I knew that the Sting victory would come as a shock to most people. But I am hoping that it comes as a good shock to everyone. I feel like Sting deserves this title shot. I was never going to be one that was simply going to make him disappear following WM as the real-life WWE did. I am glad that you also like the teaming of Paul Heyman with The Empire. I feel like he can help them on the microphone and, as you said, it legitimizes them as being toward the top of the pecking order. Thanks a lot for the comments, Beejus!

Thanks a lot for that Warhawk8492! I am trying it best to make it a promotion that everyone can enjoy. Weekly, I watch WWE Monday Night Raw, TNA Impact Wrestling and Lucha Underground. Raw, to me, is more about the big characters and the storylines. While TNA and Lucha is more about the actual wrestling in the ring. I can fast-forward through a match on Raw, whereas I generally watch the entirety of matches on Impact and Lucha. I hope I can continue to earn your support.

[The new announce team of Michael Cole, Byron Saxton and Booker T welcome everyone to Thursday Night Smackdown this week. We are in the Don Barnett Arena in Rapid City, South Dakota. They discuss tonight's main event tag team match before they are interrupted by 'Electrifying!' The crowd rises to their feet in cheers as out from the back comes the Brahma Bull The Rock! The Rock has a more serious look on his face as he walks down to the ring and steps inside. He has a microphone and says that The Rock is going to start things off the same way The Rock always starts things. FINALLY The ROCK has come BACK to Rapid City! The Rock says that less than one week ago at WrestleMania it was three on one against The Rock. It was two pieces of monkey crap in Kevin Owens and Hideo Itami and then it was The Brahma Bull's cousin, the man who got the pin on The Rock: Roman Reigns. Roman, you and The Rock might be blood but the Rock is going to stand here and tell you one more time that you need to know your role and shut your mouth. Yeah, you pinned The Rock at WrestleMania. There's nothing that The Rock can do to change the record books. But what The Rock can do right here in Rapid City is lay some Smackdown on your candy ass! That means that if you've got any guts in that big body of yours, that you'll come walking down to this ring right now and go one on one with The Great One. 'The Truth Reigns' begins to play in the background. Is Roman Reigns going to come out here?]

[Roman Reigns does walk out from the back but he is joined by Paul Heyman, Kevin Owens and Hideo Itami. Heyman has the microphone and smiles toward the ring when he begins..'Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman and I am the advocate for the Samoan Badass Roman Reigns, the new Beast Incarnate Kevin Owens and the Japanese Sensation Hideo Itami, collectively known as The Empire. Mr. Johnson, what you have to understand is that when you called my client to come out to the ring, you actually called out the entire Empire because we are one unit. What happens to Roman Reigns, happens to Kevin Owens. What happens to Kevin Owens happens to Hideo Itami. What happens to Hideo Itami happens to Roman Reigns.' The four men continue to walk down toward the ring and begin to spread out, covering all four sides of the ring. The Rock looks at them for a moment and then gives the 'Just Bring It' sign. When he does that, 'Bombshell' begins to play and the crowd rises on their feet.]

[Here come The Dudley Boys! They move out from the crowd and leap over the barricade on the same side as Paul Heyman. Heyman raises his arms, seeing steel chairs in the hands of Bubba Ray and D-Von. They enter the ring and stand in there with The Rock! Bubba Ray hands The Rock a chair and they are prepared to do battle with The Empire! The members of The Empire move from circling the ring to joined together at the bottom of the ramp. They huddle together, as if trying to make a plan for what comes next. Then Paul Heyman lifts the microphone and smiles, telling The Rock and The Dudley Boys good night. He makes a motion and The Empire follow him toward the back. The crowd boos as they were ready for a fight. The Rock grabs the microphone and ends the segment by saying 'If you smell what The Rock is cooking!' His music plays and The Rock and The Dudley Boys stand tall inside the ring. What a way to open the show! The camera pans around the audience, finding one pro-Empire sign: 'This is Roman's show now!']

[Our very first match is one that did not have a whole lot of heat this evening as two new Divas in Ashley Lane and Talia Madison take on Alicia Fox and Naomi. The match is definitely a show-off for Lane and Madison as they dominate the match, which lasts a little more than eight minutes. Lane brings Fox down with a snap suplex into a swinging neckbreaker. Lane plays to a booing crowd briefly before she tags in Talia Madison. Madison catches Fox with a snap DDT and then plays to the crowd, listening to their boos. Fox makes a brief comeback, enough to tag in Naomi. Naomi and Lane go at it until Naomi goes for the Rear View but she gets caught by Lane. Lane brings her over with a German Suplex and a bridge for a two count. Lane remains in control and catches Naomi with the inverted Overdrive. Naomi is planted on the mat and Lane makes a cover: One, Two, Three!]

[With the match over, Ashley Lane and Talia Madison kick Alicia Fox and Naomi out of the ring. Lane gives the Beauty pageant wave before she grabs a microphone and says that in just a few weeks at Extreme Rules they are going to have a brand new Diva's champion. That Diva's champion is going to be one of the two most beautiful women in the promotion. She says that person cannot be Paige. After all, Paige is not as good at wrestling or as hot as these two beautiful women in the ring. Just like what you saw in the ring a few moments ago, that is what Paige is going to experience at Extreme Rules. However, at the end of the night, she is going to be stripped to her bra and panties. Lane says that the match that is selected is a match that has not been seen in the WWE in quite a long time. That match is an Evening Gown match. She says that she looks quite good in an Evening Gown. Therefore, she is not going to lose her glamour. But Paige is going to lose because she is not as Glamorous as Talia Madison and Ashley Lane. Lane drops the microphone and exits the ring with herself and Talia Madison.]

[From the ring, we move to the backstage area where we find the wrestler known as Bo Dallas pacing inside a locker room. He looks up toward the camera and flashes that odd smile before he thanks them for giving him this moment on Smackdown. He says that he is proud of each and every one of the Bo-Lievers here in the WWE Universe and especially in the Wyatt Family. He says that they are his family, his brothers. He says that he has come into the Wyatt Family now so that he can teach them how to Bo-Lieve! He says that The Undertaker and Kane are failures in this company. He says that The Undertaker should be retired but he is still wrestling here in the WWE and that's not okay. He says that Kane's tormented soul can be fixed if only he would Bo-Lieve! Then he promises that the Wyatt Family has a big surprise for The Undertaker and Kane this Monday night on Raw. He tells all the Bo-Lievers out there to make sure to tune in Monday Night. And remember to always Bo-Lieve! Dallas flashes another crooked smile before we cut out and head back to the ring.]

Solomon Crowe and Fandango vs. The Dudley Boys

 

[Our second match features the mismatched team of Solomon Crowe and Fandango taking on the veteran Dudley Boys, a team that has won tag team titles in every promotion in which they have ever been. The match lasts less than six minutes but does have some good action. Crowe actually scores a two count following an Exploder Suplex on D-Von Dudley. But The Dudley Boys take the advantage back when D-Von avoids a springboard lariat, bringing Crowe down with a lariat of his own. D-Von tags in Bubba Ray and Bubba strikes Crowe with a bionic elbow and then a clothesline to Fandango, knocking him off the apron. The Dudley Boys go into their double team moves, like the Double Flapjack and the Whassup. Crowe is staggering around and he gets caught by D-Von -- 3D! Crowe is planted on the mat with the 3D! Bubba Ray makes the cover: One, Two, Three!]

[Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton are shown backstage getting ready for their main event matchup later on tonight when they take on Seth Rollins and Chris Jericho. 'YES' chants can be heard in the background as Daniel Bryan approaches Randy Orton. He asks Orton if he can trust him in this tag match tonight. Orton tells Bryan that he shouldn't trust anyone. That is what's made Orton the Apex Predator of the WWE. However, Orton says that tonight the focus is not on their World title match on Raw. Tonight, the focus is bringing down The Authority, just as it was last Monday night. Bryan agrees and says that they should begin talking strategy and their plans for this match tonight. Then comes a knock at the door. In walks Mr. McMahon. McMahon gives a big smile and shakes hands with both Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton. He says it's good to see the two of them on the same page tonight. That will make things very difficult for The Authority. However, he says that he needs to speak with the World champ right now in his office and away from prying ears. Bryan says he will return as soon as he can. The two of them walk away with Orton watching their backs with an angry look on his face.]

Kevin Owens vs. Jey Uso

 

[Our next match features the man that Paul Heyman earlier called the new Beast Incarnate Kevin Owens. He takes on a member of The Usos in Jey Uso. Owens goes right after Uso at the beginning of the match, crushing him in the corner with a corner splash. Owens definitely shows his strength and power with a punch and kick offense starting things off against Uso. He sends Uso out of the ring and joins him, running him head-first into the barricade. Then he grabs him in a bear hug, running him back-first into the ring apron. The match returns to the ring with Jey Uso looking for a tag but this is a one on one match. Owens catches Uso with a body slam and then a somersault legdrop that gets him a two count. The crowd gets behind Uso, trying to will him back in this match. Owens moves Uso to a corner and then charges -- Cannonball! A sign goes up in the crowd, reading: 'Fight Owens Fight!' Uso does get a brief advantage when he gets out of a pop-up powerbomb attempt. He sends Owens outside the ring and catches him with a leaping dive outside! The action returns to the ring and Jey Uso goes for the Superfly Splash but Owens rolls out of the way. Owens is quick to send Uso to the ropes -- Pop-Up Powerbomb! Owens makes the cover: One, Two, Three!]

[From the ring, we move to the backstage office area of The Authority. Seth Rollins and Chris Jericho look into the camera and begin talking about their upcoming tag team match tonight against Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton. Rollins mentions that Bryan and Orton are not on the same page, unlike these two members of The Authority. After all, they are on the same page and that is The Architect's blueprints. Rollins says that when he joined The Authority he bought in to the evolution of Seth Rollins. He bought in to victory after victory. Chris Jericho says that he didn't come back and join The Authority to lose. He says that Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton are going to learn that he is the best in the world at what he does. He says he is training the future in Seth Rollins, a future WWE World Heavyweight champion. He says that tonight they are going to experience the Y2J problem and losing is something that will never EEEEEEEEEEEEver happen again! Rollins and Jericho turn to discuss strategy as we fade out to a major announcement concerning Extreme Rules.]

Rusev vs. Ryback

 

[Our semi main event features two absolute bruisers in Rusev and Ryback. Rusev still has yet to be pinned or forced to submit here in the WWE but Ryback is looking to end that streak. The opening minute of the bout is spent with both men slugging it out in the center of the ring to see who might go down first. The Big Guy gets in several punches in a row and then shows his strength when he lifts Rusev in a press slam, bringing him down hard on the mat. Ryback plays to the crowd before picking up Rusev and sending him to the ropes -- Rusev grabs the ropes and quickly exits the ring to rethink his strategy. Rusev paces outside the ring as Ryback gets the 'Feed Me More' chants going loud here in South Dakota! Back inside the ring, the action goes back and forth between these two men until Rusev catches Ryback with a low blow while Lana distracts the official. The crowd boos but Rusev has control. Rusev focuses in on the back of Ryback, including a bear hug transitioned into a spinebuster. He sends Ryback into the corner and then lifts him up on the top turnbuckle. Rusev climbs up and brings Ryback to the mat with a belly-to-belly superplex! Rusev roars to the crowd and the boos echo into this arena. The USA chants grow loud in this audience, firing up The Big Guy. Rusev goes for The Accolade but it's blocked by Ryback! Ryback begins powering out and he takes control. The Big Guy fires to Rusev and then catches him with a delayed vertical suplex! Ryback moves into a corner and begins rolling his shoulders, the set up for the Meat Hook Clothesline! He waits for Rusev to get up and then charges -- Spinebuster by Rusev! What a counter! Rusev quickly moves to lock on The Accolade but an explosion moves through the crowd as 'Invasion' begins to play. It's Goldberg! Goldberg runs down and charges into the ring! Goldberg takes down Rusev with a clothesline, causing the DQ!]

[The match ends in a DQ but this doesn't stop Goldberg. Da Man mounts Rusev and begins throwing punches to The Bulgarian Brute! The crowd begins a loud 'Goldberg' chant! The place is going nuts! A referee steps in to pull Goldberg back and this gives Rusev an opening to quickly slide out of the ring. He stands beside Lana outside the ring, backing up the ramp. Goldberg asks for and is given a microphone. He tells Rusev that there will be no running at Extreme Rules. He says that he has been informed that they will be fighting at Extreme Rules one on one. So when people ask him who's next? He's got his answer. Rusev, YOU'RE NEXT! Goldberg drops the microphone and the Goldberg chants are loud in the arena. Goldberg drops out of the ring as Rusev disappears to the back. Goldberg high fives some fans in the front row as we move to a backstage segment.]

[This backstage segment shows the WWE Intercontinental champion Dean Ambrose looking toward the camera. Ambrose says that Bad News Barrett made a big mistake last Monday night in waking up The Lunatic Fringe. Ambrose says that maybe he got a little soft. After all, he didn't live up to his words before. He didn't prevent Seth Rollins from cashing in his Money In The Bank contract. But this is not about that little weasel. This is about Bad News Barrett ruining his picture opportunity. He says that when he was a member of The Shield, they lived to create justice in the world of World Wrestling Entertainment. He says that he is going to create justice if Bad News Barrett is crazy enough to step in the ring with him this Monday night on Raw. He says that Barrett has the opportunity to get beaten or to stay away from what he loves. It is going to be one or the other because the next time he sees Bad News Barrett, someone is leaving on a stretcher. Ambrose turns and walks off as we head back to the ring.]

[it is main event time here on Thursday Night Smackdown this week and what a main event we have for all of you members of the WWE Universe! The match quickly breaks down in the first few minutes, having both members of each team in the ring doing battle. Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan take control, sending Seth Rollins out of the ring and focusing their attention on Chris Jericho. They catch Jericho with a double back elbow and then Orton grabs Bryan and body slams him on top of Jericho! Bryan makes a cover and scores a two count. Orton moves back to the apron as Bryan maintains control in the early going. Bryan hooks Jericho in a guillotine choke early on but Jericho refuses to submit, getting to the ropes. As Bryan breaks the hold, Jericho, flips the momentum, sending Bryan out of the ring to the floor at ringside. Jericho tags in Rollins. Rollins moves along the apron and catches Bryan with a running, leaping high knee, crashing into the WWE World Heavyweight champion! Rollins sends Bryan into the barricade and then returns the action inside the ring where quick tags are made in and out by The Authority. Rollins catches Bryan with a bear hug but Bryan is reaching over the shoulder of Rollins, trying to tag in Randy Orton. Bryan pushes them closer and closer to the corner. As it looks like they might get there, Chris Jericho enters the ring to distract the official. With the official distracted, Bryan tags in Randy Orton. Orton floors Rollins with a punch and then the referee comes in, shoving Orton back into the corner because he didn't see the tag! A double choke by Rollins and Jericho keeps Bryan down in their corner. Jericho tags himself in and body slams Bryan to the mat -- Lionsault! Jericho makes the cover:]

[The crowd cheers when the WWE World Heavyweight Champion gets that foot on the bottom rope to break up the pinfall. Chris Jericho looks frustrated and continues the assault on Daniel Bryan. He tags in Seth Rollins and Rollins catches Bryan with a kick to the ribs. He lifts Bryan up and charges the turnbuckle -- Buckle Bomb -- Superkick! What a combination by Seth Rollins! Rollins makes the cover but the count is broken up at two by The Viper. Rollins pulls up Bryan and catches him with a standing enzuigiri and then hooks him -- Reverse STO into the turnbuckle! Bryan is down and hurt. Rollins makes the cover: One, Two, Kickout! The crowd cheers when Bryan kicks out at two! Rollins yells at the official for a moment, giving Bryan time to get on his knees. Rollins sees this and bounces off the ropes -- Curb Sto -- NO! Bryan avoids the Curb Stomp and catches Rollins with a series of kicks to the body that ends with a kick to the head. Both men go down, trying to crawl toward their corners and tag in their partners. Seth Rollins tags in Chris Jericho and Daniel Bryan tags in Randy Orton! The crowd goes wild as Orton catches Jericho with the Lou Thesz Press, throwing punches to Y2J! He pulls up Jericho and lands the inverted headlock backbreaker. In comes Seth Rollins but he is caught with the 360 snap powerslam! Orton grabs Jericho and turns him around, getting his feet on the middle rope -- Rope Hung DDT! Orton looks around and seems to be going to that place where he hears voices in his head! A sign goes up in the background, reading: 'Cry2J!' Randy Orton drops down and begins to pound the mat but Daniel Bryan tags himself in! Orton and Bryan exchange an angry look as Bryan moves to a neutral corner, beginning the YES chants. Jericho slowly gets to his feet -- Running Single Leg High Knee! Bryan makes the cover:]

[Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton win this match but the two of them will still be going one on one this Monday night on Raw for the WWE World Heavyweight title! Seth Rollins strikes Daniel Bryan from behind -- RKO to Seth Rollins! Orton drops Rollins and he rolls out of the ring with Chris Jericho, The Authority exiting the ring. Inside the ring, Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton celebrate their victory. Orton climbs up to the second turnbuckle and poses to cheers from the crowd. Bryan gets the crowd going with the YES chants! the WWE World Heavyweight title belt is slid inside the ring and then grabbed by Randy Orton. Orton stares down at the belt for several long seconds, meeting Daniel Bryan in the center of the ring. Orton finally hands the belt over to the champion and then raises his arm. The two have a staredown for a long moment before Daniel Bryan turns away and raises the belt to cheers from the crowd. Bryan turns back toward Orton -- RKO! Orton drops Daniel Bryan with the RKO! Bryan is left out on the mat. Randy Orton grabs the WWE World Heavyweight title belt, raising it up high to a mixture of boos and cheers from this crowd. The credits begin to roll as Randy Orton celebrates inside the ring. A final sign is shown in the background: 'Team RK-NO!' We'll see you this Monday night from St. Louis!]

-WWE Monday Night Raw is coming to you live from the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri. This is the hometown of the challenger to the WWE World Heavyweight title Randy Orton. Tonight he steps in the ring to go one on one with the champion Daniel Bryan. This will be the second time Bryan steps in the ring to defend his title since he won the belt at WrestleMania just eight days ago. -Last week John Cena began the WWE United States Title Open Challenge. He defeated Finn Balor, who accepted the open challenge. This week, who is going to step up to take on the former fifteen time World champion? -Speaking of title defenses, Dean Ambrose steps in the ring in a defense of the WWE Intercontinental title that he won eight days ago at WrestleMania. This week the Lunatic Fringe is going to step in the ring with former World Champion The Miz. The Miz has guaranteed to us that he is going to leave Missouri with the belt. Can he defeat The Lunatic Fringe? What role will the man who attacked Ambrose last week, Bad News Barrett, play?

 

-A Diva's tag team match is set up for this evening on Monday Night Raw. We will see the WWE Diva's Champion Paige teaming up with AJ Lee against a team known as the Beautiful Women. This team features Ashley Lane and Talia Madison. Paige will be defending the Diva's title against Ashley Lane at Extreme Rules in the return of the Evening Gown match.
