And by a few words, we mean him dancing around the fact he got the money for this from getting his car t-boned by a casino owner's limo and took a bribe to not press charges. Oh, and Lucha Bonanza is dedicated to awesome lucha fun for a post-puberty crowd and promises thrills, chills and spills enough to keep folks coming for more! So with a flourish of his poncho (and a helpful point of his finger to direct an old lady to the slots), Nacho Inferno strode to the commentary command center to help Gold-Plated call the opening contest. Rating: D SECOND SEGMENT: EXECUTION INCORPORATED PROMO! PARTICIPANTS: http://i.imgur.com/EauWvD9.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/scU1v88.jpg However, rather than the match beginning, one of the duos involved made their way to the ring with microphones in hand. Helped along by the spookiest music the public domain can provide, Execution Inc. stormed the casino to make their voices heard. Ethan Epic, the man with the slickest shades in professional wrestling (though Gold Plated would beg to differ), declared that he had come from hell on earth with the help from a man from hell on...well, hell. Turns out, Ethan had sold his soul to the devil in order for a tool that would allow him to carry his Epicness to the entire globe. Then he whips out a passport. The crowd, flabbergasted, is easy prey for Caido Mesias to roar out about the ending of all things and that world will be set ablaze with a Lucha Apocalypse! Dude's got passion, gotta give him that. RATING: E FIRST MATCH! The match is quite an interesting little affair, with the Luchadoras initially having the upperhand, Princesa practically styling on Ethan Epic in the early goings with her aerial skills while Agent Bristow's size sends the less brawny Epic scuttling back. However, the whole affair becomes a lot more dire when Epic has the good sense to tag in his partner, Caido being a beastly fighter who tosses Bristow around like a dog with a chew toy. Things briefly appear to take a turn when Pantera gets a blind tag off an irish whip to Bristow. As her partner gets leveled by a big boot from Caido, Pantera climbs the top rope as Caido has his back turned...only to get caught perfectly into a samoan drop by Caido who then tags in Epic. Epic ends the match with The Most Epic Move, a Swanton Bomb that launches him clear over Caido for the pin and the win on Pantera. WINNERS: EXECUTION INC. RATING: E SECOND MATCH PARTICIPANTS: http://i.imgur.com/TqxplFY.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/nZgTBlh.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/WIosG92.jpg Nacho stayed on commentary for our second match as Biohazard quickly made himself an enemy of the crowd by declaring his undying love for 'That Sports Team You Don't Like!' and 'ALSO THAT TV SITCOM YOU HATE!' and 'ALSO SHANE ALLMAN!' Frankly, by the time Keith Stein comes out, the crowd is dying for anyone to take Biohazard to task for his controversial views on just about everything. And take him to task he does, as Stein proceeds to throw out every stiff strike and slam in his arsenal. Only a quick declaration that 'HONOUR is overrated!' is enough to give Stein pause for Hazard to rake him across the eyes in disrespect for the concept as well as the promotion. Hazard then moves on to control the match with dirty tactics and horrible declarations that no sane man could possibly get behind. It seems all is lost when Hazard goes to the top rope with Stein dazed on the mat, but a scream of 'TORTURE DESERVES TO WIN THE OZEKI SUMMIT!' is enough to make Stein leap up in absolute rage and catch Hazard with a fisherman suplex off the top rope! A three count later and Stein is the winner...but it seems the victory is Pyrrhic at best as he stomps off to the back in a rage. Hazard, meanwhile, looks smug even in defeat, informing the ref that he's 'Worse than Dog Barkley' and our poor announcers that 'Bucky Starling and Elmer Haynes are better than you!' before he is escorted to the back by security. WINNER: KEITH STEIN (But at what cost?) RATING: E+ PENULTIMATE SEGMENT: ONI and L.E.W.D Promo! Chip is the first to speak, introducing himself and his partner as 'Luchadors Erotically Wielding Debauchery', and detailing that tonight they're going to steal a win and half the audience's girlfriends. Dale continues by running down their opponents as just 'A Salsa Stain', 'A Peewee with a tiny Flagpole', and 'A Burning Sensation' that their team is going to dance all over in a show of dominance. ONI, who the camera pans down to find sitting in meditation on the ground, finishes with a Haiku: "Blood will truly flow From broken bodies on mat Tarantino-esque." Nacho, on commentary, declares he only fears the words 'Gluten Free' and marches to the back to prepare for his team's match, leaving GP to call the final encounter alone. For the tecnicos it's in the hope they can carry on from Stein's momentum and score a decisive victory for good tonight. For the rudos it's mostly because they've lost their girlfriends to those kinds of dancers...alsoslightracism-MOVING ON! The match is an all out war from the get go when the Rudos are greeted on their entrance with a triple suicide dive from the tecnicos! From there the momentum swings harder than a steroidal batter (cricket OR baseball), as the skills of the tecnicos clash with the blatant rulebreaking of the rudos. However, the latter proves too much for El Ardor as a sneaky mist shot from ONI followed by a superkick from Chip puts him down for the pin! EL ARDOR ELIMINATED! Chip doesn't get a lot of time to celebrate, though, as Derek Grace nails him with a missile dropkick from the top rope! Another pin! Another elimination! CHIP ELIMINATED! Grace rolls to his feet- -right into a superkick from Dale! Deja Vu! DEREK GRACE ELIMINATED! Dale gets up and poses, opening him up for Nacho...is on the floor outside. Oh, nevermind them. C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER! Shaddup. Anyway, ONI, who was the reason Nacho was on the floor in the first place, grabs him by the mask and tosses the masked luchador in. Dale tries for a quick pin, but is countered by a swift kick to the head. Nacho is fast to get up, but is waylaid by ONI as he does! At this point the ref realized he hasn't exactly been enforcing tag rules (lucha or otherwise) and argues that ONI needs to get on the apron. Nacho is beaten and bludgeoned by both Rudos, desperate to get any kind of momentum as he's raked, poked, and closed-fist punched all around the ring by the two remaining ne'er-do-wells! However, Nacho manages to dodge a clothesline from Dale, coming back to attempt his own-BUT ONI SHOVES THE REF IN THE WAY! Nacho attempts to revive the ref, but is caught by Dale in a Full Nelson, leaving him open to a mist attack from ONI- ... -Unless, of course, he kicks ONI in the belly, forcing him to expectorate the mist at the ground! Dale is surprised by this turn of events and it allows Nacho to duck low and bring him up for a GORDITA CRUNCH to eliminate him courtesy of the revived ref! DALE ELIMINATED! And then there were two...well, kind of. ONI was still on the mat, coughing up mist. Nacho, ever the samaritan, gives ONI a hand with a heimlich maneuver (no doubt learned from years of being a spicy salsa snack)! ONI stumbles about as Nacho checks on him, reassuring he's ok. Satisfied, Nacho proceeds to hit ANOTHER GORDITA CRUNCH to win this for his team! ONI ELIMINATED! WINNERS: NACHO INFERNO, DEREK GRACE, AND EL ARDOR! Epic, braggart as usual once again started for his team and was on the receiving end of an absolute drubbing by Grace and Stein. Eventually he managed to tag in Mesias, the big man's size advantage was much less pronounced here, especially with Stein, who managed to get an amazing Steinbuster to secure victory for High Octane to advance to the championship match! WINNERS: HIGH OCTANE RATING: E+ SECOND MATCH! TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT SEMIFINAL! The luchadoras put up a game struggle against the more experienced salacious grapplers, but sadly it would not be enough as Agent Bristow finds her immaculate suit pants being hooked by Dale for the dirty pin and win for L.E.W.D! WINNERS: L.E.W.D! RATING: E- FIRST SEGMENT: THE UNFLAPPABLE NACHO INFERNO! PARTICIPANTS: http://i.imgur.com/wbILvZs.jpg In anticipation of his upcoming mask with Biohazard, Nacho Inferno declares in a backstage promo that he will not be bothered by Hazard's strange tactic of shouting divisive opinions in order to gain an advantage. Far from it, Nacho rationalizes that due to his status as THE party snack, he is inclusive to all known ideas, no matter how radical. We don't really have the heart to tell the guy he's not actually a nacho, that'd be like kicking a puppy. RATING: E+ THIRD MATCH LUCHADOR SUPREMO QUALIFIER! Much offense was taken by Nacho who proceeded to deliver a LOT of offence to Biohazard, whose dastardly tactics could not stand against the fiery inferno of Nacho's rage. A Gordita Crunch and a pin signal a victory for salsa-dipped snacks everywhere. WINNER: NACHO INFERNO RATING: D SECOND SEGMENT: "THE DARK MASTER!" He continues into the ring, grabbing a microphone and sitting Indian Style in the center of the ring. "Mistakes of last month "Due to lack of true guidance "Come forth my master." The lights go out, and when they come back on... http://i.imgur.com/lSvOt3C.jpg This mysterious newcomer introduces himself as 'Master AKUMA' and vows to bring a shroud of darkness down upon Lucha Bonanza, and that his disciple will start by extinguishing the flames of El Ardor! The ferocious luchador had his own problems to deal with, considering he was the first member of his team to be eliminated last week. As such, the Burning Pain brings it fast and hard to his opponent, demonstrating his aptitude to both throw punches as well as springboard off the ropes. However, one can never discount the deviousness of ONI, especially when he has his Master backing him, a bit of misdirection from AKUMA allows ONI to sneakily hit Ardor with a mist shot followed by a blinding fast high kick for the victory! WINNER: ONI RATING: D- MAIN EVENT MATCH! CAMPEONES DE PAREJAS TOURNAMENT FINALS WINNERS RECEIVE SPOTS IN THE LUCHADOR SUPREMO TITLE MATCH! Grace and Stein once again showed their intermingling of both the Puroresu and Japanese Junior styles to be a potent combination, while the experience of L.E.W.D allowed them to function as the seasoned unit they were. This experience would lead the latter team to victory as an attempt at a swanton by Grace is avoided by Chip, allowing both members of L.E.W.D to smack Stein off the apron with a stereo superkick before finishing off Grace with the same for the three! Sheesh. We'd like to thank you for sticking by us in our first couple of months in operation. Sure we may not be the ILL, or even TWR, but we'd like to believe our product is turning heads. Dreamscape are creepy guys, but the already mostly costumed crowd at the Lonesome Cowboy were into it and it made them the favorites going into this veritable monster mash of a match. Execution Incorporated once again proved themselves formidable in the early goings, with Caido finally learning his lesson and starting the match instead of Epic. However, this came back to bite him as he tagged the egotistical Aussie when it seemed Princesa Pantera was all but done for and had his tag partner rolled up when his back was turned. [insert Price is Right Failure Noise Here] EXECUTION INC. ELIMINATED It's an odd thing when tecnicos are the ones doing battle with one another, it's almost refreshing to see two duos of do-gooders doing battle. However, there could only be one victor...wel, two victors but you get what I mean. And those winners would be Dreamscape, landing a very impressive Night Terror on Pantera for the victory. WINNERS: DREAMSCAPE RATING: E+ SEGMENT 1: A "REAL" ROYAL! As Pantera was helped to the back by her compatriot, the two were shocked when surprisingly regal music began to play... http://i.imgur.com/7zW9NnW.jpg A Royal Pain Principe Azteca II stepped out from the back ahead of his team for the upcoming trios match. He strode past the luchadoras, smirking snidely and making a comment in Spanish that we eventually found out (via Google Translate) basically said 'Time for a REAL Royal to get the job done'. We think. Honestly he may have said 'My hovercraft is full of eels' for all we know. Sure ticked off Princesa though, she had to get dragged to the back by Bristow as Azteca took a bow in the ring. Maybe she hates eels. Rating: F- (Everyone's a critic) SECOND MATCH! TRIOS BATTLE! (Last Month Doesn't Count) Now if you thought Azteca was annoying, Biohazard was quick to remind everyone why he was the most hated man in Lucha Bonanza by quickly declaring 'EL HOT DOG IS STUPID!' the second he stepped out from behind the curtain. Ala Dorada, meanwhile, just sort of stood there...we think he may not fully understand English yet. Just smile and nod, Dorada, smile and nod. However, the tecnicos showed themselves to be a far more cohesive unit, El Ardor and Grace resuming their partnership from the first Bonanza with the added flair of TEXAS behind them. They stormed the ring and the fight was on, each side showing off spectacular prowess in their own way. Ala Dorada would steal the show early on with a high-flying moonsault off the top turnbuckle onto the other participants on the floor. Sadly, this bravado would bring the ire of Azteca, who attempted victory with his own moonsault onto TEXAS, only to be met with a pair of knees that'd send him reeling up into a Fall From Grace (Ace Cutter) from Derek to secure victory for the tecnicos. WINNERS: EL ARDOR, TEXAS, AND DEREK GRACE RATING: D- SECOND SEGMENT: L.E.W.D UNITED? PARTICIPANTS: http://i.imgur.com/Xf3qaO8.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/EZ5ErZN.jpg Backstage, L.E.W.D were standing by for an interview, declaring that they would use their tag team expertise to dismantle both Inferno and ONI tonight before deciding which one of them would be victorious in the match the only way true partners could: Rock, Paper, Scissors. They also reveal that the main event is actually a ladder match, and roast Derek Grace for not pointing that out. This apparently embarrassed Nacho Inferno so much, he went into hiding and won't be giving his own promo tonight. Shaaaaaaame! RATING: E+ SEMI MAIN EVENT MATCH! Both of these two made it their mission to tear into each other like a pitbull into a side of beef! (The dog kind, not the tag team) Keith's kicks and bonecrunching suplexes met P.L.A.Y.A's vast array of street fighting skills in an all out brawl that threatened to destroy the building itself...or at least get us shut down due to P.L.A.Y.A nearly irish whipping Keith out the fire exit. Both sides were ruthless in their displays of power and brutality, buoyed by the fact the ref was too terrified of them both to say anything. Needless to say,we all breathed a sigh of relief when Stein managed to put the pugnacious P.L.A.Y.A down with a Steinbuster, more out of fear of the roof coming down on our heads than anything. WINNER: KEITH STEIN RATING: E+ THIRD SEGMENT: SORE LOSER Stein didn't get much of a chance to celebrate his victory before P.LA.Y.A ambushed him with a steel chair, beating down the Puro Powerhouse within an inch of his life before storming off to the back. RATING: F+ PENULTIMATE SEGMENT: THE POWER OF DARKNESS! PARTICIPANTS: http://i.imgur.com/hk50NuI.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/lSvOt3C.jpg Our final promo before the main event featured ONI and Master AKUMA declaring that they and they alone deserved to hold the Luchador Supremo Title, as the power of darkness outweighed party shenanigans and mere deviancy! They vow that by hook or by crook (mostly likely by crook) they will leave with the belt around ONI's waist! RATING: E+ FINAL SEGMENTS: ENTRANCES GALORE! LEWD ENTRANCE http://i.imgur.com/Xf3qaO8.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/EZ5ErZN.jpg The Tag Champs enter the building amid confetti and techno music, flaunting their bodies with each and every move, holding up titles nearly as shiny as their body glitter. RATING: F+ ONI ENTRANCE http://i.imgur.com/hk50NuI.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/lSvOt3C.jpg Sickly green fog and the tunes of a lonely wood flute accompany the sinister figures of ONI and AKUMA as they stride towards the ring, clad in robes and cloaks and weird turban thingies. In sync they spew forth criss-crossing spouts of poison mist. RATING: F+ (Screw you guys, that was cool) NACHO INFERNO ENTRANCE! All is quiet in the arena as the fans await the arrival of their hero, their savior from either side in this assemblage of eeeeevil...they wait, and wonder...how will he make his entrance? http://i.imgur.com/wbILvZs.jpg If you guessed leading a dancing band of costumed fans out from the back and having the security guards let the rest flood the ringside area in a salsa flavored dance party, you'd be correct! Pardon me while I get my groove on! APPROXIMATELY FIVE MINUTES LATER! Oh right, there was a match supposed to happen, huh? I was too busy helping Nacho crowd surf. RATING: E+ (Awwww yeah~) MAIN EVENT LUCHADOR SUPREMO LADDER MATCH! The second the bell dinged, they were on him like a pack of dogs, beating him vigorously and tossing him right out of the ring. Jerks. However, the alliance didn't last long as L.E.W.D immediately turned on the scion of Darkness and began going after him. But even in the darkest recesses, one has allies, as ONI soon found himself fighting L.E.W.D ALONGSIDE AKUMA! The old master proved himself quite impressive (almost like he'd done this before), but youth trumped experience as superkick from L.E.W.D sent him tumbling from the ring! L.E.W.D appeared to have things quite in hand, even going so far as to bring the ladder in the ring and commence their rock, paper, scissors game before both were yanked around, Chip by ONI, Dale by Nacho! A blast of posion mist blinded Chip, while Dale got nailed with a Gordita Crunch! ONI and Nacho glanced at one another for only a moment before both were taken down by a clothesline from the other! From there it was anyone's match, with every man taking their own grab at the belt, but to no avail. L.E.W.D were finally taken out of the match when Nacho managed to Gordita Crunch Chip onto Dale, and it almost seemed like our hero would remain undefeated as our first champion, but ONI met him at the top of the ladder, leading to a slugfest between the two. Rights slammed into the faces of both men, and just when it seemed like Nacho would knock ONI off, a gout of poison mist...MISSED! Nacho ducked to the side and lifted ONI up, seeming to set up for a Gordita Crunch... UNTIL AKUMA BLASTED HIM WITH A LEAPING GOUT OF MIST TO THE FACE! ONI slipped like a snake off of Nacho's shoulders and slammed a boot into the masked man's face, sending him tumbling from the ladder to the mat below! All that remained was for ONI to claim the belt and begin a reign of DARKNESS over Lucha Bonanza! WINNER AND FIRST LUCHADOR SUPREMO: ONI! RATING: D-!
