Ernesto: Yes, the video of that ending is logging million hits in our youtube channel but you got to think what state of mind will Pierre be in after suffering such a humiliation even after he had retained his title. .

 

Camilo: Food for thought there bro, but we are hearing some commotion out in the backstage

Bear is seen creating a ruckus in the backstage area where he is throwing the garbage bins like some stone into the walls.

 

Bear: This is outrageous. Bear getting pinned by Erik. This is a dream. It is some sort of sabotage. Not in a million years can Erik pin me. I demand an investigation and a rematch so that i can prove that this is absolutely nonsensical.

 

Amidst the bickering of Bear, suddenly another voice can be heard.

 

???:Please keep quiet Bear. You are making a bad example of yourself.

 

Bear: Who the hell are you?? Show yourself to me.

 

???:In time Bear. But from now on, you will address me as The Authority. I have bought over GWS and from now on, i will be running the show and since your actions are a lot less desirable than it should be, tonight you face Ares

 

Ernesto:What?? New owner of GWS?? How the hell did that happened?? Did we lose it in poker??

 

Camilo: I am not sure how that happened bro but if the news is true then we are going to be in hard times just like Bear is about to find out tonight.

Top Militia Title: That 70's Team v/s Waveriders

 

 

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, That 70s Team defeated The Waveriders in 12:34 when DISCO Fox defeated Riptide by pinfall with The Last Dance. That 70s Team make defence number 7 of their GWS Top Militia titles.

 

Grade: 41

 

A bigger challenge than last month. Waveriders really took the champs head on and dominated the match for the major part of it but could not finish it off as a misunderstanding between partners led to DISCO Fox capitalising and pinning Riptide with a Last Dance.

 

Ernesto:Another title defense put in by the champs. They are looking invulnerable at the moment.

 

Camilo: Don't agree there. It all came down due to a misunderstanding between the partners and Fox was lucky to be present at the right time.

Red Phoenix Title Ladder Match: Joshua Blaize v/s Tony Ramos

 

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Tony Ramos defeated Joshua Blaize in 8:28 by pinfall with a Thunder Lariat. During the match we also had Kevin Maxx run in and attack Joshua Blaize. Tony Ramos wins the GWS Red Phoenix title.

 

Grade: 38

 

Shocking shocking win for Tony Ramos. The big man completely manhandles Blaize destroying him completely with two successive Mountain Bombs but could not take advantage as the ladder could not sustain his weight and broke away. This gave Blaize some leeway and he came back firing in a lot of ladder based offenses but Ramos tag team partner Maxx ran in and turned this into a handicap match and Blaize had nowhere to go.

 

The only question was how will Ramos climb up the ladder but this was also solved as Maxx came in with a forklift and lifted Ramos towards the belt.

 

Ernesto: My God!!! A sight to behold for years to come.Ramos wins the tile!!!

 

Camilo: With a forklift!!!This alone will ensure a healthy DVD sales i am telling you but i wonder where did these two meatheads got that thing??

 

And then as the forklift was bringing down the new champ , the arena goes dark and the screen flashes:

Just when the ring had been cleared, smokes engulf the whole entrance area and Highway to Hell by AC/DC starts blaring out from the speakers and the whole arena goes dark.

 

As the lights come back, we see the Hell Bringer standing in the middle of the ring.

Ares V/s Bear Zanev

 

In a bout that had a good crowd and some decent in-ring action, Ares defeated Bear Zanev in 10:49 by pinfall with a High Release German Suplex.

 

Grade: 40

 

Zanev was intimidated by the whole Ares entrance and this made him weak and Ares easily dispatched him by his patented High Release German Suplex. It seems he had worked on his body a lot in these two years as he was able to easily lift Zanev and suplex him.

 

 

Ernesto: What a debut by Ares. Suplexing multiple times the monster Zanev easily. Will these be the start of Ares streak??

 

Camilo: Well, things have turned nasty here. An unknown authority, Ares mean streak, Hell's Army's possible recruitment, what else do we see tonight??

Erik Wayne V/s Shanon Sorensen

 

In a bout that had a good crowd and some decent in-ring action, Erik Wayne defeated Shannon Sorensen in 14:12.

 

Grade: 32

 

Another upset win there but this time it was evident that there was something else which was helping Erik win his matches. As Shanon was dominating and tried to go for the finish with his Springboard Splash, during the leap in mid-air his eyes became dazed and he lost control of his leap and crashed into the ring and Erik took advantage of it pinning Sorensen and taking the match.

 

After the match got over, as Erik was leaving the ring, we see two figure running to the ring.

Maxx Muscle have arrived and they roughed up Sorensen pretty hard. Ramos providing the finishing touch by Mountain Bomb-ing Sorensen through two tables.

People's Representative Title: Rico Escobar V/s Pierre Lejosne

 

In a bout that had a good crowd and some decent in-ring action, Pierre Lejosne defeated Rico Escobar in 18:23 by submission with a Canadian Enforcement. Pierre Lejosne makes defence number 6 of his GWS People's Representative title.

 

Grade: 62

 

A big big match and it lived up to the expectations. Pierre is our MVP and it got proved once again as he wrestled Rico to our current MOTY candidate.The street brawling style of Rico posed some problems for Pierre but his technique and class meant he quickly got grasp of the style and changed his game plan according to it incorporating lot of chops and punches in his attack weakening Rico enough to hit his Canadian Enforcement.

Bio: Championship Wrestling from Tennessee was opened by Austin McCall in 1974 and at the time looked set to be a minor promotion for its entire lifespan. In fact, it seemed set to be nothing more than a Mid-South sideshow right up until the late 1990s when the problems of the WWWE became apparent. When the WWWE finally died CWT began attracting fans that were tired of the former powerhouse's childish entertainment and wanted something akin to the traditional sport they had grown up with.

 

In 2002 Championship Wrestling from Tennessee was taken over by well-known sports journalist JD Briscoe. The resulting cash injection helped push CWT forward and for a time they were considered to be one of the "Big Four" promotions in the US, drawing fans from across the South. However, by 2014 cashflow problems had hit the company again, and as attendances slipped with the success of PWI and the AWF, CWT were forced to release many of its biggest stars to balance the books.

In an extremely poor match, Joshua Blaize defeated Brandon Morgan and DISCO Fox in 11:34 when Joshua Blaize defeated Brandon Morgan by pinfall with an Out Of Control Blaize.

 

Grade: 38

 

Still smarting from his defeat to Tony Ramos last month, Joshua Blaize was determined to win this match and he did just that taking control and never letting it go. Fox tried dancing his way to victory but it was not to be.

 

 

Ernesto: Blaize registers the win. So, the rematch between Blaize and Ramos will happen

 

Camilo: That's right but before that Ramos has to go through Devastation next.

Joey was there to provide just a routine defense for Ramos. Nothing much to write about. A middle rope Mountain Bomb ended the match.

In a match that had an average crowd reaction but featured terrible wrestling, Erik Wayne defeated Rico Escobar in 14:11 by pinfall with a Reality Hits You Hard.

 

Grade: 31

 

The reveal of the video at the start of the night shocked the entire crowd as well as Erik as he was totally unaware of the same. He looked a little shaken at the start of the match and Rico took full advantage of it as he hit haymakers after haymakers to rock Erik's senses. But unfortunately, Rico fell into his own trap when he tried to smash a chair but Erik ducked at the right moment and the chair rebounded from the rope right into Rico's face. A Reality Hits You Hard gave the win to Erik.

 

Ernesto: Erik wins. But that video will surely scar his victories. Even he didn't know about hypnosis. Who could have done that??

 

Camilo: That's bullshit. He wears the locket everytime he comes in ring and he doesn't know what is in it. Can it be believed??

 

Their bickering continued and the camera cut to backstage where we see Pierre walking towards the entrance perhaps to address the crowd. Just then, we see Ares blocking his path.

Pierre: I am not really interested in you or your foul mouth. But remember one thing Ares, previously also, i was the one who had kicked you out of GWS and this time also i will be the one doing the honors.

 

Just then, a female voice boomed in the nearby speakers, the same one which we had heard last month addressing Zanev.

 

Authority: You want to bicker all night or let your hands do the talking?? You two and the People's Representative belt, in the ring, right now!!!!

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Pierre Lejosne drew with Ares in 16:10 when the referee lost control and stopped the match.

 

Grade: 68

 

Our MOTY candidate right here. These two gave GWS the best ever match so far. It was and out and out pier six brawl out and the chemistry between these two elevated the match to greater heights. A Canadian Enforcement brought in the first pinfall attempt which was kicked out by Ares. It was soon followed up by an Ares-plex by Ares which was again kicked out by Pierre. With no ending in sight, the action spread to floor and both of them started hitting each other with anything they could grab. With no option left, referee had to throw the match.

With Ramos and Pierre brawling, Kevin Maxx came running in with a chair and smacked it right into the back of Pierre's head. From there on, it was successive double con-chair-tos which completely decimated Pierre.

Brandon Morgan v/s Lord Simon Darcy

 

 

In an extremely poor match, Brandon Morgan defeated Lord Simon Darcy in 9:46 by pinfall with a M-Factor 3000.

 

Grade: 37

 

Brandon Morgan was determined to get a win so he didn't let Darcy even start the match. Before he could enter the ring, Brandon jumped on him like a wild wolf suplexing him 3 times on the ground. It was not long before he hit the M-Factor 3000 for the win.

Tables Match: Joshua Blaize v/s Tony Ramos

 

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Tony Ramos defeated Joshua Blaize in a Tables match in 9:10 when Joshua Blaize was put through a table. Tony Ramos makes defence number 2 of his GWS Red Phoenix title.

 

Grade: 38

 

Joshua Blaize started the match with a flurry of kicks to Ramos gut which weakened the champ. A springboard dive floored Ramos but luckily for him there was no table. Another attempt at doing the same with the table was foiled by Ramos though as he caught Blaize and slammed him down. A Mountain Bomb on the same table ended the match.

 

Camilo: Ramos retains his title.

 

Ernesto: Blaize once again unable to stop the Mountain Bomb from hitting. He must be feeling gutted. He had the chance but just could not take it.

 

Camilo: Up next, the three way between Rico, Sorensen and Bear. All three of them were cheated by Erik even though he did not knew anything. Somebody sabotaged him!

Shannon Sorensen v/s Rico Escobar v/s Bear Zanev

 

 

In a bout that had a good crowd and some decent in-ring action, Shannon Sorensen defeated Bear Zanev and Rico Escobar in 13:03 when Shannon Sorensen defeated Bear Zanev by pinfall with a Springboard Splash.

 

Grade: 39

 

Sorensen's high flying offense gave him the upper hand in the match. A Bear Clutch on Rico almost ended the match but Sorensen came to rescue. Rico used his street level offense to create an impact but Sorensen and Zanev cut him off easily.A springboard splash from Sorensen ended the match in his favor.

 

Camilo: Sorensen wins. He gets to take on Erik once gain. But now, the moment that we have been waiting for.

 

Ernesto: Now, it's time.

 

Suddenly the screen comes alive with images of a perfectly crafted athlete slamming his opponents into the ground and crowd popping hard.

Marcus Franklin/Ares v/s Pierre Lejosne/Erik Wayne

 

 

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Ares and Marcus Franklin defeated Pierre Lejosne and Erik Wayne in 15:26 when Marcus Franklin defeated Erik Wayne by submission with an Ankle Lock.

 

Grade: 60

 

Franklin made a big impact in his debut showcasing his wrestling skills to the fullest. A series of holds and counter holds between Pierre and Marcus got big reactions from the crowd. Pierre got the first opportunity when he hit a Bulldog and followed up with a Canadian Enforcement on Ares but Marcus saved the day. Erik also tried to hit his Reality Hits You Hard on Marcus but he ducked and then countered by grabbing his ankle and locking the Ankle Lock. While Erik tried to fight off the submission, Ares had taken Pierre off the ring and into the crowd hitting him with audience chairs.Soon Erik had to tap giving Marcus a win on his debut.

Bio: Bluegrass Championship Wrestling is a "good ole wrasslin" promotion based in Kentucky. With a product that is steeped in the traditions of Southern wrestling promotions such as Championship Wrestling from Tennessee and the Mississippi Boxing And Wrestling Commission of the 1960s, BCW is unashamedly traditional, fiercely patriotic and, more often than not, an awful lot of fun.

 

Opened by Kentucky wrestling legend Virgil Hogg in 2014, BCW was the first purpose-built American Wrestling Council promotion since the late 1990s and is seen by many as a marker by which to judge the success of the "new" AWC as a whole.

 

One thing that does set Bluegrass Championship Wrestling apart from its rivals is that it uses a live band to perform entrance music. That band is, of course, an electrified bluegrass quintet.
