Is there an in-character reason he's starting to get flabby? Has he been on a losing skid and maybe been losing his drive in character? Has he come out of a major "war" of a feud and let his guard down? Is he failing to appreciate the value of the chiseled physique he's known for in reality because of comparing himself to Vader? Some psychological issue like that to drag him down in the win-loss column that Sting and Windham could try to help him work through.</p><p> </p><p> Heck, just occurred to me that even if his fortunes have been good as of late, this could be the issue. Maybe recent successes have gone to Luger's head and he's taking them for granted. Thereby causing him not only to flab out but to be less mindful in the ring. Which in turn starts him sliding because he doesn't have the mental focus to out-think and thus outwork the monster Vader. </p><p> </p><p> Either way make the flabbiness issue a part of the story world and work up an angle around it. And if that doesn't work, there's always Plan B. Booking him more like Dusty Rhodes than the historical Lex Luger.</p>

<p>Current fortunes? That's his momentum, right? It's Major Positive, or whatever the highest one is. He's been my secondary focal point since I've started this game, next to Flair. He spent most of last year feuding with, and beating the Four Horsemen, except for Flair(but, I mean, nobody beats Flair[until maybe Ricky Steamboat returns from injury]).</p><p> </p><p>

Now, you raise valid and interesting points, I think I like the 'success going to his head' angle, but one thing I hadn't considered when I wrote this is his star power and national battles.</p><p> </p><p>

He's currently my highest point earner in the Star Power aspect of National Battles(even though Flair is technically more over), and I've been desperately trying to over take the WWF in this area. I feel like I have to keep him strong if I ever want to start winning the national battle.</p>

Some people on the roster I wanna repackage are Zack Ryder since I reformed his team with Curt Hawkins and had him turn heel by attacking Mojo Rawley

Starting my first cornellverse game as 21CW, finding it hard to get motivated with it, so I thought some rules might help, so who wants to give me some?

<p>So in my game Seth Rollins just beat Robert Roode at Wrestlemania 34, but I'm not exactly sure who he's going to lose it to. I feel like Summerslam will definitely be the event he loses it to, but I want to gauge other peoples opinion on the Main Eventers. Seth is a face btw and I could always make it a multiman match too.</p><p> </p><p>

Adam Cole (Heel):</p><p>

- Is the current Cruiserweight Champion, beating Kota Ibushi for the title, so it's unlikely that he will be ready in time for Summerslam as I want him to have a long reign.</p><p> </p><p>

AJ Styles (Heel):</p><p>

- Just won the MITB Contract at Wrestlemania, so it's more likely that he won't enter a feud with the champ and just cash it in. I could also have Rollins retain and AJ cashing in too.</p><p> </p><p>

Alberto Del Rio (Heel):</p><p>

- Just came back after a year away from the company, but I don't really see him being World Title material.</p><p> </p><p>

Antonio Cesaro (Heel):</p><p>

- Cesaro just came off of a 4 month IC Title reign, losing to Rusev. He's taking some time to help Chris Hero and win the Tag Titles but could easily come back up if needed.</p><p> </p><p>

Bray Wyatt (Heel):</p><p>

- Doesn't really care about titles, which is the sole reason why I haven't really given him a run with anything yet. But maybe the gold can be his medallion of power over the WWE Universe as The Wyatt Family dominates.</p><p> </p><p>

CM Punk (Face):</p><p>

- Just returned and faced Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania, I think it might be too soon to have him win the title, although next year I hope to finally give him his Mania Main Event match he dreamt of. Can also turn him Heel for that if needed.</p><p> </p><p>

Dean Ambrose (Face):</p><p>

- Dean faced off against The Authorities Triple H at Wrestlemania, and lost. I could still build him up and have a good possible storyline if needed. Ambrose starts becoming obsessed with Triple H, going to crazy lengths to get to him. So he starts acting heel, beating people up etc, and then goes after Rollins because of his past being with The Authority, turning on him. This would probably lead to an Ambrose v Triple H rematch for the title.</p><p> </p><p>

Edward Langston (Heel):</p><p>

- Since he is the bodyguard of Xavier Woods, I doubt the scenario can play out yet. But who knows.</p><p> </p><p>

John Cena (Face):- There's always my option B, Mr Cena, to get his next (and last) world title reign. He's going to win one more title and then after that he's probably going to be used sparingly, only to get another person over. I plan to have him eventually become the GM of Raw, and maybe turn heel sometime.</p><p> </p><p>

Randy Orton (Heel):</p><p>

- Randy turned ages ago, and joined up with old buddy Triple H and his authority, with Legacy lackeys Cody Rhodes & Curtis Hennig joining him. He could be the one to bring the Title back to The Authority.</p><p> </p><p>

Robert Roode (Heel):</p><p>

- Being the person that Rollins took the title off of, it's pretty unlikely he'd get it back so soon, but anythings possible.</p><p> </p><p>

Roman Reigns (Heel):</p><p>

- The shining star of The Authority, Roman reigns turned his back on the WWE Audience and became who he was supposed to be - a Megastar. Now with the backing of The Authority, can he regain his title?</p><p> </p><p>

Rusev (Heel):</p><p>

- The newly crowned Intercontinental Champion would be an unlikely option because he just won the IC Title, and with him I like to book him like a monster, dominating for months and months. </p><p> </p><p>

Sami Zayn (Face):</p><p>

- In fairness of featuring all of my Main Event scene, Sami Zayn also makes this list, despite being US Champion. I somehow doubt he'd be the one to face Rollins though, but never say never, he is the second best wrestler in the company (behind the champ).</p><p> </p><p>

Sasha Banks (Face):</p><p>

- I did away with the gender assigned titles and roles, meaning the Womens title got retired and women and men fight each other. Because of that, Sasha is a rising star in the Main Event scene, having fought her way to the top against all the men who deemed her unable to win titles just because of her gender. I think when she finally wins a singles title it will be a real feel-good moment and I want it to be at a top PPV, but I think she might not be ready yet.</p><p> </p><p>

Xavier Woods (Heel):</p><p>

- I took a really different approach with Xavier, and really do think in my game he is this generations Rock. He's great on the mic, a decent wrestler and I just think he's going to do well. So he turned heel to show off his badass attitude, and has started the 'New Nation' stable to try and be a dominant force. It's only a matter of time before he becomes WWE Champion, but I'm just not sure when.</p><p> </p><p>

So there are the options, what do you people think is the best match potential at Summerslam?</p><p>

Edit: I forgot to mention that King Of The Ring is a month before Summerslam and the winner gets to face the champ, so these people will be facing each other in the KOTR Tournament.</p>

<p>Okay so something you can do is have Bray come out and attack Seth after a match and holds up the belt saying that he has been preaching to the WWE Universe of a coming darkness for years and no one has listened to him. and he says that he needs a conduit so the fans will actually listen to him and that he will obtain the one conduit that can truly make his message spread and grow and that is the WWE title.</p><p> </p><p>

or if you want to go another direction</p><p> </p><p>

You could have Xavier say that the representative of the New Nation is Edward Langston. Langston wins the KOTR either cleanly or through Xavier helping him. here is where their are a few choices.</p><p> </p><p>

a.) have Xavier demand that Langston give him his finals spot which he does.</p><p> </p><p>

b.) have Xavier demand that Langston give him his finals spot which he doesn't and the rest of the Nation attacks Langston with Xavier filling his place at Summer slam and Langston returning there and costing him the title leading to a triple threat Rollins vs. Woods vs. Langston.</p><p> </p><p>

c.) Langston goes to the finals and wins then handing over the title to Xavier (Andre) then you have a Rollins vs. Nation feud.</p><p> </p><p>

or again Cena is always an option and you could even do a version of the Open challenge weekly.</p>

I think the real issue here is how is a buff muscle man like Orndorff supposed to fit in with a couple rough and tumble country boys like Slater and Murdoch. IIRC Gary Hart always used to call his stable Hart Enterprises. Maybe just keeping it simple like that and focusing on Gary is the best way to go here. That way folks can filter through the group as needed. As opposed to needing a new name because one of the wrestlers needed to be replaced.</p>

I can pretty regularly get B+ cards on PPVs but can never seem to crack A quality matches or an A show. I have a lot of over guys who are decent workers... What can I do to get more out of them?

Have you tried utilizing your calm the crowd, all outs, etc. IF you don't let a crowd cool down, they might become exhausted.

 

Calming the crowd is not making a match boring, but giving them a match that keeps them from doing what happened at like SummerSlam after AJ vs Cena.

How about an actual pure wrestling title? Like literally call it Pure Wrestling Championship.

I have a question. What do you do if your champion uses creative control and refuses to lose the title? I am running WWE and I recently brought back the AWA Heavyweight Championship. Initially, I had Randy Orton win it but then he was suspended for steroid abuse, so I stripped the title from him. I put the title up for grabs in a 20-man mayhem battle royal where I booked The Undertaker to win the belt. I thought it would be a good idea to build up the prestige of the belt and eventually have Taker lose it to put over a new star or something like that. I don't want to strip Taker of the belt. I want this to be natural. Do you guys have any suggestions? Also, Taker is INSANELY OVER for me. Maybe if he faced someone as over as him, he wouldn't care as much? I'm not quite sure.

Working on setting up a game as EVOLVE Pro Wrestling (a rebranded USPW to give me more freedom). I am creating an alliance which will include my two developmental companies, and maybe 3 or 4 other companies. I want to run an Alliance showcase show - should that be a separate show I run? Or should that be one of my regularly scheduled shows?

 

Meaning - I can run my 12 PPVs and then have 4 Alliance shows OR I can have 12 PPVs with 1 (or more) of those being an Alliance show.

I've used Keep Strong and Protect on him, but he still refuses to lose. I will have someone of equal pop beat him. Thanks!
