You guys are blowing this way out of proportion. Adam said from the beginning that it wasn't a huge deal feature or anything groundbreaking. Getting yourself so worked up is only going to lead to disappointment.

<p>I always play as an owner but is it currently possible in TEW to go from being a Booker to owning the company? I know you can set up on your own at a certain point but can you take ownership of a company you're booking? If not then based on the la bamba clue, that's my guess for what the feature is.</p><p> </p><p>

Edit- ignore that. Just realised it can happen to a company you're not involved with so can't be that.</p>

As was made clear from the start, the hidden feature wasn't anything amazing or ground-breaking, it was just a little something I added because it would be fun to see some reactions when it happened.

 

As people are starting to get silly & aggressive about it, I'm just going to reveal it below. Spoiler: The hidden feature is an Ultimate Game Changer, which is like a regular game changer but considerably more powerful. It takes the form of a plane crash that happens to a company, killing a large proportion of their roster. A website story is generated, as are news stories that list each individual death. (This is why it was stated that it would be difficult to miss, as suddenly a large number of characters are no longer around and the company needs to go on a hiring spree.) The specifics of the feature are that it is set to happen when a new game is being created. There is a 1 in 750 chance of it happening each game. The date it happens is random and would be somewhere between the start of the third year and the end of the fifteenth year. It cannot happen to a company under Cult size. The company it affects is randomly chosen. The user character automatically survives if he is on the plane.
