<p><strong>UFC Announces Two Cards for April; CM Punk Debut Scheduled</strong></p><p>

We know who CM Punk will face in his first octagon appearance, and the opponent was certainly not expected. The UFC, on the heels of wildly successful UFC 179, has announced two cards for April: UFC 185: Johnson vs. Dodson II and UFC on Fight Pass 5. The UFC on Fight Pass card features more of the same in terms of expected quality of fights. Mostly lesser known fighters honing their craft on the subscription based service. UFC 185 however is stacked. UFC on Fight Pass 5 continues the trend of smaller arenas, mostly in college towns and sometimes in gymnasiums. </p><p> </p><p>

The news surrounding CM Punk's opponent Ivan Salaverry has been varied and consistent. The ultimate surprise being that instead of bringing in an inexperienced fighter to match CM Punk's greenliness the opponent is an MMA veteran with 20+ years experience and his own gym. One of the true pioneers of the ground and pound style, Salaverry is a UFC veteran with a professional record of 14-9. He will be 44 at the time of his fight with Punk. Salaverry is one of the head trainers at AMC Pankration, where he helps train Flyweight champion and UFC 185 headliner Demetrious Johnson.</p><p> </p><p>

Salaverry, who came out of retirement in 2011, has fought a handful of times since then and has signed a one fight deal with the UFC, specifically for the CM Punk bout. The announcement comes only one month after signing of Punk and some have voiced concerns that CM Punk may not be ready to enter the octagon at this point. Interviews with both fighters are below:</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img src=http://www.mmawiz.com/images/792?thumbnail=medium></p><p>

<em><strong>Ivan, why come back and why come back for this fight?</strong></em></p><p>

<em>"Well, seeing Rick Franklin come back and hearing how Anderson is coming back after his leg injury I figured I've still got gas in the tank. My UFC run wasn't great, I didn't set the world on fire. I've made peace with that but I think I want to go out with one more UFC win and be remembered. I just beat a guy a year ago by unanimous decision, I still got the cardio and I still got the skills. Hell I was beating a guy in my fight before that at Light Heavyweight in a title bout before I was DQ'd."</em></p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>Why CM Punk? Why not someone like Rich Franklin?</strong></em></p><p>

<em>"Well I asked Dana specifically for this fight. Dana said he'd talk to Punk and a week later we were signing contracts. Why CM Punk? Well I knew Dana was putting together a card with DJ on it. DJs my prodigy, so to speak. I thought it'd be way too cool to be on the same card as DJ and I figured I could knock Punk's teeth down his throat. End his moonlighting in MMA before as soon as it gets started."</em></p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>Do you have anything against Punk?</strong></em></p><p>

<em>"Nah, I got no beef with the guy. Just some banter. He's a good kid but I'm sure I can beat him in the cage. I didn't just train the best 125lb fighter in the world because I don't know what I'm doing. I can beat Punk, and I want to."</em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img src=https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-tJaWgksPwSg/UuwFFdluszI/AAAAAAAAAR0/bjeGZU1y8vw/s150-c/photo.jpg></p><p>

<em><strong>How confident are you in your abilities that the fight has been scheduled this soon?</strong></em></p><p>

<em>"Confident enough obviously. Look people severely underestimate me, I think. Yeah the WWE wasn't 'real' but I got hit a lot. I took actual punches quite often. Sometimes a guy tries to pull a shot and doesn't and you eat a bare knuckle straight to your nose, that you can't wince from. It wasn't fighting, but we got beat up. I've been doing the BJJ thing for awhile. I feel good."</em></p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>What about your opponent? How do you feel about Ivan Salaverry?</strong></em></p><p>

<em>"What like as a person? Don't know him, heard good things. As far as, as an opponent goes I'm excited. I think we'll match up well. He's experienced and intelligent but was never a superstar in the cage. He's a little older, spent some time away from the game. I think we're kind of on level ground."</em></p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>There is speculation that you won't stand much of a chance against Ivan, your thoughts?</strong></em></p><p>

<em>"I think they're wrong. Look, it wouldn't matter whether or not I was matched against Jon Jones or your niece. People would be doubting me. I love it. I'm gonna prove 'em wrong."</em></p>

<p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>UFC 180: Jones vs. Cormier Results</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

<img src=http://i.imgur.com/zIlGljx.jpg></p><p>

<strong>Round 1</strong></p><p>

Rothwell and Oliynyk meet in center cage and exchange blows. They continue to hokey pokey in and out exchanging meaningless blows for another two minutes. Oliynyk leaps for a single leg and Rothwell hits mat. Oliynyk lays into him with a few close strikes that do nothing. Rothwell is battling back but doesn't get free. Round over. </p><p>

10-9 Oliynyk </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Round 2</strong></p><p>

Oliynyk, who I will now refer to as Agent Double O or just OO because **** spelling his god damn name, tries to stay at range not allowing Rothwell to contact him. Oliynyk drops Rothwell with a single leg. Rothwell pulls guard and Oliynyk again attacks with feeble strikes. Rothwell uses an ugly underhook to wrench the two of them to their feet, but they're locked in an embrace. Rothwell attempts to throw OO. OO gets sent backward, only able to pull half guard. OO is trying to pull full guard but Big Ben won't allow it. Rothwell is trying to fire off strikes but OO is hellbent on pulling full guard. Rothwell tries to hop the leg to side control but OO initiates a scramble that finds OO on top in side control. Oliynyk spends thirty seconds grasping for an armbar that isn't there. Finally he gives up and transitions to mount. OO swiftly affixes an armbar and Big Ben taps with only 6 seconds to go in Round 2. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Oleksiy Oliynyk Submits (Armbar) Ben Rothwell at 4:54 of Round 2</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img src=http://i.imgur.com/OMJMVqs.jpg></p><p>

<strong>Round 1</strong></p><p>

Well good god damn. Go home folks. Nothing to see here. Faber hits Gagnon with a massive right hook and Gagnon eats mat. Bye bye Mitch. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Faber Knocks Out (Punch) Gagnon at 0:18 in Round 1</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img src=http://i.imgur.com/bYwblWh.jpg></p><p>

<strong>Round 1</strong></p><p>

The round starts and Leites immediately seats Franklin with a double leg. Leites is content to lay on Franklin and smother him from guard. Franklin is tugging on Leites' head and hits him with a few elbows from off his back. Leites attempts to pass guard finally but Franklin is too spry and a scramble begins. Franklin drives Leites into the cage with a double leg grab. Franklin has Leites pressed against the fence and he is repeatedly driving knees into Leites' thighs. Franklin tags Thales with some bows and dirty boxing. Leites is able to throw Franklin off and brings him down with a takedown right as the bell goes. It'll count.</p><p>

10-9 Franklin</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Round 2</strong></p><p>

Leites roars in with a takedown and flattens Franklin as the round begins. Same as last time, Leites tries to pass guard but Franklin springs to his feet and plants Thales' back against the cage. Leites uses a caugh knee to turn Franklin into the cage and then bring him to the mat. Leites ends up holding a seated Franklin around the waist, pressing him into the cage. Leites is raining down punches, but most are missing or just glancing. He continues the pressure and is able to mount Franklin with 1:16 remaining. Leites is just unable to land punches from the mount though as Franklin is in constant movement, making things difficult. </p><p>

10-9 Leites</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Round 3</strong></p><p>

Stop. Tell me where you've heard this before. Takedown, scramble, Franklin has Leites against the cage. Franklin is doing damage but Yves Lavigne separates them anyway. Engaging again at center, Leites hits yet another double leg. A scramble beings when Leites tries to advance position but this time Leites ends up in front of a turtled Rich Franklin. Franklin is able to rise but Leites has Franklin around the waist and then quickly drags him to the turf. Franklin is able to wrench his way back to his feet with an underhook and hits Leites hard with some shots right at the bell. </p><p>

10-10</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Judge's Decision - 29-28/30-27/30-27 for your winner...Rich "Ace " Franklin!</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Franklin calls out Jacare Souza during the interview, says he ain't done fighting. (lol, Ronaldo Souza would destroy him)</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img src=http://i.imgur.com/y2bUMhZ.jpg></p><p>

<strong>Round 1</strong></p><p>

A bunch of exchanges result in the same pattern, Lombard hits a jab missed a head kick. Brown attempts two takedowns, both stuffed. The second results in a clinch that pins Brown against the cage for the rest of the round. </p><p>

10-9 Lombard</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Round 2</strong></p><p>

A scrappy round that sees equal exchange in the stand-up. Brown took down Lombard against the cage and pummeled him a bit with punches from side control </p><p>

10-9 Brown</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Round 3</strong></p><p>

Equal exchanges see Brown just a little faster than Lombard, but suddenly Lombard blasts Brown with a massive straight right and there is blood pouring out of Brown's nose. Brown shoots for a takedown but is stuffed. His nose may be broken. Brown shoots in after landing a few punches and brings Lombard to the mat. Brown is able to land some shots from side control but there is nothing of note. Round ends.</p><p>

10-9 Lombard (I'm guessing here)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Judges Decision - 28-29/29-28/29-28 for your winner...Hector Lombard</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img src=http://i.imgur.com/BM09ncU.jpg></p><p>

<strong>Round 1</strong></p><p>

They are out and flying. Strikes galore. The blows seem to be equal, maybe an edge to Jones. Cormier firing off a lot of weird kicks? SPINNING HEEL KICK TO THE ****ING FACE! Cormier is planted on his ass with 2:12 to go and Jones is at his side trying to finish it. Cormier survives and pulls Jones to his chest in side control. Round ends there as Jones doesn't relinquish control, Cormier doesn't allow him to move and Herb Dean doesn't stand them up.</p><p>

10-9 Jones</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Round 2</strong></p><p>

A bunch of striking exchanges for the first half round. Jones definitely getting the better of the two and hitting a load of scything leg kicks. Through the second half of the round Jones gets more creative and aggressive landing a few elbows and knees.</p><p>

10-9 Jones</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Round 3</strong></p><p>

Cormier seems tired and Jones is ramping up the punishment. A blazing 1-2 combo smangs off Cormier's jaw and he seems a little woozy. A spinning back elbow send Cormier to the turf where Jones is again raining blows. Cormier survives not taking any additional damage. He suckers Jones into side control and moves into half guard, pressing Jon's head into his chest. The round ends here. Cormier cannot get inside Jones' range at all. He's forced to fight a striking duel.</p><p>

10-8 Jones</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Round 4</strong></p><p>

Cormier dives in for a takedown BUT BOOM BITCH! Jones crushed Cormier with a front kick to the face as Cormier shot in. He's down. Jones lands a bunch of devastating blows and just had Dean steps in to stop is Cormier pulls Jon into half guard. Some struggling and small strikes from either man as Jones is content to lay on Cormier with the lead and Cormier is content to survive. </p><p>

10-9 Jones</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Round 5</strong></p><p>

Cormier eats a million leg kicks in the round but he did seems to land a number of punches. Cormier maybe did more damage. I don't know. I'll throw him a bone.</p><p>

10-9 Cormier</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Judge's Decision - 50-44/49-46/50-45 for your winner....Jon Jones</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<p>Couple questions out of curiosity:</p><p> </p><p>

What is Mitch Gagnon's chin stat?! He has never been knocked out in real life and I don't ever really remember him being rocked so just curious how he got knocked out in game so quickly.</p><p> </p><p>

and also, how has CM Punk been rated stats wise? I mean, he has never fought an MMA fight so Im assuming someone just completely made up all of his stats?</p><p>

EDIT: or was there some kind of logic behind his stats?</p>

He also has a funnily high slam stat, pro wrestling I guess, it's like 85%. So he can slam people in the clinch should he be in dominant position. His conditioning and stuff is all pretty good too. I think his potential is at like, 85%. Which is probably far too high, but he's 37 so I imagine he won't get any good before he's out anyway.</p>

Interesting. I wonder if Faber has really high punch power too?

And honestly, as much as I think its kind of lame to have CM Punk fight in the UFC I am interested to see how he does

Salaverry doesn't make much sense for Punk.

1. His jits is probably much better than Punk's

2. What if he wins? He just destroyed a popular fighter in Punk, and all you have is a 45 year old who can't go anywhere.

At least if he got destroyed by some other prospect, some of his name value could transfer to them.

Salaverry was never very good in the cage, he doesn't hit particularly hard and will look to wrestle, which is good for BJJ-based Punk. He's much older and probably less in shape than an actively training CM Punk. In his prime Salaverry wasn't good, I can only imagine at 45 he'd be worse.

There's a risk Punk will lose to anyone I put him in there with. Salaverry is probably just as dangerous as any half-assed prospect, the hope here is that Punk wins. If he does it is easy to spin it into "He beat a legend of the sport. The inventor of the 'Salaverry Top'." and if he loses "Well he lost to a legend of the sport". When in reality he's fighting a 45 year old who I don't think can beat him anyway.

I figure that at the best here, Punk gets a win over someone with a name that can help build some faux-credibility. I didn't want to sign some crappy 1-0 prospect that is worse than Punk because it'd be way too see through as to what just happened he wouldn't get any build up from the win. As far as Jason David Frank, the power ranger, he'd kill Punk. It wouldn't be close. His striking is seriously otherwordly. He's an elite taekwondo master. He'd probably place holes in Punk.

Carlos Condit Suffers Bicep Injury in Training

Carlos Condit suffered an upper bicep strain in training ahead of his UFC 182 matchup against John Howard. The former welterweight title challenger is trying to build his stock back up after nearly tasting UFC gold a few times, and one of his first roadblocks will be John Howard. Condit promises his bicep strain will not jeopardize the bout, he will heal in plenty of time for the battle with Howard in Florida. Howard is a tough striker from Boston, Massachusetts who will be able to give 'The Natural Born Killer' a run for his money should the fight stay on its feet.

UFC on Fox Sports 1: Swanson vs. Edgar

<img src=http://i.imgur.com/HhTafb3.jpg>

Round 1

Antonio Carlos Junior beats the hell out of Perosh on the feet. Despite both guys being BJJ specialists, I suppose Carlos Junior didn't want to test Perosh, instead he hit him with jabs for five minutes. A big right cross lands at the bell that put Perosh on the mat.

10-9 Carlos Junior

Round 2

Perosh uses some fancy head feints to cause two punches to miss. He ties up Carlos Junior and presses him into the fence. A few knees to his body and then Perosh takes him down. Perosh lays there with crushing top control and tries to find a guillotine as Carlos Junior has his back against the cage. There's nothing doing though and the round ends. Yawnfest.

10-9 Perosh

Round 3

Perosh fights his way into clinch range despite eating a bunch of fists. He eventually clinches and takes down Carlos Junior. He searches for an arm triangle but can't get it. Perosh gets a kimura! HE HAS IT! OH GOD! Carlos Junior's arm is bent backward at a terrible angle, how is his shoulder not broken? The bell chimes. Fight over.

10-9 Perosh

Judge's Decision - 29/28/28-29/29-28 for your winner...ANTONIO CARLOS JUNIOR (robbery)

In the post fight interview Antonio Carlos Junior thanks everyone a million times, he moves to 5-0 and gets a win on national television. It's a big deal, but you can tell her certainly didn't expect to win. Perosh waves over Jon Anik, but you can plainly see Anik had no intention of interviewing him.

Perosh thanks a few people, explains he really thought he did enough to win it and is disappointed. He says now that he's 42 years old and lost this fight he's going to retire at 14-9. He jokes he wants to leave before his loss total hits double digits.

<img src=http://i.imgur.com/Nlk85pJ.jpg>

Round 1

An interesting round just sees the two exchange strikes, Sanchez always a little quicker than Giagos. Giagos did stuff a Sanchez takedown attempt.

10-9 Sanchez

Round 2

A bunch of quick exchanges happen with an even amount of damage. Giagos blasts Sanchez with a roundhouse to the body. Sanchez has been laying on thick with the leg kicks though and Giagos is limping. BOOM! An exchange sees a powerful right cross explode on Giagos jawline. Giagos crashes to the turn and Sanchez dives into guard with a punch. The punch misses and now Giagos has him in guard. Sanchez moves right from guard to mount as Giagos has no solution but the round ends before any damage can be done.

10-9 Sanchez

Round 3

A round where Giagos can't hit Sanchez and Sanchez can't miss Giagos. Sanchez even beats him up in the muay thai clinch.

10-9 Sanchez

Judge's Decision - 30-27 times three for your winner...Diego Sanchez

<img src=http://i.imgur.com/OdE5Tik.jpg>

Round 1

Koscheck ignores the touch of gloves, and flips off Pendred before the start. Class. Bouncing in and out of exchanges, Pendred is dancing circles around Kos. Coming into this Kos is the #6 Welterweight in the world for some WMMA 4 reason. Pendred is tagging him with leg kicks and body kicks. A few jabs. Kos is landing the occasional jab but Pendred is really outtagging him. Leg kicks galore here. The round ends as BAM! SHIT! Pendred launches a right head kick that sends Josh Koscheck into orbit. Good night.

Cathal Pendred Knocks Out (Head Kick) Josh Koscheck at 4:52 of Round 1

<img src=http://i.imgur.com/1LaUsvw.jpg>

Round 1

Barnett punches Gonzaga a lot. Gonzaga clinches and immediately releases Barnett three times, mysteriously.

10-9 Barnett

Round 2

Barnett punches Gonzaga a little less but still more than Gonzaga punches him. Gonzaga clinches and immediately released Barnett twice.

10-9 Barnett

Round 3

Barnett punches Gonzaga a lot. Gonzaga is running away. A massive right hand rocks Gonzaga. Barnett decides to try and finish him with a guillotine, Gonzaga slams him and gets out of it, Barnett sweeps Gonzaga from guard though. On top of Gonzaga, Barnett is hammering away on Gabriel but the bell comes before a finish does.

10-9 Barnett

Judge's Decision - 30-27 times three for your winner...Josh Barnett

<img src=http://i.imgur.com/ixe6ROG.jpg>

Round 1

A bunch of striking exchanges. Swanson outlanded Edgar by four strikes. No power shots. That's enough for me.

10-9 Swanson

Round 2

Again a stand up duel, but Edgar seemed quicker this round.

10-9 Edgar

Round 3

Edgar definitely outstrikes Swanson in this round. Cub did stuff a takedown, but he was head hunting the whole time.

10-9 Edgar

Round 4

Swanson is slowing down, he's just not matching Frankie's volume. Bam! Frankie lands a stiff right hook and Cub stumbles back. Frankie sprints in and slaps a guillotine on pulling Swanson to the mat. They tussle with it but Swanson is able to escape it. The round ends with Swanson on top doing nothing.

10-9 Edgar

Round 5

A few exchanges do nothing. Wham! A massive right uppercut rattles Edgar's chin. Edgar dives into a clinch to buy time. He ties up Swanson and presses him into the cage. Edgar is trying to drag Swanson down but can't. Swanson turns Edgar around and then tries to trip him down, but fails. Swanson succeeds and drops Edgar to the mat. He's in guard with 1:45 to go. Swanson tried to do damage but couldn't.

10-9 Swanson

Judge's Decision - 50-45/48-47/49-46 for your winner....Frankie Edgar!

Edgar is in the ring and before the postfight interview occurs, Jose Aldo enters the cage. Dana White grabs the microphone and announces these two will meet for the Featherweight title after how dominant Edgar was in this match.

<img src=http://i.imgur.com/zAKXH01.jpg>

Round 1

The massive height and experience difference did nothing for Ebersole this round. Out-struck, punctuated by a crushing head kick that nearly sent him to the mat.

10-9 Trujillo

Round 2

An early exchange finds Trujillo tagging Ebersole with a left jab followed by right uppercut that seats him on the floor. Trujillo follows him to the dirt and sits in side control the rest of the round, wrestling for position and trying to land shots.

10-9 Trujillo

Round 3

Trujillo tags Ebersole with a double jab and...RING UP THE BAND! Sweet Chin Music! Trujillo hits those two jabs, takes a step back and launches a super side kick that connects with Brian's chin and he's out before he touches the floor.

Abel Trujillo Knocks Out (Head Kick) Brian Ebersole at 0:42 of Round 2

Round 1

Saunders stuff two Maia takedown attempts, stays at range and hits his face.

10-9 Saunders

Round 2

Maia crushes Saunders with an overhead right and then rushes in to attack. As he comes in Saunders retaliates with a vicious right cross and Maia finds the floor. Saunders follows him down to lay blows but he's still a little woozy himself and he isn't landing anything clean. Saunders is able to sit in Maia's half guard the rest of the round after avoiding a guillotine choke.

10-9 Saunders

Round 3

Saunders stuffs three takedowns in this round and Maia seemed gassed the whole time. Add some more Saunders punches to Maia's face and I'm not sure Maia even landed a strike.

10-8 Saunders

Judge's Decision - 30-27/30-26/30-26 for your winner...Ben Saunders

Round 1

A bunch of stand up exchanges, Hendo did land one massive overhand right that didn't do shit to Teixeira. He just ate it like a freaking champ.

10-9 Hendo

Round 2

Teixeira misses a left hook and Hendo responds with a bone crushing right hook. Teixeira is down and the fight is over.

Dan Henderson Knocks Out (Punch) Glover Teixeira at 1:10 of Round 2

Round 1

They go at it right away! Diaz throws 6 punches in 10 seconds and they all miss, Anderson still has speed. Diaz continues chasing Anderson and clips him with a tough left hook. Silva backpedals, resets and fires a right straight that stiffens Diaz. Silva then whips out a spinning back fist THAT CONNECTS. Diaz hits the ground and Silva follows him with a few blows but it's over. Herb Dean waves it off. Nick gets up not happy at all. Anderson kneels and bows in the center of the cage.

Anderson Silva Knocks Out (Punch) Nick Diaz at 1:30 of Round 1

Post-Fight, Anderson isn't going anywhere. Much Hespect to Nick Diaz. But Anderson says he doesn't know what the future holds, but he isn't against holding the 185 belt again. He said no to any allusions to a 205 run.

Nick thought the stoppage was "bullshit" and way too soon. He says he's disappointed and that he'd like a title shot against Chris Weidman.

Round 1

A couple of strikes land and then Werdum ties up Velasquez. A grappling battle happens in the center of the cage where Werdum tries to takedown Cain and then Cain grabs control to lose it back to Fab. Finally they break apart with half a round left. A few more exchanges and a Werdum takedown stuffed by Cain.

10-9 Velasquez

Round 2

Werdum is hitting and moving, really tagging Werdum with shots. Fabricio gets in a few clinches but each time Cain throws him off and moves away to hit more strikes. Cain is not interested in entertaining Werdum's ground plans. Wham-O! Cain connects with a right cross that sits Werdum down. Cain immediately drops down with hammerfists to try and put Werdum away but Fabricio is wriggling enough to make him miss. The round ends there

10-9 Velasquez

Round 3

Werdum is tough but he is just getting pounded by Cain's stand up. Werdum is getting in a few strikes but he just doesn't have the striking game. Oof. Werdum eats a crunching right hook and he's just not on stable ground. Yowzers! Cain throws in a left head kick that puts Werdum down. He chases him to the mat throwing bombs, but Werdum again is able to move enough that they miss and he pulls him into guard. Velasquez doesn't even bother with the ground and pound, he just smothers Werdum by placing his head on his chest and keeping the pressure up.

10-9 Velasquez

Round 4

Werdum eats several shots but he's able to clinch up. He tries many times to bring down Cain but Cain won't go. Fab is still in control of the grappling though. Oh! There it is, Fabricio takes him down to the dirt. Cain pulls half guard. Werdum is landing some modest ground and pound as he tries to find a stray limb. Werdum can't grab anything and he just starts wailing on Cain. No damage is being done, but it looks good.

10-9 Werdum

Round 5

Velasquez starts to look like he may be a bit tired but Werdum is still just getting hit in the face. Velasquez places Werdum on his ass with a short, hard right uppercut. But He doesn't do anything with it, he lets Werdum stand up. Slowly the clock ticks away. Cain will retain with ease.

10-9 Velasquez

Judge's Decision - 49-46 times three for your winner...Cain Velasquez

Oh man, Brock would kill Punk. Yet again, Brock wasn't that great of a fighter.... It'd be interesting. That'd be an ugly build up and a bloody fight for sure.

That fight would end in less then 30 seconds. Brock was not a good fighter at all but he is literally like 2.5 times bigger then Punk. Lesnar was a HUGE heavyweight and Punk is fighting at welterweight or middleweight

Costa Philippou Training with Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu

Happy with his victory over Uriah Hall but sighting a need to get greater confidence on the ground, Costa Philippou announces he will be training with Cesar Gracie Jiu Jitsu in order to improve his ground competency. Philippou does not intend for the move to be permanent and stated he very well intends on returning to Team Alpha Male, but for the next few months he will be rolling with the BJJ black belts at Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.

Also worth mentioning, Gasan Umalatov pulls out of his UFC 185 bout with a fractured ankle. He will be replaced by David Michaud.

Leslie Smith Injured; Sarah McMann Now Holly Holm's Debut Opponent

Leslie Smith was planned as Holly Holm's opponent for UFC on Fox Sports 1:Macdonald vs. Pierce. Sadly, Smith was involved in a car accident early last week and suffered a major neck injury. While the details of her accident are currently private, she is in good health and expected to have no ill effects and her injury will heal 100%. As a result, Holly Holm's debut will be pushed back to a yet to be announced card in May. But her opponent has already been revealed as Sarah McMann. The two will do battle in a classic Striker versus Wrestler matchup on the main card. So an upgrade for Holly Holm's debut.

UFC on Fox Sports 1: Le vs. Dollaway

<img src=http://i.imgur.com/SWqPbY6.jpg>

Round 1

Le and Dollaway meet in the center of the ring and exchange blows. Le is incredibly stiff, Dollaway is bouncing about. Le is beckoning Dollaway to engage. He does so and tags Le with a series of jabs and straights. Dollaway dives in at Le but Le stuffs it. Le returns fire with a left head kick as CB disengages and Dollaway is rocked. He falls backward. Le sprints over on top of him and fires away, a few land but Dollaway is able to pull him back into guard. CB clings for dear life and eventually the two are stood up. Dollaway and Le engage again and this time Le is putting on the pressure. He lands several leg kicks, one after another. They meet again and the same story, Le cracks away with more leg kicks to Dollaway's front leg. CB isn't checking them. Here they go again, Le again fires away with booming leg kicks. About a minute left, and Le has landed ten or twelve cracking blows to his front left leg. Bam, bam, bam three more in a row and the last one sends Dollaway to the mat. He can't put weight on his front foot. The round ends here.

10-9 Le

Round 2

In between rounds, Dollaway was telling his corner hit hurt to stand. His corner actually asks him if they should throw it in, he says no way. The round begins and CB is limping his way out to center. Le has slightly more pep in his step then we're accustomed. Le fires off a head kick that goes just a smidgen over his head by Dollaway almost collapses as he tried to duck it. Cung Le ramps it up and fires off a body kick, then lands a right hook. Dollaway is hurting. Le snaps off a fiery front leg kick and down goes Dollaway! Le leaps on top and tries to put him away but the round ends.

Round 3

Le is as fresh as you could possibly expect a muscle-bound poor-cardio 41 year old to be. Le comes forward and cracks a body kick against Dollaway's ribs. Le fires a right hook into Dollaway's chin that rattles him, but it may be more that he can't stand. Le rips a leg kick into Dollaway that makes Dollaway hop away on one foot, but Le runs after him. Le fires into Dollaway's shin with a front kick and Dollaway collapses in pain. He is rolling on the mat and the ref stops it before Le continues the onslaught.

Cung Le TKOs (Leg Kick) CB Dollaway in Round 3 at 2:31
