe he should stay in the building and watch the main event instead of watching the WWE Network for $9.99. Yeah, he says, that would be better.]

John Cena defends vs. Brock Lesnar

 

[brock Lesnar comes out first as is common for the challenger to walk to the ring first. Lesnar enters the ring and stands in his corner, shadowboxing and jumping around, getting warmed up for the match. 'My Time Is Now' brings out some cheers and some boos from the crowd as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena steps out from the back. Cena gives a salute and comes down to the ring, sliding inside and raising the belt high in the air. Lesnar gets some last minute words from Paul Heyman as the title is given to referee Mike Chioda. As both men are in their corner, the referee calls for the bell. Here we go. Cena charges into the corner and begins hitting some body blows on Lesnar. Lesnar absorbs the shots but then gets taken down with a double leg takedown by Cena! Cena strikes Lesnar on the ground and Lesnar begins throwing hard shots to the body of John Cena from below. Lesnar throws a few shots to the head of Cena, causing Cena to back off and let Lesnar get to his feet. Cena pushes Lesnar back into the corner and strikes with a few knees in the corner but Lesnar turns things around and hits three shots to the body of Cena. Lesnar lifts Cena up in the corner and then onto his shoulders -- F5! Lesnar drops Cena with the F5 in this first thirty seconds! Lesnar makes the cover, hooking the leg:]

[somehow John Cena kicks out of the F5! Lesnar gets on his knees and smiles down at Cena. He shakes his head and looks over at Paul Heyman for a moment before pulling Cena up. He slaps Cena and Cena responds with a right hand! Three punches in a row and Cena drops Lesnar with a lariat! Heyman looks shocked as Cena doesn't stop. Cena mounts Lesnar and begins throwing punches! Cena has the crowd excited! He pulls Lesnar up and moves him into a corner, lifting him up. Lesnar with a headbutt to Cena. Cena gets to his feet and plays to the crowd for a moment as the 'Let's Go Cena/Cena Sucks' chants are loud here in Los Angeles. Cena picks up Lesnar and Lesnar shoves Cena back into a corner. He meets him there with several knees to the gut and then he pulls Cena out of the corner, tucking him between his legs -- Power Bomb! Lesnar holds on and gives a second power bomb! A third power bomb has Cena's shoulders on the mat: One, Two, Kickout! The announcers are left wondering how John Cena kicked out. Brock Lesnar releases Cena and then lifts him up again. He slides in behind him -- Three straight Rolling German Suplexes that ends with Cena being dropped on his head! It has to be over, right? [The crowd pops as Cena gets his shoulder up at the last moment! Brock Lesnar pulls Cena up and gets him set in that power bomb motion but Cena powers out, delivering Lesnar to the mat with a back body drop! Cena turns and crawls over to Lesnar, throwing a few punches before getting to his feet. He waits for Lesnar to get up and then he bounces off the ropes -- running leaping shoulder block! Another one! Another one drops Lesnar! He waits for Lesnar to get up and he ducks a punch, dropping Lesnar with the release spin-out power bomb! Cena looks down at Lesnar and gives the 'You Can't See Me' gesture before going for the Five Knuckle Shuffle but Lesnar grabs the arm when Cena goes for it -- Kimura Lock! Lesnar locks Cena in the Kimura Lock! Nobody has ever made John Cena tap out before! But Brock Lesnar might break his arm if he doesn't tap out. Lesnar is pulling the hold in tighter and tighter. Cena is shaking his head! He refuses to tap out! He will never quit! John Cena shows the power that runs through him as he pulls both himself and Brock Lesnar up and lifts Lesnar onto his shoulders -- Attitude Adjustment! Cena hit Lesnar with the AA! It takes a moment but Cena crawls over and makes the cover on Lesnar. Paul Heyman, outside the ring, cannot believe it!:]

Both men get to their feet and Cena moves in on Lesnar, going for the STF but Lesnar powers out of it, running a knee into Cena's gut. He pulls Cena in position -- Power Bomb! A second power bomb! A third power bomb! That makes six that he has done to John Cena in this match! Lesnar releases the last one and stands, looking a little wobbly on his feet. He picks up John Cena and slides in behind him -- Rolling German Suplexes! He does three on the train with the last one causing Cena to crash on his head! Lesnar quickly moves over to Cena and pulls him up -- F5! The second F5 of the match! Lesnar picks up Cena again -- A third F5 of the match! Lesnar makes the cover, hooking the leg:]

Lesnar is on his knees over John Cena, breathing heavy. Lesnar gives Cena a chest-slap, using Cena's body to help get to his feet as he stands over the former champion. Referee Mike Chioda raises the arm of Brock Lesnar and Lesnar raises the WWE World Heavyweight title belt. Highlights of the match are shown, including the power bombs that Lesnar gave Cena throughout the match. Also including the near-fall that John Cena got following the AA. SummerSlam is finished and we have moved toward the new beginning of the World Wrestling Entertainment's brand split. Several rules have been listed and decisions have been made before-hand as we get ready for the draft. We have gotten a list of some of those rules here for PromotionWars.com. Here is the list we have received.

 

DRAFT RULES:

 

• WWE Monday Night Raw will be run by The Authority (Triple H and Stephanie McMahon). WWE Friday Night Smackdown will be run by Mick Foley.
  
  
• The WWE Intercontinental Champion will remain on Monday Night Raw. Therefore, Dolph Ziggler will be on Monday Night Raw. The WWE United States Champion will remain on Friday Night Smackdown. Therefore, Rusev will be on Friday Night Smackdown.
  
  
• All other titles will be outside of the draft. This means that WWE World Champion Brock Lesnar, WWE Diva's Champion Paige, WWE World Tag Team Champions The Steiner Brothers and WWE Cruiserweight Champion Kofi Kingston can and will be on both shows.
  
  
• On Monday Night Raw there will be ten selections by each show. These ten selections must be eight singles wrestler, one tag team and one diva in any order. On Friday Night Smackdown, there will be the same selections made.
  
  
• After Friday Night Smackdown, all other wrestlers will be free agents and available to sign with any brand they choose.
  
  
• The commentary team for Monday Night Raw will be Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler. The commentary team for Friday Night Smackdown will be John Bradshaw Layfield and the returning Joey Styles!
  
  
• Triple H/Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley have also come to the agreement on two wrestlers. Kurt Angle will be on Monday Night Raw and The Rock will be on Friday Night Smackdown.

-SummerSlam was a huge event for the WWE! Not only did we see the victory of a brand new Undisputed WWE World Heavyweight Champion in Brock Lesnar, we saw the arrival of the man known as the Roman Empire Roman Reigns! We saw Sting make his in-ring WWE debut by pinning Randy Orton! The Greatest Party of the Summer is only going to get hotter right here on Monday Night Raw!

 

-This is the return of the WWE Brand Split. On one side, we have The Authority in Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. They control who will be coming to the Monday Night Raw side. On the other side, we have Mick Foley. He will be controlling things on the Smackdown side. He was put in place due to the victory by Roman Reigns over Triple H at SummerSlam. What will happen when the WWE holds a Draft to get the wrestlers on two separate brands?

 

-The main event of the evening will feature the number one pick for the Monday Night Raw brand against the number one pick for the WWE Friday Night Smackdown brand. Who these men are is unknown at this point but it should still be a big battle between the two cornerstones of each brand.

 

-But those are not the only matches scheduled for Monday Night Raw this week. We will also see the Devil's Favorite Demon Kane step into the ring against the man who defeated Triple H last night at SummerSlam Roman Reigns. Can Reigns continue his streak against Kane? Or will Kane pick the pieces left of Roman Reigns after a difficult match against Triple H?

 

-The newest member of The Authority, Sheamus, will step inside the ring against the veteran Goldust. Can Goldust rebound from a SummerSlam loss or will the Celtic Warrior prove his worth to The Authority?

 

-The Roughhouse Riders will make their long-awaited debut here in the WWE as they step into the ring against a dangerous team of Bo Dallas and Damien Sandow. Will the two Bo-Lievers ruin the debut of the Roughhouse Riders? Or will Shawn Hernandez and Homicide have a successful victory in their debut?

 

-One man who will not be in the building will be John Cena. After his match with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, Cena has been given the night off by The Authority. Cena will need to rest up due to some injuries caused by that match with Brock Lesnar.

 

-Plus men like Dolph Ziggler and Sting will be in the building. The WWE Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar will be here. The new Money In The Bank holder Dean Ambrose will be here live on Monday Night Raw! Make sure you tune in!

Good morning, everyone. This post will be simultaneously posted to both my WCW 1991 diary and to my WWE 2014 diary just in case there's some who read one but not the other. I am writing this post to inform my readers that I am going to be going on (hopefully) a brief hiatus from writing. How brief this hiatus will be, I am not sure. It could last a day, a week, a month, a year.

 

Without getting too personal into the reasons behind this hiatus, my Landlady passed away at the beginning of this month. She left the rental properties to her son and we (my family and I) were told that we have until the end of February to find a new home due to him wanting to sell the rental properties. That means that there are a lot of things that I have to focus on, including finding a new place to live so that my family and I are not out on the street come March. This is not to mention the holiday season coming up.

 

But I can tell you that this hiatus has nothing to do with any loss of love for either diary or for writing on this board in general. I can honestly say that I love this board and most of the people here. I may not comment in many diaries any more because I have simply gotten too busy in other things to do so. However, I am still a reader and maybe even more-so a reader now as it takes less time for me to read than it does for me to write.

 

I also want to say a thank you to my readers and predictors and to the people who mentioned me in the GDS Dynasty Show. Sometimes, I think about whether or not I've worn out my welcome here and then I see the love from the other writers and readers here and that definitely renews my spirit and my motivation.

 

I will definitely be back in some form or another. We will see what happens in the future.

Good morning,

 

This is another post that will be posted to both this diary and my WWE 2014 diary. After giving this a lot of thinking, I have decided to make an ending to both my WCW 1991 and my WWE 2014 diary. The WWE 2014 diary lasted four months, the WCW 1991 diary lasted only two months.

 

I would like to give my best reason for bringing the diaries to an end, rather than just giving them the hiatus that I spoke about previously. The best reason that I have is that if I believe that the diaries are still running (even in a hiatus) then I am going to force myself to find the time to write for them. For anyone who has written a long-term diary, I am sure that they all understand this fact. The diaries become an obsession to me. I spend a lot of waking moments thinking about my next move, even right before I go to sleep at night. I need to curb that right now as I move into a new phase in my life in r/t.

 

Thank you to everyone who has read, predicted and commented on these two fun diaries. If there are any people from a wrestling company reading this, I am available to write.

 

This doesn't mean a complete end to my diary writing here on the GDS board. It just means that right now and for the next few months I will not begin a new diary or anything of the sort. I need to take this time for real life. Thank you to everyone for understanding that real life definitely takes a front seat.

Dave has a decent sized contract in my WWE. There are some things that might not be realistic (such as The Rock being a full-time performer) but they definitely work in the game.
