10-9 Aldo

Round 2

Edgar throws a huge right hand and Aldo throws a huge right hand! They both land HARD!. Edgar goes down and Aldo nearly goes down. Aldo springs forward wobbly to rain punishment on Edgar but Frankie is unconscious. It's over here. Sorry Frankie.

Jose Aldo Knock Out (Punch) Frankie Edgar at 0:12 of Round 2

<img src=http://i.imgur.com/uGBJdEE.jpg>

Round 1

A standing duel sees Ellis throw mostly kicks and Rawlings throw mostly punches, but Rawlings was landing more.

10-9 Rawlings

Round 2

More striking in round two. Ellis outlands Rawlings and did significant damage to Bec's legs. Rawlings was limping by round's end.

10-9 Ellis

Round 3

Ellis again is all over Rawlings' legs. She can barely walk she has taken so much damage. Ellis eats some shots but always gives better than she gets.

10-9 Ellis

Round 4

Rawlings is near immobile. Rooted to the spot Ellis tries to takedown Bec but Rawlings is able to stuff it, somehow. Ellis is trying to strike but Rawlings does well enough to keep her much smaller opponent at bay. She levels Ellis with a right hook but doesn't have the speed to follow it up due to her bum leg. Ellis loses out in most of the exchanges this round, Rawlings has far more power.

10-9 Rawlings

Round 5

Lisa Ellis gets blasted by a right hook and hits the mat, Rawlings dives in to finish it but can't. Ellis sweeps Rawlings out of guard and is able to eventually mount Rawlings. Rawlings rolls over and gives up her back. Ellis is raining ground and pound and trying to soften her up for the RNC but doesn't get it.

10-9 Ellis.

Judge's Decision - 48-47 times three....for your winner and the first UFC Women's Strawweight Championship....LISA ELLIS

*Lisa Ellis also is the winner of The Ultimate Fighter: A Champion Will Be Crowned

Chad Mendes vs. Conor McGregor

McGregor was able to use range and big strikes to keep Mendes at bay. Throughout the fight Mendes took down McGregor three times but wasn't able to do damage or keep him down. McGregor wins 29-28 times three and will face the winner of tonight's main event.

Holly Holm vs. Sara McMann

Round 1, Holly Holm ripped apart McMann's chin, including a left high kick that sat her down. Round 2 McMann got Holm down early and was able to sit on top of her. With all the marbles at stake in round 3 Holm was able to stay at range and pick apart McMann at will. 29-28 times three for Holm.

Rick Story vs. Tarec Saffiedine

Saffiedine was beating Story to the punch repeatedly and badly but Story was able to get it to the ground, however Saffiedine is an ADCC level grappler and he was able to avoid the ground and pound. He slapped on an armbar and put Story away. Story's title aspirations have been seriously dented and Saffiedine has righted his ship after his defeat to Rory MacDonald.

UFC 187: Hendricks vs. Lombard Results

<img src=http://i.imgur.com/XTkt4Kb.jpg>

Round 1

Hendricks gets blasted with a huge left and he nearly goes down! Lombard rushes in to finish the job but Hendricks takes Lombard down as he tries to regain his wits. He does complete the takedown, and is in Lombard's guard. Lombard tries his hand at a few submissions and eventually sweeps him from guard ending in mount. The round ends before Lombard can do any damage though.

10-9 Lombard

Round 2

Hendricks wrestle****s Lombard for five minutes by smothering him against the mat. Lombard is trying for submissions but Hendricks is just laying on him. Just as Yves Lavigne moves to stand them tough, Lombard sweeps Hendricks. Once again however, there is no time for Lombard to do anything.

10-9 Hendricks

Round 3

They engage and Hendricks goes to grapple Lombard. Lombard tries to move away from the grapple and creates space but Hendricks grabs a muay thai plum. Lombard rips his head out of it and Hendricks can't maintain control. As Lombard moves out of the plum he launches a massive right uppercut that plants Hendricks on the mat. It landed hard! Lombard races to the ground and rains blow after blow on Hendricks nearly putting him away! Hendricks turtles and Lombard moves to mount. Some big blows land and Lavigne is inching closer! Lombard lets out an audible yelp, and shakes his left hand. It appears he may have done some serious damage while trying to finish Hendricks. It gives Hendricks a few moments to reset as Lombard's pace has slowed. Hendricks is trying to move Lombard but can't. Lombard isn't able to mount the same offense as he did earlier despite maintaining mount position. He is fighting though, enough to leave Lavigne from standing them. He doesn't do any real damage though, he may have gassed from trying to put Hendricks away and he may have seriously injured his left hand.

10-8 Lombard

Round 4

Lombard tells his corner he thinks he really hurt his hand. They don't throw in the towel though, they tell him to get Hendricks to the mat and sub him. Lombard comes out rifling off leg kicks. Hendricks goes to grapple but does nothing before Lombard pulls out of it. Hendricks grapples Lombard again and Lombard is able to turn Hendricks around, drive him into the cage and then release him. Hendricks comes in for a double leg but Lombard sprawls and forces 'Bigg Rigg' to turtle up. Lombard hits some ground and pound and begins working for the rear naked. He finally gets his arm under the chin and he flattens out Hendricks, but the round ends. Hendricks will need a finish.

10-9 Lombard

Round 5

Hendricks gets hit in the face a lot but he manages to back Lombard into the cage with a clinch and he lays on him until the fight ends.

10-9 Hendricks

Judge's Decision - 48-47 times three for your winner...AND STILL UFC WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD, JOHNY 'BIGG RIGG' HENDRICKS

(OOC: This is such freaking bullshit. I'm so livid. Not only did Hendricks get a complete absolute robbery but he won't be back for 5 months because of the beating he took and Lombard will miss sixth with his broken wrist. And this completely screws up Rory MacDonald's title shot because Lombard deserves a rematch.)

Mark Hunt vs. Stipe Miocic

Mark Hunt beats Stipe's ass for three rounds. Bludgeoned him bad and stuffed two takedown attempts, Hunt finally finished Miocic with an insane liver kick that crumpled Miocic like a piece of paper. Hunt edges himself into a position to challenge Cain if Cain beats Arlovski.

Eddie Alvarez vs. Benson Henderson

MMA's hottest free agent's debut in the UFC was spoiled by Donald Cerrone. His return bout proved he's for real and he wasn't a mistake as he bullied the former lightweight champion for three rounds before putting him out of his misery with a vicious right cross. Henderson said afterward he'd be considering a move to featherweight.

Michael McDonald vs. Johnny Eduardo

McDonald avoided a nightmare against Eduardo. For three rounds Eduardo was able to take down McDonald and beat him up from guard. Boring but effective. In round three, after several previous attempts, McDonald was able to slap on an arm triangle and make it stick.

Scott Jorgensen vs. Chris Cariaso

Jorgensen puts himself on a winning streak and makes himself a realistic contender at 125 by besting top-10 Cariaso.

Dana White Calls Judge's Decision Disgraceful, Seriously Considered Stripping Johnny Hendricks of Title

Dana White talked at length at the UFC 187 post fight press conference about the main event. In fact the talk may have been seen as unprofessional, even for Dana White. White expressed adamant disapproval with the judge's decision to find Johny Hendricks the winner in his bout against Hector Lombard. Most media outlets had Lombard winning the fight, including all of the media outlets included at mmadecisions.com. Most scored the bout 49-46 Lombard with some 48-47s for the challenger. Others even gave Lombard a 10-8 round for scores of 49-45 and 48-46. Hector Lombard expressed his thoughts that he had clearly won the fight but wasn't at the press conference due to a trip to the hospital concerning his left hand.

Johny Hendricks was thrilled with the decision and was in seeming disbelief that he had won during the announcement. Instead of his usual wrapping of the belt around the waste of the winner, Dana White instead handed the belt to Hendricks and stormed out of the cage. He went over and shook hands and exchanged words with Lombard. When asked what he said Dana replied, "I was promising him his rematch. He deserves that much." Hendricks maintained the belief that he clearly did enough to win the fight suggesting he won rounds 1,3 & 5. Hendricks said he thought the judge's got the decision absolutely correct and he was rightfully vindicated in his beliefs at the decision. Hendricks did also admit that he hadn't fought his best and the performance was below his expectations. Dana White spoke almost as if the current 170lb champ wasn't even in the room let alone one foot to his left. White went as far as to say he even considered stripping Hendricks of his title and awarding it to Lombard in some fashion but decided the best he could do was provide Lombard with his win bonus despite the judge's call.

Lombard Rematch Bid Put In Peril

As feared, Hector Lombard was confirmed to have a broken left wrist after his title fight against Johny Hendricks. Lombard hurt his hand in the third round of his bout while in mount as he rained blows down on Johny Hendricks. A left punch hit the corner of Hendricks chin and bent in at an awkward angle. The result is two fractures in Lombard's wrist.

There is no clear timetable as of now but early estimates suggest Lombard will be out around six months. This means he may not be able to get his immediate rematch against Hendricks. It is uncertain if Dana White will be willing to wait for Lombard to get his wrist fixed before having Hendricks put his title on line, or if Hendricks will face another challenger in the intervening time period. Rory MacDonald was the expected #1 contender for Saturday night's winner and would appear to be next in line if Lombard can't go. There is no word yet on White's intentions.

Shogun Talks Shocking Heavyweight Announcement

If you heard that Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua was switching weightclasses, you'd immediately assume he'd be following the Lyoto Machida blueprint and step down to middleweight. You'd be wrong. Rua has always been a smaller Light Heavyweight, his walking weight is regularly around 205lbs, and has stunningly decided to try his hand at the heavyweight division. After suffering much trouble in his recent 205lb run it is no surprise that Rua considered a change to his landscape. What is surprising is that he's decided to move upward?

"It's different. I'm older. I don't want to worry about cutting 20 pounds, it's something I never wanted to do. It is easier to put on more muscle than it is for me to cut so much weight, I've never tried to cut weight. I decided I needed a change in division, I haven't had much success lately but I think I can challenge at the highest level of UFC in the heavyweight division."

It will be tough for Rua to succeed in the heavyweight division against the heavier fighters. Some of these guys may boast 60 pound weight advantages on Shogun. It is true that Shogun will enjoy a smaller talent pool at 265lbs then he did at 205lbs and the thinner division may allow for a larger chance at UFC gold for the aging Shogun. No doubt that was apart of his decision to move up in weight but how he has been able to keep it a secret is another story. When asked why he is fighting Big Nog, Rua said it was because he couldn't pass up the chance to fight a legend. The only way Rua could think to honor such a legend in Brazilian MMA was to face him in the cage.

Rafael Natal Suspended After Post Fight Drug Test

Rafael Natal lost to Ricardo Abreu at UFC 187. The post fight drug test provided more bad news. Rafael Natal tested positive for trace amounts of cocaine and as a result will be suspended for twelve months. Natal maintains his innocence and swears there is no chance the tests were accurate. The UFC could not be reached for comment but it is expected that they will fully honor the ruling. No word on Natal's future with the organization.

UFC 188: Pettis vs. Nurmagomedov Results

<img src=http://i.imgur.com/8AiCIWc.jpg>

Round 1

Pettis and Khabib take shots at one another, Pettis embarrassing Khabib for awhile. Khabib is darting in and out gauging distance but eating shots as a result. Finally Khabib grapples with Pettis and bullies him straight back into the cage. While pressing him against the cage Khabib is unloading with dirty boxing. He hits Pettis with a scything elbow and immediately Pettis has a cut above his right eye. Blood is trickling down. Nurmagomedov yanks Pettis out from the cage and is able to trip him back into the cage and to the mat. Pettis ends up seated against the cage with his legs trapped underneath Nurmagomedov. Khabib is looking for a guillotine but he can't find it. He tries beating into Pettis a little but isn't doing anything. The round will end, Pettis is leaking steadily from his right eye. Not good for being so early in the fight.

10-9 Khabib

Round 2

Pettis' eye has been doctored well enough but a good blow by Nurmagomedov will open him up again. Eating a leg kick or two Khabib is able to force Pettis into the cage. After driving a few shoulder thrusts into Anthony's chin Nurmagomedov is able to trip him down, Pettis pulls half guard. Pettis is able to find an underhook while Khabib is transitioning and they go standing but Khabib is relentless and clinches him as they get standing. Khabib drives Pettis into the fence and hits him with some strong knees to the thigh. Khabib looks for an elbow but Pettis won't allow him the distance. Pettis is able to use a whizzer to separate himself from Pettis. They meet back in the center of the cage where Pettis hits Khabib with an explosive right hook. Pettis took two jabs to the right eye for that though and he is trickling again from his eye. The round ends.

10-9 Khabib

Round 3

Pettis was able to keep Khabib at bay for over half the round before Khabib finally landed a takedown. While Nurmagomedov was trying to advance position and land some ground and pound, Pettis was too good and stifled his attempts.

10-9 Pettis

[b[Round 4[/b]

They meet in close range and Pettis soars a right hook over the ducking Nurmagomedov. Khabib takes the moment to grapple with Pettis who he tried to shove into the cage but Anthony defended well. Pettis begins to try and break free of the grapple but Khabib has underhooks and rips Pettis to the mat. Khabib is on top of Pettis who is on all fours. Khabib is unloading with big shots and Pettis is very close to getting stopped. Pettis tries to roll but it gives Khabib a chance to float over onto his back. Khabib continues to unload with shots and he gets the hooks in, in the process. Nurmagomedov gets the arm under the chin! HE FLATTENS HIM! IT'S OVER

Khabib Nurmagomedov Submits (Rear Naked Choke) Anthony Pettis at 4:14 of Round 4

----Main Card----

Ronaldo Souza vs. Yoel Romero

ROMERO IS DIRTY! Souza took him down in round one but wasn't able to do anything. Actually Romero was able to slip out of an armbar attempt by the BJJ god, Souza. When the fight was standing Romero was outstriking Souza. In round two Romero was able to grapple and shove Souza into the cage. He roughed him up there with some dirty boxing and unloaded a vicious tight right uppercut that landed on Souza's chin. Souza was immediately unconscious. Romero is edging into title talk.

Antonio Silva vs. Oleksiy Oliynyk

Bigfoot derailed the OO hype train after almost being tapped. Oliynyk was on Bigfoot's back and almost subbed him via RNC. He had it in, hooks in and Silva's eyes began rolling back in his head. Then the round one. Now in round two Oliynyk dived for a takedown and Silva hit him with a right hook that put him out.

Dan Henderson vs. Fabio Maldonado

Maldonado was overmatched and outclassed. Henderson repeatedly took him to the mat and destroyed him with ground and pound and stifling pressure. It was a surprise that Maldonado didn't get stopped.

Dong Hyun Kim vs. Martin Kampmann

The Stun Gun is back, at the expense of Kampmann. It was a dull bout just a bunch of stand up exchanges where Kim barely out pointed Kampmann. Martin now has three straight losses.

<img src=http://usatmmajunkie.files.wordpress.com/2013/07/mike-dolce-1-sm.jpg?w=150&h=150&crop=1>

Mike Dolce Announced as CM Punk's Next Opponent

Mike Dolce is famous for his "Dolce Diet" and for training Quinton Jackson. Dolce has become a famed MMA trainer, specifically focusing on fitness. Dolce's clients stay in peak physical condition, and Dolce himself is known for his renowned physique. Dolce has even become an integral part of the UFC as well. Dolce is the pioneer of the UFCFit program as well as a featured member of the EA UFC video game.

Dolce's success has been able to seemingly erase his horrid MMA record. That's right. You read that correctly. Mike Dolce used to be an MMA fighter. It's how he entered the business. Mike Dolce went 5-10 in his MMA career when he hung up the gloves in 2010. He has since mentioned that he had never hung up the gloves officially and wanted a return to the ring. Dolce, despite his current relationship, never fought in the UFC. His 5-10 record came in other promotions against other fighters, no one of significant note. Dolce has now been announced as the next opponent for WWE-crossover CM Punk.

CM Punk's debut was against octagon veteran Ivan Salaverry, who pioneered the usage of various ground and pound techniques. The bout ended in a 29-28 unanimous decision for CM Punk as he was able to stave off the Salaverry takedown attempts and outstrike Salaverry to a victory. Salaverry had a 15-9 career MMA record and a history as a legend of the early days of mixed martial arts. Mike Dolce on the other hand is no legend nor would anyone mistake him for an octagon pioneer. Rather Mike Dolce's paltry record is reflective of a man who just never had much of a pension for in-ring ability. Instead, Dolce's fitness caught the eye of some and his ability to whip high level fighters into shape is what has helped launch his career. So why enter the cage again?

Well the same story that we've heard with Rich Franklin and Ivan Salaverry. Mike Dolce believes he still has something to put out in the cage. Dolce says he wants one last chance to prove he can get it done and with his relationship with the UFC he'd be foolish not to try. Reportedly, Mike Dolce near begged for the chance to take on CM Punk. White was reluctant to give Dolce a chance at all let alone to CM Punk, but after some persuasion he acquiesced. Dana White was, allegedly, concerned that Mike Dolce didn't have the level of ability to compete in the UFC. Dolce pressed White, saying that Punk had no experience nor expectation to succeed at this level yet was given an opportunity.

Mike Dolce will likely be the underdog against CM Punk. Something astounding to actually type. No one would have expected CM Punk to win even one fight in the octagon let alone be the favorite in any fight in his second outing. Many will criticize the booking, citing the age of Ivan Salaverry and recent lack of success as the reason why CM Punk was able to beat the cage veteran. Now many are going to accuse the UFC of trying to turn CM Punk into a 'can crusher' by placing him in matches against a far lower quality of opposition. Mike Dolce will be seeking to silence those critics by beating CM Punk this September.

UFC Announces Strawweight Division

In a shocking surprise Dana White and the UFC announced another roster expansion. On the heels of adding a new Women's Strawweight division the UFC has announced a new men's Strawweight division. The new weight class follows the same weight restrictions as the women's division, 106-115. Dana White made an "off-the-cuff" comment late last year about the possibility of opening a new division but no one assumed him to be serious.

According to White there are already several fighters in the division and the UFC is confident of their ability to field another high quality division.

UFC 189: Velasquez vs. Arlovski Results

<img src=http://i.imgur.com/hstTfih.jpg>

Round 1

They touch hands and take on each other in the middle of the cage. Velasquez tosses a ducking overhead right but Arlovski swings a right high kick that does some serious damage as Cain ducked right into it. Cain wobbles backward and avoids the overhand right from Arlovski. Arlovksi smells blood in the water and he is just swinging. All of them are missing though and Cain is surviving. He's making Arlovski look bad, Arlovski just can't hit him. Cain is running away. Finally Arlovski lands a few straight rights but Cain dives in for a takedown. He puts Arlovksi down and sits in his guard. Cain transitions to side control and hits some shots before the round ends.

10-9 Arlovski

Round 2

Velasquez comes out and grasps Arlovski immediately, but Arlovski was able to break free. Arlovski is coming forward tossing strikes but he just can't land. Arlovski out throws Velasquez by a silly margin but Velasquez outlanded the "Pitbull."

10-9 Velasquez

Round 3

Velasquez and Arlovski grapple. Velasquez tries to drive Arlovski back but Arlovski is able to break free. Cain gets him again and tries to push him back but Arlovski flips him around so that Cain is against the cage. Arlovski is, surprisingly, able to exert some control over Cain for awhile. The two are separated and they tussle again but the round ends.

10-9 Arlovski

Round 4

Getting tired of standing with him, Velasquez grips up Arlovski and lays on him against the cage doing no damage but taking none either.

10-9 Velasquez

Round 5

Velasquez takes Arlovski down early in the round and lays on him in a snoozer. No action.

10-9 Velasquez

Judge's Decision - 48-47 times three for your winner...Cain Velasquez!

Main Card

Anderson Silva vs. Luke Rockhold

Anderson is still king. He nearly retired Rockhold in the first but Luke survived. The second round Anderson destroyed Luke in the stand up but Rockhold didn't go down. In round three Luke was able to take Anderson down early and he laid on him the entire time. 29-28 for the Spider. He called out Chris Weidman afterward asking for another shot at him.

John Howard vs. Josh Burkman

Howard outstruck Burkman the whole way and in the second round he crushed him with a left hook. Howard now owns back-to-back victories over ranked opponents including a win against Carlos Condit.

Abel Trujillo vs. Carlos Diego Ferreira

Trujillo is a machine. The match was expected to be close and Ferreira was undefeated but Trujillo ran through him. A high kick sent Ferreira to the mat and Trujillo used a diving right to send him into REM.

Tom Lawlor vs. Jan Blachowicz

Lawlor started the night of finishes by hitting Blachowicz with a wicked right hook. The 'Filthy Mauler' is marching up the thinning Light Heavyweight ranks.

UFC 190: Jones vs. Johnson

<img src=http://i.imgur.com/07YzsPU.jpg>

Round 1

They exchange leg kicks to start and Jon Jones got kicked in the nuts. Good star chaps. Back to it. They exchange and the shots are equal in measure. Rumble throws a stunning spinning back kick that connects and appears to rattle Jones. Jones launches back with his trademark spinning elbow though and Rumble crumples. Bones comes in and slaps on a kimura. He has to do an awful lot of fighting for it but he gets it!

Jon Jones Submits (Kimura) Anthony Johnson at 4:48 of Round 1

Rich Franklin vs. Tom Watson

Painfully lopsided fight. Franklin just tagged Watson repeatedly and whipped him around the cage with strikes. Never close. Sorry Tom.

Mauricio Rua vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira

Rua and Big Nog battles for three rounds in a bit of a war. The first round was a slugfest. Nog was able to hit Rua with some stiff rights but Rua outstruck him overall. The second round saw Nog get a hold of Rua and use his weight advantage by grinding him into the cage for awhile before slamming him viciously into the canvas. Enter round three and Rua was on his horse for most of it, sticking and moving. Nog just couldn't keep up. Actually, at the end of the round Rua snapped on a muay thai clinch and blasted Big Nog with one heavy knee to his chest. Shogun makes a splash at heavyweight.

Ross Pearson vs. Thiago Tavares

Pearson outboxed Tavares for two full rounds making Tavares look bad. Finally at the beginning of the third round Tavares was able to get his hands on Pearson but Pearson ripped from the hold. As Pearson came back out of the hold he smashed Tavares with a right hook, left hook combo. Pearson is trying to climb the rankings, still reeling from the Sanchez robbery.

Brad Pickett vs. Chris Kelades

One Punch is trying to become a Flyweight contender. Good start. Kelades did his best but Pickett picked him apart on the feet and outwrestled him. An overhead right ended the bout in round three.

Dan Henderson Retires

Dan Henderson retires from active competition at the age of 44. Henderson finishes his illustrious career with a record of 32-12 and two wins to end his stint. A TKO of Glover Teixeira and a UD over Fabio Maldonado are the icing on Henderson's career cake. It was rumored that he'd been considered in the title picture prior to his sudden announcement. Hendo claimed he just didn't feel he could continue to compete at the highest levels of his sport and he didn't want to leave with a blemish. Happy to fade into the sunset with a winning streak and a twinkle in his eye, Henderson is eyeing a career in broadcasting.

UFC 191: Cruz vs. Barao

<img src=http://i.imgur.com/6tKpKxo.jpg>

Round 1

Renan Barao rushes Cruz but Cruz is unfazed. Cruz throws a left head kick that hits flush and collapses Barao. Cruz follows him to the mat and unloads on him but Barao is able to hold on. Eventually Barao gets half guard and is able to get the fight stood up. Barao hits Cruz with a right cross but eats an uppercut in the process that wobbles him to the ground. The round ends before Cruz adds more punishment.

10-9 Cruz

Round 2

Barao throws a high kick and slips. He almost hits the ground but regains his balance in time to get clobbered by a Cruz cross (think Woodley-Koscheck). Barao hits the mat but is aware and Cruz motions for him to stand. Barao gets caught out again with a left hook and he's wobbly. Barao is really outclassed. Cruz grabs him and turns him into the cage with his wrestling. Cruz is bullying Barao with shoulder smashes and knees and foot stomps. Cruz is able to really hurt Barao with dirty boxing. He grabs him in the muay thai plum and unloads with a massive knee to the head. Barao somehow remains standing and eats another huge knee to his chest at the bell.

10-8 Cruz

Round 3

The first half of the round is spent standing. Barao is actually beating Cruz to the punch and doing some damage. Cruz dives in for a double leg and gets it. He is able to sit in Barao's guard raining down the occasional punch and stifling his movement.

10-9 Cruz

Round 4

Barao is jabbing and moving. This goes on for two-thirds of the round. Barao sends a flurry of blows that really rattle Cruz. Cruz pulls a right cross out of his ass and it seats Barao at the bell. That may have stole him the round.

10-9 Cruz

Round 5

Cruz hits Barao with a stiffening jab. Then a right leg kick that stutters Barao. Blam-O! A right uppercut melts Renan Barao. Cruz is really really back.

Dominick Cruz Knocks Out (Punch) Renan Barao at 1:02 of Round 5

----Main Card----

Nate Diaz vs. Diego Sanchez

Diaz is barely able to squeeze out a split decision. Some what controversial but the fight wasn't exciting enough to be all that controversial. Diaz did out strike him. Diaz is firmly inside the 155lbs title picture.

Cung Le vs. Nick Diaz

Wow...Cung Le put on a masterclass. Seriously. It was bad. Nick Diaz was knocked down five times in the fight. It included two 10-8 rounds. Cung Le was just too much for Nick Diaz. Diaz tried to take him down once and it was stuffed, but really Le just pummeled his face in a gross way for three rounds. After TKOing CB Dollaway via Leg Kicks and destroying Nick Diaz, Cung Le has become an interesting force at 185. Diaz now has four straight losses. Condit, St. Pierre, Silva, Le. Not sure what is left, if anything, for Nick Diaz.

(Cung Le called out Chris Weidman...heh)

CM Punk vs. Mike Dolce

<img src=http://i.imgur.com/R8l9vPM.jpg>

Round 1

Punk and Dolce engage in the center of the octagon. Punk is able to hit a few jabs and bounce away. This theme continues for most of the round. Dolce was able to grapple Punk but Punk wrestled out of it.

10-9 Punk

Round 2

Same as before. Punk is able to outstrike Dolce by a significant margin. Problem is that it's a slapfest and Punk's strikes have no power. Nor do Dolce's. They both might be healthier after two round than they were before the fight.

10-9 Punk

Round 3

Punk and Dolce resume the slapfest. It's riveting I promise. To be fair, the crowd likes it. Punk has managed to land a series of leg kicks in this fight that I have neglected to mention and now Dolce is limping. Punk slings a right hook that absolutely clobbers Dolce! Dolce wobbles backwards and Punk springs in. Punk leaps and attempts a guillotine. He has it but apparently not tight enough or not fully under the chin as Punk wastes thirty seconds trying to sub Dolce to no avail. Dolce is now in guard and he rains a few punches down on Punk that land. Dolce moves to transition but Punk throws his legs up looking for a triangle choke. He has it. He has it! HE HAS IT! Dolce taps out! Fight over!

CM Punk Submits (Triangle Choke) Mike Dolce at 4:44 of Round 3

Cub Swanson vs. Hatsu Hioki

Swanson tries to right the ship after his loss to Frankie Edgar. Hioki gave him a run but Swanson is a dynamic striker and Hioki had no answers in the end. 29-28 times three.

Who will Punk fight next? The local pizza delivery man? You should add in the green power ranger :p

Not sure. I might dig out a new opponent that's kind of mediocre like Salaverry and Dolce or I might give him a lower real fighter. Not actually sure yet. Booking him is getting harder. I could go for a celebrity fight like Jason David Frank (the green ranger)
