You and your crazy booking, Moot! Damn!

Iishi - Send AEP back home with nothing.

Joe - Because he can stand for a better record, unlike jobbers like AEP.

Makabe - King Kong doesn't have bad luck.

Okada - No more magic; only rain.

Shibata - The Cliz need some less JTTS members.

DBSJr - He may not win, but a strong showing will put him on a roll.

Naito - Huge momentum going here, keep it up.

Tanahashi - Sorry, Tomo.

Nakamura - Pretty much a shoe-in for the potential win of this whole thing by now.

Styles - Same as Nak.

G1 Climax 25 Night 11 Predictions

G1 Climax 25 Block B

Alberto El Patron (8) vs. Tomohiro Ishii (6)

Comments: I see Ishii taking this but El Patron should be happy with his G1 performances so I imagine this being a great match.

G1 Climax 25 Block A

Kota Ibushi (10) vs. Samoa Joe (8)

Comments: I again see Ibushi taking this since he seems like someone you're looking to build around. However, if the plan is to keep Joe around, I wouldn't be surprised to see him win.

G1 Climax 25 Block B

Togi Makabe (12) vs. Bad Luck Fale (8)

Comments: Always helps to give Fale a good showing in the G1.

G1 Climax 25 Block A

Kazuchika Okada (12) vs. Toru Yano (8)

Comments: Sorry Yano.

G1 Climax 25 Block B

Katsuyori Shibata (8) vs. Karl Anderson (6)

Comments: I love Shibata too much to vote against him.

G1 Climax 25 Block A

Hirooki Goto (12) vs. Davey Boy Smith Jr. (6)

Comments: Now Davey picked up the big win last week, I am hoping to see this result in some form of push, so maybe he picks up another big win here.

G1 Climax 25 Block B

Tetsuya Naito (13) vs. Yuji Nagata (6)

Comments: Has to.

G1 Climax 25 Block A

Hiroshi Tanahashi (14) vs. Tomoaki Honma (0)

Comments: As much as I want Honma to pick up his first win against Tana, I don't see it. I will be happy if he does though.

G1 Climax 25 Block B

Shinsuke Nakamura (15) vs. Satoshi Kojima (10)

Comments: Naka needs to assure his win.

G1 Climax 25 Block A

AJ Styles (14) vs. Naomichi Marufuji (12)

Comments: Biggest and best match of the night, for sure. I see Styles winning.

But...but...who will make money rain in the Seibu Dome?!?! :(

FINE. It'll be AJ then. But not Marufuji, otherwise MHero will burn Utica to the ground.

I'll burn Utica to the ground then somehow force Marufuji to work a life on the grimy Japanese indies. Secret Base is calling out for him.

G1 Climax 25 Block B

Alberto El Patron (8) vs. Tomohiro Ishii (6)

With little to nothing to fight for, this was a largely flat and forgettable match. Neither Ishii or El Patron were willing to exert themselves too much for the two points, surprising considering the Mexican's downward spiral after such a promising start. But Ishii wants it just that just little bit more, pressing on after a Sliding Lariat to hit a Vertical Drop Brainbuster for this fourth victory of the tournament.

G1 Climax 25 Block A

Kota Ibushi (10) vs. Samoa Joe (8)

Ibushi starts the match as though as he's already off tour, lacking a bit of urgency as Joe takes control and grounds him. Joe seems to be having it all his own way but that punishment brings the "Golden Star" to life. He rises up, getting back to a vertical base before going to work with kicks and a range of high risk maneuvers. Joe kicks out of a Standing Corkscrew Moonsault, but misses a clothesline before Ibushi hits a Pele Kick and the Phoenix Splash to finish with a win.

G1 Climax 25 Block B

Togi Makabe (12) vs. Bad Luck Fale (8)

These two heavy-hitters clashed in an old-school brawl. No strangers to each other after an extended rivalry in 2013 crossing over to 2014, they even worked in some nifty little counters. This was shaping up to be a real sleeper hit until...

http://i1354.photobucket.com/albums/q685/RynWlsn/NJPW%202015/NewRoster/kennyomega.jpg

"The Cleaner" charged down the ramp and hopped on the apron!

Makabe was momentarily distracted, giving "The Underboss" the opportunity to ambush him from behind. Fale was now in the driving seat thanks to Kenny Omega and put Makabe down for the three after the devastating Bad Luck Fall.

G1 Climax 25 Block A

Kazuchika Okada (12) vs. Toru Yano (8)

For some reason, the crowd were molten hot for this clash and could barely contain their excitement when Yano shrugged his shoulders at Okada's rainmaker pose. YTR was largely respectful of his CHAOS stablemate, at least more so than regular opponents. Even though he didn't take Okada all that seriously, he stopped short of tangling with the ref or using his trademark escapist shenanigans. Instead, the "Sublime Master Thief" tried to steal one with a sudden pin and even put the IWGP Intercontinental Champion in quite a scare when Okada barely got his shoulder up in an Inside Cradle. But "The Rainmaker" just had too much firepower in the end, sending shock waves through Yano's sake-filled system after a Heavy Rain. It wasn't too long after that that the Rainmaker Lariat connected and this one was all said and done.

G1 Climax 25 Block B

Katsuyori Shibata (8) vs. Karl Anderson (6)

Some guys just want the tournament to end already so they can move on to something a little more promising. Others are hungry to finish strong and improve their fortunes ahead of the Destruction Tour. Shibata definitely falls in the latter section and approaches this match with a pitbull mentality. He gets a good fight from the "Machine Gun", himself determined to re-establish his singles credentials. But Shibata's dogged fighting was just too much for the Bullet Club member to handle. Go To Sleep, Penalty Kick, the rest was academic.

G1 Climax 25 Block A

Hirooki Goto (12) vs. Davey Boy Smith Jr. (6)

Smith Jr. had made his impact yesterday with victory over Okada. He was seemingly a tad "hungover" tonight and didn't look nearly as threatening against Goto. That said, the Samurai-esque veteran is a better mat wrestler and fared better in that respect than "The Rainmaker". This meant that Davey Boy never really did get comfortable tonight. The match became a fight and it was one Goto was very much for. With no outside assistance at the ready, Smith Jr. was helpless to fight the Shouten Kai and was put away fairly convincingly.

G1 Climax 25 Block B

Tetsuya Naito (13) vs. Yuji Nagata (6)

As Naito was taking off his jacket and unstrapping his belt, Nagata walked up to him and gave him a forceful shove into the corner. This about set the tone for the match as the "Anti-Aging Star" sought to teach the IWGP Heavyweight Champion a lesson or two about respect. Naito wasn't about to take this beating lying down and things got a bit scary when the two men just started slapping each other in the face. As expected, Naito didn't win that exchange. It was probably a blessing because he quickly turned to what he's actually good at: wrestling. And once Naito got in his element, it was only a matter of the time before Nagata would be lying on his back looking at the lights. Naito slammed Nagata to the canvas with Gloria and then capped the night off with a Stardust Press.

G1 Climax 25 Block A

Hiroshi Tanahashi (14) vs. Tomoaki Honma (0)

A Tanahashi victory would mean that only AJ Styles winning could stop the "Once In A Century Talent" from reaching his fifth G1 Climax final. Despite suffering 19 consecutive G1 Climax defeats, Honma was fast out the blocks with forearm smashes. He was refusing to be underestimated but after a missed Kokeshi, it was apparent that Tanahashi wasn't all that worried about the challenge Honma was posing tonight. The most casual of chinlocks allowed the IWGP Tag Team Champion some room to make a comeback and he took advantage with a Scoop Slam and then clean connected with a Kokeshi! <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

But the joy was short lived, Tanahashi evaded the Crazy Elbow (Running Elbow Smash in the corner) and put Honma down a German Suplex. Tana had the counters but found it impossible to keep Honma down. The determination of the underdog told when he was able to hit a Deadlift Brainbuster on his opponent, an impressive feat given Tanahashi's short and stocky frame. As Honma scaled the turnbuckles, nobody was home for the Diving Kokeshi! <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

With Honma weary and on jelly legs, Tana slammed his head into the canvas with the Sling Blade. Now Tanahashi climbed to the top rope but Honma was standing! Tana leaped off with a High Fly Flow Crossbody but Honma rolled through, hooking the leg as Tanahashi scrambled to kick out! He did manage to raise his shoulder, but not before the pinfall had already been counted!

Unbelievable.

Tanahashi went into shock. He rolled back towards the corner and just sat there, cradling his head between his arms. Honma had his hand raised by Red Shoes Unno and couldn't hold back the tears of joy. He fell to his knees and needed to crawl to the ropes just to stand again so he could climb the second rope and raise his arms in celebration. Finally, at long last, Honmania was running wild and the ultimate crazy underdog had won a G1 Climax match!

Tanahashi stood up. The disappointment of not only losing to Honma but potentially needing results to go his way if he was to make a G1 Climax final began to set in. Honma was gratious, cutting his fevered celebrations short to offer a handshake. But a devastated Tana simply looked at the extended right hand and turned his back on it to walk away. Honma was disappointed but undeterred as he continued his celebrations. Tanahashi could be seen walking away in the distance.

G1 Climax 25 Block B

Shinsuke Nakamura (15) vs. Satoshi Kojima (10)

Nakamura and Naito had been a class apart throughout the G1. Now it was time for Nakamura to do what Naito couldn't: defeat Kojima and advance to the final. It was not an easy task. The more offence Kojima got in, the more the crowd seemed to rally behind the "King Of Strong Style" as though they felt he needed the extra assistance. The dynamic was something quite special, Kojima would put his sheer power to good use and reduce Nakamura to the shortest bursts of offence. Eventually, the tide would be turned, a Single Leg Dropkick from the second rope bought Nak the breathing space he desperately needed. But just as Nakamura was gaining momentum, a Cozy Cutter plunged the Marine Messe Fukuoka into panic and silence. Thankfully, Shinsuke had life left him in yet and managed to roll his shoulder up before the three.

Nonetheless, Kojima thought the end was nigh. He fired up the right arm and charged in for the Cozy Lariat but Nakamura ducked underneath it, charged to the ropes and caught him flush with a BOMA YE~! to the jaw! Kojima fell to the canvas like a sack of potatoes, but sat up... only to receive a second BOMA YE~! to the face as Shinsuke gratefully covered and sealed his place in the G1 Climax 25 final.

G1 Climax 25 Block A

AJ Styles (14) vs. Naomichi Marufuji (12)

The winner of this match would book a date with Nakamura for August 15th.

With it all to fight for, Marufuji adopted an aggressive approach. Instead of fancy cartwheels out of wristlocks, it was forearm smashes and well-placed kicks. Styles had brief flurries of offence but Marufuji employed evasive tactics, constantly putting Styles back on the back foot. It wasn't until around the ten minute mark that "The Phenomenal One" started finding his stride. Not looking back, Styles rattled through his arsenal. The Phenomenon DDT connected with such swift speed it was as though Styles was on a different level entirely.

The action became more back and forth. Styles put together a salvo of strikes: a couple of forearm smashes, a thigh kick, a pair of hand slaps... but Marufuji evaded the spinning back fist and connected with a Bicycle High Knee. Styles was sent sideways but answered with a Pele Kick as both competitors hit the canvas. Marufuji recovered, a lovely savate kick rocked the leader of the Bullet Club and he wisely followed up with a Shiranui (Sliced Bread)! But Marufuji could hardly believe it when Styles slipped his shoulder out comfortably before the three. Rather than staying focused, Marufuji darted to the outside and springboarded in once Styles was vertical. But we'll never know what he was going for because Styles caught him with a dropkick in mid air. AJ took full advantage, dropping Marufuji on his skull with the Bloody Sunday. Gun to the chin, time for finish him. AJ pulled Marufuji to his feet by his hair and slammed him stomach first to the canvas with the Styles Clash. Three seconds later and we found out our G1 Climax 25 final.

http://i1354.photobucket.com/albums/q685/RynWlsn/NJPW%202015/NewRoster/styles.jpg

With Styles prevailing, we had avoided the messy situation of five guys being tied on 14 points. The G1 Climax 25 final was decided: AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura!

But "The Phenomenal One" had little time to celebrate...

http://i1354.photobucket.com/albums/q685/RynWlsn/NJPW%202015/NewRoster/shinsuke.jpg

Because Nakamura came down to confront him. This was just a simple staredown, nothing special. But the fans inside the arena went absolutely bananas at the thought of this dream match. Styles broke the tension, walking past Nak as he headed to the back. There were no words exchanged, the talking will be done in the ring on Saturday 15th August!

Tanahashi was definitely walking away with this in background after losing to Overlord Honma.

I think he may have lost his air guitar now. :(
