Joe Sexy started a new promotion in my game but, I believe he retired first and didnt leave SWF solely to start the new promotion.

I am thinking maybe that Operation Lullaby finally does something. Ive been intrigued by the idea for awhile and hoping something comes of it.

Can't remember what iteration that started in, maybe the first. I think the only requirement is a minimum of "high" booking reputation. I don't think you can take anyone with you like you can in EWR though.

And you're right the INSPIRE promotion was formed by an exodus of talent from BHOTWG in the C-Verse. So, there's some precedent. Now imagine, an unhappy worker leaves a promotion, only to immediately start a rival company and take a bunch of (possibly unhappy as well?) workers with them. How awesome would that be?

Isn't the problem with this idea that you have to resign from a promotion first before starting your own? It would be great to be able to do the scenario you guys are playing out, but I don't see how people can "join" you if you have to quit the company all together before creating your own.

Im thinking not you the player but an unhappy worker who is a potential owner.....suddenly leaving and starting their own promotion and possibly taking a few guys...maybe they have positive relationships with....with them....its happened in real life and in game. GSW and IPW I believe as well...on a smaller extent.

Its not something that would happen alot...its like the stars would have to align but it could happen in any database.

Or hell it wouldnt even need to be exclusive to your company...

The 2 years leaves me a bit puzzled...and I feel like if Operation Lullaby actually happened someone would have spilled the beans. Also you could argue the legality of people just upping and leaving a company....especially if they are on written deals.

Yeah I was thinking it would be something that would be an "AI Exclusive" feature, so to speak. So the AI would either leave yours, or another company. The "two year" rule could be tied in to organic promotion openings? That's the only thing I can think of. Or similar to the "game changers" how Adam said there were loose time frames coded. So one in the first year then not another for 2+ years or something like that.

EDIT: And also, you do not have to resign from your promotion before starting your own. On the "Your Office" screen, the very bottom right button allows you to do just that. But as I said, I think its an AI feature as I believe its been said you don't need to be employed to experience it.
