Hi. What are people's experiences of turns? I've a worker I've been trying to turn for ages (I just run once a month, no TV) and I want my big year end show to climax with a huge angle.

The worker in question, when I check if it's too soon to turn, says Probably. Is it worth risking it? How long would you normally wait?

*I'm still on TEW2013 but that thread is without a small questions thread, so apologies.

Thanks.

Searching for teams

Is there anyway to search for teams when looking through the worlds workers? So instead of just searching for someone to hire that is oh say filtered to have good ring skills and well known in america, I want to find teams that are already together. Its easy if you know the tag teams already, but there are tons of teams out there I dont know and the only way to check is to look at one worker at a time and see if they have a team.

Do match aims factor if you do not have Perfect Show Theory enabled? I'm unsure if it is the PST or the match aims itself that are causing penalties to my matches.

For example, I booked a main event where both guys had A or A* in-ring ratings, and the match ends up a B if I use the "Epic" aim (even tho they meet all the requirements necessary) and an A if I just use the "Regular" aim. However, the only time I got the A I did not have PST enabled.

Am I suffering this penalty because of inadequate PST booking, or because of the Epic match aim itself?

Does the No Foreign Workers hiring rule work for any of you?

I'm playing a modified version of Fleisch's latest database on game version 1.31 and the promotion I've added in there is based in Canada and wouldn't hire Foreign Workers (i.e., Americans)

I've been simming as unemployed so I can see how the promotion I've added behaves when controlled by the CPU, and it keeps hiring American workers despite having the No Foreign Workers hiring rule. They hired UltraMantis Black within the first month in all three of my simulations.

So, do I understand the hiring rule wrong or should I report this as a bug?

If I have a two-brand brand split, is it more effective for my workers' popularity if I book two PPVs/events a month with one for each brand, or if I book one event a month and alternate brands (January would be A brand, February would be B brand, etc)?

Finances aren't much of an issue at the moment, just want to maximize my workers' popularity to keep up in the national races and such.

Wondering if anyone had an answer for this.

Wondering if anyone had an answer for this.

Well if a worker worked every day of the month on tv and ppv then that would obviously have their popularity shoot up quite rapidly. So it should be clear that the more a worker is exposed to an audience the more they got pop.

Has anyone tried a long-term save using Fog of War? If so, what was your experience with it? Do the scouting levels seem to progress quite nicely in v16?

Scouting levels progress depending on exposure. Therefor, If a worker spends 2 years working 5 times a month for a National promotion like SWF for example, they will be exposed quicker than if they spent 2 years only working once a month for a small promotion like MAW.

Was that your question? As a National company with a good TV/PPV deal you can reveal a workers true stats within a year (maybe less) if you use them enough.

OK my question.

If you sign a worker to a large contract (like 100k per month +) will their personal wealth in the business section evolve to being 'rich' ?

Will the goal fail if I dont resign the guy? Will it just negate? What happens?

You fail the goal. The idea is if the owner thinks highly enough of the guy that he wants you to get him over, logically he'd also want you to re-sign him, as well. The Owner AI may even step in and renew the contract itself if you try to let them go.
