Drew McIntyre makes defence number 3 of his PSW Youth Championship title. 64

A rather comfortable night for Lance Storm. Coleman tried, but Lance had more skill and nous and rounded off a straight forward victory in 6:32 by submission with a Canadian Maple Leaf. Lance Storm has won promotion to the Premier Division in his final match of the season while Caprice Coleman must beat Colt Cabana in his final match to have any hope of avoiding relegation. 55

John Cena was very impressive in this match, entertaining the crowd, being in full control of the contest and always looking the likely winner. This turned out to be the case in 12:20 as he won by pinfall with a Spin-out powerbomb. 77

Jeff Jarrett v Jimmy Yang

Even though the action was great, the crowd reception to this grudge match was disapppointing. Yang was seeking revenge for Jarrett smashing a guitar over his head a couple of weeks ago on Weekly and Jarrett was carrying this broken guitar down to the ring.

The smart Jarrett evaded the enraged Yang in the early going and used all his cunning and experience to maintain the upper hand. Yang however got into the match late on and gained his revenge in 14:39 by pinfall with a Yang Time. 65

A keenly fought match. CM Punk was impressive in this tag match, though T. J. Perkins was really off his game.

Despite this, the champions managed to retain the titles in their first defence as Matt Sydal managed to carry the match for his team. No mean feat and it was he who got the victory in 18:18 when Matt Sydal defeated Colt Cabana by submission. To Kijar, With Love make defence number 1 of their PSW National Tag Team Championship titles. Kijar will be pleased as the champions blew kisses in celebration. 71

A hotly anticipated match that didn't disappoint. These two have been brawling over the backstage of arenas for the last couple of weeks and that intensity carried on into this match.

It was very even with the cerebral approach of Orton and the kicks and speed of RVD cancelling each other over the course of the match which went to a twenty minutes time limit draw. 77

ULTIMATE JEOPARDY FOR THE PSW NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Chris Hero (champion) v Cade Thesz (match v Rob Van Dam) v Chris Jericho (can't challenge for one year) v Christopher Daniels (his manager, with James Mitchell[/b]

A match with a huge amount at stake and the approach was initially cautious. That was until Cade Thesz and Christopher Daniels stayed true to their agreement and spent the first half hour of the match working together and hitting a large number of double team moves on their two opponents. Both men scored near falls and surprisingly, didn't try to interrupt each other's attempt at winner. Numerous times though Hero or Jericho broke up the attempt at the win.

Realising sooner or later that Thesz or Daniels would end up winning, Hero and Jericho then started to work together to regain some control of the match. This didn't last long though because as soon as Jericho hit a Lionsault on Daniels and went for a cover, Hero intervened and the two started brawling as Daniels rolled out of the ring.

Then…

Rob Van Dam came sprinting to the ring as Jericho rolled outside to brawl with Daniels. RVD slid in, nailed some stiff kicks on Cade Thesz and then hit Rolling Thunder. He slid back out and Hero made the most of it to close out the main event in 33:59 when Chris Hero defeated Cade Thesz by pinfall with a Heros Welcome. Chris Hero makes defence number 2 of his PSW National Championship title and Cade Thesz will now have to fight Rob Van Dam at Anniversary Show IX. Thesz looks both angry and anxious. 80 – match of the night
