PSW SUPERSTARS OF WRESTLING

Monday, week 4, October 2010

Broadcast on Spike TV on Tuesday late night

Announcers: Potter & Dusty Rhodes

Bowen Field House, Ypsilanti, Michigan (5,400 capacity)

<img alt="bowen-field-house-10c2936c-fe51-4a47-aa72-9ed15604d19-resize-750.jpeg" data-src="https://alchetron.com/cdn/bowen-field-house-10c2936c-fe51-4a47-aa72-9ed15604d19-resize-750.jpeg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Bret Hart starts the show in the ring, looking genuinely upset with a tear in his eye. The now former Director of Operations addresses the crowd, saying he had a great time in PSW and it was his honour to serve the great fans as Director of Operations but all great things come to the end and he has been forced out by a low life scum and it is time to say goodbye.

That comment brings out the new Director of Operations Adam Sandler. Sandler tells Bret Hart he is not going anywhere as he still has a contract with PSW. That brings a cheer from the crowd, which turns to boos when Adam Sandler says that Bret’s contract does not state what he has to do in PSW, so as his boss, Adam Sandler instructs Bret Hart to take out the trash from the backstage area as all the trash cans need emptying. Bret is furious but it appears he can do little about it as he trudges backstage. 84

Jay Lethal v Reckless Youth

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Reckless Youth defeated Jay Lethal in 9:01 by submission with a Stretch Plum. 52

The two have good chemistry which lifted the match.

Reckless Youth has won his last 5 matches.

Chris Jericho meets the Continental champion Jimmy Yang in the locker room. Jericho tells Yang it is not often he is wrong, but he was about not being able to trust Yang. He says he has reviewed footage from Crowning Glory X and knows how that Yang had nothing to do with “being the right man” for Adam Sandler and that Sandler and the fellow Triple X low lifes are to blame for everything, along with that “no good bitch” John Cena. Yang says he will make Cena pay tonight for playing his part in forcing out Bret Hart, then Yang suggests they take out Triple X. Jericho is only to happy to oblige. 66

Jimmy Yang is showing more charisma.

http://i.imgur.com/QO0Pke5.jpg v http://i.imgur.com/fK1zfbE.jpg

Nate Nickerson v Super Dragon

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Nate Nickerson defeated Super Dragon in 9:04 by pinfall. 45

Super Dragon has lost his last 8 matches.

Adam Sandler strides to the ring, with Triple X in tow along with Cade Thesz and John Cena. Notable by his absence is James Mitchell. The group all climb into the ring.

Sandler says that last week was brilliant, he is the new man in charge and ratings are going through the roof. He says the dinosaur Bret Hart is doing jobs more accustomed to his age and skill set. He then says you may notice that one man is missing from Triple X. James Mitchell has decided he has had enough and has left the group. So change is happening now and it is happening fast.

http://imgur.com/2OcxRsP.jpg

With that, BG James walks down the aisle and climbs into the ring. He says Triple X need proper direction, not an old man with dated ideas of leading a cult. BG says Triple X are no more but the group will remain and he introduces his new comrades as The Outlaws. They will do what they want when they want and Adam Sandler is all smiles in the corner of the ring.

There is one more thing says BG James and he says “Let’s get him boys”. With that BG James, Amazing Red, Christopher Daniels, Roderick Strong as well as Cade Thesz launch a vicious five on one attack on John Cena which leaves him battered, bruised and lying on the canvas. Adam Sandler stands over the fallen Cena laughing, fake crying and mocking him by asking “Won’t anyone help you John? Do you have no friends?” Sandler and The Outlaws have used John Cena and now he is an outcast… and is Cade Thesz now an Outlaw? 42

BG James has debuted with an Outlaw gimmick, rated 44.

Amazing Red looked lost.

Roderick Strong under performed.

Cade Thesz looked good.

PSW TV TITLE

Chris Hero (champion) v Joey Matthews

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Chris Hero defeated Joey Matthews in 7:47 by pinfall with a Heros Welcome. Chris Hero makes defence number 2 of his PSW TV Title. 62

We are in the back of the arena, in a dark corner with somebody holding a torch under their chin. It’s hard to make him out, though when he speaks, it becomes obvious who it is.

http://imgur.com/aCYQLRH.jpg

Raven talks about dark times in PSW and when the dark times are here it is when Raven comes to play. He talks about unsavoury characters flock to him looking for leadership in troubled times and he is the man to lead them through the darkness and to find their true belonging. He says it is time for Raven to find the true path for PSW’s damaged souls.

Raven makes no reference to who he is talking about and aside from Raven appearing in PSW, his promo of riddles leads to questions as to what he will do. 61

Raven debuts with a Mysterious gimmick, rated 43.

http://i.imgur.com/UkFZwMh.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/AviG0jh.jpg v http://i.imgur.com/2G1YSwu.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/Y1bA5T6.jpg

Jeff Jarrett & Lance Storm v Londrick

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Londrick defeated Jeff Jarrett and Lance Storm in 11:10 when Paul London defeated Jeff Jarrett by pinfall with a London Calling. 60

Adam Sandler is seen getting comfortable behind his desk in his office as the new Director of Operations. He straights his tie and looks directly at the camera. He says that as a reward for pinning the champion in last week’s ten man tag team match, Cade Thesz will get a shot at Jimmy Yang’s Continental Championship at Code of Honour. This move smacks of favouritism. 78

The performance of Adam Sandler was good.

http://i.imgur.com/PUzR5wO.jpg v http://i.imgur.com/ILiAcXw.jpg

NON TITLE MATCH

Jimmy Yang (Continental champion) v John Cena

Cena was clearly affected by the five on one assault he was the victim of earlier in the match. Even so, he fought valiantly and surprisingly perhaps there was no outside interference and not even The Outlaws, Cade Thesz or Adam Sandler showed up at ringside.

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Jimmy Yang defeated John Cena in 18:23 by pinfall with a Yang Time. 68

The two have great chemistry and it showed in their performances.

A lack of psychology harmed the match.

Jimmy Yang has won his first 12 singles matches.
