  1. <p>Don't think I have ever released anyone yet in any games...definitely nothing significant. My number one was to tackling the Roster size has usually been opening up a Developmental Company and sending a handful of men and women down there..Gen Z...Robin Delay...Hank Gunn..ect</p><p> </p><p> Guys particularly that I probably won't use and probably will end up releasing usually have enough Popularity that needs to be siphoned off before you let them go imo.</p>
  2. Started one more game before release...that I may or may not continue post launch. Taking a bit of an aggressive approach in this game...started up a Developmental Company being booked by Joey Poison...sent a few down there just to clear up the roster..while signing a few handful of workers to fill out both rosters. I'm also a fan of changing the Match and Angle Focus to at least Regular. McFly and Jack will probably be quickly regulated to the midcard and lower...Ricky can probably fill right behind McFly in a nice feud with Price...but Knight and Vessey are the main two building blocks long term for this company. Pryce is my #1 NBT, I've never used him but that seems like someone intriguing to push. On the women's side...this is probably the best Women's Division I have played with...usually 2 or 3 will end up as a NBT or Hot Prospects...There's plenty of talent there...but just like the men you need to rely on storylines and the bigger stars and build from there. There's even plenty of talent out there if you want to bring in a few girls...hell I had one save where Higa walked out of 5SSW. To me CWA is really almost a spitting image of where AEW is now. The talent is there and mostly young, they just need a year or so to get over and improve. Although CWA's women are in a much better position. But you need storylines and you need to be advancing them...even if it's simple as using the Road Agent Note...as if the announcers would mention it. Even if you have a few low rated shows, with some kind of solid plan there's no reason why you shouldn't be in a better position in the future.
  3. <p>You really need to rely heavily on storylines. Segments that don't really advance one of them aren't going to score strong.</p><p> </p><p> As for the women...I have played almost exclusively as CWA so far in the demo and haven't really had a problem with them. They're very much like the men...use Steve and the top Women and build from there. Hell usually a few of them end up on my NBT and/or Hot Prospects. There's also plenty of talent to go out and sign and/or develop, if the current ones don't jump out to you.</p>
  4. I've always seen Jay Chord as a very exaggerated version of himself...even more of an absolute Piece of shit...inside and outside the ring...he's despicable and evil as it gets.. Gauge...really either one...I've always booked as strong heels....cocky...he's going to win and he knows it...and there's not much opponents have been able to do about it.
  5. I'm going to throw an oddball out there just because I haven't this guy mentioned really at all with 2020 being out. There needs to be a story about Davis Wayne Newton going from basically Broken as the Indy Darling of all Indy Darlings...to still unsigned by a major promotion....and now on the other side of 30.

Back in the day, Bill Watts ran a three way feud with The Freebirds v Doc & Dibiase v Skandar Akbar's Devastation, Inc. Doc & Dibiase were babyfaces. Akbar's stable were heels, and the 'Birds were heels against Doc & Dibiase, but babyfaces against Akbar et all. It's been a long time, but I think the storyline was that Akbar's guy stole the UWF title by forfeit after Gordy was injured by Doc. Opened up a lot of possibilities for matches/angles.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> You can turn the Face/Heel divide either off or Loosely Enforced in the Product page of your company.</p><p> </p><p> My games tend to run with a lot of Stables..Tag Teams...Alliances ect. Maybe not for all of them but definitely the higher up ones...I ask myself what's the point of this Stable? What do they want to achieve? The Syndicate strikes me as very Horsemen like...ie Keep/Get the title around Wolf. Where as a 2nd Gen Stable may have other goals for the time being.</p><p> </p><p> On top of that my usual go to is a Babyface Star or Stable getting caught in the middle or foreseeing the two Heel stables being on a collusion course towards each other.</p>
  7. By far by best show and may be the only one to have cracked 80. A lot seems to rely on being in a storyline...things need to have a reason for being on tv. Anyway my current thought process is Sean McFly needs to go down the card...he can't cut it at his age and in a big decline....and until David Stone is ready, I believe it's finally Donte Dunn's time to shine and can easily be pushed up the card in a few months....He's not as good as the other Big 3 at the moment but he's a good babyface to fill that void...and his ties with the DeColts/CGC/Knight give plenty of opportunity for stories. I think this would set up for a nice moment and Dunn to cement himself as a Main Eventer either at Wrestle Festival or Ultimate Showdown...possibly with a feud with Price and Elite or Cameron Vessey. Vessey needs something imo...my most likely route would be his own Stable...or possibly giving him a bodyguard. Tag Division could use one more team imo..but I tend to use a huge tag division...but I'm also not counting Jack and Ricky but that could easily be a nice direction...but I want Ricky to run with the TV Title and work with a lot of the younger undercard guys.
  8. Bob Casey and Air Attack Weasel, will always have jobs as Jobbers and Trainers in any company I play...especially if I'm running a dev company. Three managers/valets/personalities I always hire but are probably a bit more talented than normal....Haley Buck...Dharma Gregg and Sweet Tabitha.
  9. Finished 1 month....made plenty of money, roughly $500,000 and I'm happy with that...especially with the size of the roster. Didn't invest into anything just yet. Put the TV Title onto Ricky...I much prefer the potential match ups with him vs the heels than Mr. Impact holding onto the title longer.....although spamming Ricky and Jack teaming is very tempting. Really the only issue I having is my tv main events can be lackluster...although I'm really trying to build up Knight and Vessey against guys who probably aren't ready for TV Main Events. I'm so used to being able to spam either Jack/Ricky or Steve and be able to carry good/great grades and I'm just not finding that so far.
  10. Can't imagine what exactly your game looks like but if it's not to much different from the starting data I'd run with Rocky vs The Crippler...than Randy vs ZWB could be a co main event or another match on the card....than slowly eventually build to another Bumfholes match for the title down the road.
  11. Jay Silver is probably getting pushed to the moon in most of my games...19 years old but most importantly......That Render.....The Tagg Siblings look promising...Also in some game I want to push the Mercenario Brothers...probably a handful of others besides those listed already...those are just the ones off the top of my head.
  12. <p>With the Demo only covering two months it's pretty hard to tell...in 2016 and prior versions it definitely was possible but you had to play the LONG game...create talent and make stars...and start at a lower level and build from the ground up. There's plenty of talent out there but it's an investment and long term strategy.</p><p> </p><p> Also with the AI being focused this version who knows how exactly the AI works over a longer period of time.</p>
  13. No...I haven't played as much as I would like in the demo so far but everything I've seen and read looks great. In previous games the AI was pretty much in the background outside of one company usually USPW/SOTBPW taking ALL the talent. Also 2 months is hardly enough time to really evaluate the AI.
  14. I got a 74 my first show...I ain't mad. I'll probably mess around with the match and angle focus a bit..but right now I switched both of them to regular..I have yet to mess around with the financials but CWA screams to me that you should mess around with cutting a few workers or eventually open up a Dev company or relationship to take some of the people that aren't ready. Booking philosophy will be a combo of how I'd booked CGC and NOTBPW at the start of games...Spam and rely heavily on the stars....ie the DeColts.... Drake Young is great guy to push and hopefully get over...and could be a god send as a Manager. To me CWA is really in the foundation stage of building for a long term future. I see alot of similarities between them and AEW right now...incredible amount of talent..but they need to get over to really move to the next level.
  15. I enjoy the changes to the C-Verse and really the Canadian scene...really looking forward to playing with CWA. The UI I enjoy more and more I play...really just need to get used to it much like any game. And also as someone who really just lurks but I feel this needs to be said with some posts and attitudes lately....The Community...The Content creators be it Mods...Renders..Dairy Writers...ect..ect..I rarely say how much I enjoy their work and it's a larger part of what keeps me coming back.
