Also lead to me signing LSM on her debut as well so them closing was the best thing that ever happened to me, now I just have to contend with CGC and they're a sinking ship. Mostly because I've snatched up literally any of their young workers that are worth a damn.</p><p> </p><p> I also feel like I'd be nowhere without my women's division, all because USPW didn't want to re-sign Alicia Strong. From there I picked up Melody, Brooke Tyler, Jamie Quine, Amber Allen, Tiffany Jade, like wow! There were so many quality workers being left in the dust in my game just because none of the other feds are booking their women.</p>

<p>As if signing Austin wasn't gamey enough, the Rock's contract came up and I had to sign the best in the world. Pretty much a cert for wrestler of the year( average of 95 <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />) Going to hold his debut off until Wrestle Kingdom 2. Sting ended up going to WWE. Taking this thing global on the NJPW network. Somebody stop me. </p><p> </p><p>

CM Punk is getting robbed of his Austin match at Wrestle Kingdom 2. Going to be a big-time babyface when he returns though. We are going to find him all busted up, broken bones etc. The only thing we hear from Punk is that it was not Austin. Where was Joe? Yakuza say if they did it, they would admit to it. blah blah blah. </p><p> </p><p>

Anyway, there will be a note found beside Punk's body. The note says - ''Wrestle Kingdom 2. FINALLY!'' Of course, we will all play dumb and pretend to have no idea what it means. Rock will be behind it all. Samoa Joe will be with The Rock. </p><p> </p><p>

Rock is going to come in with his early 2003 persona. (with Torrie Wilson on his arm. Her contract came up at the same time.) My favourite heel version of the Rock that sadly wasn't around long enough. I picture many great angles with Masa Chono. (leader of the Yakuza)</p><p> </p><p>

The main event of Wrestle Kingdom 2 won't be Austin vs Rock or Misawa vs Joe. Rock is coming in for a confrontation with Austin. </p><p> </p><p>

It will now be Tanahashi vs Samoa Joe. Yes, Tanahashi won the title in a 60-minute iron man match at Pressure Cooker. Last year I had a Halloween show but this year I pushed back to November because Rock contract would have begun. Then I wasn't really forward thinking since his debut won't be until Wrestle kingdom. No Halloween show. </p><p> </p><p>

Shibata made his return at pressure cooker, post-match attack on Danielson. Match immediately booked for Wrestle Kingdom 2. Shibata did win his MMA fight.</p><p> </p><p>

Wrestle Kingdom 2 will also have another debut. Shinsuke Nakamura is going to retire Riki Choshu.</p><p> </p><p>

Just found out that Master Nishimura and RVD have excellent chemistry as tag team partners. Why am I not surprised? Must be the martial arts factor. If only Nishimura was older. He's a bit young to be this Miyagi like character, let's just say that RVD and Nishimura read similar books and training techniques. I noticed that Homicide is Low Ki mentor so brought him in. Had the two teams wrestle at the last show. 82 was pretty good. Should get more out of it months down the line when they get better.</p>

<p>I am currently 5 months into my PROGRESS game, about to kick off Chapter 70, the 3 day Super Strong Style 16 2018 tournament, and I am absolutely loving this save so far. </p><p> </p><p>

Currently my major storyline revolves around the Anti-WWE stance that Jimmy Havoc and Mark Haskins have taken on over the last few months. They believe it is Anti-PROGRESS, and will only hurt PROGRESS in the long run. Below is a summary of what has happened in the story up to Chapter 64. </p><p> </p><p>

The seeds were planted at Chapter 60 when Pete Dunne and Jack Gallagher's match for the WWE United Kingdom Championship main evented over the PROGRESS World title. However, Haskins & Havoc felt they had to act at Chapter 62 when Gallagher main evented again, this time facing Travis Banks for the PROGRESS title despite coming off of a loss! (Haskins and Havoc were undefeated coming into this chapter. ) Haskins & Havoc interfered and ruined the match the PROGRESS faithful were clamouring to see. </p><p> </p><p>

A deal was agreed with Jim Smallman, if they could beat the team of Gallagher and Banks at Chapter 63 then they would also be a part of the bout between the two at 64. Haskins & Havoc got away with it when Vicki Haskins introduced the Barbed Wire Bat to Jack Gallagher whilst referee Chris Roberts back was turned, to ensure her team got the victory. </p><p> </p><p>

Now Haskins & Havoc had feuded previously, and the belief that they were both entitled to a shot at the PROGRESS belt had played a big part in that. So it was hardly surprising when the cracks began to appear during the fatal 4 way. We could of easily had a new champion in Jimmy Havoc after he finished Gallagher with an Acid Rainmaker, however it was his own partner, Mark Haskins who broke up the pin! The two killed each other in the ring, just as they had previously in a Deathmatch at 55 and Travis Banks managed to pick up the pieces and remain PROGRESS champion. </p><p> </p><p>

After this ordeal, news leaked that Haskins & Havoc were banned from ever competing for the WWE UK Championship in PROGRESS. Whilst it was not known if the order came from WWE, or it was decided personally between owners JJG, it was certainly for the best.</p>

<p>Took December off. </p><p> </p><p>

Wrestle Kingdom 2 was a big success. </p><p> </p><p>

Danielson and Shibata don't have any chemistry notes but they got the match of the night 99 in their junior heavyweight title match. Danielson manages to pull through for a 7th defence. Shibata will get another chance. </p><p> </p><p>

Danielson did win the young wrestler of the year. </p><p> </p><p>

Ricky Marvin is now ready to rock. He was part of a money in the bank type match at Wrestle Kingdom 2. Dragon Kid won to earn a junior heavyweight title shot whenever he wants it. </p><p> </p><p>

I had Cheerleader Melissa with Kenny Omega. No chemistry and never really got the managerial help bonus. Decided to try her out with Marvin. They have great chemistry. It's settled then. Melissa is leaving Omega. </p><p> </p><p>

Omega and Austin Aries are the current junior heavyweight tag team champions. I unretired these belts for them pretty much. They had a disappointing heel vs heel match. Defeating Low Ki and Homicide. Their next defence will be against Michaels and Danielson. Oh yeah. </p><p> </p><p>

Decimation (Jack and Steen) defeated TenKoji, Joint Chiefs (Fujinami and Shinzaki) and the Kings of wrestling to win the vacant tag team titles. </p><p> </p><p>

Nakamura and Choshu got a 67. It was all about making Nakamura. This is the end of Choshu as an active wrestler. Chono plans a big Yakuza celebration on Monday. </p><p> </p><p>

Unfortunately, Tanahashi and Joe was a bit of a letdown. Harsh critics are calling it a flop. It got a B+ 86. The tag team title match, Danielson and Shibata, the special attraction ( Misawa defeating Shawn Michaels) and RVD retaining the ic title against Ishii (89) all got a better rating than the main event. </p><p> </p><p>

Crixus and Muta got 84. </p><p> </p><p>

Joe will get a consolation prize. He will take the IC title at the next event. </p><p> </p><p>

The Rock is clearly a fan of Jushin Liger. He praised him while he was collecting his wrestler of the year award. Said it was one of the conditions for getting the most electrifying signature on the most electrifying contract there ever was. That will be the semi-main event of the February pay per view. </p><p> </p><p>

The main event will be Tanahashi vs Misawa. This will be their fifth meeting in total. 2-2 Meltzer said on his hotline that Misawa is the surest thing in wrestling and Tanahashi needs this after the disappointing main event of Wrestle Kingdom 2. </p><p> </p><p>

The main storyline of the first part of the year is Tanahashi dealing with the Yakuza, this will lead to a Tanahashi vs Chono match. I hope the heat blows the roof off. I just have the feeling this feud will be hot. Austin will be involved in it, so is the Rock. </p><p> </p><p>

Wrestle Kingdom 3 will have the Austin vs Rock match. Yes, a year later than their real-life final match. That was also a condition of Rock joining NJPW. He wants to whoop that bald-headed candy ass at the biggest event of all time, Wrestle Kingdom 3. </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="3511%20-%20Raw%20crying%20suit%20vince_mcmahon%20wwf.png" data-src="https://whatistheexcel.com/wooobooru/_images/202f21e6307160853fd608720504ce69/3511%20-%20Raw%20crying%20suit%20vince_mcmahon%20wwf.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Austin is teaming with the kings of wrestling vs Nagata, Ishii and Nakamura (Yakuza) at the next show. Castagnoli is on the next big thing list and was in both USA and Japan development. Demanding to be called up for a long time. He is more than ready to go. They recently upset Togi Makabe and Yuji Nagata in a well-received match. (that was also better than the Wrestle Kingdom 2 main event.)</p><p> </p><p>

I will get 3 months from The Rock before he goes to do a big-budget historical movie. </p><p> </p><p>

The wrestling industry is starting to climb out of the gutter. It was down at 0 but now up to 10. Ratings starting to go up again.</p>

<p>Just closed out the main storylines for CGC at Chaos in the Cage. Right before the ppv Alex gives me a new goal that I have to keep Jack above 71 pop in Canada. I was a little worried as I had gotten him up to 75 and my plan was for Gargantuan to take the strap. I went with it any way and both Jack and Gargantuan sky rocketed upward. Jack is at 80 pop now in Canada and Gargantuan wins a feud against my figurehead and is now 72 pop(starts at 58 IIRC)! </p><p> </p><p>

Game plan now is a quick fued with Christian price and then on to Danny Fonzarelli and Ricky DeColt until next year. I'm planning on building up Price all the way to the WrestleFestival tournament I'm using and have him lose in the Finals to Jack. At this point it's heel time and if everything goes well a title run for Christian Price.</p><p> </p><p>

Still haven't found a replacement program for Thrill Seeker and Ricky DeColt yet. Thrill Seeker will most likely get paid with Jack and use his stable of new guys(Youngman, Gauge, Jameson) to try and tip the scales in his favor. Ricky will end up with Frederique Antonio Garcia who is in time declined and I picked up for a year to bleed off pop and put over Ricky, Donte Dunn and either Ross Henry or I Cubed.</p><p> </p><p>

CGC is super fun this is my first game ever with them. I'm thinking I'll be through year 1 by the end of the week.</p>

This year, both brands will send a team of five, but I've thrown in a twist for myself: The winning team will get to pick as many workers from the losers' roster as they had survivors at the end of the match. So if Team American Wrestling wins 5-3, they get to take two members of the National Throwdown roster. I'm not booking a finish for this match because I want to see what happens, and I want to force myself to make some potentially difficult choices.<p> </p><p> Projected teams: Rich Money, Joss Thompson, Sammy Bach, James Justice & Dusty Ducont (American) vs. Steve Frehley, Wolf Hawkins, Enygma, Jumbo Jackson & Primus Allen (National)</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I replaced Dusty with Des Davids after Des took the Television title off of him.</p><p> </p><p> As for the match, as you see, Team American won. Or Frehley or Hawkins, but that would wreck their program. Maybe Scythe? But he might get lost in the shuffle and I'm short of ideas for him as it is. (A trade is difficult to manage because the two rosters are unbalanced -- National has the Women's division.) Thoughts?</p>

<p>I've taken Alan James recommendation to heart and downloaded WCW Lives. I started my own promotion using assets from the mods section, forgot exactly where sorry. It's 1WGP and their titles, whoever created them are amazing! Regardless, I needed a break from TCW CV97, tried Fleisch's mod but I've been craving an early 2k mod so. Here we are!</p><p> </p><p>

I started small, but hit regional at the very start of 2002. Now in March. Current champions are as follows... I do plan on doing weight splits and a women division but not yet. I need to grow first I feel.</p><p> </p><p>

1WGP Champion: Rob Van Dam - WWF still hasn't taken him! I have no idea why, but he is the reason why I've been growing (that and a great economy!) I'm praying I have him when I hit cult so I can lock him down. He has been champ since day 1 and just finished his 10th month with the title. </p><p> </p><p>

1WGP Intercontinental: LA Parka - He won it off Samoa Joe, and is on his 3rd defense. Not much to say, I have a solid midcard in terms of talent, just unsure who will take it from Parka.</p><p> </p><p>

1WGP Tag Team: Second City Saints (Punk/Cabana) - My tag division is literally 2 teams plus random jobbers I bring or random combinations to find good chemistry. Zero luck so far. Division needs help but I figure it'll be fine once it expands. </p><p> </p><p>

My NBT list is crazy right now though. I wonder how many I can keep. On the list are:</p><p> </p><p>

John Cena, Samoa Joe, Nigel McGuiness, CM Punk, Carly Colon. I know my UC is on there as well but he is a main eventer, but I'm pleased to have gotten a good destiny roll, I guess.</p>

<p>Moving on in my May 96 New England Championship Wrestling 0/0/0 report.</p><p> </p><p>

I've moved up to regional. I struggled to hit regional due to losing regional battles to WWC and TEWG (Total Extreme Wrestling Group, AI created company) so I finally hired a couple of more expensive workers in the form of Kurt Angle and a recently released from WWF Glenn Jacobs. </p><p> </p><p>

Meanwhile Brian Danielson has gain amazing gains due to touring with both NJPW and AJPW. An extended program with Angle has lead to me both winning the regional battles and getting my first two 70+ ranked matches. The angle has led to a Charlie Haas heel turn and a face turn for the original "figurehead" of the company, Shane Helms.</p><p> </p><p>

Glenn immediately got put into a feud with Sexton Hardcastle. The goal was to get Hardcastle over, unfortunately Glenn is enraged at the notion of jobbing to him so he's actually lost popularity as a result of this feud.</p><p> </p><p>

AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels are doing what they do, getting entwined in a series of great matches.</p><p> </p><p>

With the rise to regional, the NECW Tag Team Titles have finally been implemented with the finals of the inaugural feud coming down to 2-Count (Jamie Knoble and Shannon Moore) vs. The Regulators (Chris Justice and Rick Fuller). What other tag teams will get into the mix in this budding decision?</p><p> </p><p>

Samoa Joe continues his rampage against Mike Quackenbush for the title of 'best submission artist in NECW'</p><p> </p><p>

A bidding war with the newly opened RoH for up-and-comer CM Punk has resulted in both companies getting their way (since it's PPA after all) but Punk ending up loyal to RoH. Can't win em all.</p><p> </p><p>

Even more interesting is the AI dealing with WCW and WWF.</p><p> </p><p>

The year is now 2002. Age is starting to catch up with WCW's main event scene. Despite pillaging WWF's main eventers in 96-97 WCW finds itself falling behind in match quality, leading to an incomprehensible comeback for WWF retaking the slot of #1 company in the world despite only having 2 workers with 80+ (or that that matter 70+) pop in Mankind and Shawn Micheals. And Shawn departed to make a movie for 6 months in 2001 leaving the main event of Wrestlemania 17 to be Yokozuna vs. Jeff Jarrett which scored a whopping 68.</p><p> </p><p>

Unfortunately WCW is stuck sticking the declining talent in the main event scene and getting middling results while Shawn can light it up on anybody on the other side of things. An inconceivable World Title switch occurred when Lord Steven Regal bested Randy Savage for the belt despite being about the 15th most popular worker in the company. His reign lasted for all of 2 defenses before losing to Davey Boy Smith.</p>

<p>Njpw 2018</p><p> </p><p>

Right now I am in February of 2018 with NJPW( Started first day of January) and here is what is going on.</p><p> </p><p>

New Stables:</p><p>

Rollins Wrecking Crew: I selected Seth Rollins as my user character and had him attack Hirooki Goto(NEVER Openweight champ) at New Years Dash. He then debuted a new stable called the Rollins Wrecking Crew, consisting of Dolph Ziggler, Ryan Reeves, Austin Aries and Alex Shelley. This is a group of stars who feel they have been held down everywhere they go and are no longer following a system of rules. </p><p> </p><p>

Liger 2k: I wanted to get Liger away from Tiger Mask and try to job Tiger Mask out due to his poor personality, so I have Liger create a stable of Young Lions in the Junior division that he plans to help grow as his last task of his career. </p><p> </p><p>

Main story currently is Jericho wanting Okada(IWGP Heavyweight Champion) but being told he must win The New Japan Cup to earn a shot. I plan to have Jericho win in the finals over John Hennigan, who will have a historically easy path to the finals compared to Chris Jericho having to beat Omega, Naito and Ishii. The plan is to have Jericho defeat Okada, win the rematch and then drop the title to Omega, who earns a shot having already beaten Jericho at WK12. John Hennigan basically waltzing into the finals is going to be brewed into some kind of story but not quite sure how, seeing as he doesn't have quite the popularity as Jericho.</p><p> </p><p>

I raised Jay Whites star quality to 68 because I foresee him being a pretty big star in New Japan. I am currently building him to feud with Omega until Omega forfeits the US title to challenge for the IWGP Heavyweight title. Then I will run an 8 man single elimination tournament and crown Jay White as the champ.</p><p> </p><p>

Bullet Club for the most part is seeing no changes, yet. </p><p> </p><p>

Minoru Suzuki is currently falling into a losing streak along with the rest of Suzuki-Gun performing terribly. I want to have this lead to Suzuki leaving for a few months and coming back with a darker character, and I want to bring in a new face for him to control and have the fortunes of the group turn around. Haven't figured out who this new character will be, awaiting WWE contracts to expire, and scouting other talents. Thing Dungeon of Doom, but not cartoonish.</p><p> </p><p>

Moon-pushing Kota Ibushi, who I will have defeat Kushida in a year long feud over the Jr. heavyweight title where they draw and eventually Hiromu wins the title off of Ibushi at WK13 or the event after that. I considered putting Ibushi in the heavyweight division but I felt the heavyweight division had enough contenders that Ibushi would be jobbing, so this is clearly the best place for him. </p><p> </p><p>

Profits have been great so I have been able to sign a lot of names and lock up some of my major talents to written contracts. Hoping the financial success continues... Anticipating Shibata's return, he is scheduled back first day of 2019. I plan to have him attack the world champion at WK13, which I currently have no clue who that will be.</p><p> </p><p>

I do want to expand into other regions but finding a viable way to do so profitably is the issue. I am thinking I might have to launch a temporary brand split to have a group of workers tour there while the rest run a Japan tour.</p>

<p>WCW stole CM Punk from me... and Taijiri, and Road Dogg, and Juventud Guerrera, nope not done yet because they also took Nunzio, and Dragon Kid, and Nova as well. Basically my entire Junior division and my biggest star in CM Punk next to Samoa Joe. </p><p> </p><p>

I started my Women's division as well, had Manami Toyota who was going to hold the belt for many years while helping younger women develop... but uh, WWE took her. So... my women's division best worker is Gail Kim who is essentially considered a "decent" wrestler.</p><p> </p><p>

Cena got injured for a year, managed to go successful surgery so he'll be back in only 6 months, very Cena-esque. WCW released Alex Wright so I had him for a bit, he was my Intercontinental champ until AAA stole him.</p><p> </p><p>

Mick Foley got released by WWE (?) and am now big enough to sign him. So he will be huge at boosting my popularity. I've been relying on Samoa Joe and he is getting quite popular so I'm worried that as soon as WWE or WCW want him... off he goes. </p><p> </p><p>

I've noticed in this mod though every company in Japan is dying, NJPW, AJPW, Zero-1, M-Pro, they're all so far in debt. I might purchase one of them when I hit cult to kickstart my popularity in Japan tbh.</p>

He then debuted a new stable called the Rollins Wrecking Crew, consisting of Dolph Ziggler, Ryan Reeves, Austin Aries and Alex Shelley. This is a group of stars who feel they have been held down everywhere they go and are no longer following a system of rules. </p><p> </p><p> Liger 2k: I wanted to get Liger away from Tiger Mask and try to job Tiger Mask out due to his poor personality, so I have Liger create a stable of Young Lions in the Junior division that he plans to help grow as his last task of his career. </p><p> </p><p> Main story currently is Jericho wanting Okada(IWGP Heavyweight Champion) but being told he must win The New Japan Cup to earn a shot. John Hennigan basically waltzing into the finals is going to be brewed into some kind of story but not quite sure how, seeing as he doesn't have quite the popularity as Jericho.</p><p> </p><p> I raised Jay Whites star quality to 68 because I foresee him being a pretty big star in New Japan. I am currently building him to feud with Omega until Omega forfeits the US title to challenge for the IWGP Heavyweight title. Then I will run an 8 man single elimination tournament and crown Jay White as the champ.</p><p> </p><p> Bullet Club for the most part is seeing no changes, yet. </p><p> </p><p> Minoru Suzuki is currently falling into a losing streak along with the rest of Suzuki-Gun performing terribly. I want to have this lead to Suzuki leaving for a few months and coming back with a darker character, and I want to bring in a new face for him to control and have the fortunes of the group turn around. Haven't figured out who this new character will be, awaiting WWE contracts to expire, and scouting other talents. Thing Dungeon of Doom, but not cartoonish.</p><p> </p><p> Moon-pushing Kota Ibushi, who I will have defeat Kushida in a year long feud over the Jr. heavyweight title where they draw and eventually Hiromu wins the title off of Ibushi at WK13 or the event after that. I considered putting Ibushi in the heavyweight division but I felt the heavyweight division had enough contenders that Ibushi would be jobbing, so this is clearly the best place for him. </p><p> </p><p> Profits have been great so I have been able to sign a lot of names and lock up some of my major talents to written contracts. Hoping the financial success continues... Anticipating Shibata's return, he is scheduled back first day of 2019. I plan to have him attack the world champion at WK13, which I currently have no clue who that will be.</p><p> </p><p> I do want to expand into other regions but finding a viable way to do so profitably is the issue. I am thinking I might have to launch a temporary brand split to have a group of workers tour there while the rest run a Japan tour.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Some more tidbits...</p><p> </p><p> I'm thinking of having Tanahashi turn his back on NJPW entirely. We saw him in a couple matches vs Okada use underhanded tactics and be a little sinister, but after being booed numerous times, maybe it's time Tanahashi pulls a Hogan and betrays his fans. I would have Tanahashi either join Chaos and befriend Okada or have Okada and Tanahashi form their own faction, both leaving their groups behind. Kazuchika Okadas reason for forming a new stable with Tanahashi could be he knew Chaos wouldn't accept Hiroshi as a member so he had to leave and form a new stable, signifying his partnership with Tanahashi being more important than the legacy he leaves behind with Chaos.</p>

<p>Started a new save, this time it’s the Dawn of Attitude 1996 mod going as WWF. Had a nice run on the road to wrestlemania, HBK wins the rumble which Razor Ramon turn up to drunk, resulting in all other competitors complaining (not exaggerating, all participants excluding Kilq members were annoyed), so he went to rehab, and until mania I had about 6-7 guys in rehab. Signed Jericho and Storm to get some tag teams, plus tonga kid aka the samoan savage and samu to get the headshrinkers done with Phatu already on roster, then every one I tried signing went to WCW of course, except for their very own expiring contract Brian Pillman, who obviously had to go to rehab as well as 123 kid.</p><p> </p><p>

Storylines wise, the million dollar corporation has been a gold mine for me, with Sycho Sid surprisingly good in ring, Steve Austin doing his thing and Ted DiBiase on top, while their opposer was Ahmed Johnson (who has terrible chemistry with Sid of course), who was then joined by former Corporation member Kama, and finally, a month before KOTR Austin turned face! HHH replaced 123 kid and I signed Bryan Clarke to replace Austin and it is going to be fun doing EXACTLY what Austin did in real life lol.</p><p>

Then there’s the HBK-Harts feud, very uninspiring but I gotta do it for a while because the in ring stuff is gold. HBK wins at WM12 in a 60 minute iron man match. Also should note Yokozuna turned face and went to WCW.</p><p>

Undertaker turned heel which set up Taker vs Diesel at mania, and since Diesel already agreed to WCW I made him lose every match since signing. </p><p>

Then there’s the IC title picture, Ramon vacated his title after going to rehab, and Goldust is champion ever since and doing a great job, facing Pillman in the meantime, then he went to rehab and Ramon returned after surprisingly staying with WWF and giving up big money. I’m probably moving him up the ranks to face Taker or help HBK in his battle.</p><p>

Tag team wise, brought back the Quebecers who then beat the Smoking Gunns for the titles, but The Headshrinkers (Phatu aka Rikishi, Samu and The Samoan Savage) won the titles at mania and now go up against Tatanka and Bryan Clarke of the Million Dollar Corp.</p><p>

Lastly, I got Jim Neidhart to complete the hart foundation (Bulldog, Owen & Bret, Neidhart, Jim Cornette), Vader cause his contracted was up and Rocky Maivia who looks like a solid Midcarder for the future *wink wink*</p><p>

Coming into KOTR, Bob Backlund debuted a new gimmick as a ‘reborn’ religious man (on an unrelated side note, Jake Roberts is in rehab) and will face Vader in the Semi Finals, while Austin attempts to get revenge on Sycho Sid in a never seen match, Mankind (who I forgot to mention) will go against The Undertaker for the second time after beating him on Raw with some outside help, HBK vs Bulldog is the main event and Goldust vs Ahmed Johnson will be fun too.</p><p> </p><p>

All in all, interesting to see how it goes, WCW are currently killing us even though they barely put Flair on TV (and he’s the champ), but I think I can turn it around</p>

<p>I'm doing so well now. NOAH collapsed. I managed to pick up Jun Akiyama, Kenta Kobashi, and Misawa! It was so huge because the two latter have basically 90-100 in every stat like some kind of God. Sadly... NJPW has gotten out of debt, so they'll be taking them from me now. They've already sent an offer to Misawa and Akiyama, I'm just waiting for the inevitable Kobashi pick up. I'm upset because I wanted Misawa vs Kobashi at my "WrestleMania" </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

In other news... I stole Randy Orton from OVW. I have big plans and still intend to do his Legend Killer gimmick. He is already my Intercontinental champion as well. </p><p> </p><p>

John Cena is my Heavyweight Champion. Both him and Samoa Joe haven't been taken yet by either WCW or WWE which is strange since Joe is an absolute monster right now, and Cena is really strong in his own right. </p><p> </p><p>

Fergal Devitt is my Junior Champion. Right now my Junior division is lit. Amazing talent all doing extremely well. CIMA is nuts, Gedo is doing great, LA Parka, and more. Tiger Mask IV, Ultimo Dragon, and Great Sasuke are my most talented workers but can't get over in the US. Woo.</p><p> </p><p>

Kaientai (Shoichi Funaki, TAKA Michinoku) are my Tag Champions. But this division is still pretty poor honestly.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

AAA is currently in debt and I want to make a move and purchase them. I've just hit cult and am really tempted but I just don't know if it's worth it. I feel like I should before WWE or NJPW does. If NJPW does they'll just steal more of my precious elite Japanese talent.</p>

Or Frehley or Hawkins, but that would wreck their program. Maybe Scythe? But he might get lost in the shuffle and I'm short of ideas for him as it is. (A trade is difficult to manage because the two rosters are unbalanced -- National has the Women's division.) Thoughts?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> The solution was simpler than I had made it out to be. Jillefski took Primus and the National title to his American brand right before Spencer Spade told Dawn Gemmell that he'd decided which brand he was signing with. Then, on American Wrestling, Spade convinced Jillefski to put him into an already-scheduled Television title match with Des Davids and Philippe LaGrenier. Spade won... <em>then revealed that he had signed with Dawn's National brand.</em></p><p> </p><p> This did several things:</p><p> </p><p> + Kickstarted Spade's USPW career off in a major way. He wins a belt in his first solo match in the company and gets a face boost by helping Dawn get a measure of payback on Jillefski.</p><p> + Kept Primus undefeated in one-on-one matches. (All of his losses are in tag matches, and I believe he's only been pinned once in those.)</p><p> + Also freshened up both title scenes and gives Primus new challengers. There are a lot of hosses on American Wrestling that he hasn't tangled with yet.</p><p> - It <em>did</em> cost me my No. 3 heel (behind Wolf and Casey) on the National brand. That spot arguably now belongs to Nadia Snow, of all people. Hopefully either Greg Gauge or Lassana Makutsi can get up there via their association with Casey.</p>

<p>Using the Montreal Prelude mod</p><p> </p><p>

Taker just beat Owen for the title at KOTR. I crowned Owen the champion at Wrestlemania but the belts prestige started to suffer so I’m giving one of my top guys a run for a while. Taker will eventually lose it to Austin, but I’m unsure if that’s going to be at Summerslam or Royal Rumble. In regards to his first feud, he will rematch Owen next month before someone else sets his sights on the title. Maybe Sid. </p><p> </p><p>

Kane and Mankind (Who are in the Ministry with Taker, Bearer and Sultan) won the Tag Titles off of New Age Outlaws at KOTR. NAO has held it since the start of the game and defended it against all comers, but it was time to pass the belts on in order to make Ministry look even stronger. Not sure what they’ll do regarding a tag feud yet as the New Age Outlaws already made everyone else look weak. </p><p> </p><p>

Austin has been the Intercontinental champion since last year and most recently beat Vader. Next up I’m planning on having Sultan try and prove himself to Undertaker by going after the IC belt, but he will ultimately lose. I might let Owen take the title off of Austin before Austin goes after Taker, although they have already feuded over it once before. Maybe Ken Shamrock instead. </p><p> </p><p>

William Regal aligned with Jim Cornette and went on to win the European title. I planned on letting him have a long run, but he’s failed two drug tests since winning the belt and at KOTR I had him lose it to Bulldog who dedicated the victory to Stu Hart. Regal won feuds against Blackman alongside Sunny and Finley before losing the title. </p><p> </p><p>

No idea who Bulldog will feud with but I might make him announce himself a fighting champion and let him defend it most weeks until I put it on Goldust or Sultan. </p><p> </p><p>

Jushin Liger held the Lightweight belt from day one before beating pretty much everyone over the next 6 months. A returning X Pac went after Liger calling himself the original Lightweight and ended up taking the title off of Liger on his first attempt. I will probably give Liger a rematch, which he will lose, before moving X-Pac on. Problem is, X-Pac is an upper midcard wrestler and I don’t have any eligible wrestlers even close to being able to challenge that. Unless a top WCW cruiserwright becomes available, I don’t see who could believably beat him. Only thing I could do is introduce a Lightweight from development and add them to the Ministry so he can win via dirty tactics. </p><p> </p><p>

The Rock is on an impressive win streak dating back to when I started the game. To date he has won every singles match he’s been in, slowing becoming the second most popular wrestler in the WWF (behind Austin). His unbeaten run continued right the way to the KOTR final where he beat Shamrock. His KOTR win grants him a title shot at any point over the next 12 months (not yet sure if I’ll allow a ‘cash in’ type situation or if it’ll have to be announced beforehand). I plan for him to use it to challenge Austin at Wrestlemania, which will be the first time they’ve stepped in the ring together. Austin’s title v Rocks unbeaten streak on the grandest stage of them all. </p><p> </p><p>

Vince announced that this year will see the First Tag Team KOTR tournament with the winners also receiving a title shot. Triple H called in a favour with his old pal HBK (who had been on holiday since losing a rematch to Owen) and they beat LOD in the final - reuniting DX with Chyna in the process. The Money feud is them versus Kane and Mankind but I want the tag titles to stay out for a while yet. So in the mean time I think they might recruit X-Pac and maybe NAO and have some fun!</p><p> </p><p>

Vince recently introduced a new segment called ‘RAW Talent’ where an unsigned wrestler can step into the squared circle with a current WWF star for a chance to be called up to the big leagues. Judges Vince, Sunny, Terry Funk and Rick Rude are at hand to offer advice and opinions to the hopefully post match. So far Al Snow and Steve Williams have been offered contracts, but told that they still had some work to do before being ready for the big leagues, and a returning - and slightly more toned- Yokozuna impressed enough to be offered a PPA contract. The stand out competitor so far has been Bam Bam who I stole from ECW when his contract came up for negotiations. He debuted in a winning effort in a KOTR first round tie before being cost the win in the second round when Faarooq attacked him. They are currently 1-1 and will likely go on to have a best of 7 series. I have a number of other wrestlers that I plan on bringing through via the RAW Talent scheme, some much bigger than others. </p><p> </p><p>

Sid has just set his eyes on Sable, who is still paired with Marc Mero. Sid just destroyed Mero (who has returned from a long layoff) but couldn’t persuade Sable to leave Marc. Sid, however, is persistent and they will rematch at the next PPV. Will Sable want to align with the psychotic Sid or stick with Mero?</p><p> </p><p>

I’m not very good at the long term booking aspect and I probably book month to month too much, resulting in one month long feuds before moving on to someone else. I’m also too reliant on the old fashioned brawl angle. I need to start varying my angles when having two wrestlers feuding. </p><p> </p><p>

Wrestlemania is 9 months away and I have a few ideas to go alongside the Austin v Rock main event, but I’m not yet sure how we’ll get there. I wouldn’t mind doing Kane v Taker but I also don’t want to break up Ministry too soon. I did have an idea involving Ministry and Jake Roberts that I might work towards if I can get Roberts to enter into negotiations with me, but we’ll see. I also know that Ted DiBiase’ contract is free next month and I might have him come over and start a stable to feud with DX. </p><p> </p><p>

You might have noticed that Bret Hart wasn’t present for any of this. That’s because he jumped ship to WCW last month. He had lost the title to Owen at Wrestlemania and then had a month off. When he returned he was already in discussion with WCW so I didn’t want to put him over too much, just in case. He rematches Owen in a final ‘passing of the touch’ match before losing to Rock in the main event of RAW. I wanted him to rematch Rock at a PPV but he left before that could happen. </p><p> </p><p>

As well as stealing Bret, WCW also managed to keep ahold of Hogan. I entered into negotiations mainly to help weaken WCW, not because I actually wanted Hogan. After a long negotiation, WCW offered him the same wages and bonus that I did, but allowed him to only work events - something I wasn’t prepared to do. Ultimately, the resigning of Hogan and signing of Bret hasn’t helped because I have since taken over them in the national battle. I guess having Hogan lose to the title to Luger and only appearing at PPVs has really hurt them. They’ve even started to unsuccessfully try to get WCW chants started at my shows. </p><p> </p><p>

Thoughts? Anyone have any suggestions to improve what’s going on or any ideas of avenues I should explore? I’d love some ideas on what to do regarding the Royal Rumble because I don’t want Rock to win that but I also don’t want the winner to face the champion as that’ll ruin my Rock v Austin plans.</p><p> </p><p>

EDIT: I also purchased the AWA title and have been looking for a way to introduce that. Any ideas?</p>
