First time doing one of these, think we don't have one yet. feel free to delete if the search function just missed it.

I'm sort of a C-Verse nub, so anyone else with more 4C experience, feel free to expound on my impressions, and also I will blatantly steal your booking ideas lol.

4C starts with only 2 Story lines, and no requirement to make more due to the Product. They have a semi-interesting ME Storyline where Raj and Sayeed have turned on each other after failing to take the title of Frankie Dee. Also, the long time indy tag team train wreck that is Jessie and Joe Gilbert have split up, and are feuding.

So, I am about 6 months in.

I started a story line to have Sayeed, who so far has been by far my most valuable worker, take the title of Frankie with an eye towards a heel turn/ gimmick shift for Dee. Unfortunatly Sayeed decided to beat the hell out of one of the enhancement talent, and I fined him so he is in my dog house, so now plans are on hold.

For new Teams/ Signings, I grabbed Mimic and Jamie Atherlon and have been pushing them as a mid card tag team, as they work as "quasi hardyz" in 4C's product. I also took the hardcore off Nate Casino, and him and Eric Blackberry (or whatever his name is, love his gimmick that he flops out of his tights lol) as "the Gentlemen's Club" with an eye towards them getting a manager at some point, and being a trio with Nate as the gambler, erik the muscle, and the to be signed manager as the eye candy.

So far, I am getting pretty much a D or a D+ as the top I can do with the Roster, which seems to be holding us steady.

Any tips or goings on in other peoples 4C game?

No, 4C isn't a bad choice at all. I actually think it's one of the perfect starter promotions--a fairly wide-ranging product, a decent roster and not a lot of competition. I don't think a lot of people tend to book the regional scene in Canada, but 4C is one of the best promotions you can pick to start with.

4C was recommended to me as I'm completely new to TEW and so far I'm enjoying it. I've booked 3 or 4 shows so far.

I created 2 wrestlers to help me stay interested in using the C-Verse, a main event face (SF) as my company figurehead and a man event heel (TRD) as a masked wrestler.

Right now I have SF, Ali, Rajah and Frankie Dee all feuding over the main title (Which I renamed the Canadian Championship) where SF will beat Frankie Dee at the June show. I'm going to have the Gilbert's end their feud and join back together cause all their interactions against each other are scoring in the 30's. Casino will lose the Hardcore Title (Now called the TV Title) to TRD at the June show and I made a stable of Blackley, Hudson Drake and Morgan Malone along with Isabelle as their manager.

My next step is to start working on the tag division as I've almost completely ignored that so far. Waiting until I have a better grasp on 4C and TEW before I hire any other wrestlers and to see what direction I want to go in.

4C is always one of the first promotions I mess around with in the game. It's interesting to see how they've changed over the years, and seeing who stays and who goes to the big two in Canada. There's a lot of young talent there these days, so I don't have an idea of who is good there from the recent dojo grads (2010-present) yet. Probably none at this point. I feel like building up stars would be a good idea, or bringing in some new talent that can work. Raiding ACPW is an option if you want to go that route. Frankie Dee and Sayeed Ali are the cream of the crop in this promotion, but they're also the first ones poached once NOTBPW wants to expand their roster. So be prepared for that. The COTT connection is fun for all the promotions involved, and even more so with there being titles now. It's a good resource to utilize. Just don't overdo it.

Am I right in thinking that it will take years to get the promotion in a position to get any sort of broadcast deal?

The lowest requirements for a network seem to be 30 across all Canadian regions, and even running five shows a month will see very slow progress (especially as you'll be running at a loss outside the two regions where you start with a bit of pop).

<p><strong>*dusts off thread*</strong></p><p> </p><p>

So I have decided to pick TEW back up again, and wanting to not play in the USA for a change, my decision eventually landed on taking a bosh at playing with 4C. Everyone's favourite overly intense wrestling company from up-north.</p><p> </p><p>

Taking Kate Avatar, I jumped in with the immediate interest of making a womens division. And so I did, but for now i'm keeping Kate at the announce table so I can let six other ladies do their best in building up the division. Spearheaded by Emma Bitch, whom I hope will keep her issues in check.</p><p> </p><p>

I have kept most of the roster intact, gave everyone new deals so I don't have to pay them any traveling costs. And the only male competitor I signed is The Silencer, who I immediately told to get bulky, and assigned him to be Nate Ca$ino's heavy.</p><p> </p><p>

Well him being a big heavyweight paid off immediately, his Menace jumping to A* and his SQ to B+, so once he becomes better than average in the ring he's got a big push in store.</p><p> </p><p>

Going to try and keep the title on Frankie D for a while, even though he's nowhere near ideal for being the champ. Sayeed Ali going to be my go to guy to run the company, but first I am going to give him a good time putting him in hard hitting matches with the rest of the upper card, to help give him momentum and hopefully find some good matchups for when he finally gets the title back in his hands.</p><p> </p><p>

So far so good, two good events, making a profit. Time to see if I can ramp things up and hopefully improve my pop far enough i'll be able to make a leap to Cult within a few years!</p>

You should be fine with Emma, provided the overall locker room is pretty good. I've used her for numerous companies in numerous playthroughs, and I've never had a problem stemming from her past.

Now, Juliette King? That girl LOVES her the "wacky tobaccky", as it were.

Thanks for bumping this thread! Love me some 4C. I think one of the weakest areas in the roster in 2016 is the tag team division, it's quite lackluster. I recommend bringing in OMG! and The Inner City Express from ACPW to amp up the in-ring for the division. Good call on the Women's division, the bigger companies often let theirs stagnate and will let huge stars go for you to pick up after playing a few years. I also think 4C is in pretty decent shape to start running more than one show a month right off the bat, but it could be a bit of a risk.

And I also signed Jamie Atherton (w. Heather B) to hopefully make him a strong presence in the company, and most likely the eventual replacement of Frankie D as the main face of the company.</p>
