I follow smaller promotions in my area all the time. Some have gotten fancy screens and portray things on it. But the old school snatching the mic from the announcers to tell your side of it hasn't gone away. They'll make challenges, talk trash on their opponents, etc. Great stuff.

To add to this, the method of distribution in game is by DVD (I guess tape in old mods)

The ones not there live can still experience the shows that way. Often with added backstage promos and the like.

Quick question:

When you are playing as a touring company, do you sometimes switch to a normal schedule? I'm asking because I'm playing as NJPW in Fleisch's April 2017 mod. NJPW in real life is basically touring all year round, but that's impossible in TEW. I'm just thinking that a normal schedule with 2 weekly events, one weekly TV-show and 2 monthly PPV's are too much for a normal schedule and would have some sort of consequence, since a normal schedule does run house shows...

I know you can tour year round with the little trick where you on the first day of the month, select the non-touring month and de-select a month before that. When the month is run, you just de-select the month that has just passed and select the month you de-selected before. That gives you 12 touring months a year.

Does anyone have any experience doing this?

No, they're still recognised by the game and by the crowd - the fans would be well aware that Kane was Fake Diesel was Isaac Yankem etc. But the game will keep track of their wins/losses under their alter ego and, of course, you may find yourself getting behind the Ultimate Warrior, rather than Dingo Warrior, Jim Justice or Rock...

Thank!

Mostly I was just wondering in the case of shared workers. Like, everyone who heard of Kimber Lee knew she was Abbey Laith (NXT), or that Mia Yim was Jade (TNA) but that was not always the case vice versa.

The downside is that if you run regular events instead of TV shows, the game will have your regular events sell out as much as it would if it was your big PPV. IE: a national company's weekly event will sell out 50K which is kind of cheese, makes a ton of money, but is unrealistic. All the more reason why adjusting your event size or having the fans get fatigued of spending that much money on big events in such a short span would be great.

Also there are no consequences to what you're thinking of doing aside from older wrestlers getting tired from overuse. But most wrestlers can do 3-4 events a week tbh, maybe just give them one day off in the week.

I've never done the deselecting thing.

So running a Normal schedule, with 2 weekly events, 1 television show and 2/3 PPV's/Major Events a month on top of house shows (since it's a normal schedule), doesn't really have any negative consequenses (besides wrestlers getting fatigued quicker), only that you make much more money?

Weekly events will make WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more money than your TV show too. Honestly, you could have 7 weeklies a week and be good. The only thing is having too many PPVs close to each other will lower your buyrates. I run 2 a month but I'm not sure if I'm risking my buyrate or not. Doesn't really say how frequent is too frequent.

Okay, cool. Thanks <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Another quick question:

Does an alliance loan work the same way as a talent trade loan? Like one appearance for one show, or for 56 days? Or does the worker in an alliance loan have to be used in next show you have?

So my second monthly event goes "out of town" to either Mexico or U.K. where I'm only a grade below my home region (Canada). I figure even if two monthly events is too much, spreading out the geography should help.

Will an active wrestler get angry if I put them in an out of ring role? RDJ started my TCW save 10 years in decline and is putting out 65-rated performances so I'd like to transition him into an authority role. What are the repercussions if I do that?

For example Jesus Chavez doesn't complain if I only use him as a manager for the other two latino kings. (now they will get rusty if they dont work for a while) So using him in angles as an authority figure should be fine

however if you "push" him as an authority figure he may not like that and complain. i dont know for sure. But you can push him as a main eventer and still just use him in angles. think of it like Kurt Angle's original run as GM
