I think for Lethal you just pick two guys, and if either of them wins you get 4 pts, if either of them is the Runner-Up you get 2 pts, if one or both are in the Final 4 you get 1pt each for that, or if they don't qualify you lose 2 points for each/either one.</p>

<strong>LETHAL TAG TEAM QUALIFIER 1</strong></p><p><strong>

Stu Sanders & Kid Kash v Petey Williams & ‘Bad Ass’ Drew McIntyre</strong></p><p>

With Bret Hart now behind the announce table, we no longer have Bret’s balls bag making an appearance and the random draw no longer takes place on the stage. Instead the wrestlers are announced as they come out by the ring announcer for the five tag team qualifying matches.</p><p>

The first match is a decent contest and features four wrestlers from four different nationalities as England and USA team up to take on Canada and Scotland. A tight match was decided in 7:36 when Drew McIntyre defeated Stu Sanders by pinfall with a G-Spot. <strong>59</strong></p><p>

Stu Sanders is improving in technical skills.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>LETHAL TAG TEAM QUALIFIER 2</strong></p><p><strong>

Mike Quackenbush & ‘The Perfectionist’ Jimmy Yang v Ricky Reyes & Keiji Sakoda</strong></p><p>

Yang and Sakoda would have made a formidable team had they been drawn together, but they have been drawn on opposing sides as the next four men try to qualify for the Lethal Battle Royal.</p><p>

Yang and Sakoda were the better men on their teams and it was the former Continental champion who turned out to be the difference maker in 9:45 when Jimmy Yang defeated Ricky Reyes by pinfall with a Yang Time. <strong>64</strong></p><p>

Mike Quackenbush is improving in performance skills.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>LETHAL TAG TEAM QUALIFIER 3</strong></p><p><strong>

‘The Greatest Champion’ Chris Jericho & Eddie Kingston (Youth champion) v ‘The Outlaws’ Christopher Daniels & Roderick Strong (with BG James)</strong></p><p>

A huge advantage for The Outlaws as two of their three men in Lethal are drawn together, much to the delight of gang leader BG James. Intriguingly, nemesis Chris Jericho is on the opposing side of the ring with arguably the weakest man in the match, Youth champion Eddie Kingston.</p><p>

As expected, The Outlaws slowed slick team work and used this to dominate much of the match over Eddie Kingston. Jericho got the hot tag, and looked like he was going to take out The Outlaws only for to be blind sided by BG James behind referee Joe Hempel’s back. Jericho had to tag Kingston back in and this was the beginning of the end as The Outlaws qualified in 11:40 when Christopher Daniels defeated Eddie Kingston by pinfall with a Last Rites. Jericho did not look happy at all. <strong>68</strong></p><p>

Roderick Strong is improving in rumble skills.</p><p> </p><p>

Kevin Steen is backstage. He briefly comments that he is enjoying watching the Lethal qualifying matches, but his bigger focus is on the main event where he defends his Continental Championship against Randy Orton. Steen says he is the first former Youth champion to win the Continental Championship and he says he is the first man to win the Grand Slam of all four male titles in PSW. Steen says he is ready for his first title defence and is going to walk out tonight still the champion because he is ‘Grand Slam’. <strong>48</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>LETHAL TAG TEAM QUALIFIER 4</strong></p><p>

‘The Informer’ Chris Hero & Reckless Youth v ‘Highlight Reel’ Rob Van Dam & ‘The Outlaw’ Cade Thesz (with BG James)[/b]</p><p>

Hero and Youth looked up against it against a mouth watering team of RVD and Thesz, former mentor and student and Continental Tag Team champions.</p><p>

Although RVD does not like The Outlaws, he put personal opinions to one side and got down to business, and this turned out to be the most one sided contest of the five qualifiers. Hero fought hard but RVD and Thesz were too good, especially for Hero’s partner Reckless Youth. RVD and Thesz advance in 11:37 when Cade Thesz defeated Reckless Youth by pinfall. Following the match. Thesz attacked RVD from behind and left him lying on the canvas as he and BG James celebrated the win. <strong>64</strong></p><p>

Chris Hero and Reckless Youth showed excellent chemistry.</p><p>

<strong>LETHAL TAG TEAM QUALIFIER 5</strong></p><p><strong>

Alex Wright & Air Paris v Rocky Romero & Joe Hennig</strong></p><p>

Four of the less fancied wrestlers drawn together in the final match and a great opportunity for two of the underdogs to advance to the battle royal later on tonight.</p><p>

It was a close contest with some decent action between a mix of styles. Rocky and Hennig qualified in 10:53 when Joe Hennig defeated Air Paris by pinfall with a Hennig Plex. <strong>53</strong></p><p>

Alex Wright is improving in rumble skills.</p><p> </p><p>

Randy Orton is in the backstage interview area. He warns Steen not to be so confident of keeping the title tonight as Orton says he is a dangerous man who can strike at any time. Orton also says he has been the champion before, and he wants it again. <strong>53</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>PSW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP</strong></p><p><strong>

Beth Phoenix (champion) v Amazing Kong v Nikita</strong></p><p>

Power versus sheer size versus smarts in an interesting three way Women’s Championship match. Kong and Nikita earned the championship opportunity by surviving the Women’s Ultimate Battle for Survival back in January.</p><p>

In the end neither Nikita’s smarts nor Phoenix’s raw power were enough to overcome the sheer size of Kong as she wins, finally some would say, the PSW Women’s Championship. The end of the match came in 12:12 when Amazing Kong defeated Beth Phoenix by submission. Amazing Kong wins the PSW Women's Championship title. <strong>49</strong></p><p>

Beth Phoenix’s win streak ends at 6.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>PSW CONTINENTAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP</strong></p><p><strong>

Chicago’s Finest (champions) v To Kijar With Love</strong></p><p>

As they made their way down the aisle, Matt Sydal and T. J. Perkins were arguing, seemingly apparent that T. J. Perkins was not happy with Matt Sydal for talking him out of entering Lethal and instead challenging for the Continental Tag Team Championship.</p><p>

Despite their argument, the two teamed very well as part of a great Continental Tag Team Championship match. Chicago’s Finest won the titles from To Kijar With Love back at Crowning Glory X in October last year and then won the subsequent rematch at Code of Honour. This time the result was reversed and we have our second new champions of the night in 18:55 when Matt Sydal defeated Colt Cabana by submission. To Kijar, With Love win the PSW Continental Tag Team Championship titles. <strong>73</strong></p><p>

Chicago’s Finest winning streak ends at 8.</p><p> </p><p>

Chris Jericho is lurking ominously around the entrance to the arena. He expresses his anger at what happened earlier, suggesting the draw was rigged and that BG James interfered and cost him a chance of winning Lethal. Jericho finishes by saying they haven’t heard the last of it.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/572X7um.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/kvP8A62.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/bPJZtP5.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/PUzR5wO.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/HkBJgVF.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/dA3mXdo.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/ZpA7Z98.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/Szxss6b.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/i0r2qrk.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/y5FwT8t.jpg</span></p><p>

<strong>LETHAL BATTLE ROYAL</strong></p><p><strong>

Winner earns Continental Championship match at Anniversary Show X in May.</strong></p><p><strong>

Petey Williams, ‘Bad Ass’ Drew McIntyre, Mike Quackenbush, ‘The Perfectionist’ Jimmy Yang, ‘The Outlaw’ Christopher Daniels, ‘The Outlaw’ Roderick Strong, ‘Highlight Reel’ Rob Van Dam, ‘The Outlaw’ Cade Thesz, Rocky Romero and Joe Hennig</strong></p><p><strong>

At ringside: BG James</strong></p><p>

Ten men stand in the ring. In a little while only one will be leave and will have a championship match in two months at PSW’s annual birthday show.</p><p>

There were a couple of early eliminations as Petey Williams was thrown out by Christopher Daniels and Rocky Romero was disposed of by Jimmy Yang.</p><p>

Mike Quackenbush did last too much longer as Rob Van Dam kicked his face out of the ring. Joe Hennig soon followed, a second elimination for Jimmy Yang.</p><p>

Former Youth champions Drew McIntyre and Roderick Strong then battled, a battle McIntyre lost when Strong’s fellow Outlaws came over to assist and the three of them hauled McIntyre out over the top rope. We were down to five – Rob Van Dam, Jimmy Yang and all three of the Outlaws. RVD and Yang stood on one side of the ring, the three Outlaws on the other...</p><p>

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="<a href="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Zh6vgNiekaA" rel="external nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/embed/Zh6vgNiekaA"</a> frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe></p><p>

Chris Jericho came sprinting to the ring, slid under the bottom rope, ran straight past Yang and RVD and straight into Roderick Strong. His attack was so ferocious that Strong went hurtling over the top rope and out. Jericho wasn’t done, as he then went after Christopher Daniels. He unleashed a vicious attack on the other Outlaw than beat Jericho in the tag team match and it was only when a bevvy of security men ran into the ring was he pulled off. Among the confusion of the security escorting a still angry Jericho out of the ring, Jimmy Yang eliminated Christopher Daniels, spotted by the only referee not involved in getting Jericho out Bruce Gray and much to the chagrin of BG James.</p><p>

Now the odds instead of being massively for The Outlaws were massively against as Cade Thesz was facing Jimmy Yang and the qualifying partner he attacked post match Rob Van Dam. RVD suggested to Yang that they team up and Yang agreed. This worked well for a minute and some how Thesz hung in there. However, when Yang was holding Thesz for Van Dam to spring off the ropes and nail a kick, Thesz ducked and it was Yang who was hit and sent sprawling over the top rope.</p><p>

Thesz and Van Dam were left, both men tired from their exertions tonight. A weary battle ensued between former mentor and student and to the surprise of many though certainly not The Outlaws, it was Cade Thesz who triumphed by clotheslining Van Dam out over the top rope to win Lethal in 16:34. Thesz celebrates with BG James in the ring as Van Dam looks crestfallen at ringside. <strong>72</strong></p><p>

Joe Hennig was really off his game.</p><p>

Cade Thesz has won his last 9 matches.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>GRAPPLER’S LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION</strong></p><p><strong>

AJ Styles (1-1-2) v Lance Storm (1-0-3)</strong></p><p>

A good match, though not as entertaining as some expected. AJ is AJ, you know you’ll get all effort and action with him. Lance has been ultra reliable over his career, but old father time is just beginning to catch up with him.</p><p>

The quicker Styles got the better of the methodical Storm in 18:20 by pinfall with a Styles Clash. <strong>71</strong></p><p>

Lance Storm has lost his last 7 matches.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>PSW CONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP</strong></p><p><strong>

‘Grand Slam’ Kevin Steen (champion) v Randy Orton</strong></p><p>

A great match between the new champion and a former champion, though one the crowd were not fully into. With bigger stars in the company such as Jericho, Yang, Rob Van Dam and perhaps one or two others not in the main event, they didn’t care as much as they should have done.</p><p>

The match went back and forth. Steen hit Orton hard. Orton picked his shots and was ruthless. The match could go either way and hung on a knife edge…</p><p>

The champion retained, and he was relieved and delighted when he did. His successful defence was sealed in 20:36 by pinfall with a Steenalizer. Kevin Steen makes defence number 1 of his PSW Continental Championship title. <strong>82 – match of the night</strong></p><p>

Kevin Steen has won his last 9 matches.</p><p>

Well done to Kijar who pipped Cracker Jack on the strength of the Lethal Battle Royal predictions. Cracker Jack picking the admittedly hot fancy Chris Jericho cost him. Kijar, you can choose any match for Anniversary Show X which will happen in two months game time. Bear in mind that Cade Thesz will challenge for the Continental Championship and there will be the Sgt Slaughter Memorial Battle Royal. Aside from that you have free choice.</p>

<strong>PSW SUPERSTARS OF WRESTLING</strong></p><p>

Monday, week 3, March 2011</p><p>

Announcers: Potter, Bret Hart & Dusty Rhodes</p><p>

Chase Arena at Family Pavilion, Hartford, Connecticut (4,017 capacity)</p><p>

Adam Sandler starts the show in the ring. The Director of Operations invites Lethal winner Cade Thesz to the ring. Thesz duly obliges, without any of the other Outlaws. It’s evident that Sandler is on good terms with The Outlaws, given the two exchange pleasantries when Thesz gets in the ring. Sandler congratulates Thesz on winning Lethal, and says he will now challenge for the Continental Championship at Anniversary Show X in two months time. Thesz is understandably delighted and shakes Sandler’s hand, and says whoever the champion is, it will be his big day as he fulfils his destiny by following his grandfather and becomes a champion. <strong>78</strong></p><p>

Adam Sandler looked good.</p><p> </p><p>

Stu Sanders is improving in performance skills.</p><p> </p><p>

Backstage in the Family Pavilion, Raven and John Cena approach Amazing Red. At first Red is very apprehensive, but Raven talks calmly to him and Cena’s demeanour is reassuring. Raven says he has observed that Red has been having a difficult time as an Outlaw and perhaps Raven is his Salvation. Red is unsure. In the background, BG James is seen looking on, not looking pleased. </p><p> </p><p>

In a TV studio, location unknown, sits Chris Jericho. You can tell by his expression he is seething. His tone is one of aggression, saying he has been banned from the arena tonight by Adam Sandler “for his own safety”. Jericho says this is for the safety of Sandler and The Outlaws. Jericho says he will be back next week and is going to kick some ass. <strong>81</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Super Dragon has had 100 singles matches in PSW, winning 44.</p><p> </p><p>

Out on the parking lot, BG James meets the other Outlaws minus Amazing Red. BG James says he is mad at Raven and John Cena as he saw them talking to Amazing Red earlier on tonight. James tells Cade Thesz, Christopher Daniels and Roderick Strong to find out what they can about the situation and then they will deal with it “appropriately”. <strong>46</strong></p><p> </p><p>

A lack of psychology caused the match to drift.</p><p> </p><p>

In the office of the Director of Operations, Adam Sandler is sitting behind his desk. Kevin Steen enters the room, and the Continental champion puts the championship belt right in front of Sandler on his desk. Steen remarks that Sandler didn’t expect him to still be champion and Sandler gives it to Steen, he thought Orton would win, but he does say well done to Steen.</p><p>

Sandler says that Jeopardy is the next pay per view and if there is one thing that Bret Hart did right, it was to introduce the Jeopardy match. He says it will happen again at Jeopardy. Kevin Steen will put his title on the line against three challengers who will put something of theirs on the line. Sandler says that people fighting to avoid suffering gets rating, so he’s happy to have the match. Steen to Sandler whoever puts themselves in the match had better be prepared to fight. <strong>75</strong></p><p>

Adam Sandler was good.</p><p>

Kevin Steen under performed.</p><p> </p><p>
