Pro Wrestling... But Not Quite As You Know It... Continued...

Recommended Posts

<p>Well, nobody has predicted yet on my return from holiday. I'm very surprised.</p><p> </p><p>

My intention is to post the show on Monday. I need your predictions though. Here again is the prediction template. A more in depth preview of the main matches is a couple of posts above.</p><p> </p><p>

MATCHES</p><p>

Each of the following are worth 4 points per correct prediction</p><p>

PSW CONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP - Jimmy Yang (champion) v Chris Jericho</p><p>

PSW CONTINENTAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP - To Kijar, With Love (Matt Sydal & T. J. Perkins, champions) v Chicago's Finest (CM Punk & Colt Cabana)</p><p>

PSW TV TITLE - Keiji Sakoda (champion) v Chris Hero</p><p>

PSW WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP - Nora Greenwald (champion) v Trenesha Biggers</p><p>

PSW YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP - Drew McIntyre (champion) v Iven Michaud</p><p>

Team Bret (AJ Styles, John Cena & Lance Storm) v Team Sandler (Triple X (Amazing Red, Christopher Daniels & Roderick Strong))</p><p>

Jeff Jarrett v Randy Orton</p><p>

Cade Thesz v Eddie Kingston</p><p>

Pre show - Desperate Measures (Aaron Stevens & Yoshihiro Tajiri) v Londrick (Paul London & Brian Kendrick)</p><p>

Pre show - Air Paris v Joe Hennig</p><p>

Pre show - Austin Creed v Kid Kash</p><p>

What will be the match of the night?</p><p>

What will be the worst match of the night (main show only)?</p><p> </p><p>

SPECIAL QUESTIONS</p><p>

You start each of these with 10 points. If you are correct, you score the full 10 points. For each one you are out, you lose a point.</p><p>

For example the match of the night rates 92. Michgcs predicts 90 so he scores 8 (92-90=2 so he loses 2 of his 10 points, scoring 8). Kijar predicts 80 so he scores -2 (92-80=12 so he loses 2 points).</p><p>

What is the rating of the match of the night?</p><p>

How long will the main event (Yang v Jericho) last in minutes?</p>

<p>I'll admit, I just didn't want to predict first. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

I'll go for this as the less likely option, banking on Team Bret not co-existing. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

<p>PRE SHOW</p><p>

In a match that had some good action but non-existent crowd heat, Kid Kash defeated Austin Creed in 8:53 by pinfall with a Dead Level. <strong>52</strong></p><p> </p><p>

In a match that had some good action but non-existent crowd heat, Joe Hennig defeated Air Paris in 9:47 by pinfall with a Hennig Plex. <strong>58</strong></p><p> </p><p>

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Londrick defeated Desperate Measures in 10:24 when Paul London defeated Yoshihiro Tajiri by pinfall with a London Calling. <strong>71</strong></p><p>

Aaron Stevens is improving in technical skills.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>CROWNING GLORY X</strong></p><p>

Sunday, week 2, October 2010</p><p>

Live on Request TV and Sky Angel pay per view</p><p>

Announcers: Potter and Dusty Rhodes</p><p>

Charlotte Coliseum, Charlotte, North Carolina (23,780 capacity)</p><p> </p><p>

We are in Flair Country for PSW’s biggest show of the year… and the biggest show it has ever produced. Fireworks shoot off around the entrance to the arena and we are treated to a live musical performance to kick off the night’s proceedings.</p><p> </p><p>

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="<a href="https://www.youtube.com/embed/4QPU1VpPn2s" rel="external nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/embed/4QPU1VpPn2s"</a> frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe></p><p> </p><p>

Potter and Dusty Rhodes then welcome us to the Charlotte Coliseum and run through the more important matches on the card such as all the title matches, Team Bret v Team Sandler, Jeff Jarrett’s open challenge versus Randy Orton and Eddie Kingston’s quest for revenge against Cade Thesz.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/bPJZtP5.jpg</span> v <span>http://i.imgur.com/CjLYqKF.jpg</span></p><p>

<strong>Mike Quackenbush v Ricky Steamboat Jr</strong></p><p>

The action kicks off in front of the raucous crowd with a good match up between two wrestlers with contrasting status. Quackenbush has made an impressive start to life in PSW and is likely to feature in a high division of the new Grappler’s League season starting next month while Steamboat is a former Youth champion who knows he will be competing in the Second Division after winning promotion last season. An intriguing contest was anticipated.</p><p>

It was good and solid as an opener to the big show. Steamboat has youth on his side but it was Quackenbush’s experience and knowledge that won the day in this one as he took the match in 10:59 by pinfall with a Quackendriver. <strong>57</strong></p><p>

Ricky Steamboat Jr has lost his last 5 matches.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/nPWPY1b.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/i0r2qrk.jpg</span> v <span>http://i.imgur.com/aJ4jsJ0.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/9QWHGw0.jpg</span></p><p>

<strong>Havana Pitbulls v New Wave</strong></p><p>

Two decent teams squared off in the second match of the night. This match did look like it was put together to fill up the card and unfortunately it showed a little though with the two teams ranked three and four, there was actually more at stake than most fans appreciated, with a probably title shot in the near future for the victors. The action was decent but with no story or build up behind the match it lacked real intrigue and excitement.</p><p>

The former champions scored the win over a team who recently challenged the current champions in 12:06 when Austin Aries defeated Ricky Reyes by pinfall with a 450 Splash. <strong>52</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Bret Hart spoke backstage. The Director of Operations said that he was very confident he has the team tonight to get the job done over Adam Sandler’s team and he remarked that in AJ Styles, John Cena and Lance Storm he has a trio of outstanding wrestler who he trusts implicitly. <strong>79</strong></p><p>

Bret Hart struggled going off script.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/E8O0vsZ.jpg</span> v <span>http://i.imgur.com/ZpA7Z98.jpg</span></p><p>

<strong>Alex Wright v Rob Van Dam</strong></p><p>

While the previous tag team match looked like one to fill the card, this looked like a match to get Rob Van Dam on the card. Again with no build up, anticipation for this one was almost non existent other than the RVD fans (and few Alex Wright fans) got to see their men in action.</p><p>

The fans were treated to a pretty decent match and one that certainly wouldn’t make them disappear for refreshment or relief. The fans (well, the majority) also got their wish of Van Dam getting in most offence and coming away victorious in 10:46 by pinfall with a Frog Splash. <strong>65</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/kvP8A62.jpg</span> v <span>http://i.imgur.com/OvvwvTw.jpg</span></p><p>

<strong>PSW YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP</strong></p><p><strong>

Drew McIntyre (champion) v Iven Michaud</strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Michaud lost to McIntyre last month at One Step Away but earned a rematch by beating Nate Nickerson in a number one contender match on Showcase. Can he win the title this time?</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

The answer is yes he could, though the match was not as good as their one last month despite having some good wrestling action. The frustration on McIntyre’s face after losing the title was plain to see, after Michaud had claimed the gold in 12:17 by pinfall with a Scorpion Slice. Iven Michaud wins the PSW Youth Championship title. </strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>51</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong> </strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Adam Sandler comes to the ring to a largely negative response. Even so, he is smiling. He says his team tonight is a united unit, focused on defeating Team Bret. Sandler then goes on to say that wrestling fans are sick of the same old boring Bret Hart and want the excitement that Adam Sandler and Spike TV bring… and the ratings and attendances prove it. </strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>86</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong> </strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

</strong></strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/Xmbygb1.jpg</span></p><p><strong><strong>

</strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>PSW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong><strong>

Nora Greenwald (champion) v Trenesha Biggers</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

This is a very interesting match. The dominant two time PSW Women’s champion facing off the former two time WWE Women’s champion and Crowning Glory Women’s Series winner who is undefeated since arriving in PSW. This was surely going to be Greenwald’s most difficult title defence yet.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

This turned out to be true as Biggers had Greenwald in a lot of trouble. She came close to winning the title a few times. Nora kept fighting back in a decent match, though it did go on a little too long and the fans started to get restless.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Nora dug deep and managed to retain in 14:06 by pinfall with a Molly Go Round. Nora Greenwald makes defence number 6 of her PSW Women's Championship title. Still only Melissa has beaten Nora for the title so who will Nora face next? </strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>52</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Nora Greenwald has won her last 11 matches.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Trenesha Biggers’ first defeat ends her win streak at 5.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong> </strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

</strong></strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/Szxss6b.jpg</span><strong><strong> v </strong></strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/uwYtaTk.jpg</span></p><p><strong><strong>

</strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>Cade Thesz v Eddie Kingston</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Revenge was very much on Eddie Kingston’s mind as he raced to the ring and jumped Cade Thesz, unleashing an assault so vicious that Thesz backed up the ramp and looked like he was going to walk out of the match.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Thesz regained his composure though and used Kingston’s rage to his advantage by avoiding Kingston’s wide strikes and taking his opponent down.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Kingston was too hot throughout this match and as a result Thesz ensured that Kingston lost on his return from the concussion suffered at the hands of Thesz in 12:24 by submission. That’s now six wins and one defeat since Thesz returned to PSW. </strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>67</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Cade Thesz is improving in rumble skills.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong> </strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Chris Jericho came out to the ring. He talked about being “the greatest champion” taking back the Continental Championship tonight and he also accused Jimmy Yang of “making a deal with the wrestling devil” in reference to Adam Sandler recently saying on Superstars of Wrestling that the best man will win. </strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>86</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Chris Jericho worked the crowd well, improvising to his advantage.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong> </strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

</strong></strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/uPLBwEz.jpg</span></p><p><strong><strong>

</strong></strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/9OcIGLW.jpg</span><strong><strong> v </strong></strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/dHYh57J.jpg</span></p><p><strong><strong>

</strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>PSW TV TITLE</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong><strong>

Keiji Sakoda (champion) v Chris Hero</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Sakoda has been very impressive as champion since winning the title from the new Youth champion Iven Michaud. In the number one contender Chris Hero, this is arguably his toughest challenger since becoming champion.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

It was a very even match, each man scoring a number of near falls, having spells of dominance in the match and making come backs. Ultimately, Sakoda’s impressive run as champion did come to an end in 16:19 by pinfall with a Heros Welcome. Chris Hero wins the PSW TV Title and becomes the first three time TV champion. </strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>61</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Keiji Sakoda’s win streak ends at 6.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Keiji Sakoda has had 50 singles matches in PSW.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong> </strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

</strong></strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/UkFZwMh.jpg</span><strong><strong> v </strong></strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/O1r21q7.jpg</span></p><p><strong><strong>

</strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>Jeff Jarrett v Randy Orton</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Orton wiped Jarrett’s cocky and smugness off his face when he answered Jarrett’s open challenge, only for Jarrett to blast him with a guitar on Superstars of Wrestling last week. Orton is clearly feeling that still, as he had a bandaged head that he was favouring all match.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

The match turned out to be a disappointment. While the action was decent enough, there have been better matches earlier on the card by supposed inferior wrestlers, certainly who aren’t as big names as Jarrett and Orton. Who’s, if any, fault this was was unclear. What was clear is that Orton had answered Jarrett’s open challenge, absorbed his best guitar shot and then defeated him in 13:41 by pinfall with an O-Zone. </strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>55</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong> </strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Backstage and Jimmy Yang is standing with his plethora of championship belts round his waist, over his shoulders and in his hands, including of course the PSW Continental Championship. Yang says he is “the champion of champions” and he has no intention of losing the PSW Continental Championship tonight. He also accuses his opponent of striking a deal with Adam Sandler, but he warns Jericho even that won’t help him to take the title. </strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>80</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong> </strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

</strong></strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/J27bmSW.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/ILiAcXw.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/AviG0jh.jpg</span><strong><strong>with</strong></strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/eT4x0b0.jpg</span><strong><strong> v </strong></strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/czcWV48.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/HkBJgVF.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/dA3mXdo.jpg</span><strong><strong>with</strong></strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/tdjGkME.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/Uyg0Xwr.jpg</span></p><p><strong><strong>

</strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>Team Bret (AJ Styles, John Cena & Lance Storm with Bret Hart) v Team Sandler (Triple X with Adam Sandler and James Mitchell)</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

This match was a recipe for chaos and that’s exactly what we got with plenty of illegal moves, illegal men in the ring and distractions from the three men at ringside. Unfortunately this kind of mayhem does not go down well with most PSW fans so the match was not well received on the whole.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

It was chaos that determined the match. With Bret Hart, Adam Sandler and James Mitchell frequently interjecting themselves into the match and all six men brawling in and around the ring, referee Bruce Gray decided enough was enough, he was never going to get full control of the match and threw it out in 18:12. All that achieved was settling nothing in the feud between Bret Hart and Adam Sandler and causing more displeasure in the crowd. </strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>55</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Roderick Strong is improving in rumble skills.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong> </strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

</strong></strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/7bp4aGE.jpg</span></p><p><strong><strong>

</strong></strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/BtxWjf5.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/YOMTZVY.jpg</span><strong><strong> v </strong></strong><span>http://i.imgur.com/UvNhlpd.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/YWb2MWU.jpg</span></p><p><strong><strong>

</strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>PSW CONTINENTAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong><strong>

To Kijar, With Love (champions) v Chicago’s Finest</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Since coming together, To Kijar, With Love have been an outstanding team and tremendous champions. They have beaten all before them, except a controversial handicap match against Chris Jericho. Chicago’s Finest meanwhile have been champions before and after a slump have recovered to win the Crowning Glory Tag Team Series. This match promised much.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

It delivered, blowing everything else earlier in the night out of the water. The action was great and was just the pick me up the crowd needed after the mess that was the six man tag team match before. It went on for a while, but kept bums on the edge of seats throughout. The action was a spot on mix of intensity and fast pace.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

And the challengers won. Chicago’s Finest got back on top of the mountain and in doing so became the first tag team to defeat the champions in 23:14 when CM Punk defeated T.J. Perkins by submission with an Arm Triangle Choke. Chicago's Finest win the PSW Continental Tag Team Championship titles. Relief and delight for the new champions… disappointment and a reality check for the now former champions. </strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>84 – match of the night</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong> </strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

</strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>PSW CONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong><strong>

“The Champion of Champions” Jimmy Yang (champion) v “The Greatest Champion” Chris Jericho</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Much has been made of the fact these two wrestlers are great champions and deservedly so. Jericho past, Yang present and both future. Often monikers are chosen by or given to wrestlers that are exaggerations. Few people can argue that these are befitting. A great match was anticipated where the best man would win. However, there was a cloud hanging over the main event and possibly the biggest match in PSW history… Adam Sandler’s statement four weeks ago that he “will make sure the right man wins”.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

What followed was around forty minutes of wrestling excellence, a contest that would have graced any wrestling show ever put on and deserved it’s place there. It was the three or four minutes of carnage that tarnished what would have been one of, if not the best PSW match ever.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

It started when referee Bruce Gray took an inadvertent bump. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time, being in the way of a double drop kick that Yang had Jericho had intended for each other. In the immediate aftermath, Jericho tossed Yang to the outside of the ring and checked on the referee.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

This prompted Adam Sandler to race down to the ring with all three members of Triple X in tow and James Mitchell following behind. Amazing Red, Christopher Daniels and Roderick Strong rolled into the ring and unleashed an unrelenting three on one assault on Chris Jericho all while Jimmy Yang was on the floor at ringside and not knowing what was going on in the ring. Amidst this confusion, Adam Sandler was ‘caring’ for the downed official and revived Bruce Gray. As Gray was coming too, Triple X rolled back out of the ring and escape through the crowd with James Mitchell.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Yang, oblivious to everything that had transpired rolled back into the ring himself. Seeing Jericho down and thinking it was down to the accidental collision between the two wrestlers and the referee, he did what anybody else would have done and closed out the match in 43:50 by pinfall with a Yang Time. Jimmy Yang makes defence number 4 of his PSW Continental Championship title but looked very confused as to why celebrating with his championship belt was drawing a loud chorus of boos and trash being thrown into the ring. </strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>83</strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Jimmy Yang is improving in technical skills.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Jimmy Yang has won his first 11 matches in PSW.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

Chris Jericho’s winning streak ends at 8.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong> </strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>

<strong>PSW SUPERSTARS OF WRESTLING</strong></p><p>

Monday, week 3, October 2010</p><p>

Broadcast on Spike TV on Tuesday late night</p><p>

Announcers: Potter & Dusty Rhodes</p><p>

Carmichael Auditorium, Chapel Hill, North Carolina (8,010 capacity)</p><p>

A familiar scene as Adam Sandler and Bret Hart start the first PSW Superstars of Wrestling after Crowning Glory X arguing with each other, this time over the fact that their team should have won at last night’s big show and that they are the right man to take PSW forward.</p><p>

Then “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH” is heard from the announce table as PSW owner Potter is standing up. It’s enough to silence Adam and Bret and they both turn to look at Potter. He says he is sick to the back teeth of the two of them every week. He says there will be a rematch from last night between Team Bret and Team Sandler… but that’s not all… this time it will be no disqualification, we will have a winner… and that Bret Hart and Adam Sandler will each have to find two more men as it will be five on five… and that the Director of Operations position is on the line. If Team Bret wins, Bret remains Director of Operations and Adam Sandler is gone… if Team Sandler wins then Adam Sandler is the new Director of Operations. Sandler and Hart stare at each other with a mixture of glee and trepidation. <strong>67</strong></p><p>

Adam Sandler was fantastic.</p><p>

Potter was dreadful and looks very stale.</p><p> </p><p>

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Petey Williams defeated Eddie Colon in 7:34 by pinfall. <strong>51</strong></p><p>

Eddie Colon was off his game.</p><p> </p><p>

Backstage and Bret Hart walks into the men’s locker room. He sees Chris Jericho and asks him if he will be the fourth man on his team. Without hesitation Jericho accepts, saying Adam Sandler needs to pay for what he has been doing both to “The Greatest Champion” and to the legend of Bret Hart. <strong>79</strong></p><p>

Bret worked the crowd well and is showing more charisma.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>GRAPPLER’S LEAGUE THIRD DIVISION QUALIFIER</strong></p><p><strong>

Nate Nickerson v Reckless Youth</strong></p><p>

This match has come about due to both Nickerson and Youth being tied in the rankings. The winner goes into Grappler’s League Third Division and the loser into the new Conference.</p><p>

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Reckless Youth defeated Nate Nickerson in 8:37 by submission with a Stretch Plum. <strong>49</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Backstage and Adam Sandler recruits Jeff Jarrett for his team tonight. Jarrett is happy to help out a “Hollywood legend”. <strong>68</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Chris Hero (champion) v Keiji Sakoda</strong></p><p>

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Chris Hero defeated Keiji Sakoda in 9:40 by pinfall with a Heros Welcome. Chris Hero makes defence number 1 of his PSW TV Title title. <strong>60</strong></p><p>

Chris Hero has won 50 singles matches in PSW.</p><p> </p><p>

Bret Hart and Chris Jericho are backstage and they meet “The Champion of Champions” Jimmy Yang. Bret tells Yang he wants him as his final member of his team tonight. Yang accepts saying it will be an honour to represent Bret Hart. Jericho questions Bret’s judgement, citing last night when Triple X and Adam Sandler hit the ring and helped Jimmy Yang to retain the title over him, saying Jimmy Yang is Adam Sandler’s “Right Man”. Bret calms Jericho down, saying he has everything under control and Yang did not know what had happened last night. <strong>77</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>CM Punk (Continental Tag Team champion) v T. J. Perkins</strong></p><p>

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, CM Punk defeated T.J. Perkins in 10:58 by submission with an Arm Triangle Choke. <strong>70 – match of the night</strong></p><p>

T. J. Perkins’ win streak ends at 6.</p><p> </p><p>

In his office, possibly for the final time, is Bret Hart. The Director of Operations announces that the Grappler’s League fifth season starts next month and the new Conference league begins below the Third Division as well as the First Division expanding to ten wrestlers. As a result, fourteen new wrestlers join the Grappler’s League and the full divisions will be posted on psw.com after the show. <strong>72</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>FOR THE ROLE OF DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS</strong></p><p><strong>

NO DISQUALIFICATION</strong></p><p><strong>

Team Bret (AJ Styles, Chris Jericho, Jimmy Yang (Continental champion), John Cena & Lance Storm, with Bret Hart) v Team Sandler (Triple X & Jeff Jarrett, with Adam Sandler & James Mitchell)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Who is Adam Sandler’s fifth man? We are about to find out…</p><p> </p><p>

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="<a href="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Ybduom-Adss" rel="external nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/embed/Ybduom-Adss"</a> frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <strong>61</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Cade Thesz comes striding to the ring with purpose. He is on a huge roll in PSW and him joining Team Sandler makes them stronger.</p><p>

The expected aminosity between Jericho and Yang never came about as the two actually displayed good teamwork, which came about when Yang unselfishly tagged Jericho into the match and the two were on the same page.</p><p>

Bret Hart, Adam Sandler and James Mitchell all provided distractions at ringside while there were numerous double and triple teams even without a legal tag.</p><p>

However, there was one man not on the same page as the rest of his team and the shocking turn of events led to the conclusion of the match in 15:18. With Jimmy Yang in control of the match, John Cena climbed into the ring, clubbed him from behind and then hit a STFU on the champion before leaving. With the rest of Team Bret aghast and shouting at the departing Cena (except Lance Storm who was out on the arena floor), Cade Thesz took full advantage to defeat Jimmy Yang by submission. Adam Sandler is the new Director of Operations! <strong>69</strong></p><p>
