The Director of Operations starts Superstars of Wrestling in the ring with the current Continental Tag Team champions. Sandler has an evil grin on his face as he says he has noticed the champions have been arguing a lot of late, so he thinks it will be great entertainment and therefore boost ratings if the champions fought in tonight’s main event. Sydal and Perkins are visibly displeased. Sandler spots this and says if the two don’t fight a proper match, he will strip them of their titles. Sydal and Perkins are incensed with the man in charge as we go to commerical. 61

Adam Sandler was the real star of the segment.

T. J. Perkins was very underwhelming.

Austin Aries makes his way to the ring for his first TV Title defence, only for Marty Scurll to come to the ring and get a mic. He says he isn’t having his rematch tonight… he is going to wait until Anniversary Show X to take back his title, and hopefully Aries will still have it to take it from… 45

Adam Sandler is with Chicago’s Finest in the locker room. He tells Punk and Cabana he wants the best team to represent him at Anniversary Show X. Punk and Cabana look at Sandler with disgust, saying he has no respect for the business or the wrestlers, so there is no chance they will fight for him. Sandler looks angry as they leave. 60

We start the show with Adam Sandler, Randy Orton and Roderick Strong in the ring. Sandler says he has been giving his team some serious thought for Anniversary Show X on Sunday and he has found two men who will get the job done for him. Orton and Strong both look ready for what will be a huge tag team match on Sunday night. 55

Adam Sandler was the real star of the segment.

Roderick Strong looked dreadful.

GRAPPLER’S LEAGUE SECOND DIVISION

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Drew McIntyre defeated Paul London in 10:19 by pinfall with a Thee Move. 55

Drew McIntyre has won his last 5 matches.

In the parking lot, The Outlaws are midway through a gang attack on the tag team champions To Kijar, With Love. Matt Sydal and T. J. Perkins don’t stand a chance against a five man vicious onslaught. The champions are left lying on the concrete and things don’t look good for their title defence this Sunday night. 37

T. J. Perkins has switched to a Teen Idol gimmick, rated 47.

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Austin Aries defeated Air Paris in 11:15 by pinfall with a 450 Splash. Austin Aries makes defence number 2 of his PSW TV Title. 64

Air Paris’ win streak ends at 6.

Adam Sandler is smug behind his desk in the Director of Operations office. He says because of him PSW and Superstars of Wrestling is a success and because of his contacts in TV, he has signed off on an extension to the contract to broadcast Superstars of Wrestling on Spike TV as well as start broadcasting pay per views on MVS Multivisión in Mexico, starting with Anniversary Show X. Bret Hart begrudgingly admits that PSW are growing with Sandler as Director of Operations. Potter lets out an unimpressed and inaudible grunt. 82

http://i.imgur.com/jVJpf2a.jpg v http://i.imgur.com/9QWHGw0.jpg

GRAPPLER’S LEAGUE FIRST DIVISION

Aaron Stevens is improving in technical skills.

Kevin Steen has won his last 13 matches.

In the backstage interview area, AJ Styles and Chris Jericho address the huge tag team match at Anniversary Show X on Sunday night. They say they are going to win for themselves, for Potter, for the good of PSW and the good of the wrestling business as disrespectful scumbags like Adam Sandler have no place in this great sport. 47

Chris Jericho needs to change his character desperately.

In a match that had some good action and average heat, AJ Styles defeated Yoshihiro Tajiri in 10:51 by pinfall with a Styles Clash. 69

Styles and Tajiri have great chemistry.

In the parking lot, we see Kevin Steen, bags packed, approaching his rental car ready to leave for the night. In scenes eerily similar to earlier, all of The Outlaws jump him and viciously attack him. They leave him lying on the hood of the car thanks to a Cade Thesz power bomb on to it. The Continental champion’s reign looks in seriously jeopardy with Cade Thesz challenging him for the title in only six nights. 41
