Nobby_McDonald
PRE SHOW In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Roderick Strong defeated Joe Hennig in 8:53 by pinfall with a CX 02. 55 In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Air Paris defeated Austin Creed in 8:44 by submission. 58 <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/VvuBx7iwD0U" frameborder="0" gesture="media" allow="encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe> PSW SUPERSTARS OF WRESTLING Monday, week 1, November 2010 Broadcast on Spike TV on Tuesday late night Announcers: Potter & Dusty Rhodes Holmes Center, Boone, North Carolina (8,325 capacity) We start the show at the entrance to the arena. A bruised John Cena (following last week’s attack) arrives in his car and parks up. He enters the arena and cameras follow him. Various wrestlers are backstage and John Cena greets them, only to get shunned by them all, from the like s of Rob Van Dam and Lance Storm and even the first Potter Wrestling Academy graduate Leon Patterson won’t even give Cena the time of day. Cena looks distressed and upset by this. His actions two weeks ago have clearly lost him a lot of friends. 44 http://i.imgur.com/i0r2qrk.jpg v http://i.imgur.com/fK1zfbE.jpg GRAPPLER’S LEAGUE SECOND DIVISION Rocky Romero v Super Dragon It’s the first Grappler’s League match of the new season. In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Rocky Romero defeated Super Dragon in 7:50 by pinfall. 55 Rocky Romero is improving in rumble skills. Super Dragon has lost his last 9 matches. We are now in the basement of the building. There we see Raven, sitting on the floor in the shadows, his back against the wall. He talks about providing salvation. He says he provides salvation to those with dark souls and those in dark times. He says he will save them. 55 http://i.imgur.com/jVJpf2a.jpg v http://i.imgur.com/bPJZtP5.jpg GRAPPLER’S LEAGUE FIRST DIVISION Aaron Stevens v Mike Quackenbush In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Mike Quackenbush defeated Aaron Stevens in 8:15 by pinfall with a Quackendriver. 63 Mike Quackenbush is improving in technical skills. Bret Hart is backstage. He is sweeping the corridors. Adam Sandler then walks by. He tells the legend he is not happy with his sweeping, and points to an area Hart has not yet done. He says buck up or else. Bret looks like he wants to beat Sandler up as well as being thoroughly miserable. 84 http://i.imgur.com/uPLBwEz.jpg http://i.imgur.com/dHYh57J.jpg v http://i.imgur.com/Yz4LYPg.jpg PSW TV TITLE Chris Hero (champion) v Kid Kash In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Chris Hero defeated Kid Kash in 12:25 by pinfall with a Heros Welcome. Chris Hero makes defence number 3 of his PSW TV Title. 63 Chris Hero has won his last 5 matches. A table is set up in the ring with four chairs. Director of Operations Adam Sandler walks to the ring, and tells Chicago’s Finest and To Kijar, With Love to get to the ring. The two teams do, and sign a contract for their rematch at Code of Honour. Each team say they are the better team and will leave with the titles but the event passes peacefully. Until Adam Sandler remarks “this is boring” which prompts all five members of The Outlaws to run to the ring and a five on four beatdown ensues. BG James, Amazing Red, Christopher Daniels, Roderick Strong and Cade Thesz stand over the fallen champions and challengers. 55 Adam Sandler looked excellent. Yoshihiro Tajiri was very underwhelming. Following a commerical break, Amazing Red and Christopher Daniels have remained in the ring with BG James at ringside. http://i.imgur.com/aJ4jsJ0.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/9QWHGw0.jpg v http://i.imgur.com/czcWV48.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/HkBJgVF.jpgwithhttp://imgur.com/2OcxRsP New Wave v The Outlaws (Red & Daniels, with BG James) In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Triple X 2 defeated New Wave in 13:02 when Christopher Daniels defeated Austin Aries by pinfall with a Last Rites. 62 Chris Jericho meets Bret Hart backstage, who is still holding the broom. Jericho consoles Bret, saying he did everything he could. Hart says he knows he did. Jericho said he was wrong about Yang and that he can’t believe John Cena did what he did, calling him a rotten scumbag. Bret agrees but sighs a disheartened sigh. Both agree on their anger at Cena. 75 Bret Hart was very poor improvising dialogue. http://i.imgur.com/PUzR5wO.jpg v http://i.imgur.com/O1r21q7.jpg GRAPPLER’S LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION Jimmy Yang (Continental champion) v Randy Orton In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Jimmy Yang defeated Randy Orton in 18:24 by pinfall with a Michinoku Driver II. 80 – match of the night Jimmy Yang has won his first 13 matches.
