It seems really redundant if you have a "World" title already. I equate them meaning the same thing for me. I much prefer a "United-States" type of title name.
Hashasheen
Take a look at James Casey's WCW dynasty, Bluffa. He uses it as a lower-card title with a five-defense cap before the winner gets a world title shot.
BrokenCycle
hey guys, starting what's (hopefully) gonna be my first long term c-verse game - don't really know much about the universe at all. anyways i was just wondering how you guys handle booking the TV title. do you guys book title defenses every show? i feel like i'll run through all my potential matches really quickly if i do that. i was thinking about transitioning the title into an intercontinental belt. what do you guys think? I kind of treated it as a title that I put on the guys that I start the show with-- the people in Work The Crowd matches that start the show off hot. I liked doing that because the midcard is so open, and contenders aren't in a small division like the tag titles or the Women's title or have to be popular enough to challenge for the main title. So I could have a title being defended on TV instead of burning matches for those other titles.

Matt_Black
I've been trying NOTBPW again, and it's going pretty well, or at least I can make it through the summer without dropping to Cult. I did turn off the owner goals and tweaked the product settings so that it's performance over pop instead performance way over pop.

The other thing I've done that I've found success with is bumping up production values at the start and starting a second A show on UK Broadcasting Prime.

Matt_Black
I've been playing again, and I checked out Sonny Wildside's stats, as he was putting in solid performances, and holy crap why don't more people talk about Sonny Wildside? He's got phenomenal stats for a 21 year old.

He's got phenomenal stats for a 21 year old. He is crazy good. I just signed him to my company almost 3 years in. He's only 23 and has 88 selling, 90 basics, and 88 consistency. He is primed to get a huge push.
Historian
I've been playing again, and I checked out Sonny Wildside's stats, as he was putting in solid performances, and holy crap why don't more people talk about Sonny Wildside? He's got phenomenal stats for a 21 year old. Sonny has an insane amount of potential. He also seems to be let go in a lot of other games, so he's one of those guys that when I'm a smaller company I try to pick him, but if NOTBPW holds onto him he will be a stud for them in 2020. RocheBag
Started my first C-Verse game with NOTBPW, got fired in March for falling to Cult despite constantly putting on better shows than USPW. Is there any way to win the National Battle without relying on gamey stuff like talent trades? It's weird that straight up star power counts so much more than actually putting on good shows. Blackman
What are your expectations for NOTB going into 2020? Sonny Wildside's future in NOTB should be dubious I reckon. Might get snapped up by one of the big 3. Will McFly dethrone Jeremy as the GOAT of NOTB? I've examined all the official reigns based on lenght (x months) and made this top 6: Jeremy Stone = 67 Sean McFly = 58 Dan Stone Jr = 43 Steve DeColt = 30 Dark Angel = 28 Johnny Bloodstone = 28 This means that if McFly gets one more reign in from his better half, he should at least equal Jeremy's record. Obviously Duane is going to get another reign in but is still far from cracking the top 5 with 30 months as the top dog. For the women's division - which imo doesn't exactly have the prestige it could've had - things look rather surprising: Melody Cuthill = 28 Lauren Easter = 21 Kristabel Plum = 21 Victoria Stone = 14 Junko Hayakawa = 10 Average title reign is less than half a year here, as opposed to 9 months for the men's title. I expect Lauren Easter to potentially reach Melody's record (who signed for USPW).
