Eye Candy Based Fed??

Recommended Posts

I tried to do a very different playthrough by trying to make an Eye Candy based federation with a high T&A level using Fleisch's DiabloX 4.0 Mod (Link to the post and mod below)

http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=533463

But soon I found out that is really hard because you can't put two consecutive eye candy based matches in a row or you will get penalized, Eye candy matches can only run up to 10 minutes without getting a penalty that the match was too long and cap at 80 rating even if the workers get a performance rating of 100 (but with some perks can get raised, my best match in 2 years within game was a 87)

Don't get me wrong, it was still really fun to play, but I want to start again with a different product that can help me a bit. Is there a good combination of product appeal that gives less penalties?

Thanks for reading :)

I think you need Risque at least Heavy or Key Feature, AND have T&A at Low or High for a product that's more friendly towards Eye Candy matches. However, I have no idea what the penalties are, mainly because I rarely play at Risque at Heavy or Key Feature.

Isn't it logical it's capped at 80? And Risque should indeed be a key feature (duh). <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Therefore when I run these types of promotions, I typically run a 50% match ratio with lots of angles between matches.</p><p> </p><p> And as others have said, T&A high and risqué as key.</p>

<p>I posed a similar question about running a Comedy fed a while ago, and someone told me that having a Comedy fed doesn't mean every match is a "Comedy match", that a "Normal" match still carries the traits of a COmedy fed from the product settings...</p><p> </p><p>

I'm not entirely sure whether that's accurate (given you don't get any listed bonuses for good Comedy gimmicks/performance in regular matches even with Comedy as a Key Feature), but if it is the case, then the same would go for Eye Candy.</p><p> </p><p>

It would be good to get a definitive answer, that's for sure!</p>

<p>Put on one eye candy, one story telling (or comedy if you have the right workers), then follow with another eye candy.</p><p> </p><p>

If your workers are high on sex appeal, putting on other kinds of matches aren't going to necessarily hurt. Especially if they can actually work, and you have a product high on Risque and high T&A levels.</p>

<p>If you run Eye Candy Match/6-min. angle/EC Match/and so on, you won't run into any problems on killing the crowd. The only issue you're going to have is all your matches cap at 80 due to the 10 min. max time you can do for Eye Candy matches. Of course they'll cap at lower than 80 if they don't have the psych to pull of that good of a match because for some reason the lack of psych note gets put in BEFORE the time limit ratings cap giving your match a double-whammy (or it did way back in 1.07 when I was fiddling with an eye candy fed). So figure about 72, which is great when you're talking all the way up to mid-Cult.</p><p> </p><p>

You can probably pull it off, but what you're going to have to do is start with an Equal fed with Risque high. Then, once you get everyone up to mid-60's pop (where you'd stop using Sex Appeal angles since they cap there and switch to Overness ones), you quickly shove the product to a much more pop fed. Your ratings will drop only slightly as you'll likely stop having the psych penalty. Then, you just have to hope that you have women that do well on the mic to build pop along with storylines. You would have to pull that switch anyway in 13, but now you have to do it a little bit earlier. And depending on the networks, you might not get on TV as easy.</p>

I ran an Eye Candy Road to Glory fed in 13 with Idolized 2004 mod. By low Regional, I was getting mid-70's with it still being an Equal fed. Likely not going to try in 16 though with all the changes that work against it (and how long it takes to grow now).</p>
