PSW WEEKLY

Monday, week 4, November 2009

Broadcast on America One on Tuesday late evening

Announcers: Potter & Dusty Rhodes

ASU Acadome, Montgomery, Alabama (7,400 capacity)

images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTpFbmEaBv1-vDm87BkhhyABl1rYOIV51wRnKNAlDtbpgC_jjFNEA

The show starts in the office of the Director of Operations. An irate Lance Storm is with Bret Hart, speaking how Jeff Jarrett double crossed him and cheated him out of being the number one contender. Bret Hart remains calm and says that Jeff Jarrett won fair and square. He broke no rules and if Lance Storm has an issue with how Jeff Jarrett won, then he needs to see Jarrett about it. 62

Bret Hart improvised well in this segment.

PSW TV TITLE

Joe Hennig (champion) v Roderick Strong (with James Mitchell)

With James Mitchell in his corner, the challenger was clearly more focused and intense than he has been in recent months. Also, Mitchell proved to be distracting for Hennig.

In a match that had some good action but non-existent crowd heat, Roderick Strong defeated Joe Hennig in 7:41 by pinfall with a CX 02. Roderick Strong wins the PSW TV Title. 62

Roderick Strong is improving in rumble skills.

Roderick Strong has won his last six matches.

Roderick Strong celebrates in the ring while James Mitchell praises his new charge, hailing the two time PSW TV champion . 37

Christopher Daniels & Low Ki v Desperate Measures

That wasn't the last we saw of Mitchell and Strong as towards the end of this match the two walked back out to ringside. While James Mitchell distracted referee Bruce Gray, Strong took out Yoshihiro Tajiri at ringside. This allowed a two on one in the ring which led to the conclusion in 9:05 when Low Ki defeated Aaron Stevens by submission after blatantly cheating. 61

Backstage and Lance Storm is assaulting Jeff Jarrett. The stoic Canadian leaves his guitar playing nemesis lying face down on the concrete. 52

GRAPPLER'S LEAGUE SECOND DIVISION

Chris Hero v Super Dragon

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Chris Hero defeated Super Dragon in 10:46 by pinfall with a Heros Welcome. 62

Chris Hero is improving in rumble skills.

At the end of the match Bret Hart walks out with AJ Styles and John Cena. Chris Hero is still in the ring but Bret tells him not to worry. Bret says he has come out to announce the three of them as the first participants in this year's Feast or Fired at Christmas Feast next month. The three men then argue that they will win the National Championship briefcase. 66

Bret Hart was masterful at improvising.

Chris Hero performed poorly.

GRAPPLER'S LEAGUE FIRST DIVISION

Kevin Steen (National Tag Team champion) v Lance Storm

It's been a busy night for Lance. In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Lance Storm defeated Kevin Steen in 13:23 by submission with a Canadian Maple Leaf. 73

The two have great chemistry and it showed in their performances.

Backstage and Chris Jericho is ready to speak, his National Championship belt shining on his shoulder. He smirks at Jeff Jarrett being left lying on the concrete by Lance Storm, saying it will make it easier for him if people take Jarrett out for him. 85

GRAPPLER'S LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION

CM Punk v Randy Orton

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Randy Orton defeated CM Punk in 17:13 by pinfall with an O-Zone. 80 – match of the night

To start PSW Weekly we see the Director of Operations Bret Hart in the ring with the National champion 'The Show Stealer' Chris Jericho. Bret says Jericho might have found Lance Storm's attack on Jeff Jarrett amusing but he didn't. Bret continues by saying he will spice things up a little. Tonight's main event will see Jeff Jarrett face Lance Storm, and Chris Jericho will be the special referee. <strong>84</strong></p><p>

Bret Hart enjoyed the freedom of going off script and performed well.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>GRAPPLER'S LEAGUE SECOND DIVISION</strong></p><p><strong>

James Storm v John Cena</strong></p><p>

John Cena looked good.</p><p> </p><p>

James Mitchell is backstage and he is with Christopher Daniels, Low Ki and the new TV champion Roderick Strong. Mitchell says he has formed a group of the best he can get and this group will win titles in PSW. This group is Triple X. <strong>34</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>GRAPPLER'S LEAGUE FIRST DIVISION</strong></p><p><strong>

Rob Van Dam is seen in the gym. He says he is avoiding Feast or Fired. He mentions the fact that while there is a one in four chance he would earn a National Championship match, there is also a one in four chance he would be fired. <strong>65</strong> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jeff Jarrett v Lance Storm</strong></p><p><strong>

Special referee: Chris Jericho (National champion)</strong></p><p>

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Lance Storm defeated Jeff Jarrett in 20:01 by submission, which Chris Jericho called despite there being no tapping, with a Canadian Maple Leaf after blatantly cheating. <strong>36</strong></p><p>
