Monday night, and the ONLY Titans of Wrestling worth watching, are right here in WCW brother.....speaking of which, the Titans are out in force to open the show, with Vince Russo leading the troops down to the ring...and while Hogan and Co. look as confident as ever, Jean Paul Levesque doesn't look particularly pleased, bringing up the rear a good few feet behind the rest of his team mates.....</p><p> </p><p> ......the group get into the ring, where Vince Russo says that the wrestling world is abuzz with the Titans of Wrestling, and everywhere you turn there's some idiot who thinks he's got what it takes to compete with the Titans.....the Road Warriors think they have a chance of holding onto those Tag Team Titles against Copeland and Cage <em>("they're wrong")</em> Chris Benoit thinking he's going to break through that glass ceiling and hang with the Macho Man <em>("so wrong bro")</em> Diamond Dallas Page thinking that the Warrior is EVER going to stoop so low as to get in the ring with a Jersey dirtbag like him <em>("bro, just stop.....you're embarrassing yourself")</em> and then there's the worst one of all.......Sting <em>("hiding up in the rafters like the damn Phantom of the Opera.....Hollywood, tell that Brandon Lee wanna be what's gonna happen the next time he sticks his nose in Titan business.")</em>....</p><p> </p><p> .....Hogan takes the microphone and looks up at the rafters, before inviting Sting to come and drop down from the ceiling right now, and let's see how tough he really is.....</p><p> </p><p> <em>".....see for the last few weeks I've been taking it easy on you brother....you're obviously going through a hard time, and Hollywood Hogan, being the nice guy that I am, I've been letting things slide dude.....you've had a free pass, but that all stops now....."</em></p><p> </p><p> ......Hollywood says that Sting has been hiding away like a hormonal teenager because he's not getting what he wants......he says that when he pinned Sting one, two, three in the middle of the ring, Sting lost the opportunity to challenge for the WCW Title as long as Hogan was the Champion <em>("but this isn't the only title in WCW dudes.....Sting could have stepped down and challenged for a title a little bit more on his level, the United States Title....he could have found a partner and gone for the Tag Team Titles.....but then......you don't have much luck when it comes to partners do you Stinger?")</em>......</p><p> </p><p> ......Hollywood pats the Warrior on the back and laughs at that remark, before saying that Sting hasn't done that....instead, he hasn't wrestled AT ALL in almost two months.....he tells Sting that he has two choices.....one, stop this little mid-life crisis.....step back into the ring.....swallow his pride, and maybe see if Eddie Guerrero will let him have a crack at the "secondary" title.....OR.....stop hiding in the rafters.....stop trying to sneak attack Hollywood.....and just leave.....</p><p> </p><p> <em>".....because if you're waiting up there for the day that Hollywood loses this title before you step back in the ring, you're going to be waiting a long time.....because no one outside of the Trinity is on my level brother.....not you....not Luger....not that big stinky Giant.....none of these Johnny come Lately's like Rikishi or The Rock.....nobody......absolutely nobody is on Hollywood Hogan's level jack......"</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> ".......what about me?....."</em></p><p> </p><p> .....that breaks Hogan's tirade.....because it seems as though Jean Paul Levesque has something to say on the matter.....</p><p> </p><p> <em>".....what about me huh? Am I not on your level?.....because it seems to me like we're just three weeks away from Halloween Havoc, and for the past TWO weeks, I've had a baseball bat wrapped around my skull.....now MAYBE the first one wasn't your fault.....you definitely could have DONE more than run away like you'd seen a ghost, but ok, I let that one go....but LAST week "brother"....that was all you....so I gotta ask....are all these little mishaps purely coincidental? Or is someone playing the long game ahead of OUR match for YOUR belt?...."</em></p><p> </p><p> .....it's a valid question.....Hogan DID leave Levesque high and dry two weeks ago on Nitro....and he DID "accidentally" nail him with a baseball bat to the skull last week....but Hollywood says that he's got it all wrong....this is all Sting's doing....the man is unstable, he even sucker punched his so called friend Lex Luger last week.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Hollywood says that at Halloween Havoc, he and Levesque are going to have a match for the WCW Title....they're going to go to war, that goes without saying.....but when the dust settles, at the end of the day, they're going to find out exactly who the better man is, and then they're going to go back to doing what the Titans do best.....and that's run this place....Levesque says that's all well and good.....</p><p> </p><p> <em>".....but tell me this......who do YOU think is the better man?....."</em></p><p> </p><p> .....Hogan doesn't answer for a moment, before finally he looks into Levesques eyes, telling him that I guess they're going to find out at Halloween Havoc....</p><p> </p><p> ....Levesque turns to the rest of the Titans, asking them who THEY think the better man is....but before any of them can answer he cuts them off.....</p><p> </p><p> <em>".....you know what, it doesn't matter.....for the last two weeks, when I've needed back up, not ONE of you has been there.....so you know what, I don't need any of your help to do anything....I've got Lex Luger tonight in the main event....I don't need ANY of you out there for that either, especially YOU Hollywood after last week.....so all of you do me a favour and stay in the back tonight....and then maybe I can go one week without getting a baseball bat bounced off my skull....."</em></p><p> </p><p> .....Russo tells Levesque to calm down, it doesn't have to be like this, they're all friends here.....but Levesque says no....they're not....he says that friends have each other's backs....friends watch out for each other....he says that he's only ever had four real friends in this entire industry.....and maybe.............maybe it's time he remembered exactly who his REAL friends are.....</p><p> </p><p> .....with that Levesque tosses down the microphone and (in a sight becoming more and more frequent) heads to the back alone, leaving the rest of the Titans in the ring, as a promo for Halloween Havoc airs.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> A*</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p></div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><div></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Don Harris over a car rental of all things, as well as one Scott Hall being his usual obnoxious self, taking a swing at the much bigger Nelson....</p><p> </p><p> .....with the cheap plugs over Gene turns to Page, saying that for weeks now Dallas has come out here and levied challenge after challenge towards the Warrior....challenges that have so far gone unanswered, and if Vince Russo earlier in United States Championship on the line against relative newcomer Yoshihiro Tajiri....</p><p> </p><p> ....Tajiri has impressed in recent weeks, especially with his fighting spirit, as emphasised last week when he came out to confront Mortis....</p><p> </p><p> ....Guerrero has been impressive of late as well, and with it developed quite the cocky attitude....but then, when your laundry list of victories includes wins over Chris Benoit, Diamond Dallas Page, Jeff Hardy, and most recently Rikishi, why wouldn't you be confident....but then, his confidence obviously only stretches so far, because he quickly rebuffed the challenge of the Rock when confronted, and fortunately for him, the Rock appears to have his hands full with Kevin Sullivan and The Forgotten.....for now at least.....</p><p> </p><p> ....as for this match, it was actually pretty damn good considering the fact that Tajiri is still somewhat of a nobody....Eddie was certainly not afraid to sell for the newcomer, and at one point his title reign looked to be in serious trouble......</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="y3FR6T0.jpg" aisle, taking out Vandenberg as he goes, before sweeping Mortis' feet out from under him and dragging him to the floor, where the two rivals proceed to brawl all the way to the back and far away from this match.....</p><p> </p><p> .....unfortunately for Tajiri, Mortis dropped that cane as he fell, and with the official distracted by the two men brawling to the back, Eddie picks up the weapon and of his short career....because tonight he's up against one of the toughest men in this sport, The Barbarian.....</p><p> </p><p> .....the match was actually pretty good, certainly one of the rookies best so far....Barbarian was more than a match when it came to pure power, and he certainly pushed Goldberg further than anyone else has managed....but while the two men were evenly matched in terms of strength, it was Goldberg's intensity that gave him the upper hand here, and he finished the Barbarian off with the Spear/Jackhammer combination, keeping his winning streak alive at 29-0.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Bill Goldberg</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B-</p><p> </p><p> <strong>(OOC):</strong> I was actually a little apprehensive about giving Goldberg a win Regal attempted to get Storm onto his side, buttering up the Canadian with a view to convincing him to help him retain his championship, Storm appeared to be going along with it too, at least until the perfect opportunity to strike arose, and he snatched Regals feet out from under him before locking in the Canadian Maple Leaf..... </p><p> </p><p> ....of course the problem with these three way matches, is that you need to have neutralised one of your opponents before focusing on the other....and Fit Finlay wasn't neutralised....which was why he was able to break up the submission attempt with a stiff kick to the back of Storms head, which DID somewhat neutralise the Canadian, who rolls to the outside to recuperate from the blow to the skull...</p><p> </p><p> ....Finlay and Regal pick up the pace now, as we have a repeat of the stiff brawl that started this whole mess to begin with. The two men hammer each other with rights and lefts, kicks, knees and stiff forearm shots, before Finlay finally manages to catch hold of the champion and plant him in the mat with his own variation of the Tombstone Piledriver......</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> .......for the one...... </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> ......and only the one.....</p><p> </p><p> ......because Lance Storm rolls back into the ring, drags Finlay off Regal and tosses him to the outside, before covering the Champion himself.....for the one, the two.......and the three.....and we have a new champion here tonight.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> ....and <strong>New</strong> WCW Television Champion.....Lance Storm</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="10IgrO9.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/10IgrO9.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="I6bVoU4.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/I6bVoU4.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="2z0ifoa.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/2z0ifoa.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> We come back from commercial, and much like last week, Col. more time.....</p><p> </p><p> ....he says that he KNOWS that The SST could be the team to beat around here, and if he could just harness their animalistic instincts he could make them not only unstoppable, but the WCW Tag Team Champions as well....The Samoan's, well, they don't really look like they have any idea why this idiot would be back out out here with them again, and they slowly begin to circle Parker like vultures around a carcass, with the Colonel backing up so quickly he almost trips through the middle ropes....he holds up his hands, telling the Samoan's that what they have here is a simple case of failure to communicate.....</p><p> </p><p> <em>".....but hold up now, hold up......they say that two heads are better than one, and I have one of the prettiest heads going right here tonight.....and I'm sure between the four of us we can formulate some sort of a Sister/Sensational/Sensuous, call her what you will.....tonight apparently she's Samoan Sherri, and The Colonel seems to think that she might be the key to success for Samu and Fatu.....although quite why he thinks that is anyone's guess.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Sherri gets into the ring and does at least manage to calm the Samoan's down enough that they no longer want to gnaw on Parkers head like a chicken bone, before she calls out Madusa and her Mutts, proclaiming that they want a match with the Pitbull, and they want it right NOW..... </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> opponents are the Titans of Wrestling to contend with.....but not just ANY incarnation of the Titans.....this is a Titans team with one third of the Trinity on it, because Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, and Ray Traylor will be joining forces with the Warrior.....</p><p> </p><p> ....this ain't your momma's Warrior though....this ain't the rope shaking bundle of intensity that Adam Copland you've got to get through The Enforcer and The Warrior first, and Warrior was keen to test his strength against the four powerhouses on the other team....clearly when you look like a Gideon Cain, (who lets face it, looks much more like the typical wrestler than a Diamond Dallas Page does) Warrior still wants to prove exactly who the strong man of WCW is.......oh......and speaking of Badd Blood, which means that in less than one weeks time the world will witness the unveiling of the Hell in a Cell structure....the structure which is going to enclose not only the ring, but the entire ringside area, as Mankind and Brian Pillman write another vicious chapter in their already bloody and brutal feud......</p><p> </p><p> .....we don't have to wait a week to see the Corporate Cannon however, because he's here right now, alongside the Owner of the World Wrestling Federation, Vincent Kennedy McMahon, McMahon's personal problem solver Kane, the Enforcer Arn Anderson, and last but not least, possibly the greatest wrestler to ever lace up his boots, The Nature Boy Ric Flair.....</p><p> </p><p> .....McMahon welcomes us to the show, saying that before we get down to the action this evening, there are one or two items of business that he wants to discuss, starting with the WWF Championship match at Badd Blood, or more importantly, the potential changes to said match......</p><p> </p><p> <em>"....you see this Sunday night, you will all get the opportunity to see Bret Hart challenge Ahmed Johnson for the World Wrestling Federation Championship.....but it's clear following the events of last week that Ahmed Johnson has more than a few unfinished items of business with one Kevin Nash....now Ahmed Johnson wants Kevin Nash added to that WWF Title match at Badd Blood....Kevin Nash wants Kevin Nash to be added to that WWF Title match at Badd Blood....and for some reason, you moronic fans want Kevin Nash to be added to that WWF Title match at Badd Blood.....in fact, it's safe to say that the only one that DOESN'T want Kevin Nash added to the WWF Title match at Badd Blood, is Bret Hart....."</em></p><p> </p><p> ....McMahon says that with that being said, this is what we are going to do....tonight, each of those men is going to make their desires a reality, when Ahmed Johnson has to team up with both Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, to face Bret Hart, Owen Hart and Chris Jericho....and while Nash and Johnson would much rather be tearing into each other, they're going to have to co-exist this evening, because should they win this match, then yes, Kevin Nash will indeed be added to the WWF Title match this Sunday at Badd Blood......not only that, but Scott Hall will also receive his requested WWF Intercontinental Title match as well, against Champion Owen Hart, while in the interest of fairness (and to assure that no one can claim to have been "screwed") should the Harts and Jericho win this evening, then Mr's Hall and Nash will NOT be competing for ANY championships at Badd Blood.....</p><p> </p><p> <em>"...and while we are on the subject of people being screwed, one person that I have no problem in making life difficult for.....is Stone Cold Steve Austin....."</em></p><p> </p><p> ....the crowd pops big at the mention of Stone Cold, and it's not long until a loud "Austin" chant breaks out through the arena, a fact that clearly irks McMahon, who tells the fans that they have four of the greatest stars in the world gathered in this ring right now, and they choose to chant for a white trash redneck like Steve Austin......</p><p> </p><p> <em>".....but then judging by the look of some of you individuals in attendance tonight, that shouldn't come as too much of a surprise....and while I personally thoroughly enjoyed seeing Mr. Nash get a taste of his own medicine when the WWF Champion sent him crashing through the announce table last week, I didn't get what I really wanted.....and that was Stone Cold Steve Austin beaten to within an inch of his life....."</em></p><p> </p><p> ....McMahon says that tonight, six days before Kane tears Steve Austin limb from limb, McMahon is adopting a more "extreme" approach....when Austin faces Raven later tonight....and speaking of extreme, the World Wrestling Federation is certainly going to go to the extreme this Sunday night.....when Brian Pillman takes care of Mick Foley/Dude Love/Mankind once and for all....inside the Hell....in a Cell.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Pillman takes the microphone, and with a maniacal cackle he decrees that Badd Blood will indeed be the end game in the Brian Pillman/Mick Foley saga.....and it's a game that only he can win.....and while they say that a rose by any other name smells as sweet, Mick Foley by any other name still can't defeat the Corporate Cannon Brian Pillman....and so confident is Pillman that he's going to easily eradicate his opponent on Sunday, that TONIGHT, (as he holds up four fingers) he's going to take care of a little....'Family Business'......when he takes out the lame horse Barry Windham.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Flair takes the microphone next, letting out a big "Wooooooooooo" as he tells these fans that in six days time, <em>("The Nature Boy is gonna walk that aisle, and with The Enforcer by my side, we're going to erase a seven year old mistake from the face of the earth")</em>....he says that that you have to take chances in this great sport, because everyone once in a while (indicating towards Brian Pillman) you unearth a diamond.....but more often than not you're left with nothing more than a handful of coal, and that's exactly what they had with Barry Windham and Psycho Sid, two useless lumps of coal that they're going to crush under their boots at Bad Blood....that's IF Brian Pillman leaves left of Barry Windham....next.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> A*</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p></div><div McMahon heads to the back, with Kane close by his side (after all, you never know when the Rattlesnake is going to strike) while Flair heads over to the announce desk. Anderson however chooses to remain on the outside, heading over to Pillman's corner where he no doubt plans to get involved in this one somehow, despite the presence of the seven foot Sid.....</p><p> </p><p> .....the match itself was good....Pillman and Windham go wayyyy back, and have spent plenty of time in the ring together, with Windham even forcing the former Bengal to don a mask as the Yellow Dog for a time, after defeating the smaller man in a 'loser leaves' match....the stakes are nowhere near as high this evening, although with both men being former Horsemen, you've got to assume the pride stakes are pretty high.....</p><p> </p><p> .....in the end however, the numbers game was too much for Windham (and Sid) with Flair finally leaving the announce table to run interference with Sid, leaving Arn to reach under the ring to pull out that trusty tyre iron, which he uses to clock Windham in the back of the head....and as Brian Pillman marches on towards Hell in a Cell, he does so with a victory under his belt, because he gets the one, the two, and the three.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Brian Pillman</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="UpnPfKu.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/UpnPfKu.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="WEU6DMb.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/WEU6DMb.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="wEEJAdJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/wEEJAdJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="wEEJAdJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/wEEJAdJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="UpnPfKu.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/UpnPfKu.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Why stop when you're having fun huh? And with Windham down, that leaves the Pillman, Flair and Arn with just Psycho Sid to contend with....and if Pillman has history with big Barry, he's CERTAINLY got history with Sid.....(THAT Powerbomb in the War Games match about six years earlier anyone?)....and he joins his two team mates in a three on one assault on the outside....Sid is a big fella though....which probably explains why Anderson eats the ring steps, and Pillman gets his head bounced off the steel post before Flair finally clips the knee, chopping the giant down to size, and then the Horsem...uhm, Corporate Men go to work kicking at Sid, (as Pillman pulls the safety mats up off the floor) until they finally knock him down onto the exposed concrete floor......</p><p> </p><p> .....Windham rolls to the outside, looking to lend a hand to the hand....he's not at anywhere near 100% however after that hard blow from Anderson's trusty tyre iron, and he's quickly dispatched by the trio, before Flair hands Pillman a steel chair, telling him to <em>("do what you do best brother")</em> as the Corporate Cannon inserts Sid's long leg inside the folding chair, and heads up onto the apron......looks like Psycho Sid is about to be Pillmanized......</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="kkGTFxk.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kkGTFxk.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> .....before he can leap however, the masked figure that it Mankind comes rushing out from the back...good thing too, because the last thing anyone needs to see (again) is Sid getting his leg broken....</p><p> </p><p> .....Pillman (still up on the apron) climbs through the middle rope and backs up to the centre of the ring, cackling and wide eyed as he screams at Mankind to come and get him....</p><p> </p><p> .....of course, his confidence might have something to do with the fact that Flair and Anderson have put themselves between Mankind and the ring on the outside, and both men are armed, Anderson with that tyre iron, while the Nature Boy has pulled the steel chair off Sid's leg....Mankind comes to a halt as he assesses the situation, while Brian Pillman acts like a maniac in the ring, pacing around, bouncing up and down on the bottom rope, before finally dropping down to his knees and begging Mankind to make a move.....</p><p> </p><p> ......Mankind takes a hesitant step forward, and Flair and Arn both roll into the ring alongside Pillman, where all three continue to goad the masked man into making what could be a very big mistake....the Deranged One takes another step forward, then stops and just stands there with his head half cocked to one side and a small smile breaking out on his face.....why's he smiling?</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> ......and why is src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> .....probably because Stone Cold Steve Austin has just climbed over the crowd rail behind the unaware trio, and he's slid into the ring....and as Mankind finally makes his move towards the ring Austin spins Anderson around, kicks him in the gut....and drops him with a Stunner.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Mankind rolls under the bottom rope and goes straight for Pillman, as Austin flips off The Nature Boy, but the two Corporate men no longer like these odds (especially since Windham and Sid are climbing back to their feet too) and they quickly bail to the outside, dragging the Enforcer out with them as they go, and retreat quickly up the aisle.....but much as he did last week, Jim Ross hammers the point home that Brian Pillman will have nowhere to run and nowhere to hide this Sunday, when he's locked inside the Hell in a Cell with Mankind.....time for a commercial break.</p><p> </p><p> times over numerous episodes of Raw and Superstars, with each contest resulting in a no contest of some description as they attempt to destroy each other.....last week the Heat finally took the upper hand, after Booker T defeated Wrath in singles action (albeit with an assist from his brother) so this week Crush is looking to avenge that loss, as he takes on Stevie Ray.....</p><p> </p><p> .....if you were looking for a scientific showcase here you were very much disappointed, because Stevie and Crush spent the match pounding the hell out of each other with big power moves. Stevie Ray might not have the "breakout star" tag attached to him that his brother has developed as of late, but he's certainly capable enough in the ring to put on a decent match....and Crush, while not spectacular, is solid enough too.....</p><p> </p><p> .....this is an open match, with plenty of opportunities for both men to pick up the victory, and when that victory did come, much like last week, it wasn't without its controversy....because while Stevie handed Booker the assist LAST week, Wrath does the same for Crush THIS week, reaching under the bottom rope to trip Stevie as he runs the ropes after an Irish Whip, leaving the Harlem Heat man to stumble into a big Chokeslam from Crush for the one, the two, and the three.....</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Crush</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="0lsazil.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/0lsazil.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="ugHPJif.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ugHPJif.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="gTRUKXY.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/gTRUKXY.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="2hf3Bt1.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/2hf3Bt1.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> .....another reoccurring feature in this Heat vs. DoW feud has been the fact that each match has been followed by a further brawl....the ring clearly can't contain this war....and the culmination of this match is no different, because following the interference, Booker T rushes around the ring and launches Wrath hard into the steel steps, and no sooner has the bell rang than he rolls into the ring and goes straight for Crush....</p><p> </p><p> .....the two men eventually stumble through the ropes, where they are soon joined by a recovered Stevie and Wrath, as the four way war continues....unlike previous weeks however, security are out like a shot to separate them.....and with them....</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="qV2yDWP.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/qV2yDWP.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> .....Vince McMahon, who appears on the Titantron to let the two teams know that if they are going to insist on tearing each other apart, then they can do it at Badd Blood....and since they clearly can't work around the confines of either the rules OR the ring, then they can compete in a Falls Count Anywhere Street Fight.....before ordering security to get the two teams out of his arena.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="vdHQozJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/vdHQozJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="kAyCT6E.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kAyCT6E.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> While security deals with Harlem Heat and the Dogs of War, we go backstage, where Michael Cole is standing by with Ken Shamrock....Cole (rather cautiously) skirts around the fact that last week, Shamrock had another chance at becoming the WWF European Champion, but much like at Summerslam, his temper got the better of him and he wound up costing himself the match when he was too preoccupied with the illegal man, Jeff Jarrett.....Cole asks if Ken has any animosity towards Matt Hardy for capitalising on this fact to secure the victory? Shamrock just shakes his head, before saying no....Matt did what he had to do to retain his title....Ken says he's watched the footage back, and "the kid" was clearly trying to snap him out of his red noticeable....he's certainly been eating well)<em>....but then that's the difference between you and me, you and Mr. DiBiase, and you and Jeff Jarrett....we're the upper class, while you're just the crap that my butler scrapes from the bottom of my shoe....."</em></p><p> </p><p> .......Shamrock doesn't like that comment one bit, and you can see the steam getting ready to blow out of his ears, and Steiner he just provokes it further, clearly looking for a reaction....he asks Ken what's the matter?.....</p><p> </p><p> <em>".....are you gonna blow?....are you gonna snap?.....that temper might have helped you down in that ultimate punching garbage that you used to do, but here in the WWF you're not fighting bar room brawlers and Bruce Lee wannabe's in their pyjamas, you're fighting professional athletes....men that fight by the rules, something that a low down dirty street rat like you wouldn't know anything about......"</em></p><p> </p><p> ......Steiner pulls an enormous wad of bills out from his pocket and peels of a (One Dollar!) bill....telling Shammy that's why he'll never amount to anything....that's why Jeff Jarrett is better than him, and that's why Steiner is better fighting champion here during his two month reign, the Million Dollar Corporation have certainly had more chances than most to take the gold away from this plucky youngster....this is their last shot (for now anyway) and perhaps knowing that they have underestimated Hardy in the past, and realising the magnitude of this opportunity, not only has DiBiase made his way out with Jarrett, but Rich Steiner is out there too.....those are some tough odds for the Champion to overcome.....</p><p> </p><p> .....he does well though considering the circumstances, even taking Steiner out at one point (after growing tired of the constant interference) with a Suicide Dive, which for a period at least made this a more even contest....unfortunately, by the time Jarrett pulled the official in front of a modified Poetry in Motion attempt (knocking him out cold) Steiner had recovered, and with the referee indisposed, it was time for the Corporation to double team the champion.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Steiner hits Hardy with a move dubbed "The Million Dollar Drop" (which is essentially a Death Valley Driver) before heading to the outside to pick up the European Championship....and as Jarrett drags Hardy to his feet, hooking his arms behind his back, it looks like the two Million Dollar Members are about to Brain the youngster with the solid gold charging at Jarrett.....who manages to avoid the blow at the last possible second.....</p><p> </p><p> .....sadly for Hardy, he chose that exact moment to get back to his feet.....and Shamrock inadvertently nails him right between the eyes.....</p><p> </p><p> .....that causes the fog to lift for the manic Shamrock, who instantly realises his mistake....not that it helps Hardy any, because Jarrett surprises Shamrock with a clothesline and tosses him to the outside (where Steiner is waiting to keep him preoccupied) just as DiBiase rouses the official....Jarrett makes the cover, and just like that, Matt Hardy's storybook title reign is over, and for once Shamrock's lack of self control has cost somebody ELSE a victory.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> ....and in six days time, there is plenty of bad blood to be settled in this one.....Al Snow & Chris Candido have been trying (unsuccessfully) to capture the WWF Tag Team Titles from the Road Dogg and Billy Gunn for quite some time now, while Malenko & Mysterio have become embroiled in a bitter feud with the Nation of Domination....although it's safe to say that as long as they have those title belts around their waists, the Outlaws have a huge bullseye on their backs from ALL the teams of the WWF......</p><p> </p><p> ......the match itself was pretty good....it was pretty entertaining too, as both Al Snow (or I guess Al-Vatar) and Head...sorry, El Cabeza....donning their respective masks, Snow seems to think he's the next Lucha sensation.....he's no Rey Mysterio that's for sure, but he's certainly got more aerial ability than any of his four opponents, and it's the face foursome that actually co-exist better than the heel quartet, because Faarooq is splitting his attention between a) his opponents, b) letting the Outlaws know that when they're done <em>"squashing these pint sized punks"</em>, they're going to be coming for those tag team titles......and c) keeping one eye on the entrance ramp for any sign of the implied (in Malenko's pre match promo) presence of the 500lb Nelson in the arena.....</p><p> </p><p> .....in spite of that, it was the New Age Nation that picked up the victory....and in typical Outlaws style, (they are Outlaws after all), they stole it........because as the match breaks down, and a pier eight brawl breaks out, Gunn and James find themselves brawling on the outside with Snow and Candido, where the Road Dogg grabs Snow by the Al-Vatar mask, twisting it to obscure his vision....and as the official focuses on Gunn and Candido, Rey Mysterio climbs the top rope looking to fly at Faarooq......which is when the Road Dogg jumps up onto the apron, shoving the former Light Heavyweight Champion hard in the back and sending him crashing to the mat.....and all that left Faarooq to do was hit the Dominator.....for the one, two, three.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner(s):</strong> The New Age Outlaws & The Nation of Domination</p><p> right there in the middle of the road, Booker T and Stevie Ray are taking the term "Street Fight" very literal, as they continue their brawl with Wrath and Crush.....</p><p> </p><p> .....the traffic has quite literally come to a standstill here outside the arena, not that it had much choice when you have these four huge men paying no mind what so ever to the laws of the road, as they kick and punch and scratch and claw their way up the street.....</p><p> </p><p> ......Jim Ross says that we could well be seeing a preview of what's to come this Sunday night at Badd Blood, where Harlem Heat and the Dogs of War will compete in a Falls Count Anywhere: Street Fight.....you could see a pinfall in the ring, you could see a pinfall in the crowd, you could see a pinfall in the street, in the road, on the roof of a car.....quite simply put, this rivalry will be ended one way or another, because no matter where this fight goes, the official will be there to make the fall....</p><p> </p><p> .....for now however, there is no official, and no one is even attempting to make a pinfall attempt, ecause it's not about getting a victory here, this is all about hurting each other, emphasised by the fact that Booker T almost gets his head put through a nearby store window, about the same time that Crush gets backdropped onto the hood of a car....until finally we cut away, and head back into scene.....</p><p> </p><p> .....as for this match itself, it's really only come about thanks to Vince McMahon's desire to punish the Rattlesnake for his repeated assaults of the Owner of the World proclaimed Deity of the Damned has no line that he won't cross.....</p><p> </p><p> .....this was actually the match of the night, it really was very good (and one that may be worth revisiting in the future)....Austin is obviously white hot right now, and remains the number one face in the company, while Raven steadily climbed to a main event position (with really very few high profile victories) and stayed there with virtually no effort on my part, it's been all him (and his excellent promo abilities).....</p><p> </p><p> .....it probably comes as no surprise that this was largely a brawl based contest, and a lot of it took place on the outside.....Austin had the upper hand in the early onset of the match, but when Raven did take control he did exactly what McMahon wanted, he punished the Rattlesnake with every part of his environment....the steel steps, crowd barriers, the ring posts, the announce table....everything was a weapon, to the point that the official almost threw this one out on a number of occasions.....Austin rallied back and was more than happy to return the favour, introducing his opponents head to every surface that Raven had used to punish him, and even went Johnson long enough to secure another shot at the World Wrestling Federation Championship, because victory here tonight against the Hart Foundation would accomplish just that.....</p><p> </p><p> ....this match wasn't quite at the level that I'd hoped, it wasn't bad by any stretch of the imagination, but then you've got the rather odd heel/face team of Ahmed Johnson and the Wolfpac, not to mention the fact that both Ahmed Johnson and Kevin Nash are IN the match....I guess even Bret Hart can't work miracles with them both at the same time....</p><p> </p><p> ....the story of the match was always going to be the question of whether Ahmed and Nash could co-exist....and they did (for the most part).....after all they were working towards a common goal....it's not often that you'll see a Champion fighting to ADD a challenger to his title defence, but Ahmed Johnson doesn't give a damn, and he wants to get his hands on Kevin Nash, so if he has to put someone down to do it, then so be it.....</p><p> </p><p> .....of course it helped that Bret Hart was on the opposing team, because both Big Sexy and Ahmed want a piece of the Hitman, while Scott Hall just wants a shot at Owen Harts Intercontinental Championship......it's Hall that gets stuck playing the face in peril role too, as the Canadians isolate, double (and occasionally triple) team him, and use every cheap trick in the book to keep the upper hand.....and that includes Test on the outside taking out Waltman with a massive, running Big Boot on the floor.....and as the official is distracted by that, Owen chokes the life out of the Bad Guy with a nearby electrical cable......</p><p> </p><p> ......with Waltman still down, Test breaks up a tag attempt, dragging Ahmed off the apron just as Hall arrives, which Nash responds too by chasing him away from the corner, just as Hall outstretched his hand out to make the change......Test is certainly a distraction on the floor.......</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="FmffLPT.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/FmffLPT.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> ....at least he was.....until Big Poppa Pump decides he's seen enough and comes running out from the back to level the bodyguard with a Steinerline that plants the big man on his ass.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Scotty has had his problems with Test and Jericho in the last few weeks, and the Ayatollah of Rock'n'Rolla now turns his attention to the former World Wrestling Federation Champion, who's stood on the outside calling Jericho a <em>"PRISSY LITTLE B!TCH......WHY DON'T YOU COME DOWN HERE AMERICA JUNIOR, AND I'LL SHOVE A MAPLE LEAF SO FAR UP YOUR ASS YOU'LL BE ABLE TO USE IT TO BLOW YOUR NOSE"</em>.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Bret and Owen aren't overly happy to see Steiner either, and all three men take their eye off the ball long enough for Scott Hall to make it to his corner, where he makes the tag to Big Sexy Kevin Nash......</p><p> </p><p> .....Nash steps over the top rope and runs across the ring (without tearing a single quad) where he drives a knee into the back of Bret Hart, sending him flying off the apron (where he takes that patented Hitman sternum first crash landing on the crowd rail.....and if he didn't have tender ribs already, he certainly has now).....Owen turns around and gets decked with a big right hand that drops him to the apron, then grabs Jericho by the hair and drags him into the ring over the top rope.......Nash is finished, he's done playing.....and he drops the straps down, points at Ahmed telling him that he'll see him Sunday.....and then drives Jericho into the mat with the Jacknife Powerbomb for the one, the two, and the three........Kevin Nash (and Scott Hall) head to Badd Blood, and the gold may well be coming home to the Wolfpac.......</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner(s):</strong> Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Ahmed Johnson</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B+</p><p> </p><p> ringing) Ahmed rushes the ring and drops a knee into the damaged ribs of Big Sexy, followed by a series of elbow drops asking Nash how he likes that?......</p><p> </p><p> ......Ahmed rolls Nash off the top of Jericho, picks the Ayatollah of Rock'n'Rolla up and tosses him to the outside, before mounting the chest of Nash and unloading with a series of stiff right hands......</p><p> </p><p> ......Chris Jericho lands with a crash at the feet of Sean Waltman (who has pulled himself back up to a standing position following the assault from Test) and Waltman wastes no time in hitting Jericho with a number of stomps, before dragging him up by the hair and whipping him into the crowd rail, where he delivers a series of (as Jim Ross calls them) martial arts kicks against the steel......Test makes his way over to put a stop to that, and picks Waltman up in the fall away slam position, but instead of tossing him overhead, he drives the back of the Kid into the ring post......but if Chris Jericho thought he was going to catch a breather he was dead wrong, because Scott Steiner isn't done with him yet.......</p><p> </p><p> ......Ahmed is still pounding on Nash in the middle of the ring and Scott Hall looks to be heading into the ring to help out his partner.....he doesn't make it however, because the Intercontinental Champion, Owen Hart hooks him by the ankles from the outside, and drags him down to the floor, clearly looking to weaken the new number one contender to HIS title just six days before he puts it on the line, and that leaves us with a pretty chaotic scene......Ahmed hammering Nash, Jericho and Test battling Steiner and Waltman, and Owen brawling with Hall on the floor......</p><p> </p><p> .....that just leaves Bret Hart, who (while still selling his ribs masterfully) rolls gingerly into the ring behind Ahmed, where he delivers a number of flat footed kicks to the back of the WWF Champions's head, dragging him to his feet before dropping him right back down with a Russian Leg Sweep.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Bret mounts the second turnbuckle, then leaps and drives the point of his elbow into the skull of the WWF Champion, before picking up Ahmed's thick legs, looking to lock in the Sharpshooter......and that's when Kevin Nash kicks his head off his shoulders with a Big Boot.....</p><p> </p><p> .....with Hart and Ahmed both down, Nash drops to the outside briefly where he picks up the top half of the steel ring steps, sliding them under the bottom rope before re-entering the ring himself......he positions the steps in the middle of the canvas, and as Jim Ross says that we have seen this before from Kevin Nash, Big Sexy drags the Hitman to his feet by the hair......it looks as though he's about to deliver the Jacknife Powerbomb onto the hard steel......</p><p> </p><p> ......before he can deliver the devastating move however, Ahmed takes him by surprise with a series of right hands......Nash returns the favour, firing back with blows of his own, just as Bret Hart gets back to his feet to join in the fist fight.....and as the battle unfolds on the outside the ring, we have a three way brawl inside it, as just six days before Badd Blood, six days before our triangle WWF Championship match, and six days before these three men go to war, we have a preview of sorts right here to close out the show, as Jim Ross implores us to buy the Pay Per View, because we are out of time.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> A*</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Final Rating:</strong> A</p><p> </p><p> again, and this time it's Jeff Hardy that they have in their sights....and judging by the look on the faces of Vader and Bigelow, it could be a very long night for this youngster.....luckily for Mr. Hardy, the official obviously isn't in the mood for any of Sullivan's antics tonight, because before he even rings the bell he orders Bigelow and Vader to the back, threatening to disqualify Sullivan before the match even begins unless they comply.....</p><p> </p><p> .....reluctantly the pair leave, meaning that we at least have a fair one on one match to look forward to....and it's quite the clash of styles for these two men.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Jeff Hardy was indeed the first of a slew of big names to make the jump from the WWF recently, followed by the likes of Lance Storm, Rikishi Fatu, The Rock, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage...and since his arrival here in WCW Hardy has had not one, but two opportunities to become champion....first by challenging Eddie Guerrero for the United States Championship, and then by challenging the then Television Champion, Lord Steven Regal....do you know how many combined title opportunities Kevin Sullivan, Bam Bam Bigelow and Big Van Vader have had in that time? Zero.....not a one.....and that's exactly their point.....they are fed up of being overlooked and "forgotten" by the latest exile from the World Wrestling Federation, and they're not taking it any more......</p><p> </p><p> ......the match went about as well as you would expect between these two considering the obvious clash of styles....Sullivan went straight on the attack from the offset looking to surprise his (much) younger opponent....it works initially, but Hardy's speed eventually gives him the upper hand as he avoids a Kevin Sullivan charge, leaving the former Taskmaster to crash hard into the turnbuckles.....</p><p> </p><p> .....the action went pretty back and forth from there, with Hardy using a combination of his speed, ability and high risk offence, while Sullivan crouching him on the top rope and taking him out of commission, before turning his attention to Sullivan, clocking him with a series of right hands, before finally sending him crashing to the outside with one last big shot.....</p><p> </p><p> ......Rikishi has backed Vader up against the ropes, and he dazes him with a hard Samoan Headbutt, before backing up and along with the Rock, charges at the former WCW Champion, as the two men send him flying over the top rope with a double clothesline.....</p><p> </p><p> ......Jeff Hardy is somehow back to his feet, and seeing this Rikishi heads over to the corner where Bigelow is still planted crotch first on the top turnbuckle, where he drops down to all fours, inviting Hardy to get a measure of revenge.....and Jeff doesn't need asking twice, as he runs and leaps off the back of Rikishi, nailing Bigelow with a high Poetry in Motion that sends Bam Bam crashing to the floor alongside his team mates......</p><p> </p><p> ......the two big men get themselves back to their feet, and they are NOT happy.....there might be three men inside the ring, but Bigelow and Vader look ready to fight no matter the odds....Sullivan on the other hand is more calculated than his hot headed cohorts, telling his men mountains to stand down.....their time will come, and it will come when Sullivan says so, NOT when this titan trash says so, before leading his because of this, he's added a special stipulation to this one.....it's going to be a first blood match....there's no cheap way to win this one, you want the victory then you're going to have to make your opponent bleed for it.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Madusa accompanies the Pitbulls as usual, while Hart is in the corner of Fatu and Samu....and it's clear from the offset that Gary Hart has the Samoan's more focused than they have been in quite some time....</p><p> </p><p> .....the match was about as good as you could expect for a down and dirty brawl....Pitbulls 1 & 2 are certainly not inexperienced in the "extreme" environment that accompanies a first blood match, while the Samoan's are out and out savages.....the four men brutalise each other with every available object at hand in an effort to draw blood, but with the addition of Gary Hart in their corner, it's the SST that FINALLY pick up a victory over the Pitbulls, after Samu busts Pitbull #2 open with a number of blows from one contender for Eddie Guerrero's United States Championship, as Curt Hennig faces off against the Titans of Wrestling's own Buff Bagwell....and whoever wins this match will have a tough test ahead of them, because since winning the gold back at July's Bash at the Beach event, Eddie Guerrero has turned away a who's who list of challengers and seen his confidence (cockiness?) grow exponentially, to the point that he claims not to care one way or another who his next challenger is......although, he certainly seemed to care when it looked as though the Rock was positioning himself for a title opportunity, but that's a different matter for a different day.....</p><p> </p><p> .....this match was ok.....not as good as I was hoping, but it wasn't terrible.....Buff Bagwell, for as much as people may tout him as the next big thing in professional wrestling, still has a way to go in order to live up to that potential....where as Hennig (while still being head and shoulders above Buff in both popularity and ability) is not as young as he once was, and an almost career ending back injury has still slowed his step slightly....he's still perfectly capable of putting on exceptional matches, but now a days perhaps against a slightly higher caliber of worker than Buff Bagwell.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Curt still sells like a trooper though, making Buff look every bit the star that people are touting him to be, and surprisingly there's not another Titan in sight, meaning it's a relatively clean affair, the end of which saw Buff go for the Blockbuster, only for Hennig to duck....avoid the shot.....drag Bagwell back to his feet......and finish him off with the Hennig-Plex for the one, the two, and the three.....and Curt Hennig has earned a shot at the WCW United States Championship.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Curt Hennig</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B-</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" "belt" motion towards his waist....clearly he believes he's in with a good shot at bringing home the United States Championship.....although the current US Champion might have something to say on the matter, as Eddie Guerrero comes walking out onto the stage, with his Title belt hanging proudly over his shoulder.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Eddie stops to give Hennig a slow (rather sarcastic) round of applause, before pulling out a microphone to personally congratulate the new number one contender....he says that he's had his battles with Hollywood Hogan....with the Titans of Wrestling.....but he's finally in the big leagues now.....because now he's going to step in the ring, with Eddie Guerrero.....</p><p> </p><p> <em>".....and hey, I hear that you're a little bit like Mary Poppins Holmes.....I hear that you're practically perfect in every way.....well I got news for you Mary, there's only one Papi of Perfection around here esè, and his name is Eddie Guerrero....."</em></p><p> </p><p> .....Hennig smirks at that, telling Guerrero that if he's really that confident, why doesn't he walk that aisle right now and see how confident he feels after Curt Hennig puts him on his back....Guerrero scoffs at that suggestion however, telling Hennig that the big leagues means the big stage....he'll get his shot, but it will be live on Pay Per View, NOT in front of these Virginian dirtbags here tonight.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" /></p><p> </p><p> It's main event time now.....and for Chris Benoit it's a big one, but for Diamond Dallas Page it's quite possibly the biggest match of his life.....because their opponents are none other than the Mega Maniacs, two thirds of the Trinity, Randy "Macho Man" Savage, and the man who up until he got Diamond Cuttered on the outside last week, refused to even acknowledge Diamond Dallas Page's existence....the Warrior....</p><p> </p><p> ......I was a little apprehensive as to how well this match would be received, given the fact that you have two iconic main eventers in there with two upper midcarders (at best) in Page and Benoit.....turns out I shouldn't have worried, because this match was fantastic.....</p><p> </p><p> .....be it the fact that the Warrior is now walking slowly to the ring instead of blowing himself up before the match has even begun, or the fact that he's adopted a toned down, more methodical style of offence, whatever it is it's clearly working for him, while Savage is consistently one of the best performers in this and any other match.....</p><p> </p><p> .....the two faces start out really strong, going straight on the attack the second the bell rings, which was sound strategy, because they are a) clearly the underdogs, and b) Savage and Warrior weren't expecting it at all, and it puts them straight on the back foot....if the two Titan men were expecting Benoit and Page to be star struck in this one then they were clearly going to be disappointed, because the only stars DDP and the Crippler are interested in here, are their own stars rising.....</p><p> </p><p> .....it's Page that gets cut off from his opponent when it comes time for the Titans to take control....and if Dallas really wanted the Warriors attention, then he gets it here in droves, because the Tassel wearing Titan is far from happy about the perceived disrespect DDP showed him last week.....eventually however, Dallas is able to duck out of the way of a Warrior flying shoulder tackle, before making his way over to his corner, where Benoit is hopping and pacing like a caged animal, desperate to get back into the fray.....there is the usual "one man house of fire" routine from the fresher Benoit, as he takes out both Warrior and Savage single handedly, before Page finally gets back into the fray, tackling the Warrior through the ropes and out to the floor.....and this one looks like it may well be over, because Randy Savage finds himself trapped in the Crippler Crossface, and it doesn't look as though it's going to take long before the former WWF and WCW Champion gives up here.......</p><p> </p><p> .....Warrior sees this, and looks to get back into the ring to break it up....Page holds him back however.....and in a desperate measure to prevent Savage the humiliation of submitting, he picks up a steel chair from ringside and absolutely nails DDP over the head with it, right in the officials view, leaving him no choice but to call for the bell.......this one is over folks, and while Benoit and Page are victorious, it's probably not the type of victory they were hoping for.....</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner(s):</strong> Chris Benoit & Diamond Dallas Page (via Disqualification)</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> A</p><p> </p><p> <em>(OOC: Not the match rating I was expecting at all, especially with the number of road agent notes I had to use to get Savage and Warrior to agree to lose.....Keep Strong: Savage/Warrior, Protect: Savage/Warrior, Cheap Win, Deliberate DQ Win.....sometimes with these Savage/Warrior/Hogan matches I don't know who's going to win myself until I see who's willing to play ball, every bloody plan needs a contingency)</em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote /></p><p> </p><p> .......with the bell ringing, Chris Benoit must think he's secured the victory for his team.....the steel chair crashing across his back however must give him an idea that everything maybe isn't quite as it seems.....and as Warrior brings the chair down a further two times, Savage signals to the back......clearly Dallas Page and Chris Benoit need to learn their place in the pecking order, and as the entire Titans of Wrestling group make their way out from the back, it looks like class is about to be in session.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Warrior throws down the steel chair and heads to the outside, where he and the Totally Awesome Trinity of Copeland, Cage and Traylor proceed to show DDP exactly why he doesn't belong in the ring with a legend of the sport like the Warrior, beating the snot out of him....</p><p> </p><p> .....back in the ring, Savage, Buff, Hollywood, and even Levesque, surround the downed Chris Benoit......Macho, Bagwell and Hogan look about ready to unleash a monumental ass whipping....literally, because Hollywood is unstrapping that weight lifting belt....but Levesque tells them to stop.....</p><p> </p><p> ....the Titans don't look too happy about that.....especially after Levesque refusal to finish off Sting once and for all last week....but Levesque said earlier that he was going to unleash that killer instinct, picking up the steel chair discarded by the Warrior moments ago, and telling Hogan to get Benoit up to his feet.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Hollywood smiles at that, finally Levesque is acting like a Titan....and he drags the Crippler to a standing position, hooking his arms behind his back and holding him in position, as Levesque spends a few moments talking trash to the Canadian, before swinging the chair full force at his head......</p><p> </p><p> .....except Benoit moves......</p><p> </p><p> .....and it's Hollywood that takes the full force of the blow.....</p><p> </p><p> .....with the head of the family down and out in the middle of the ring, the action comes to a standstill as the Titans cease their assault and all surround Hollywood....he is out cold from that blow, and it's a blow that's come from his own team mate....</p><p> </p><p> .....to be fair, Levesque appears to be just as concerned as the rest of the group....it was an accident after all....or was it? Because as the viewers at home are treated to a replay, it's blatantly obvious that it was Levesque taking the time to talk trash that gave Benoit the opportunity it's to break free.....but on top of that, the replay shows that not only did Benoit break free wayyyyy before Levesque swung the chair.....but Levesque never took his eyes off Hogan for one second.....there's no way that shot was accidental.....was it payback for that baseball bat shot a few weeks back?.....</p><p> </p><p> .....we're going to have to wait to find out, because we are out of time.....and this show is finishing on the rare sight of the Titans gathered around the downed WCW Champion Hollywood Hogan, with looks of concern etched on their collective faces.....although as the show fades to black, Levesque's facade slips slightly, and the final shot of the evening is Jean Paul Levesque with a big smirk on his face, looking down at the man he will challenge for the World title in just two weeks at Halloween Havoc.....see you next week folks.....</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> A*</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Final Rating:</strong> B+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p></div><p></p>
