In a strong opener Pete Dunne defeated Nick Aldis with a little help from a friend, Aldis seemed to be on his way to victory until Jimmy Havoc strolled out onto the stage to distract Aldis to allow The Bruiserweight to roll him up for the win in 9 minutes.

As the bell went Pete Dunne didn’t stop stomping on his head giving Jimmy Havoc enough time to make his way down to the ring and the two had the GFW Global Champion backed into a corner just protecting himself with no chance of any offence until Stu Bennett ran down forcing Havoc and Dunne to leave the ring.

Tommy End comes out to the ring in jeans and the new Dazzler Team shirt, available now on the PROGRESS Website, holding a black bag with something inside, is it a snake?

"Right, let me keep this short. Tommy walks back to the entrance way and takes a seat on commentary for the following match to decide who the first challenger for the new belt will be.

In a good match it was British Strong Style versus Germany’s adopted Austrian when Trent Seven met Big Daddy Walter with the latter coming out on top in an 8 minute sprint match with both men leaving it all in the ring. Post-match Walter called for Tommy End to meet him in the ring and the two stood together staring each other down without any contact made.

Noam Dar was the first man out to his usual Morning Glory carrying a mic.

Listen Jim, I need to ask you a favour, there are things I want to do to Nathan Cruz that just aren’t legal in a normal wrestling match or even in a normal day to day situation outside this building but that part I’ll hold back on. I’m asking you to make this a no-DQ match so I can beat the cr*p out of him.

Jim Smallman nods his head and shrugs, Nathan Cruz’s music hits and he comes out alone carrying a Baseball Bat, Noam sprints up to stage and gets a nice home run swing to the stomach. The two brawl around every inch of Brixton Academy for 16 minutes until Noam Dar hit a package piledriver in the ring then transitioning into the Champagne Super Kneebar putting emphasis on him wanting Nathan Cruz to physically quit and tap out rather than lose through pinfall. Hopefully both men can now move on after this exhausting battle.

Drew Gulak enters a PROGRESS Ring in the UK for the first time after he joined Dazzler Team at the PWG/PROGRESS Supershow following a great match with now fellow stable member, Tommy End. He comes up against young Tyler Bate who has broke out recently in other promotions including a tour to All Japan Pro Wrestling with Jimmy Havoc, will that success translate to a PROGRESS ring?

Gulak and Bate opted to play to the rules with clean brakes with a mutual respect for each other however Dunne and Bennett utilised their backup in the match with Jimmy Havoc and Nick Aldis both getting involved several times giving Ric Flair a run for his money in who the dirtiest player in the game is. After 9 minutes of almost stupidity Havoc and Aldis both slid chairs into the ring simultaneously leaving Dunne and Bennett at a stalemate both ready to swing, referee Chris Roberts stood between the two and begged them to put them down, end the nonsense and start wrestling a traditional style which led to him receiving double chair shots with his head as the the meat of the chair sandwich leaving him with no choice but to DQ both men.

The bell went and Havoc and Aldis slid into the ring, a brawl between all four men started. They managed to get at each other for about 50 seconds while Jim Smallman frantically called for Security to get in there and stop them which they at least tried to do before being pushed aside with ease. Pete Dunne managed to pick up one of the chairs and put down Aldis with a brutal shot ringing around the room causing Bennett and Havoc to actually stop brawling on the outside of the ring and turn to stare at the ring, their reaction was the downfall of Bennett though as Havoc reacted fast delivering a low blow.

Match Rating: 68

Angle Rating: 70

http://i.imgur.com/Qta8l0N.png

http://i1378.photobucket.com/albums/ah120/joemurphyx/PRONEW/Tommy%20EndMANAGER_zpsgse2hy64.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/GK3zj7V.pnghttp://i1378.photobucket.com/albums/ah120/joemurphyx/PRONEW/Big%20Daddy%20WalterMANAGER_zpssk9kk3la.png

Tommy End successfully made his first defence of the brand new Strong Style Title after a good match with Big Daddy Walter, 11 minutes into the match he dropped Walter with a roundhouse kick before going to the top rope to hit a double stomp.

http://i.imgur.com/uL5M3te.png

Post-match Drew Gulak made his second appearance of the night coming back out in regular clothes with a microphone in hand.

Listen Tommy, you have been my biggest rival so far this year, we’ve had two fantastic matches including the match that managed to get me a job with PROGRESS allowing me to be right here today and I thank you for that however the problem is we’ve both won one match each and I need to know if I’m truly better than you. Sha and Haskins ran in and the four paired off as Sha attacked Sabre Jr while Haskins attacked the champ.

Mark Haskins and Marty Scurl brawled on the outside and it was a huge mistake by both men as they concentrated on each other a little too much without keeping an eye on the ring as Sha Samuels took advantage hitting a tombstone on Zack Sabre Jr pinning him for the 3 count to become the new PROGRESS Champion.

As Sha’s theme played Marty Scurll who was at the back of the room flipped out dragging a chair from under a fan clobbering Haskins multiple times. He then took his aggression out on several other chairs breaking them over Haskins’ back before heading to the ring with pure anger in his eyes however Sha got out of there as soon as he saw The Villain running towards him escaping cleanly however Zack Sabre Jr then felt the wrath receiving the same treatment as Mark Haskins, The Villain has snapped. He began dismantling the ring removing the ropes and ripping apart the turnbuckle pads to the anger of Jim Smallman.

Glen Joseph and RJ Singh left the commentary table to try to calm down Marty however both got chairshots to the head for their efforts, Jim Smallman was backed into a corner by Scurll. Marty grabbed his shirt by the back of the neck and rolled the defenceless Jim into the poor excuse for a ring along with several chairs and the umbrella that he came to the ring with about 30 minutes ago.

Scurll put the chairs in a pile, picked up Jim Smallman before hitting a DDT onto the chairs. Marty then picked him up and used the umbrella locking in his signature Crossface Chicken Wing with pure evil in his eyes. Jim Smallman passed out and Scurll let go as the crowd looked on in shock at the terror that The Villain had caused living up to his name and more.

Match Rating: 87

Angle Rating: 82

 smurphy1014 : 3/6

Uncrewed : 3/6

MisterRomanini : 3/6

Mootinie : 3/6

Kijar : 3/6

2sweet : 3/6

michgcs : 2/6

ElectricX : 2/6

Thanks for Reading!

I don't like title changes in multi person matches, such a cop out.

Well…. Jim Smallman was out first as usual and explained to the crowd about Jimmy Havoc’s situation where he ended up with a pretty serious injury after a show in Japan during the week so Pete Dunne needs a new partner that he will announce just before the match starts. He also said that following his actions at the end of the last show Marty Scurll has been suspended for 30 days from PROGRESS and is not allowed into the building of shows or the PROJO under any circumstances.

The opening contest of the evening is between the recently dethroned Tag Team Champions of Jack Gallagher and Darrell Allen of the Dazzler Team and Moustache Mountain consisting of Trent Seven and Tyler Bate. The two teams went back and forth putting on a good match however after 12 minutes it was Tyler Bate who almost out of nowhere hit a brainbuster onto Darrell Allen to keep him down for the win while Trent Seven kept Jack Gallagher away from the pin.

The second match saw IPW:UK Heavyweight Champion TK Cooper, accompanied to the ring by Dahlia Black, face off against former TNA X-Division Champion and former PROGRESS Champion Mark Andrews . TK Cooper went to get the advantage attacking Andrews during the ring announcements before proceeding to taunt the crowd keeping advantage of the match for the majority of the early parts of the match. Around 11 minutes in Dahlia Black removed the top turnbuckle pad while referee Chris Roberts was distracted with the action and it backfired as TK was sent crashing into it head first accidentally busting his nose open giving Mark Andrews enough time to take to the top tope for a Shooting Star Press however TK got his knees up, rolled him up for the victory with a little assistance from Dahlia Black who placed his legs onto the bottom rope adding extra leverage.

Right, Jimmy’s hurt and I decided to get a partner for this match. I don’t need one I’d beat these two guys on my own but I’d like give someone else the pleasure of being on my side rather than the receiving end of a beating.

STU BENNETT IF YOU DARE GET IN THAT RING WITH ME, WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN IS THE SAME THAT HAPPENS TO EVERYONE ELSE. Pete Dunne started the match up against Nick Aldis and the two started at full power trading a mixture of forearms, elbows and kicks for several minutes until they both went for a Lariat at the same time knocking each other down. They both crawled back to their respective corners for the tag however Zack Gibson dropped off the ring leaving Dunne alone in the ring to be fed to the wolves. 1 minutes into the match and Zack Gibson still hadn’t been directly involved making any contact with anyone else in the match until he decided that he wanted to enter the ring when Stu Bennett was looking vulnerable after Pete Dunne hit a release suplex however before he could get the pin

Gibson tagged himself in to take the glory wrapping his arm around his head, locking the shankly gates forcing Bennett to tap out to Liverpool self-proclaimed number one, Zack Gibson, who fulfilled on his pre-match promise.

He wasted little time after the bell going straight after Aldis hitting him with a big Elbow before turning on his own tag team partner, Pete Dunne, hitting him with a piledriver. He then locked in the Shankly Gates on The Bruiserweight standing tall over three great men demanding a mic.

I AM LIVERPEWL’S NUMBER ONE ZACK GIBSON AND I AM SICK AND TIRED OF BEING OVERLOOKED BY PROGRESS, I WILL SOON BE RECOGNISED AS PROGRESS’ NUMBER ONE TAKING MY RIGHTFUL PLACE ON TOP.

The alliance of Rampage Brown, Daisuke Sekimoto and Sha Samuels took a huge blow to their confidence losing their first match as a team together against Zack Sabre Jr, Will Ospreay and Paul Robinson after Will Ospreay caught Rampage Brown with a springboard cutter virtually guaranteeing himself and Paul Robinson a Tag Team Title shot in the future with a strong showing.

In a fantastic main event Tommy End defended his Strong Style Title against Drew Gulak two falls to one with a kimura in the final 30 seconds enough to have a visibly tiring Gulak tap out. Both men were extremely even throughout the match with a great mutual respect shown however neither man afraid to push the rules to their limits with the aim of winning the war.

Post-match Tommy End put out his hand which Drew Gulak shook however they were attacked by a person that ran through the crowd in jeans and a hoodie with an umbrella, surely it isn’t Marty Scurll who has been banned from the building? They managed to escape through a fire exit before anyone could see who he was evading security.

The opening contest of the evening is a singles match between Tyler Bate and the vastly more experienced Stu Bennett, 16 years older than young Tyler. Despite his knowledge and experience on this occasion it wasn’t enough to defeat Tyler Bate when he fell to a Bridging German Suplex.

Pollyanna was out first with a heavily taped up right wrist that forced this match to be cancelled last show and Nixon Newell took full advantage of it targeting a large amount of her attack on it. Eventually 11 minutes into the match, Nixon managed to get completely lock in a Kimura leaving Pollyanna with no choice but to reluctantly tap out to the delight of Nixon Newell as she became the first ever PROGRESS Womens Champion.
