A few years ago , back in 2015 , we had low ratings , almost no profit and fans were slowly tearing apart the product like Bill Cosby’s reputation. It wasn’t too long after that Vince went bankrupt and the WWE was basically out of business. We had like 2 weeks left on our contracts to show RAW and Smackdown on USA so Vince told us to close up shop and wished us luck in our future endeavors. He even gave us a glimmer of hope when he said that a new company he’s thinking of may need new employees. So it was December 10th , 2015 when I was packing all the stuff off my desk when Vince , Steph and Trips came barging in and told us to wait. Supposedly Vince was offered a deal to sell the WWE and still have an important role in the company. So he told us we got to keep our jobs! This wasn’t the surprising part though, the surprising part was the fact that Vince sold the company to………………………………… Disney….. What? At first we all thought he was joking and we asked who he really sold it to and he told us he wasn’t joking and then in came the new owner of the WWE. He goes by the name Alex Mavia , he had on shades and a suit. He simply shook Vince’s , Trips and Stephanie’s hands , then turned to us and told us to get to work immediately. He then said that everything we write will run through his team , who will filter out our work and turn it into something “entertaining”. Fans blew up the first time they heard about the news. Rumors started until Alex Mavia made a statement saying , not much will change and that the fans could expect to see the same faces (until they bring in new ones of course). The reaction was negative , well until the first Monday Night Raw under Disney was televised. It was the highest WWE TV Rating since the 90’s , and that night , WWE vacated every championship and had a tournament for each one. They even re-introduced the European Championship which Kevin Owens won but lost the belt the next week on Raw to Dean Ambrose. To sum it up , business has been doing extremely well and the ratings are higher than ever before. And The WWE is officially on the road to Wrestlemania 33! Up next …. Booker T:” Ohhhhh Boy! We are off to a great start already here on RAW!” Michael Cole:” In case you haven’t been keeping up , The Miz and Tyler Breeze have formed a little team , with Tyler Breeze as Miz’s “protege”. JBL:” That’s right Maggle! And remember Tyler Breeze debuted by helping Miz defeat Dolph Ziggler on RAW a couple of weeks ago!” The Miz:” *waves arms violently, and then takes off his sunglasses*. Let me cut to the chase for you mouthbreathers. *Tyler Breeze is violently taking selfies with his phone* Tyler Breeze and I haven’t gotten any opportunities even though we have constantly beaten EVERYBODY in our way. So for the first time in a long time, Breeze and I are going to give a special somebody the chance to fight me tonight. JBL:” Ohhhh, who’s it gonna be Maggle!?” The Intercontinental Champion Neville comes out to cheers with a microphone in his hand and the title on his shoulder. Booker T:” Business is about to pick up!” Neville tells Miz that he has no problem with beating him tonight , as he has been wanting to shut him up for a while. He then looks over at Breeze and tells him that he is even stupider now that he is with the Miz than he was in NXT. Breeze takes offense to this and has to be held back by Miz. Neville then tells Miz that he’s going to ruin his “perfect” face when he kicks it in after this match” VS w Neville © vs The Miz w Tyler Breeze Neville was in control for most of the match and even was close to beating the former WWE Champion multiple times. However, Tyler Breeze was a constant distraction for Neville until Neville hit a suicide dive on Breeze to take him out. From there Neville managed to reverse a Skull Crushing Finale into a superkick and head to the top rope. However, Breeze resurfaced and threw Neville off the top rope which allowed Miz to pick Neville up and hit a Skull Crushing Finale on the champion for the three count! Winner:The Miz Rating: 82 Booker T:” Dammit! Miz manages to escape with the victory!” JBL:” That’s how it should be Booker. Someone of Miz’s caliber shouldn’t be losing to a midget!” Cole:” Anyways.. up next we have Dolph Ziggler going head to head with the Bulgarian Brute , Rusev up next!” w VS Rusev w Lana vs Dolph Ziggler Great back and forth match between these two. Both Men managed to get multiple near falls on each other that had the crowd on the edge of their seat. However, Rusev gained the advantage when Ziggler tried to flirt with Lana at ringside and Rusev attacked Ziggler from behind. From there Rusev tried to hit a Samoan Drop on Ziggler but Ziggler reversed it into a Spike DDT for a 2.999 count. Once both men were back to their feet , Ziggler tried to hit a Superkick on Rusev but Rusev caught Ziggler’s foot and knocked him silly with a clothesline. Rusev then stomped on Ziggler’s back and locked in the Accolade Ryback’s theme played and the crowd went crazy. Rusev let Ziggler go and exited the ring , waiting for Ryback to emerge from the entrance stage. However, Ryback never did and the ref’s count reached a 9. Rusev realized what was happening and climbed onto the apron but Ziggler superkicked him off the apron which allowed him to win by countout! Winner: Dolph Ziggler by countout Rating:82 Once the match was over Rusev climbed back into the ring and tried to attack Ziggler but Ziggler managed to sneak under the bottom rope. Ryback then emerged from the entrance stage chuckling as he stared down a pissed off Rusev. JBL:”That DAMNED Ryback! He cost Rusev the match!” Booker T:” Well actually , Ziggler superkicked Rusev off the apron” Cole:”Exactly, so Ziggler won on his own!” JBL:”Whatever Maggle” When we came back from a commercial break , Dolph Ziggler was being interviewed by Eden. Eden:” How do you feel about winning that last match?” Ziggler:”To be honest with you… I’m not that happy. This is a match I should’ve won .. on my own. Even though I technically superkicked Rusev off the apron , if it wasn’t for Ryback I may have lost that match. Ever since I lost to Sheamus after almost winning the WWE World Heavyweight title , I’m back at the bottom of the ladder. Regardless the WWE Universe is what keeps me going and I…. Before Ziggler could finish his sentence , Wade Barrett attacked him! Barrett threw Ziggler around before finally throwing him through the set. Barrett then turned to Eden and grabbed the mic. Barrett:” Moi’ name is WADE BARRETT. Forget King Barrett or Bad News Barrett. It’s pretty damn simple. No longer will oi’ be held down by a stupid name. Finally WADE BARRETT is back , and the first person on moi’ hitlist is Dolph Ziggler. Wade then threw the mic down before kicking a life-less Ziggler one more time before leaving. When we returned the Tag Team Champions , The New Day were already in the ring as the Prime-Time Players made their entrance to cheers from the crowd. However, Xavier Woods was playing the trombone over PTP’s music ,which made the former Tag Champs very upset! w VS The New Day (Kofi and Big E) © w Xavier Woods vs The PrimeTime Players Most of the first half of the match was spent with Big E wearing down Darren Young with huge power moves and isolating him from Titus. This was until the WWE universe managed to get Darren back into the match and Young hit some forearms shots followed by a belly to belly suplex for a 2 count. Darren then tagged in Titus who ran the ropes and knocked E down with a big boot. Titus then managed to hit a Clash of the Titus , but as he went to pin Big E , Kofi distracted the ref on the apron which allowed Xavier to quickly enter the ring and smash Titus over the head with his trombone. Big E then tagged in Kofi who rolled a stunned Titus up for the win. Winner: The New Day w Xavier Woods © Rating:82 Notes:IT’s A NEW DAY , YES IT IS! After the match , NEW Day started to celebrate and the ref handed them their titles. However, Xavier pointed to a downed Darren and looked at Big E and Kofi. They then started to beat down on Darren and Titus. Darren tried to fight back desperately but the numbers game was too much and Big E lifted Young up for the Midnight Hour but Booker T:” Oh Shuggy Ducky Quack Quack! It’s Da Dudleyz!” The Dudleyz came running down to the ring to deafening cheers from the crowd. Xavier saw the Dudleyz first and quickly exited the ring. However, Kofi and Big E weren’t as lucky as Kofi got clotheslined out of the ring and Big E received a 3D from the Dudleyz!” JBL:”Why do those Damn Dudleyz stick their nose in everyone's business!?” Booker T:” Because their Dudleyz! They’ve won those Tag Titles more time than I can count, Sucka!” Nikki really couldn’t seem to get into the mix of things and it didn’t help that The Divas Champion was on commentary.However, a quick distraction from Brie allowed Nikki to roll up Becky but Charlotte placed Becky’s leg on the rope and warned the ref. HHH doesn’t look too happy and tells Kane and Show that they can retire but they will have to face an opponent individually , and if they lose those matches they will retire but if they win , then the opponent has to retire! Steph then tells us that the opponent will be announced very soon! John Cena came out to his usual mixed reception from the Connecticut crowd, however Cena was all smiles and headed to the ring with a mic in hand. Once in the ring , Cena said that he hasn't held championship gold for quite some time but particularly WWE Championship gold. Cena then said that whoever is his opponent tonight better be prepared because there is no one that is going to beat him tonight. Cena then finally said “IF YOU WANT SOME , COME GET SOME!” Cole:”Who’s it gonna be?!” Roman Reigns came down to a huge cheer from the crowd and the smile on Cena’s face was gone as he realized he was going to have to face a hungry man in Roman Reigns! VS John Cena vs Roman Reigns Winner faces Sheamus at the Royal Rumble for the WWE Championship. From the start the match was physical as Reigns and Cena tied up and Cena pushed him against the ropes but was thrown backwards into the corner by Reigns , who unloaded on The Cenation leader with shots until the ref pulled him off. Cena and Reigns then went back and forth with punches until Cena gained the upper hand and clotheslined Reigns outside the ring. The crowd was on fire as Cena kicked out but Reigns went to the corner for another Spear but Cena dodged it and Reigns went shoulder-first into the ring post. Cena then waited for Reigns to turn around and hit an AA! 1 2 NO! Cena was shocked that Reigns got the shoulder up and immediately set Reigns up for a next AA but Once again Reigns slid down Cena’s back but this time turned him around and punched Cena right in the jaw. Reigns then ran the ropes and hit the Superman Punch! Cena didn’t go down as he was stunned and Reigns ran the ropes again and hit a second Spear! 1 2 3! The crowd was on their feet as Reigns defeated Cena cleanly! Cole:” Reigns vs Sheamus at the Royal Rumble!” JBL::”NO! Reigns slowly got back to his feet and celebrated but he didn’t realize The WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus who had hopped the barricade and entered the ring right behind him. Main Show Renee Young:”Welcome to WWE Smackdown! What a night we have in store for you.” Tom Phillips:” That’s right Renee , I am hyped for tonight!” Jerry Lawler:” Me too , so let’s get right into the action!” Instead of a match kicking off Smackdown , Triple H’s theme blast through the arena which causes the crowd to go into a frenzy of boos. Triple H and Kane come out smirking and once Triple H entered the ring he grabbed a mic. HHH smiles and tells the crowd he appreciates the warm reception , which just makes the crowd boo louder. HHH says that he has a huge announcement tonight but before he can go any further , he wants John Cena to come out. Renee Young:” What does the Authority want with Cena?” Jerry Lawler:” Well Kane does want to retire so maybe something with Kane?” Cena does eventually come down to the ring , looking tired and slightly upset over his loss on Monday Night Raw to Roman Reigns. Cena enters the ring and grabs a mic, and quickly exclaims he wants nothing to do with the Authority and that Triple H better tell him what’s going on and not waste his time. HHH tells him to calm down and then says that Kane wants his last match to be against John Cena at The Royal Rumble. Cena turns to Kane and tells him he respects him and that he’s sad to see him retire but he wants to enter the Rumble match and win. HHH tells Cena that he didn’t ASK Cena if he accepted the match, BECAUSE at The Royal Rumble , Kane will face John Cena. However, there is a small catch. If Cena loses HE has to retire! *crowd cheers* and if Kane loses , then Kane has to retire. HHH then smiles and tells Cena that if he beats Kane THEN he will be granted entry into the Rumble match but if he loses his contract will be terminated immediately. HHH then tells Cena that if he beats Kane at the Rumble , he has to face Big Show at This ain’t Disneyland , where the same rules apply. Cena looks quite upset and tells HHH that THEY should fight and Cena gets in HHH’s face. However, Trips pushes Cena and Kane turns Cena around and delivers a Chokeslam! HHH then laughs and pats Kane on the back. Tom Phillips: “ That’s HUGE news! Cena v Kane at The Rumble with the loser having to retire!” Jerry Lawler:” Of Course it is , I almost can’t believe it!” Renee Young:”Mark your calenders John Cena fans , because the Royal Rumble may be Cena’s last match in the WWE!!” VS Neville © vs Curtis Axel Great opening contest between these two as this match was basically just a exhibit for Neville to show off his aerial skills. Neville hit moonsaults , enziguri’s and almost hit his Red Arrow until Axel crotched him on the top rope. Axel then climbed to the top rope and set Neville up for a superplex but Neville punched Axel until he fell from the top rope , which then allowed the IC Champion to hit a beautiful Red Arrow for the victory. Winner: Neville © Rating: 72 Notes: Axel is 36 , his career has to be ending soon. After the match , Neville grabbed his title and started to celebrate with fans until The Miz and Tyler Breeze came down to the ring with mics in hand. Neville wanted nothing to do with Miz or Breeze and was about to exit the ring until Miz told Neville to stay as he wanted to do a quick interview for MIZ TV. Neville reluctantly stayed and once Miz and Breeze entered the ring Miz asked Neville some quick fire questions. All seemed well until Miz asked Neville how he thinks it will feel when he loses the Intercontinental Championship to him, Neville replied with a punch to the face of the Miz and then tackled him to the floor. However, Breeze pulled him off and threw him into the ringpost. When Neville turned around, Breeze hit him with a Beauty Shot! Miz then picked up the Intercontinental Title and raised it in the air to boos from the audience. Renee Young:” Miz v Neville at The Rumble!?” Tom Phillips:”Well Miz did defeat Neville on RAW this week so he does deserve a title shot!” Jerry Lawler:”Don’t forget that Tyler Breeze HELPED Miz during that match!” Tom Phillips:” That’s what he’s supposed to do as Miz’s “protege”, and based on what just happened , Breeze could defeat Neville in an instant!” VS Kevin Owens vs Dolph Ziggler Owens and Ziggler fought to the death in this match as Owens brutalised Ziggler for most of the match until Ziggler fought back. The end came when Ziggler unloaded a flurry of punches on Owens until Owens kicked Ziggler in the gut and hit a Michinoku Driver for a 2 count. From there Owens toyed with Ziggler and taunted to the crowd until Ziggler hit a Superkick that knocked Owens silly, even though Ziggler only managed to get a 2 off the move. Ziggler then pulled the former European Champion to his feet but Owens kicked Ziggler in his surgically repaired knee ( tore his ACL in 2016) and threw him off the ropes - Pop Up Powerbomb! 1 2 3! Winner: Kevin Owens Rating:79 Notes: I really hate booking Ziggler to lose. Jerry Lawler:” Great match between those two but Owens is victorious!” Tom Phillips:” Oh Oh!” A furious Ambrose came down to the ring to deafening cheers and he dropped the European Title on the ramp and entered the ring. Owens rolled out the ring but Ambrose was right behind him and threw Owens over the announce table. Ambrose then dragged Owens from the announce table and hit a Dirty Deeds on the floor! VS R-Truth vs Wade Barrett Pretty one sided contest as Barrett dominated Truth most of the match with punches ,kicks and suplexes to keep him down. Barrett did make a mistake though as he mocked Truth by shouting “WASSUP” at the crowd and when he turned around he got rolled up and only managed to kick out at 2.5. Truth then kicked Barrett in the stomach and ran the ropes but when he came back , Barrett knocked him out with the BullHammer for the 3 count. Winner: Wade Barrett Rating:71 Notes: After The match , Barrett grabbed a mic and told the audience that they need to cheer HIM instead of imbeciles like Truth or Ziggler. VS w Cesaro © vs Rusev w Lana Rusev took the fight to the US Champion in this one and seemed like he was going to beat Cesaro on many occasions. However, Cesaro took the fight right back to Rusev with the fans behind him every step of the way. The end came when Rusev hit a running splash in the corner and Cesaro moved out the way and hit 5 uppercuts to Rusev! Cesaro then took Rusev’s leg from under him and locked in the Sharpshooter! Lana screamed and tried to get the ref to get Cesaro off Rusev but it was no use until THE LIGHTS WENT OFF AND when they came back on , Rusev had rolled up Cesaro and the ref counted to three! Winner: Rusev w Lana Rating: 81 Notes: Cesaro was in shock in the ring and the lights went off AGAIN But this time when they came back on The entire Wyatt Family had surrounded Cesaro! Cesaro tried to fight them off but Braun, Harper and Rowan pounced on him and mercilessly beat Cesaro down. The attack didn’t stop until a laughing Bray Wyatt shouted for them to get Cesaro to his feet and when they did , Wyatt hit a Sister Abigail on the US Champion. Wyatt then got on his knees and started singing “ I got the whole wide world in my hands!”. Jerry Lawler:” I think I’m convinced Wyatt may regain his US Championship come Royal Rumble!” Renee Young:” But remember , the Wyatts are banned from ringside!” Tom Phillips:”That gives Cesaro the advantage BUT if these attacks keep happening , Cesaro may not make it to the Rumble!” w VS w Alicia Fox © w Paige vs Charlotte w Becky Lynch Good back and forth match between Charlotte and the Divas Champion Alicia Fox, most of the crowd cheered on Charlotte while some cheered on Foxy. The end came when Charlotte locked in the Figure Eight on Alicia and Alicia was about to tap until Paige came in and attacked Charlotte! Winner: Charlotte by DQ Rating: 60 Notes: Decent. After the match , Alicia argued with Paige , telling her that she could’ve won the match had Paige not interfered but Paige said from where she was , Alicia looked like she was about to tap out. All this arguing caused Becky Lynch to sneak up behind Alicia and try to forearm her in the face but Alicia ducked it and it hit Paige! And instead of helping her friend up , Alicia rolled out the ring , grabbed her title and left to boos from the crowd. Tom Phillips:” Some dissension between Alicia and Paige!?”Renee Young:” I think that there might be some hatred between these two!” Jerry Lawler:” It doesn’t matter to me! I get to see divas and puppies!”Tom Phillips:” We’re still PG , Lawler..” Jerry Lawler:” Oh yeah….” The New Day came down to the ring with their usual happy dancing. Of course , the crowd was chanting “NEW DAY SUCKS”. New Day said that they have already beaten The Dudleyz before so they don’t understand why they returned knowing they have never beaten New Day before. They then said that the negativity of the crowd and of the Dudleyz can and will not put them down! w VS The New Day ,Kofi Kingston and Big E w Xavier Woods © vs The Lucha Dragons The match started off with Kofi and Kalisto in the ring and both men hit each other with high flying moves that was a treat for the crowd. However, after an attempted Salida del sol , Kofi trapped Kalisto in his corner and tagged out to Big E. E wore down the smaller Kalisto and almost hit a Big Ending until Kalisto was able to slide down E’s back and tag out to Sin Cara. Cara hit a crossbody to take E down and knocked Kofi off the apron and when Cara went to the top rope for his senton , Woods climbed to the apron and pushed Cara off into Big E’s arms who hit a Big Ending for the victory! Winners: The New Day © Rating: 77 Notes: Really loving the match grades New Day are getting. After the match , New Day were busy clapping away with their tag belts until The Dudleyz emerged from under the ring with a table! Tom Phillips” What the hell! Were they hiding under there all the time!?”Jerry Lawler:” I think so!” New Day tried to run but the Dudleyz caught Kofi and Big E and hit them both with 3D’s! Xavier tried to escape but Bubba grabbed him by his afro and the Dudleyz hit a 3D on Woods through the table! The crowd then cheered the Dudleyz on as they raised the tag belts in the air! Renee Young:” It’s time for the main event! Ryback v the WWE World Heavyweight Champion , Sheamus!” Tom Phillips:” This should be a GREAT Match!” VS Ryback vs Sheamus © Ryback wasn’t playing games in this match as he took control by backing Sheamus into the corner and going off on the champion. Sheamus fought back with a rake to the eyes and then a clothesline for a 2 count. Both men went back and forth until Ryback clotheslined Sheamus outside the ring and started brawling with the champion. However, Sheamus shoved Ryback backwards into the ring apron! Sheamus then dragged Ryback into the ring and set up for a Brogue Kick in the corner, but as he ran towards Ryback , Ryback reversed it into a Spinebuster! Ryback then set Sheamus up for a ShellShock but when the champion was on Ryback’s shoulders , Sheamus clawed Ryback in the eye , and then ran the ropes and hit a Brogue Kick on a blinded Ryback to pick up the win! Winner: Sheamus © Rating:80 Notes: These two supposedly have great chemistry. It didn’t take long after the match for Sheamus to start beating down on Ryback. And Ryback seemed like he was going to make a comeback until Rusev came down to the ring with Lana and joined in on the assault on Ryback. Sheamus held Ryback up while Rusev locked in the Accolade on Ryback. Ryback screamed out in pain and seemingly was about to pass out until Roman Reigns came running down to the ring to cheers from the audience. Sheamus scattered and Reigns targeted Rusev and hit Rusev with a couple punches and then a Spear! Reigns then helped Ryback to his feet before staring down Sheamus to end Smackdown! Overall Rating: 87 On the pre-show The PrimeTime Players and The Lucha Dragon def Heath Slater, Bo Dallas and Los Matadores after a Salida Del Sol from Kalisto on Fernando. Finn Balor and Hideo Itami def Adam Rose and Stardust after Hideo hit a GTS on Stardust. Main Show Raw surprisingly started off with Tyler Breeze and The Miz chatting backstage. Miz told Breeze that whether or not he beats Neville tonight , he is still extremely proud of him , because both of them are mainstream movie stars in Hollywood anyway. Miz tells Breeze that the main focus tonight is not to beat Neville but to soften him up so HE can defeat him at The Rumble. Breeze nods and tells Miz that he’ll soften up Neville for him AND beat him tonight. Miz then smiles and pats Breeze on the back , telling him he has a bright future even when he eventually breaks away from him unlike his past “protege’s” , such as Damien Sandow and Alex Riley. Breeze then says “ I am Prince Pretty after all” before Miz and Breeze take a “perfect” selfie before heading to the ring. Cole:”We didn’t even get to do a proper introduction , so welcome to Monday Night Raw!” Booker T:” What a night this should be! Up next we got The IC Champion Neville going one on one with Miz’s lap dog , Tyler Breeze!” JBL:”Don’t you call him that! I bet you Breeze could beat you in an instant!” w VS Tyler Breeze w The Miz vs Neville © Breeze took control of the match immediately by kicking Neville in the gut and backing him into the corner where he stomped him out. From there the match was dominated by Breeze who with the help of The Miz successfully wore down Neville. However, the resilient champion was able to reverse a Beauty Shot by moving out the way causing Breeze to hit Miz who fell off the apron. From there Neville hit a superkick on Breeze and then followed up with a Red Arrow for the victory. Winner: Neville © Rating: 79 Notes: Really enjoy booking Breeze. After the match , Neville grabbed his championship and started to celebrate, until an angry Miz entered the ring and cheapshotted Neville with a punch to the head. Breeze joined in on the attack shortly and Breeze apologized to Miz for accidentally hitting him, Miz quickly said he knew it was an accident and not to worry but this allowed Neville to kick Miz in the face and superkick Breeze. Neville then went to the top rope and looked to hit a Red Arrow on both Miz and Breeze but Miz rolled out the ring and dragged Breeze out by his leg. Neville then climbed down from the top rope looking disappointed by not being able to get revenge on Breeze and Miz. Cole:” That’s what happens when you try to attack Neville!” Booker T:” I still have to look twice at Neville but on the other hand The Miz is a coward!” JBL:”Shutup! Breeze was so close to beating Neville but I’m positive Miz will BEAT Neville at Royal Rumble and become a 5 time Intercontinental Champion!” Booker T:” 5 Time! 5 Time!” JBL:”Shutup Booker…” VS Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose © vs Kevin Owens and Wade Barrett Ziggler and Ambrose surprisingly worked really good together and they dominated most of the match early on as Barrett and Ambrose were the legal men. Ambrose dominated Barrett until he tried for a Dirty Deeds which was reversed by Barrett into a Winds of Change for a 2 count. Barrett then tagged in Owens who happily beat down Ambrose. Meanwhile Ziggler was trying to get Ambrose back into the match so he could tag him in. Eventually an attempted Pop Up Powerbomb which was reversed into a Dirty Deeds by Ambrose. However, Ambrose was too worn down to pin Owens and crawled over and tagged in Ziggler who came in with a house of fire. Unloading with clotheslines , a superkick and a Famouser on Owens who kicked out of all Ziggler’s offense. However, Ziggler tried to hit a Zig Zag on Owens but Owens threw him off and ran at Ziggler but only got a Superkick to the face for his troubles! Barrett managed to pull Ziggler’s leg though on the outside and when Ziggler turned around , he ran straight into a Pop Up Powerbomb from Owens. Ambrose tried to intervene but Barrett knocked him out with a BullHammer which allowed Owens to pin Ziggler for a 3 count. Winners: Kevin Owens and Wade Barrett Rating: 86 Notes: Absolutely great match! Seems like most people expected Ziggs and Ambrose to win. It wasn’t long after that Wade Barrett decided to add insult to injury and start beating down on Ziggler. Barrett was joined by Owens who joined in on beating down Ziggler. Owens got Ziggler back to his feet and looked to hit a Pop Up Powerbomb but Dean Ambrose entered the ring and tackled Owens to the mat! Ambrose unloaded with punches on Owens until Wade Barrett pulled him off but Ambrose kicked Barrett in the gut and spun him around - Superkick! Ziggler delivered a superkick to Barrett and a shocked Owens turned around into a Dirty Deeds from Ambrose! The crowd went crazy as Barrett and Owens rolled out the ring and Ambrose grabbed his title and celebrated with Ziggler. Cole:”Cheaters never win!” JBL:”Well in this case , Owens and Barrett won,Maggle…” Booker T:” Also just confirmed is Dolph Ziggler v Wade Barrett at the Rumble!” VS Kane vs Fandango Although the match went how most people would expect ( Kane dominating Fandango) ,Kane was back under his mask again and seemed more vicious than ever. Kane showed no mercy as this may be one of his last matches in the WWE forever. However,Fandango literally got in one punch on Kane that only made Kane more upset. From there the match was over in seconds as Kane chokeslammed Fandango for a 3 count. Winner: Kane Rating: 73 Notes: Don’t think I won’t retire Cena……. Kane was about to exit the ring before John Cena came running down to the ring and tackled Kane to the mat, the brawl continued to the outside as Kane started to get the upper hand. Cena tried to hit a few body punches but Kane knee’d him in the gut and threw him into the ring steps. Kane then stripped the announcing table of it’s items and got Cena to his feet. Cole:” Oh Come on! Kane don’t do it!” Kane wrapped his hand around Cena’s throat and tried to chokeslam him through the table but Cena kicked Kane in the nuts! Cena then grabbed a chair and slammed it against Kane’s back repeatedly. Kane seemed unfazed though and quickly chokeslammed a shocked Cena on the chair. Kane smirked before leaving a beaten John Cena down and out. Before the match The 3 time Tag Team Champions , The New Day came down to the ring , to observe their possible opponents at the Royal Rumble. VS The Dudleyz vs The Ascension Winners face New Day at the Royal Rumble for the Tag Team Championships. Great match between these two teams as both men wanted to face New Day at the Rumble badly. Surprisingly , The Ascension managed to control most of the match by wearing down D-Von and keeping him away from Bubba. However, D-Von sparked a comeback by unloading with a series of attacks on Konnor which included clotheslines and shoulder tackles and eventually a Spinebuster! D-von then crawled over to Bubba and tagged him in and Konnor tagged in Viktor. Bubba dodged a clothesline and hit a Bubba Bomb on Viktor. Konnor tried to intervene but D-Von knocked him off the apron and Bubba pinned Viktor for the three count! Winners ( and #1 contenders for the Tag Team Championships): The Dudleyz! Rating:88 Note: AMAZING Match! The Dudleyz made the mistake of celebrating for too long as the New Day hit the ring. Kofi knocked D-Von down with his Tag Belt and Xavier hit Bubba with his trombone to take him down. Big E then joined in on beating down D-von until Big E scooped him up and hit a Big Ending! Xavier then rolled out the ring and grabbed a steel chair from the outside and tossed it to Kofi who unloaded on Bubba with shot after shot. E then scooped Bubba up as well and hit a Big Ending! Kofi and Big E then raised their Tag Belts in the air as Xavier played his trombone! JBL:” Those are worthy Tag Champ right there! Not those Damn Dudleyz!” Booker T:” Well SUCKA , The Dudleyz WILL face the New Day at the Royal Rumble for the Tag Team Championships!” Cole:” But up next , Daniel Bryan is set to make his announcement regarding the Royal Rumble and the future of his career in the WWE!” For the first time in a long time , Daniel Bryan made his way down to the ring with much shorter hair and a bit shorter beard. The crowd exploded into YES’s as Bryan made his way down to the ring with a microphone in hand. Bryan started off by expressing how happy he is to be back in the WWE and said he was grateful to even be still considered a “main event talent”. Bryan said he hasn’t appeared inside a WWE Ring (wrestling) in about 2 years and that was for a reason. He says he came back during 2015 and won the IC Belt but had to forfeit it because of injuries. He then went on to say , he was gone so long because he doesn’t want that to happen again. Regardless Bryan says he is cleared to compete as his neck is in the best shape it can be and therefore he will compete in the 2017 Royal Rumble! Bryan then goes on to say that he WILL win the Rumble and face whoever is champion at Wrestlemania 33! Bryan then starts a massive YES chant before Cole:”Huh!?” Axel came down to the ring to boos from the crowd whom he told to shutup. Axel entered the ring and grabbed a mic. He told Bryan that no one cares if he enters the Rumble because it’s not like he would win anyway. Axel says that HE would win and go on to Wrestlemania. He then said that since Bryan says his neck is in “good” condition he would LOVE to break it once again. Axel then tells Bryan that if he is a real man , he will face Axel right now! Bryan looks around to the crowd who is chanting Yes! YES! YES!. Bryan eventually turns to Axel and nods , telling Axel he’d love to make him tap out tonight! JBL:” Oh god! That flying goat is back!” Cole:” And that Flying Goat may make his way to the main event of Wrestlemania 33!” VS Daniel Bryan vs Curtis Axel From the start of the match , the fans had Bryan’s back and the former WWE Champion flew around the ring and locked Axel in probably about 20 different holds throughout the match. For a while it seemed Bryan hadn’t slowed down one bit since his last match but Axel reversed a Diving Headbutt and moved out of the way , causing Bryan to slam his head and neck straight into the mat. Axel then picked Bryan up by the hair and started to shout in his face but Bryan pulled him down to the mat and locked in the Yes Lock! Axel tried to crawl and reach for the ropes but in the end he had no choice but to tap out! Winner: Daniel Bryan Rating:78 Notes: Finally gonna do Bryan some justice. Cole:”Well Bryan seems a good as ever!” Booker T:” I think he’s my new favorite to win the Rumble!” JBL:” Did he have to return! I hate his goat face!” ( The Divas Champ , Alicia Fox came down to the ring to “cheer” on her buddy Paige) w VS VS VS Paige w Alicia Fox vs Charlotte vs Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks Winner faces Alicia Fox for Divas Championship at Royal Rumble. Great match that mixed all 4 diva’s styles together, and Alicia Fox seemed pretty anxious to see her opponent at The Rumble. Paige seemed to dominate most of the match as she mixed it up with Sasha Banks and even locked in a PTO on the Boss but Charlotte came up from behind Paige and hit a Natural Selection on Paige! Charlotte went into the cover but Becky pulled her off! Charlotte and Becky started to argue which allowed Sasha Banks to sneak up behind Charlotte and hit her signature backbreaker! Becky tried to go on the offense and clotheslined Sasha to the ground and locked in her Dis-arm-her! Sasha seemed close to tapping until Paige pulled Becky off Sasha and hit her with a Ram-Paige! Alicia screamed at Paige to take out Charlotte who was already down and out. Paige told Alicia that everyone was down. Cole:” I think Alicia just doesn’t want to face Paige at the Rumble!” All this bickering allowed Sasha to get back to her feet and hit her backbreaker on Paige and transition into her crossface move! Paige screamed out in pain and tried to reach for the ropes but eventually had to tap out from the pain! Winner ( and #1 contender for the Divas Championship): Sasha Banks Rating: 68 Notes: JBL:” Sasha vs Alicia Fox for the Divas Title at the Rumble!” Cole:”Do you guys think Alicia screwed Paige out of her chance!” Booker T:” Maybe! But I don’t think Alicia would do that to a friend!” Back inside the ring , Paige slowly got back to her feet seemingly disappointed at her loss. Alicia climbed into the ring with her title and told Paige she should’ve paid attention. Paige said that Alicia is the one that distracted her and Alicia replied by pushing Paige to the ground before leaving the ring , leaving Paige befuddled in the ring. VS Cesaro © vs Luke Harper w The Wyatts The match was surprisingly back and forth for the most part until the Wyatts got involved and distracted Cesaro. However, the US Champion was resilient and knocked each and every Wyatt member off the apron. However, he turned around into a Discus Clothesline from Luke Harper! Harper pinned Cesaro for a close count though and not a 3. The former IC Champion then picked Cesaro up and tried to powerbomb him but Cesaro punched Harper in the dome and pushed him off the ropes which knocked Bray off the apron. This distracted Harper enough for Cesaro to roll him up from behind for a 3 count! Winner : Cesaro © Rating:79 Notes: Harper’s beard tho…. After the match The Wyatts quickly entered the ring and tried to attack Cesaro but the US Champ escaped under the bottom rope and smirked at an angry Bray and the rest of the Wyatt family. Cole:” The main event is up next, this rivalry started on Smackdown when Sheamus beat Ryback and Rusev came out and beat Ryback down.. Roman Reigns came to save the day” JBL:” Whatever Maggle , I can’t wait to see Ryback and Reigns lose tonight!” VS w Ryback and Roman Reigns vs Sheamus and Rusev w Lana Ryback and Rusev started off what would be a great main event by tying up and brawling with each other. Ryback gained the advantage though when Rusev tried for a superplex and Ryback pushed him off the top rope and splashed on Rusev for a 2 count. Ryback then set up for a Meathook Clothesline but made the mistake of doing it where Lana was , and Lana pulled his foot which allowed Rusev to attack Ryback from behind. Rusev then tagged in Sheamus and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion dominated Ryback. After a White Noise that only got a 2 count , the Celtic Warrior set up for a Brogue Kick in the corner but when he ran at Ryback he got hit with a MeatHook Clothesline! The crowd exploded and Ryback crawled his way over and tagged in Roman Reigns. However, once Sheamus got back to his feet and saw Reigns he slapped Rusev on the chest and rolled out the ring. Rusev was in shock and slowly entered the ring , but made the mistake of running at the angry Samoan who quickly put Rusev down with a destructive Spear and then pinned him for the victory! Winners: Ryback and Roman Reigns Rating:79 Notes: Loving Roman Reigns , his overness is at 98 right now. Cole:”What a match!” Booker T:” Roman Reigns seems unstoppable!” JBL:” I don’t care about Roman Reigns! At least Sheamus didn’t get hurt by Reigns!” After the match , Roman helped Ryback to his feet and they both stared down an angry Sheamus who was on the ramp , clutching his title for life as RAW ended.
