The pics pack is down can you reup?

Until he re-ups, go to http://www.ewwarehouse.info/mod-index/tew-2013/ and download the picture pack for "War to Settle the Score" TEW 2013. That is presumably the base TCP used and how I have worked around it for my personal play.

EDIT:

I also found another error. MACW's product is set to have Modern as Key Feature, and so they expect high spots and car crashes and such, and that just wasn't MACW. I was there. :D

Anyway, the product should be set as follows (done to get the right definition for what does and does not work, without paying heed to what the style is called):

Traditional: Key Feature

Mainstream: Heavy

Comedy: Very Low

Modern: Medium

Realism: Low

Hardcore: Very Low

Lucha Libre: Low

Intensity/Danger: 40/40

Macthes should be called in the ring

This gives a product rated equal on performance and popularity, and allows high risk matches (War Games) without requiring them. Quite favorable sponsorship, storylines and gimmicks required, no subtle gimmicks or risky angles.

Did you remember to create and set the picture folder in the editor before installing the pictures?

I have noticed a few eras myself which is no big deal. Ric Flair was not a heel in MACW in 1983, he was face during that time and never turned heel until late 85. Ivan Koloff was not in the wwf, he was in Mid-Atlantic. Fun game to play as I am in May 1983 right now.

My memory may be fuzzy here, but didn't Flair actually start the year Heel and turn a few months prior to his feud with Harley Race (I wanna say like right after Final Conflict in March), and staying such until the formation of the Horsemen in 85? I remember Flair feuding with Face Dusty Rhodes throughout 81-83 (last bit being the Midnight Rider angle, which was a crossover feud between Florida, Georgia, and Mid-Atlantic) before Flair went Face, but I admit I don't know the exact date it happened.

You can get the first picture pack here: http://www.ewwarehouse.info/mod-index/tew-2013/

There should be no issues. There are already two video diaries using it on YouTube even (funnily enough, both using MACW lol). I'm about six months into my personal game and not having many troubles (see below for the one possible game breaker). Some pictures aren't yet linked, but it's a minor thing you can fix on the fly and even report any errors here as a few of us have been.

I must say I'm loving this mod. And loving the game!

Not sure how I feel about the broadcast deal lengths, though. In my game, I'm having trouble following the MACW>JCP>WCW path because I'm stuck with the broadcast deal for Mid-Atlantic for three years. I imagine this might prevent me from starting up the World Championship Wrestling program in 1984. In fact, it's stopping me from getting PPV, so it may prevent Starrcade as well. Under the AI, definitely. So I might suggest lowering the starting broadcast deal lengths to no more than a year for any or most of them. Not sure how to fix an ongoing game, may have to start over. :(

EDIT: My mistake. One of them is using this mod, the other is using a 1985 mod apparently. My point remains, though. You should be able to do very well using the link to EWW. Just follow TCP's directions using that pack instead of the first one, then overwrite with the second, and make sure to set it as the picture pack. May need to reload TEW to get it to take, I did. Then you're good to go and have fun!

I took it to mean that the pic packs from any of the old historic mods would work. I went for the 'war to settle the score' or whatever it was called. Gonna try the pic pack shortly.

Also, I'm not particularly knowledgeable about the old territory days, as it's before my time, but I'm playing as AWA and our weekly show only expected 10% match ratio for a 2 hour show. That seems ridiculous to me, surely they didn't have a show which featured 20 minutes of wrestling, with 80 minutes of angles?!

No, it has to be the one TCP used, "The War to Settle the Score" mod picture pack from the TEW 2013 mods section.

EDIT: I went and grabbed a direct link.

So for everyone having trouble here is the link to the first picture pack:

They have very old one from when I released WTSTS first time. Try NGO pack it may take work but they actually might line up better for you. Or your going to fix 100 to 600 pics. So please stop using that one on EWWarehouse that's on there because it was never updated.

download 7zip or winRAR and use those to extract the file before you try to install

I've used WinZip, I recently tried it with winRAR and I get the same locked Microsoft Access File for the data. I've used Hive's data for years and never had it open like that.

I meant no offense, and figure that the EWW pack is better than none at all. If you're interested in the installer used in TGA, PM Mr Creative. Will definitely help with some of the install problems.
