Cornellverse 2016 Mod (Your Ideas)

Recommended Posts

In the US the main company was… DAVE. But a new DAVE. The Owner was Victor DAVE Lambert, the grandson of the infamous Terry Lambert and producer of tv realities as The Jail of Famous and Naked in LA. The new DAVE is a crazed and sexist soap opera comedy full of stupid characters like The Goldbuster(Rocky Golden), Dan-C-Tron (Remo Richardson), Dyplodocus (T-Rex), The President of Canada(Roger Cage), Fonzo the FortuneTeller (Danny Fonzarelli) or the A.N.Bolycs (Big Smack & Jim Force). All the true wrestling fans HATES DAVE, but a lot of casuals youngsters are mesmerized for this thoughtless spectacle.

The second company in US is the USPW. After the dead of Sam Strong the company is leaded by Alicia Strong and his husband, Eric Eisen. TCW has been bought by Sean McFly, the TWL has been reopened by Christian Faith and Jerry Eisen is keeping (barely) alive SWF after the dead of Richard Eisen. Also Angry Gilmore has bought the CZCW and is growing mixing American high flyers and Mexican luchadores.

In Canada the NOTBPW is in shambles hoping that a new wave of young talent took the fading torch, and GCG is Juggernauting… well all the juggernauting that Canada can be.

In Mexico SOTBPW has lost a step as some of his best wrestlers has going north and the resurgence of OLLIE with… El Patron Jr.

Japan is living a new Wrestling Golden Age. BHOTWG, PGHW and the upcoming GCG (leaded by the duo Kawate-Miyazaki) have formed a new alliance and are making some of the strongest shows of the history.

In UK-Europe 21CW is the top dog, but has a new challenger, the UEW that has been bought by Tom Cornell who moved the company from Madrid to Majorca (ah, Tom what a smart lad you are…) and has attracted some of the biggest names in Europe.

And Australia… I Forget Australia…

CZCW 2016:

CZCW was able to get a television deal on a tiny Regional Network with coverage in the South-West, North-West, Mid-West and Hawaii to bring back their weekly show CZCW Coast to Coast.

However as is the story with CZCW there is constant talk of a talent raid from BHOTWG, PGHW, TCW, and SWF.

Notable departures:

Marc Speed - in his 2013 bio it talks about him bulking up in preparation for a move to a promotion where size is an issue. That could be an upward move to USPW or a move across the country to NYCW.

Hollywood Jake Idol - at 6'4 250 with charisma to burn he is definitely snatched up by one of the big 3 in the U.S by now.

Notable New Comers:

Rayne Man - The former Greg Rayne debuted for CZCW in mid 2015 hoping to fill the James Prudence role as a guy who has worked in the big leagues and is above CZCW. Time will tell if he can make it his own and get over in this new environment.

Notable Risers:

Al Coleman - He has been pushed to be one of the top contender for the Coastal Zone title. His style being so contrary to the flashy high flyers in CZCW have worked in his favor. He has been, in his words, "clipping the wings off the little birdies in the Coastal Zone." There have been rumors that he has been going into business for himself of late and shoot beating guys up in the ring. This has lead to simmering tension in the locker room between him and some of the workers.

High Flyin Hawaiian - He has been steadily becoming one of the more popular workers in CZCW. 2 tours in Japan with PGHW has helped improve his ring work as well. Definitely still one to watch for future stardom.

American Cobras (Spillane and Malloy) - They have started taking steroids, bulking up considerably. They have risen fast in CZCW with their unique style that they dubbed "American Strong Style." Malloy still flies but has developed a hard hittin puro aspect to his ring work as well. Spillane has increased his power game thanks to his tireless strength training.

Struggling:

Jackpot Jordan - Forced to work as a singles competitor for the first time since his debut in 2007, Jordan has struggled. Maybe a change of scenery is what this young worker needs.

Simon Waves - Not catching on in CZCW, it's clear he needs to gain a lot more indy experience before he can compete here. He appears in over his head at times. The fans haven't taking to him feeling as he is a poor man's James Prudence replacement.

Big Storyline of 2014/2015 -

Anarchy Rulz stable - Frankie Perez, Notorious (tag team), Jonny Perez, & Air Attack Weasel

Frankie Perez was part of a competitive friendly series with the Coastal Zone champ, Mikey James, where he couldn't quite beat Mikey when the title was on the line. Mikey then started doing battle with Coastal Zone Xtreme champion Air Attack Weasel. Things all came to a head when Mikey won the Xtreme title from Weasel, becoming the first person ever to simultaneously hold both singles titles.

The success of James lead to jealousy and friction between the Cali Dragons team. Frankie even went as far as to walk out on Mikey mid title match against Notorious (the Coastal Zone Tag Team champions), preventing Mikey from becoming CZCW's first ever simultaneous Triple Crown champion.

Frankie banded together with Air Attack and the Notorious team under the stable Anarchy Rulz to take all the titles back from Mikey. They successfully accomplished this by underhandedly injuring Mikey during the first of his 2 in 1 night title defenses.

During a rematch Anarchy Rulz members were barred from ring side - if they interfered they would have to relinquish their titles. This was no problem as Frankie's brother Jonny Perez would help Frankie retain in Mikey's championship rematch.

Donnie J and Fox Mask stepped up next against the group. Donnie J said in places like TCW, SWF, and USPW you can cheat your way to the top but in the Coastal Zone you have to earn it.

This leads to Fox Mask and Remmy Skye "Zone Out" taking the tag titles from Notorious in December 2015 and Donnie J becoming a 4 time Coastal Zone Champion, ending Frankie's first reign at just 2 months.

The Texas Wrestling League were a long-time feature of the southern wrestling scene, running in various guises from the late sixties all the way through to the mid nineties. Their longevity was down to keeping things simple and giving the fans exactly what they wanted. Amongst the famous champions from TWL's past are names like Professor Nero, Pat Deacon, Chief Two Eagles and Rip Chord. It was forced to close because of the sheer dominance SWF maintained over the industry. in the summer of 2014, Rip Chord announced his return to the wrestling industry and the revival of the Texas Wrestling League. Meanwhile, Ricky Dale Johnson, believing he gave TCW everything he had aligned with his idol to become the Head Booker of the TWL. They acquired a small TV deal, cult status and membership in the COTT in 2015. The revived TWL looks to be another interesting addition to the U.S. wrestling scene that has exploded in the past two years.

Talent wise, TWL used their connections to amass a strong talent pool. Texas Pete and The American Buffalo both left TCW to join TWL, as did Harry Allen since they all felt overshadowed in TCW. Killer Shark, Eliot Thomas, and Jeremie Courtney also joined TWL, but on pay-per-appearance deals backed by TWL's working relationship with TCW.

Marshall Dillon joined TWL, believing that his gimmick would fit perfectly which he was correct. He became their top star, much to everyone's surprise and improved dramatically. Everset became the top monster heel, leaving SWF due to feeling underutilized. A few workers from RIPW were directed towards TWL by Professor Nero. Kentucky Bill, Ranger, Avalanche, Raphael and Jerry Martin all became members of TWL.

Antonio Del Veccio and Steven Parker came from their relations with Rip Chord through MAW. Also through MAW, Joey Minnesota, Bradley Blaze, Bulldozer Brandon Smith, Citizen X, Miller Fforde and Findlay O' Farraday. Charlie Thatcher was hired through his friendship with RDJ.

From the independent scene The Silencer, Sgt Bubba Lee West, Cobra, The Masked Mauler, Julius Moor, Pistol Pete Hall and Steve Gumble were all hired.

Finally, the closed down SCCW alumni also was exploited with Gareth Wayne, Jack Griffith. Buck Graham, Brady Prince and Coyote Dynamite being hired.

The TWL Champion should be Everest with the Tag Team Champion being the Young Guns.

Adjust the roster if there are any conflicts or make your own additions as you see fit. Remember to adjust the popularity of each worker.

Oooh I like that! Interesting indeed. Without taking the 'top, top' names, and there are enough of them, you've created a nice little promotion there! :D

<p>Not sure if he's been mentioned, but Steven Parker to 21CW would be cool. He was trained by Dark Angel, so it's an interesting dynamic with Harry Wilson there too. </p><p> </p><p>

I liked the US companies going after Canadian workers thing. Gargantuan is a must for SWF I think. Maybe one of the DeColts too.</p><p> </p><p>

SWF could take Bloodstone or McFly!</p><p> </p><p>

How about Raymond Diaz to USPW too.</p>

Narratives

The Lloyd gave me a Great Idea, the one of using Narratives to represent the future of the mod.

i am planning for the mod to have between 50 and 100 Narratives and i am accepting suggestions, you could say for example:

"in 2017,Marc Speed bulks up and becomes a Heavyweight"

or

"in 2019,Christian Faith Retires"

to make the "Future" of the mod better, you can post any amounts of Suggestions to the mod and to the Narratives! :D

FCW should join the COTT and the company should start pushing Island Boy Apollo as their next big star. Kirk Jameson, Mainstream Hernandez and probably Hell's Bouncer should have all moved on to better companies. Xavi Ferrera and Riccochet Ramone should be hired to keep a steady stream of Puerto Ricans in the Puerto Rican company.

If its possible, put Bradford Pererell and Kip Keenan in TWL or at least USPW.

I'll leave this last one for you to fill in the blanks, unless you need help. I hope it does not seem to extreme.

RAW should be the most popular company in the world (unless Swoop does not work there anymore, if so, disregard this).
