Probably a bit better SQ than WALTER, but like you say, bit less I the technical department. Honestly, I prefer when TVerse (or Cverse) workers don't match up perfectly with real world workers. I like them to have differences, which allows me to use them differently, simply inspired by the real world comparison rather than purely as them.</p>

Fair but I think there is more to Catch Point & Ringkampf than just technical workers. I like to take the shape & spirit of it. Catch Point would just have to be a loose unit of guys who do everything to win but don't care about being exciting. So it'd be about making sure you have guys embodying that.

In my continuous TVerse explorations: what would be a good name for a pseudo-Shield in Alejandro Iglesias, Nathan Jordan & Sean Girven?

<p>I generally like to take over a start-up promotion rather than diving into an already established promotion. The one that interests me the most is WWB. I was curious if anyone else had taken on this promotion and how you handled it. I did notice that you have to do a show in mexico in late January to keep from having your pop drop because dec 1 to april 4 is too long. </p><p> </p><p>

I've been running with one roster, but split titles. So my US, TV, Southern Tag belts only defended in US, Mexican, Mexican Tag, Trios titles only defended in Mexico.</p>

Mostly everything has been kept the same aside from re-ordering the schedule and adding a ton of titles. The schedule is the same and I haven't rushed to overload signings like I tend to do.</p><p> </p><p> But at the rate of injures I'll have to anyways. Not sure if Juro Deguchi is on time decline but at least for now he isn't top five. I moved Hall of Immortals to the start of the year so it pretty much started my file. Results weren't as outstanding as I hoped but I probably overestimate how they would do.</p><p> </p><p> Also I started playing with all the rules on. I don't usually do but I feel like it lets me book things without getting super mechanical/robotic about it which I usually have a tendency to do. Keeping things to grades, using fog of war and all that stuff does prevent me from too many signings and from just pushing guys who have the numbers for it. Also lets me focus a bit more on stories.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Hall of Immortals</strong></p><p> <strong>UPJ International Heavyweight: </strong>Kintaro Kinjo beats Erick Van Rjin - B: This was a 45 minute match I hoped would do amazing. Didn't do that great and Kinjo got annoyed by Rjin nearly botching and injuring him. Rjin got some time to do. </p><p> <strong>UPJ Japan Heavyweight: </strong>Oda Yamawaki beats Juro Deguchi - B: About 30 minutes. Oda finally gets to cement himself as a main event. Slight regrets. I want to get Deguchi a real last hurrah in the main event to get him to the Hall of Immortal (he is at 60%). </p><p> <strong>Blue Rhino Openweight: </strong>Waotaka Eda beats Takehide Harada - C+: Takehide Harada is 11 years on time decline. Sucks for him. He's only 15% to Immortal and won't make it. He took on Daijiro Otsuka as a prodigy so expect them to team. Harada will slowly get demoted to the Six-Man and veteran-centric shows.</p><p> <strong>UPJ Junior Heavyweight: </strong>Furosuto draws with Kozue - B: Originally booked for Furosuto to beat Kozue but must've forgotten to put it in so it ended up as referee stoppage and I'm not mad. I think I'll have Kozue take the title back.</p><p> <strong>UPJ International Tag Team: </strong>Goto & Kato beats Pain & Torture, Strength Ogawa & Honour Katsumoto - B-: Pain & Strength are both in time decline sadly. Kato is a star. I know the story teases you to giving him that singles run but I don't think so. I prefer the idea of making him elevate the Tag Team title into main event status. </p><p> <strong>Blue Rhino Openweight Six-Man:</strong> Aydan Farrell, Bruiser Cassidy & Des Miller beats Avalanche Miyagi , Captain UPJ & Dustin LeFever - C: Dustin LeFever was replacing injured Koji Yamada. Captain UPJ got injured. Renegades win it over the Hall of the United Throne + Dustin team. I want Dustin to win a singles title one day.</p><p> <strong>UPJ Junior Heavyweight Tag Team: </strong>Shingo Hashi & Jin Fujiwara beats Akito Nakada & Haruko Yamada - C: If only Jin Fujiwara could fly this would've done better. In any case Shingo & Jin are probably gonna face Akito & Haruko a ton. </p><p> <strong>CWT World Heavyweight: </strong>Jesse Mills beats Big Bubba - D-: Except you can't borrow titles so this was just a regular singles match lol. </p><p> <strong>Special Singles Challenge:</strong> Ram Diablo beats TOKI Ink - B-: Surprise really good match. TOKI is young lion so Ram gets the win by default. Think I made this a wild brawl but don't 100% remember. </p><p> <strong>Special Singles Challenge:</strong> Tiger Singh beats Thunder Iesada - C+: Iesada going down time decline hill. Tiger was good.</p><p> <strong>Battle Royal: </strong>Takanori Sakurai wins feat. TEMPEST Masato, Seiken Nagano and The Anomaly - C-: Seiken and TEMPEST were really mad. Would've let TEMPEST win if he wasn't a negative influence. Signed The Anomaly because of MHero. I actually wanted to bring in Graham Mackenzie to win it but forgot to grab him. Oh well.</p>

Don't you love when this happens ;( </p><p> </p><p>

I should've put my Survival of the Fittest Six-Way Match in the Main Event. I'm stupid. </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="1bbbbdb9f4f6e3403fa7ee5a4317ab14.png" data-src="https://i.gyazo.com/1bbbbdb9f4f6e3403fa7ee5a4317ab14.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

The first PPV I did with them. Getting over the B hump for grades is hard. Sebastien Curtis was the best wrestler of the night too -_- I was afraid he'd be in too steep of a time decline so I was cautious. Turns out he was great and now I need to use him at Night of Glory. </p><p> </p><p>

Wonder if I can arrange a Once in a Lifetime match with Sebastien Curtis.</p><p> </p><p>

EDIT: Tyler Mercury just got caught for roids. He is suspended and officially stripped of the PWI International title. Great stuff! Mike botched and hurt Marco so that he'd miss Night of Glory but surgery will bring him back just in time. He's probably one of my top four guys so I'm glad. I might need him for that PWI International title match.</p>

<p>It is so funny, PWI in real life would be by far my favorite company. Great characters and superior wrestling, but not Indy. Kind of like a Western NJPW. But in TEW it just does not click for me, I habe tried several times but never enjoyed playing then. </p><p> </p><p>

Energized through your post I will give them one last try...</p>

From NJPW I've grabbed the 16-man cup, and obviously the G1 Climax/Tag League. I'll likely get a 3rd show going in October on a short 3 month deal to get through two 7 man groups for each tournament. </p><p> </p><p> I keep my roster at a steady 42 to account for those last two big tournaments. <p>I am thinking about creating the NWO in HGC. I signed Buff and Tuff, and also Drake Richards. The plan is for Drake Richards to be the leader. Simply put, Buff and Tuff are Scott Hall and Kevin Nash and Drake Richards will be a Hulk Hogan type.</p><p> </p><p>

My current storylines:</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Cloud James takes on #1 Contender Caleb Adonis</strong></p><p>

(Booking wise, no way Adonis is winning the title here but it should be a fun matchup)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>King lays down the gauntlet on Hollywood</strong></p><p>

HGC starts with no storylines. So I am playing off that Hollywood has unsuccessfully challenged James for the title on 2 separate occasions, albeit in a competitive manner. After approaching Jerry King, my on-air authority figure, for a 3rd match King refused stating that he needed to earn the shot. Hollywood boasted that he is the greatest Hollywood champion in history. King then told him to prove it by beating every former Hollywood champion still on the roster. Hollywood didn't look to pleased, but finally agreed. First up is Mike Santorelli.</p><p> </p><p>

(Booking wise, I have Hollywood winning the title off James in about half a year. He needs to beat 5 or 6 guys who have held the title to get his shot at James. Should create some fresh matchups.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Herculez and Calderon brutal war</strong></p><p>

Herculez and Calderon were part of the Fatal 4-way elimination match to crown the #1 contender for the Hollywood Title. After Herculez pinned El Estandar (not sure on spelling because away from computer), Calderon rolled up Herculez for the 1,2,3. Enraged, Herculez eviscerated Calderon, making it easy for Adonis to steal the title shot. After the latest development in their feud, who knows what's next?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Riley wants revenge on Michael Anicetti</strong></p><p>

It was 4 months ago that Anicetti took a chair to the arm of Riley, and taking the HCG Hollywood Title. Now Riley is back after having surgery on his arm. Anicetti no longer has the title, but for Riley, it's more than just titles. It's revenge.</p><p> </p><p>

(Booking wise, Again, I am away from my computer so not sure how accurate the names are or even Riley's last name. All I know is Riley will be a pivotal member of the roster trying to combat my version of the NWO)</p><p> </p><p>

I have a couple low level feuds, but those are the 4 storylines I currently got going.</p><p> </p><p>

I was wondering what are generally considered the top PPVs in HCG? All the names, while not generic, look to be on the same level with no WrestleMania?</p><p> </p><p>

I am thinking about creating the NWO in HGC. I signed Buff and Tuff, and also Drake Richards. The plan is for Drake Richards to be the leader. Simply put, Buff and Tuff are Scott Hall and Kevin Nash and Drake Richards will be a Hulk Hogan type.

My current storylines:

Cloud James takes on #1 Contender Caleb Adonis

So Caleb Adonis miraculously won a fatal 4-way elimination match with a bunch of shenanigans that involved Herculez, Cordero Calderon, and El Estandar. Now he is the #1 contender but nobody is giving him any sort of shot against Cloud James.

(Booking wise, no way Adonis is winning the title here but it should be a fun matchup)

King lays down the gauntlet on Hollywood

HGC starts with no storylines. So I am playing off that Hollywood has unsuccessfully challenged James for the title on 2 separate occasions, albeit in a competitive manner. After approaching Jerry King, my on-air authority figure, for a 3rd match King refused stating that he needed to earn the shot. I have Rich and Famous penned in as the WrestleMania, and Holiday Havok as my Summerslam. The rest of the PPVs will be low-level/less important.

How deep into time decline are Buff, Tuff and Drake Richards lol? I mean they can still pass on knowledge and still have solid enough popularity I suppose. Though they might have bad personalities iirc. Vincent I. Parker and Wilson Hancock are also good alternatives to Buff/Tuff without the tag team experience.

HCG is a cool company to try as well as CWT. I actually like Caleb Adonis and usually bring him in to AWF to pair him up with Adrienne. It helps that he's a decent performer, on the verge of becoming a solid angle hand, and has the SQ. Definitely a future champion for an HCG or AWF type company.

HCG Glamour Bowl is the big event of the year. A good tip to check is either look at the most important events or click each event to see if they're the Season Finale.

EDIT: What's the NWO end goal?

<p>So I'm a few shows into a new AWF save. The absolute best part so far... renaming some of the indy talent I've signed. I typically add talent and let them keep their indy names. But the AWF seems to be moving away from that a bit (based on all the renamed talent in FAW) and its a way to switch things up. I have an edited version of the name mod that Derek B (I think it was him) did awhile back, so its helped create some great name suggestions so far....</p><p> </p><p>

I have: </p><p> </p><p>

Lawrence Wrecker - manager The Deer-Stalker</p><p>

Pressure Reeves - Scott Seal</p><p>

Rare the Undying - Fergus Storm</p><p>

Vidal Marcellin - Pierre Lejosne</p><p>

I'm gradually sending more people down to development to sharpen up. Just slowly picking whom goes down. But honestly, the WWF/E in a lot of time periods had a monstrous roster, and WCW as well through most of its history. So its nothing too abnormal lol</p><p> </p><p> Right now, Hawk is just carrying on with the Hawk'ing. Since the in-game canon doesn't really specify when his affair with Kellie went public, I'm running with the idea that it came to light fairly recently and Hawk has been talking about it in promos. Asking for privacy and the like. I don't want to go too far with the Cena-ism, having a completely split fan-base, the cheer-boo stuff, etc. But with his personal life shenanigans turning some fans against him, and he takes exception to that, it sets the stage for a potential heel turn at some point in the future. Not settled on doing it as he makes a great figurehead and will do so for a long time. But it creates a reason for it happening that can be leveraged at any time. </p><p> </p><p> The monstrous babyface is always a bit lame to me, compared to the monster heel. Especially a monster heel in a mask. My intent is to drag out Core-Cross for a bit, but build it around the idea that Cross has Core's old mask as he uses it an object of power. Not quite to the level of Paul Bearer and the Undertaker's urn. More like the mask allowed Core to unleash his most vile violent urges without restraint. Putting it back on pushes him back to those old ways, so we get one last run of old school Core. More than anything else, it sets up Cross as a manipulative and possibly insane magnificent bastard character. Taking more than a bit from The Joker, he's really just helping bring back the old Core to "unleash some chaos".... and possibly help take out some top babyfaces to help him move closer to the top. Cross is someone I would have so much fun with to write if I ever did an AWF diary project. Shades of Jimmy Havoc too.</p>

The absolute best part so far... renaming some of the indy talent I've signed. I typically add talent and let them keep their indy names. But the AWF seems to be moving away from that a bit (based on all the renamed talent in FAW) and its a way to switch things up. I have an edited version of the name mod that Derek B (I think it was him) did awhile back, so its helped create some great name suggestions so far....<p> </p><p> I have: </p><p> </p><p> Lawrence Wrecker - manager The Deer-Stalker</p><p> Pressure Reeves - Scott Seal</p><p> Rare the Undying - Fergus Storm</p><p> Vidal Marcellin - Pierre Lejosne</p><p> Screech Wildcat - Fargo Korben</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I tried finding the name mod but i could not find it.</p>

It was included as part of another mod. I wanna say it was part of Fleisch's Real World mod...? It can be imported over. I edited it a bit so that the names aren't quite as frequent, but it creates some really interesting funny combos that feel more "wrestling" than the standard names tend to. I thought Derek had created it but I could be totally wrong.</p>

Fleisch's latest real world mod has about 2,000 more names then the default TEW but I wouldn't say that the extra ones are "wrestling" names.</p>

But yeah, its Fleisch's. Dug a bit and it got added back in July. And by "wrestling name", I mean ones that deviate from normal names. Those extra names get you names like some of what I posted, and quite a few other very entertaining names that the standard name file alone doesn't. Nothing wrong with the names generated by the standard file but I just find these additions fun and entertaining.</p><p> </p><p> Some that people posted: </p><p> War Thunder </p><p> Blue Sprinkles</p><p> The Popular Ibis</p><p> Stretch Danzig</p><p> Pitch Wall</p><p> Western Oklahoma</p><p> Chop Swoop</p><p> Sunset Shout</p><p> Spring Hoot</p><p> East Slap</p><p> Practice Taunt</p><p> Pretty Spartan</p><p> </p><p> Ones with The <something> show up quite a bit, and quite often doubled so you end up with The <something> The <something>. Like The Popular The Smashing. So yeah, not all will make sense.</p>
