Small Questions Thread & "Living FAQ"

How do people transition from one storyline to another on the same show?

For example, last night was the blow off to Reigns-Styles but clearly marked the start of Reigns-Rollins, but you can't have someone be a Major player in more than one storyline.

I normally add the new party to the current storyline to continue it but it's a bit of momentum/success cheat.

You can either have Rollins as a minor participant in the first feud or have Reigns as a minor participant in the second then switch him to major.

Do belts cap popularity of the person holding it? I have Joel Bryant stuck at 69 pop with the International Belt (prestige at 70) and an owner goal of getting him 71. I am not sure if he's capped or if the belt is holding him back.

No they don't. It's possible he's hit his popularity cap. Go to the editor and raise his cap. Save. Then lower it back. That should break the cap.

Your momentum pay off would be smaller if you ended it before the blow off. You're giving less time for the "successes" to accumilate.

And I've heard that buy rates will be smaller if a storyline is stopped and restarted before the PPV. But I can't confirm or deny this.

As far as I'm aware there's no 'momentum payoff' on ending a storyline in 2016, storyline success/failure is just cosmetic I think.

I wasn't aware of that. If so, then please disregard what I said.

Do you just gain momentum from matches then? Or does the storyline rating play into it?

Success and defeat in angles still counts toward a worker's momentum (whether the angle is part of a storyline or not), but their overall success that's listed on the storyline page doesn't.

What is considered an attractive female? Would a rating in the 50s or 60s get me there or do we need to shoot higher to hit that magic ratio?

Sorry if I missed it, but don't think this question ever got answered pages ago and had no luck browsing through the handbook.

Does anyone know what the somewhat subjective product note means. "One attractive female per every 8 men." What is classified as "attractive" in the game? 60? Kinda hard to guess.

There's no hard cap anymore so unless he is going up and coming back down this isn't a cap. from my experience very difficult to get people above 70 from just matches, need to get him involved in high scoring angles or put him over someone with more overness.

Was this in the dev journal? I wasn't aware of this. My knowledge seems to be outdated. Seems as if I am having a rough day on the boards... :(

If I start a game with say Jerry Eisen and stay as head booker, and Richard eventually retires can I still inherit the company or do I have to apply to take it over? I have never tested this as I usually do not like being just a book when I play the large companies, but was just wondering for future reference.

There may be other effects from his age but don't want to speculate</p>
