Thoughts of Previous Show: Good to see Dalton on the pre-show. I think the Trilogy is such an interesting stable, with Aries the only really good talker in the group. But when Low Ki speaks, I listen!

Commentary Team: Kevin Kelly & Steve Corino

Kevin Kelly: Hello there, ladies and gentlemen, we are in front of a sold-out Californian crowd for tonight's edition of Ring of Honor Wrestling!

Steve Corino: I hope everyone's October is going spectacular! I am Steve Corino, alongside Kevin Kelly, as always.

Kelly: Tonight is going to be a great show, and I'm sure things will heat up, as we continue down the road to Glory By Honor!

Corino: Austin Aries takes on Chris Sabin in our main event, but we will also see plenty or tag team action! The Briscoes against Lethal & Alexander of the House of Truth, as well as two matches for title contention: ANX against War Machine, and Kingdom against the Bucks! Ah, I can't wait, Kev!

Kelly: Regardless of my broadcast partner's patience, we'll also see Adam Cole in action against Caprice Coleman. All of these matches, as well as just the presence of our Ring of Honor stars, should be enough for you to stick around!

Corino: A greats how in store, and we're kicking it off with the Ring of Honor World Champion!

http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/VinceKage/ROH%20Dynasty/Jay%20Lethal_alt4_zpsnntqen72.jpg

Jay Lethal makes his way down to the ring in a suit, the ROH World title over his shoulder. He climbs in with a microphone.

Jay Lethal: I'll cut right to the chase. Mister Briscoe! I know you're ready for a fight tonight, but tonight you're only going to get a little taste of the pain I'll show you at Glory By Honor!

Jay, I'm not afraid of you. You want everyone to be afraid of you, but I am not. I wasn't afraid of facing you for this luxurious prize on my shoulder, I wasn't afraid to face the "unbeatable" Jay Briscoe! I went into our match-up, one of the biggest matches in Ring of Honor history, without fear. I came out with the biggest prize a wrestler could hope to hold here in Ring of Honor. When Glory By Honor rolls around, Jay, I'll remain fearless. I will remain still as you attempt to inflict fear in me. And I'll beat you again. I'll be more fearless than ever before, you'll feel more pain than you've ever felt before, and I'll be----

Jay is interrupted by a sound he is all too familiar with.

REACH FOR THE SKY, BOY!

http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/VinceKage/ROH%20Dynasty/Jay%20Briscoe_alt3_zpsophfrwki.jpg

Jay Briscoe heads down to the ring, with a chorus of "Man Up" following him, to meet his nemesis with a microphone.

Jay Briscoe: Big talk from such a li'l man. You been goin' 'round pretendin' you own the place e'er since you took that gold. But, lemme tell you somethin', BOY! I been 'round here for a loooonnnngggg time. I seen cocky pricks like you, a dime a dozen.

Jay Lethal: Don't talk down to your World Champion, Jay.

Jay Briscoe: You ain't nothin' to me but the next guy I'm gonna beat.

Briscoe is met with a ruckus of "Man Up!" chants.

Briscoe: An' as soon as I'm done gettin' my gold back from ya, you gonn' be nothin' but another cocky prick that come and gone. An' that's sum'thin' to be scared of, boy.

Jay Lethal seems offended by this last line, and he drops his microphone to get in Briscoe's face. Briscoe drops his mic as well and the two have an intense staredown, that culminates with Lethal backing up and raising his ROH World title high. He rolls out of the ring, still getting an intense staredown from his Glory By Honor opponent.

All Night Express vs. War Machine

The first televised contest was interesting, as ANX made their surprise return to beat War Machine just last week. Now, War Machine are looking for revenge, and will be rewarded with a tag team title shot if they get it. The arrogance of Kenny King was a sight to see here, and it cost him multiple opportunities as the match rolled on. War Machine double team King near the end of this one, with Hanson tossing King backward with a Suplex onto Ray Rowe's knees! They then focus their attention on legal partner Rhett Titus, now allowing themselves to isolate him, and land the Fallout! Just before they can cover Titus, however, two sneaky NJPW stars slide into the ring.

http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/VinceKage/ROH%20Dynasty/Trent%20Barreta_alt_zpsqhfjfasv.jpghttp://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/VinceKage/ROH%20Dynasty/Rocky%20Romero_alt4_zpsvtw2gbzi.jpg

Berreta and Rocky Romero tempt War Machine to get up and face them, as referee Brian Gorie attempts to remove them from the ring. Hanson and Rowe insist Gorie relax, and attempt simultaneous clotheslines on RPG Vice. Instead, the two CHAOS members duck the clotheslines and roll out of the ring. In the background, Rhett Titus managed to tag in Kenny King, whose arrogance provided him the ability to roll-up Ray Rowe, and get the one, two, three whilst Hanson had been climbing out to chase RPG Vice. ANX steal the win! War Machine are not happy!

All Night Express def. War Machine in 7:59 when Kenny King pinned Raymond Rowe with a roll-up after interference from Roppongi Vice on War Machine.

ROH World Tag Team Champion "Almighty" Christopher Daniels vs. Kyle O'Reilly

This singles match was a very good one, and it was interesting to see The Addiction's Daniels take on reDRagon's O'Reilly, as reDRagon have been missing their belts for quite some time now. At Glory By Honor, they'll get another chance to regain them, but two other teams will be clawing at the champs as well. Here, O'Reilly did everything he could to combat the very impressive veteran Daniels. Daniels had O'Reilly scouted on nearly every outing, but for some reason, couldn't manage to escape O'Reilly's deadly Armbar in the end. O'Reilly makes the champ submit!

Kyle O'Reilly def. Christopher Daniels in 7:44 by submission with an Ankle Lock.

The Briscoe Brothers vs. House of Truth (Lethal & Alexander) w/Truth Martini

At last, the tensions from earlier tonight were showcased! Mark Briscoe joins his brother Jay in his war against the House of Truth, by taking on the ROH World Champ and his rising star protege, Cedric Alexander. Lethal and Alexander showcased a surprising amount of teamwork as they took on the very tenured team of Jay and Mark Briscoe. The first showdown of the match-up between Lethal and Jay Briscoe was unreal, which is why Cedric went ahead and cut the tension with a neckbreaker to Briscoe. House of Truth managed to isolate Mark Briscoe in the middle of the match to enrage Jay, but the hot tag proved that this was not worth it. After Jay Briscoe goes off on both Lethal and Alexander, Alexander attempts to recover his team's momentum by raking the eyes of Jay Briscoe. He then attempts to land the Kick to Kill, but is surprised instead when his foe's music hits.

http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/VinceKage/ROH%20Dynasty/ACH_alt3_zpstdfhsayg.jpg

ACH appears on the ramp, holding his ROH World Television title high. This manages to piss off not only his next challenger, Cedric Alexander, but also the former champion Jay Lethal, and both of these men's guise, Truth Martini. Lethal eats a dropkick from Jay to fall off the apron, and Alexander falls victim to the Jay Driller. One. Two. Three.

The Briscoe Brothers def. House of Truth in 9:50 when Jay Briscoe pinned Cedric Alexander with the Jay Driller after a distraction from ACH.

Adam Cole w/Scarlett Bordeaux vs. Caprice Coleman

This match was all about Adam Cole, BAYBAY! He and Scarlett were at ringside in each others' faces like only they could be, causing Caprice to get things started with a dive to the outside. Cole didn't like Caprice putting his lady in harm's way, so he spent the next six or so minutes punishing Caprice Coleman. Gorgeous Scarlett Bordeaux was very pleased to see things end with the Panama Sunrise.

Adam Cole def. Caprice Coleman in 6:33 by pinfall with the Panama Sunrise.

Before our Pre-Main event, Matt Taven and Michael Bennett are on screen together for the first time in a few weeks, and they are hyped up about their match up next with the Young Bucks. They run the Bucks down, saying that the Kingdom are better in Japan, and the not-so Young Bucks aren't good anywhere. Fun stuff.

The Young Bucks vs. The Kingdom

The winners of this exciting tag team bout will join The Addiction, reDRagon, and All Night Express in a World Tag Team title match at Glory By Honor. The crowd definitely want that team to be the Young Bucks, who do their fans justice by running train on Matt Taven and Michael Bennett in the early goings. Things shifted away from a one-sided affair, and we watch a very good tag team match, that could've gone either way, had it not been for:

http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/VinceKage/ROH%20Dynasty/Donovan%20Dijak_alt2_zpsvkafsdks.jpghttp://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/VinceKage/ROH%20Dynasty/J%20Diesel_zpsnkkf3vfp.jpg

An endless stream of run-ins this evening! The House of Truth's Donovan Dijak and Joey "Diesel" Daddeigo showed up near the end of the match, looking to upset one particular and popular tag team. They were able to get involved here after Taven ducked a double Superkick, and referee Justin King received his ticket to the Superkick Party instead. Chaos ensued as the big House of Truth members slide into the ring and clobber Matt and Nick Jackson with clotheslines. They stomp away at the Bucks to a loud chorus of boos. Donovan Dijak lands Feast Your Eyes on Nick Jackson, but it appears Taven and Bennett have seen enough, as they land simultaneous Superkicks on the House of Truth powerhouses. Bennett rolls Matt Jackson out onto the apron, and then helps Justin King come to. Meanwhile, Matt Taven picks up a seemingly lifeless Nick Jackson and lands the Climax in order to feel like he did something. He gets the pin, thanks in part to Dijak and Daddiego!

The Kingdom def. The Young Bucks in 14:38 when Matt Taven pinned Nick Jackson after the Climax and House of Truth interference.

Austin Aries was backstage, and made it very clear that the Trilogy would not be showing up to help him tonight. He said that it is important for him to constantly establish himself as singles unit, and he knows that his Trilogy brethren feel the same way. He's taking on Chris Sabin in our main event, next!

Chris Sabin vs. "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived" Austin Aries

A good main event showcasing Love Gun's Chris Sabin and The Trilogy's Austin Aries. Both of these men are great in the ring, but it appeared they had a lack of psychology against each other tonight. Nevertheless, this match was better than the entire show leading up to it, and the story was built very well. While Sabin and Sydal were able to get a win over the Trilogy a couple weeks ago, it would not be easy for Sabin to defeat a very high-momentum Austin Aries here tonight.

Aries kicked out of the Cradle Shock early on in the match, causing Sabin to sweat. He then landed a long string of moves, and yelled out "I refuse to end this match!" as a way to excuse himself from going for the pin. He continued the assault on Sabin, but Sabin is no slouch. He fought back and got things going back-and-forth in a great exchange.

Quite awhile later, at about the eighteen minute mark, Chris Sabin attempts the Cradle Shock once more, but Aries counters and hooks him up, BRAINBUSTER!

PRO WRESTLING GUERRILLA JOINS THE CRAZE!

Coming Soon to this diary!

See the first two posts of this thread for information on Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, a company that will now join in on this diary. Their shows will be held far less often, as PWG is much smaller, but I can let you know now that ROH and PWG will have a working agreement, and ROH will be assisting in PWG's rise in size. I'm very excited for this announcement, and I hope you guys are too! This is in honor of "Pro Wrestling Guerrilla: Your Favorite Wrestling Company!" which has just come to a close, so check that thread out if you haven't already:

http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=532189

Thanks guys, I can't wait to continue the journey in this diary! :D

YES!!! This is a good decision (great decision) I was hoping you'd do this, and might have even said it to you once before :D In real life, I think I read somewhere that PWG and ROH have an agreement now allowing ROH stars to work PWG dates??

Thoughts of Previous Show: Nice to see you get aggressive on the written contract front. Hopefully you don't fall back down to regional!

Hey man, thanks! I honestly think it doesn't matter if we fall back to Regional because I have pretty much the main stars under written contracts for years. :D I win. :p

Thoughts of Previous Show: Rising nicely and a bold move with so many written contracts already.

Hell yeah, but I don't think its too bold. I'm basically saying eff WWE, stay away from my talent! And letting my guys know I don't want them to leave. :p

OMG YOU FINALLY TOOK MY ADVICE! This is so awesome! I mean, it sucks for your PWG diary but then again we get two diaries for the price of one (thread)!

I can't wait to see how you play this off!

Thanks man, me too! It was good advice, I couldn't keep ignoring it! :)

Just wanted to say its good to see you here! :D

YES!!! This is a good decision (great decision) I was hoping you'd do this, and might have even said it to you once before :D In real life, I think I read somewhere that PWG and ROH have an agreement now allowing ROH stars to work PWG dates??

http://rohwrestling.com/news/ring-honor-enters-agreement-pro-wrestling-guerrilla

This is essentially what we did. It has merit, and its smart. Especially now that I'm playing as both, because I can protect some of these dudes and make them only mine, whilst doing what ROH does in real life, and letting them go to their friends in PWG (which is fun because I can select who comes over whenever) and NJPW. Its a win/win for me, and I'm hoping I can use ROH talent in PWG to raise PWG in size, and end up doing what PWG won't do in real life. Leave California and give the rest of the world a chance to see the amazing wrestling that lives in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla.

With all of that said, the show will be up soon, and then a preview for the first PWG show in this diary! :D You should all be very excited.

"Mr. ROH" Roderick Strong vs. "The Last Real Man" Silas Young

This one was a pretty good match, and it was nice to see the anger of Silas Young taking on the upbeat Roderick Strong. Silas had control for a good portion of the match, but at the end, Strong went off. He tossed Young to each corner of the ring to hit a knee strike, then landed the End of Heartache, which bounced Young back to his feet in time for a Sick Kick! One, two, three!

Roderick Strong def. Silas Young in 7:55 by submission with a Strong Hold.

BJ Whitmer vs. Ray Rosas

A pretty quick match, nothing special. Rosas got in some offense, but it was clear that Whitmer was just toying with the young PWG upstart. Whitmer kept picking Rosas' shoulder up out of his own pins, which really came back to bite him. Ray Rosas found an opportunity to land the Adios Amigo (Shining Wizard) and went for the School Boy on BJ Whitmer. One, two, three! ROSAS HAS UPSET WHITMER HERE!

BJ Whitmer kicks out just after three and cannot believe what just happened. He beats Rosas down after the match, not letting up now. He then grabs a microphone and lets Rosas know that he wants revenge. Sounds like we'll get The Decade vs. PPrAy at Glory By Honor.

Ray Rosas def. BJ Whitmer in 5:51 by pinfall with an Adios Amigo.

Rocky Romero vs. Raymond Rowe

This was a good one, hyping up the little feud between Roppongi Vice and War Machine, that looks to culminate at Glory By Honor. War Machine's Raymond Rowe was caught off guard by the ability of Rocky Romero in this one. Romero really came to play, and looked to seal the deal with the Foreign Devil! Instead, Ray Rowe escaped the attempted and landed Death Rowe! One, two, three!

Raymond Rowe def. Rocky Romero in 6:35 by pinfall with a Death Rowe.

Frankie Kazarian vs. Bobby Fish vs. Kenny King vs. Michael Bennett

This four way was insanity! You'd think it'd have ended sooner, but everyone made sure to break up each others' pins and submission attempts. A great spot came when Kenny King jumped out of the ring to take down all three opponents! After the eleven minute mark, we see Bobby Fish holding Kenny King in a standing armbar. Mike Bennett slides back into the ring and lands a Superkick to knock Fish down. King runs at him and hits the Royal Flush. He goes in for the cover, but Kazarian breaks it up and then tosses Kenny King out of the ring. He turns to a recovering Bobby Fish, Wave of the Future!

We see Jay Briscoe backstage, and he looks at the camera to begin cutting a promo on his Glory By Honor XIV opponent, Jay Lethal. He runs down Lethal and Truth Martini, vowing to regain his World title at GBH. He says to show Lethal what's up, he's gonn' beat him down in that ring tonight. Soft'n'em up.

The House of Truth (Lethal, Alexander, Dijak, Daddeigo) w/Truth Martini & Taeler Hendrix vs. Jay Briscoe, ACH & the Young Bucks

This match was pretty quick, as nobody wanted to let up on their opponents for Glory By Honor. A superkick party started off the match, but he faceoff between Briscoe and Lethal was saved for the very end of the match. Briscoe got the advantage and went for the Jay Driller, but Cedric Alexander came in to stop the move before it happened. He then got back on the ropes, grabbed a tag from Lethal, and watched as Briscoe tagged in ACH. ACH took it to Alexander to show him what's up, but Alexander tagged out to Dijak, who tossed ACH around, landing the Feast Your Eyes. He tags back out to Lethal, who hops right up top and stares down Jay Briscoe as he comes down with the Hail to the King on the World TV Champion. One, two, three. The House of Truth are a solid unit here tonight.

"The Greatest Man That Ever Lived" Austin Aries vs. Alex Shelley

We are treated to a great main event between Austin Aries and New Japan Pro Wrestling's Alex Shelley. These two locked-up, with Shelley getting the early advantage. The surprise of Shelley must've thrown Aries for a loop, because Shelley was able to control him in the early goings. Aries flipped out of a Sliced Bread #2 attempt, and landed a dropkick to Shelley's back to send him into the corner. This brought things back to an even fight, and the two went back and forth for quite some time. Austin Aries gained the edge with a powerful Brainbuster, but Shelley kicked out just before three.

Aries worked away at his opponent, trying to slow the pace, but after awhile Shelley out-maneuvered Aries and locked in the Border City Stretch! Aries struggled to look for the ropes, but eventually found them with his back foot. He went for the Last Chancery, but Shelley escaped the attempt and dropped him in the corner with a Powerbomb, and then landed a Superkick on the spring upward. Shelley caps the sequence off with a Running Shooting Star Press, and goes for the cover!

ONE!

TWO!

NOPE!

Aries kicks out and pulls himself up with the ropes, followed by a quick Brainbuster attempt. Shelley manages to scout it, landing a few kicks to Aries' head, and is let down. He runs off the ropes and lands a spinning back kick, followed by a jumping flip into a pin. Aries kicks out at 2, and turns the pin into a school boy! Shelley kicks out, landing a legs-pressed down pin, but Aries counters into the Last Chancery!

SHELLEY IS STRUGGLING!

HE MAKES IT TO THE ROPES!

The match rolls on for awhile, showing great back and forth action. In the end, Shelley escapes yet another Brainbuster, and looks for Sliced Bread #2 but Aries counters again! A fed-up Alex Shelley locks in the Border City Stretch again!

Alex Shelley is celebrating his victory, but Austin Aries manages to get to his feet, and clocks Shelley from behind! Before you know it, Low-Ki and Eddie Edwards have hit the ring as well!

Shelley is getting beatdown by the Trilogy, and hope looks bleak!

You can bet Love Gun aren't going to just watch their partner get beat down! Chris Sabin and Matt Sydal hit the ring, and chase off all three Trilogy members, before helping Shelley up! The Trilogy retreat up the ramp, but yell things at the group being referred to as Love Machine Guns. The show comes to a close!
