Michigan is correct, it is an error. I have set CCW's prestige to 36 for a future update.

Quick question - obviously the characterization is up to me, but do more people see Virgil Hogg as trying to hold onto the past glories of AWC or trying to push it forward through BCW?

Can't say I've ever thought about it that way but I can see where you're coming from. Virgil's an old-school AWC guy so no doubt it'll come through in BCW's booking and roster.

I agree to some extent... however with his sons in the mix he is probably likely to push younger talent than the old guard, children are the future an all that, using the old guard to train up the next generation.

 

But then, the AWC was always about giving younger workers a shot, sink or swim, back in the day...

I just finished up 2014 playing as PWI. I split my roster into two brands. The Worldwide brand is the bigger guys and has the main show and the World Heavyweight Championship, Tag Team Championship, and the North American Championship. The Super-X brand is for the smaller guys and has the Super-X Championship and the Trios Championship.

 

Here are my champs:

 

World Heavyweight Champion - "Mean" Mark Taylor (The Ghost Rider)

I've got the Ghost Rider doing an American Bad Ass gimmick as the leader of the Renegade Motorcycle Club. He just took the belt off of Eli Morton and is set to main event Night of Glory against Roscoe Carmine.

 

Tag Team Champions - Dead or Alive

The Van Holt Brothers had the titles for a while, but Dead or Alive, also members of the Renegade Motorcycle Club along with Chad Zuma, have been red hot.

 

North American Champion - Seven (Seven Brandt)

Another case of going with the hot hand. He's getting over nicely. I'm about to debut Fargo Korben and Ed Brody (Hollywood Giant) to start a Wyatt Family-esque stable, and I'll probably put Seven with them.

 

Super-X Champion - Richie Santana Jr.

My user character. I've been feuding with Ryan Doherty and Tyler Mercury mostly, though Furosuto is starting to really get over. I just signed Jarid Hart, who at least has reconciled with Scott Hart, and he'll enter the title picture as well, and El Icono is always on the verge.

 

Trios Champions - Kris Phoenix, Cameron Cody, and Evan Kuja

They just took the belts off Lenny Rhodes and the Paros. I've also aligned El Estandar with The Slo-Mo Dojo to create a comedy team to have in the mix.

 

My PWI is heavy on stables and managers. Besides the aforementioned Renegade Motorcycle Club managed by Dakota Williams, here's what the others are:

Notable award winners included Kenta Sonata for Wrestler and Match of the Year, The Van Holt Brothers for Tag Team of the Year, Lenny Rhodes for Young Wrestler, Drake Richards for Veteran, PWI for Company, and PWI Road to Glory for Event.

I've started a new Tag Team with Eddy Orion and Ethan Epic called The Naturals. They are managed by Nikita.

 

Timothy Hawk is currently feuding with Drake Richards and Chaperone. Drake became jealous when Hawk was given a World Title match with Garrett South. He interfered and cost him the match.

 

I also have a 4-Way World Title Mayhem storyline going with Mr Hawaii, VIP, and Derrick Rollins wanting Garrett South's World Title.

 

I've teamed up Rollins with the Gibson Brothers as a stable resembling the Freebirds.

Firstly great work on a fantastic mod. Looking at the details it says that there are 2400 workers in the data, but I only have just over 1600. I have all the workers pictures but they don't all show up. I've tried downloading the link from the first page and from page 18 but again only 1600 workers. Ones missing are ones such as Mr Hawaii, Immortal Warrior and lots more. Have I

I have just tested the link and the file is correct (there are 2385 workers in that mod file).

 

Are you updating from a previous version? If so, I think you may not be in admin mode, so when you are installing the mod it isn't actually replacing the version you are using. It might be worth taking a look at the FAQ in the Tech Support to see if you are entering admin mode correctly and then trying again.

I think what I did was install the mod before I put TEW into admin mode. I removed the mod and reinstalled it and works a treat all the workers show up now. Thanks for your help

Maybe my question should be asked in the "Small questions" thread on the general forum, but since it concerns The Club, I allow myself to ask it here.

 

Does having two season finale event each year gives us a huge malus ?

 

I ask it because I know that The Club runs two seasons per year (January - June and July - December) and I wish to book the company the same way Lucha Underground is booked i.e. with only 1-Hour TV show, so no "Uncut", but with the difference that I wish to offer a 2-Hours major event at the end of each season.

 

Also, do you think this kind of booking is viable in the long run ?

Well more than one Season Finale a year WILL incure penatlies. Personally I'd run it as both "end of season" shows are longer events and choose between either the June or Decemeber show to be set to the Season Finale setting. That way both shows are bigger than standard, but one of them is slightly more exciting to fans.

 

Either way it makes sense cos they could either do a big summer blow-out or a spectactular end-of-year extravaganza which would account for the season finale boost

When creating or editing an event, you can set it to be the season finale.

I posted this in the TEW 2013 GD in the Name Suggestion thread but figured it couldn't hurt to put it here as well given that it is a TV game...

 

I wanted to create a New Wave-esque tandem, to become a foundation tag team in the AWF. Talented wresstlers with an interesting gimmick. Found the right talent and got some alts done. It evolved into a trio who would be a permanent combination. Since it started from the New Wave, I have a special forces slash military theme. But I can't quite find a name that I like for the stable...

I can come up with names for the group, but none feel right. Just okay, at best. I've spent time looking at real military terms and names but that didn't bear any inspiration. "Special Forces" or "The Operators" seem bleh. "Dogs of War". "Warriors". "Victory". "Elite Battle Forces". "Art of War" might be the best so far.
