FATE Wrestling: A GDS Interactive Dynasty

FATE Wrestling

This unique diary follows a format wherein each worker on the roster has been handpicked by a member of the GDS forum to represent them. A simple two-pick (one for singles, one for tag teams) snake draft is currently underway via private message. As it stands, 17 hopefuls that you may know and interact with right here on Grey Dog Software forums will, essentially, act as a sponsor for their wrestler and their team throughout the entire course of this dynasty. Taking their pick of performers from the modern day real world, their selections shall come together to form perhaps the most interesting and star-studded fantasy roster that could possibly be assembled.

Using Fleisch's April update, I shall put the roster together and set up a company starting at Cult-size, and maintain the contracts of each worker, to turn the draft picks into a fully functioning wrestling company, complete with a unique product, a ton of money, and a good starting position. From there, the users are welcome to creative control, allowing them to do everything from name their worker to assign their gimmick. At the same time, the dynasty will be hands-off for the users, as I will make any booking decisions, as well as creative decisions that they do not provide. It is not required that they submit creative decisions, but it is certainly allowed. This makes the dynasty unique to each user involved, as they can either sit back and watch their workers achieve success (or failure), or help guide them to the successes (and failures).

This is FATE Wrestling, unlike any dynasty you've seen before.

Formerly known as Frootloop, you may know this diary writer for his many diary ideas, most successfully WWE 2009: Undisputed, and the current running <a href="http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=535572" rel="external nofollow">WWF: Anything Can Happen</a>.

crackerjack

All around great guy crackerjack is a regular predictor, and good diary writer, currently helming the wonderful <a href="http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=537680" rel="external nofollow">WCW - Afterlife</a>. Perhaps better known for TNA: House of Cards or the Life and Times of TNA, he and I were both participants in a Fantasy Bookers Draft in the Special Diaries forum earlier this year.

A 2-year member of the board whom I found contact with during one of the many drafts conducted in the TEW 2016 mods forum, he is sure to bring his A-Game in this draft.

joemurphy

Author of a fantastic Progress Wrestling diary, he is the wonderfully talented hand behind the <a href="http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=536794" rel="external nofollow">Super Awesome Modern Picture Pack</a>, which is plug and play available for Fleisch's real world mods.

Matt Shannon

A dear longstanding friend of mine to whom I introduced TEW, and the GDS forum (which he is now a Hall of Famer on), he is a terrifically gifted mod-maker and occasional diary writer, known for many historical mods that are held in high regard, such as Risky Business.

Satyr24

This regular predictor has apparently never started a thread on GDS, though he has been around since 2013. He is a quirky individual with a mind for wrestling that will be sure to impress in this dynasty.

Uncrewed

The mind behind his current diary, <a href="http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=536010" rel="external nofollow">WWF 1994: Turning the Tide</a>, Uncrewed is most often found organizing and running fantasy drafts on the TEW 2016 mod board to perfection.

thecoolestjedi12

A big fan of Pride Glory Honor Wrestling in the C-Verse, he is a regular predictor and all-around great member of the forum, who looks to drop his name in the hat here.

Happy0wns

This regular predictor and once short-time author of a great start PWG diary earlier this year has put himself in the running here in this dynasty. A good testament to what GDS is all about.

Blodyxe

A terrific board member who has been writing the fantastic <a href="http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=528799" rel="external nofollow">Rebooking Nitro's</a> dynasty for the past two and a half years! He also finds himself predicting on a great deal of diaries.

Wolfman84

Regular predictor Wolfman has been around for nearly four years (woo!), and looks to make a name for himself here in this dynasty.

Atticus

The author of 2004: A PWG Odyssey, a short-lived but still mastercrafted diary that remains one of my absolute favorites, he is a regular predictor who will hopefully soon return to the diary-writing game, but will be seen here in the meantime!

The Lloyd

An addition so late that his selections will have to be made when the draft is completely over, Lloyd is a very regular predictor, who has managed to create the perfect fantasy WWE within a diary not once, not twice, but three times, catch the third one in <a href="http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=536073" rel="external nofollow">WWE in 2016: Here we go (again)...</a>, another awesome showing after RW WWE: THREE BRANDS... & WWE: 2016 - Kayfabe Kicks Out, as well as his 21CW diary. Nobby_McDonald

Joining in even later that The Lloyd, this old man has been the author of <a href="http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=534135" rel="external nofollow">Pro Wrestling... But Not Quite As You Know It... Continued...</a> since 2013! mich over here just can't believe his second pick hasn't come up, when over half the others have yet to even see either list.
