They just squeaked in a slightly better C- show, the jerks. In more positive news, we have a great big new signing all set to debut, just in time to miss the World title challengers tournament. Let's get to it.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>WC.W Live</strong></p><p> </p><p> Raven started us off with a tasteless rib. I told him to knock it off. He told me to knock it off. Then we called each other poopyheads and that was that. Like the adults we are. I returned the favor with a rib of my own, but I'm nowhere near Raven's talent there, as there was no effect.</p><p> </p><p> 657 folks haven't forsaken us for CZW...yet.</p><p> </p><p> Kevin Nash is out to tell us about the tournament, as well as a couple of filler matches to fill the show out. Points for honesty, Kev. None for execution. <strong>Rating: D</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Shelton Benjamin vs Kiera Hogan</strong></p><p> </p><p> For some reason, Shelton's upset after Hogan's attack last week. He's such a softie. A pretty decent match out of the two of them, so let's ruin it with a run-in. A golden masked man rushes in and beats the soft right out of both of them, throwing this match out. <strong>Rating: E+</strong></p><p> </p><p> The man grabs a mic, and announces his intention to do all sorts of stuff to all sorts of people, implying consent is optional. Due to copyright, he introduces himself as...Goldustin. <strong>Rating: C</strong>. Lovely.</p><p> </p><p> North Dakota Kraken is out to talk about her match in the tourney, and has a hard act to follow after that nonsense. She does a good job of it. For her, anyway. <strong>Raing: D+</strong>. Heh, better than Nash even.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>NDK vs Ryback Reeves</strong></p><p> </p><p> Despite her woeful personality and poor lifestyle choices, she's coming along nicely, I'd say. But she seriously had no chance here, as Reeves puts her down and advances. <strong>Rating: D+</strong></p><p> </p><p> Velvet Sky is out to talk about her match with the man who interrupts her, New Jack. He puts a few moves on her, implying he'd go easy on her if she'd spend some time with him. She denies him, which I can tell you from experience is a bad move. <strong>Rating: D</strong>. Not that New Jack ever hit on me. His loss.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>New Jack vs Velvet Sky</strong></p><p> </p><p> He was a very unhappy man in this match. Well, moreso than usual. His hothead tendencies backfired here, as Sky managed to sneak in a quick pin and bailed, laughing all the way. <strong>Rating: E+</strong>. I'm sure this won't blow up in her face like the defective crackpipe Jack was apparently hitting before the match.</p><p> </p><p> Paige and Saraya Knight are out to talk about the match they have with Sabre and Lethal next. Remember filler matches Kev mentioned? <strong>Rating: D+</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Zach Jay LethalSabre vs PaigeKnight</strong></p><p><strong> for the WC.W Tag Team titles</strong></p><p> </p><p> As opposed to all those nonlethal sabres. Yeah, a throwaway title match. It's just so me. Paige actually hung pretty well with the boys. Saraya, not so much. That didn't inhibit their ability to win, as Paige backstabs Zach for the victory. <strong>Rating: D</strong></p><p> </p><p> Scott Steiner is HERE. Kevin Nash runs into him, informing him he's not medically cleared to wrestle. Steiner uses his college education to debate the doctor and....nah, he beats the crap out of Nash for getting in his way. <strong>Rating: C-</strong>. Like that was going to end any other way.</p><p> </p><p> Raven is out for his hype job in his tournament match. He instead insults Stu Bennett for five minutes. <strong>Rating: C-</strong>. He's in a mood tonight, isn't he?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Raven vs Stu Bennett</strong></p><p><strong> for the AWA/Jake Roberts memorial title</strong></p><p> </p><p> Raven is not contributing good things to the title story tonight either. I kept it short and messy to cover for Raven's weaknesses in the ring, but to no avail as he stinks so bad it makes me happy I booked him to lose. Stu Bennett moves on in the tournament and takes the AWA title with him. <strong>Rating: D-</strong></p><p> </p><p> Raven gets uppity afterwards, forgetting he just got his ass kicked. So he gets his ass kicked again. <strong>Rating: D-</strong>. I can see why he's so moody tonight.</p><p> </p><p> Matt Morgan comes out to mediocre the place, and hype his match with my boy Jack Swagger. <strong>Rating: D</strong>. I was already hyped anyway.</p><p> </p><p> Jack Swagger is here to rebut, and does so far more convincingly. Is there some connection between drug use and promos? <strong>Rating: C-</strong>. The Ultimate Warrior interviews back in the day suggest so.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Jack Swagger vs Matt Morgan</strong></p><p> </p><p> Swagger wins, of course. Both of them did good work though. I just wish Matt would get his stick work better. He improved in techinical skill, which really doesn't help much. <strong>Rating: D+</strong>. Not like he's going to be a submission machine or anything.</p><p> </p><p> We have an interview with MVP, who is here to lose in Goldustin's debut here tonight. I imagine he didn't mention that in the promo. <strong>Rating: D</strong>. Might hire him full time if he does decent enough.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>MVP vs Goldustin</strong></p><p> </p><p> This'll do, I guess. No worse than Matt Morgan. MVP does his job and gets out of the way before the real ending of the show hits. <strong>Rating: D+</strong></p><p> </p><p> Scott Steiner is out to beat the gold off of Goldustin. Just call him Ustin now. Matt Morgan and Swagger are out to help, but that goes nowhere either as Big Poppa Pump stands among the bodies of the main event scene. <strong>Rating: D+</strong>. I blame Matt for that rating. He was underwhelming in the segment. And in life.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Show Rating: C-</strong>. I am never getting that C rating.</p><p> <strong>TV rating: 0.74</strong></p><p> </p><p> I ignore the usual complaints about New Jack. MVP gets a contract offer. The horrible locker room environment gets some money thrown at it. Three hundred grand bought 5 whole percentage points. Not a great return on investment.</p><p> </p><p> We'll leave it there for right now, before my boss notices what I'm doing at work instead of working. Join us next time for stuff and things. And Matt Morgan making me sad. Later.</p>

That's better than being drunk, so ignored. Buff Bagwell beat up Jesus Rodriguez for Lord knows what reason. I yelled at him, which did nothing but piss everyone off. You know what, time for another talk with the locker room is in order. So I took a hardline stance with them all. Sheltong Benjamin, of all people, was the only one to take me up on it and walk out. Pretending he's a big deal before booking him as such. Fake it until you make it. <strong>Rating: D</strong>. Sort of like my sex life.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Goldustin vs Kiera Hogan</strong></p><p> </p><p> Kiera's sitting in for where Sheltong was supposed to be before he wandered off. The loser. I'm beginning to wonder who is helping who more in this team.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>North Dakota Kraken vs KENTA</strong></p><p> </p><p> This is more the rating I was expecting. NDK is true to her word, relentlessly pounding KENTA until beating him. New Jack is apparently good manager material. <strong>Rating: E+</strong>. And he didn't even interfere!</p><p> </p><p> After the match, New Jack joins her to beat up KENTA some more. I noticed KENTA's contract was up, and it's not like I had any real plans for him. Guess he blames Buff.</p><p> </p><p> Scott Steiner decides to talk some more. <p>Every God needs his mortal incarnation to spread the Good Word. Who better than a guy named Jesus?</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>-----------------</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Doing some contract maintainance, Stu Bennett's stuck around, Jay Lethal's still deciding, and Velvet Sky's decided to move on amicably. Not the worst results I could have had. In other news, the jerks over at CZW are announcing plans to expand. I wish them all the luck in the world. The bad kind.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>WC.W Live</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The incidents this week are already looking wild. NDK brought some friends in, only to promptly get them sent back out. Raven beat up referee Jimmy Korderas, which is getting him a fine, as these fights are getting out of control if we're beating up refs now. Raven is contrite, Jimmy calls me soft. Not what your wife said last night. The big one is between Kevin Nash and New Jack. Don't make me choose between the two! Oh, New Jack started an argument. Who cares, you're all adults, sort it out. Kev's annoyed. That all could have been worse.</p><p> </p><p>

I thought long and hard on this one. While I have my own odd way of booking and running a locker room regardless of the effect it has on morale, I can only accept so much for so long. I've decided to publically fire Buff Bagwell. While he's been a jobber for my amusement far longer than this one small dynasty, he's just not worth the hassle anymore. End of an era, folks.</p><p> </p><p>

739 people have mixed feelings about Buff's departure.</p><p> </p><p>

Kevin Nash brings his grumpy self out to hype the show. We have the finals of the #1 contender's tournament, as well as the announcement of a big show coming up at the end of the month, called WC.W Grand Gauntlet. The winner of the totally-not-a-Royal-Rumble will recieve a totally-not-Money-in-the-Bank style contract. Totally. <strong>Rating: C-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>New Jack vs Saraya Knight</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Jack decided to skip the failed attempt to hit on her and got right to the violence. He did indeed bring the violence in his own lackluster way, picking up the victory. <strong>Rating: E</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Post-match, NDK joins Jack in a celebratory two-on-one beatdown. Paige makes the run in, chasing off my favorite couple. <strong>Rating: D-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Kiera Hogan is backstage, when Goldustin appears. Seriously, he does a gold themed entrance into the locker area. He says he thinks she's got potential. and would like her to become mates with him. After a pause long enough to be awkward, he says teammates. Kiera reluctantly agrees. <strong>Rating: D-</strong>. And he disappears in a poof of gold dust. That's two words, can't sue me Vince.</p><p> </p><p>

Raven is out to hype his match with Jack Swagger, mostly because I keep forgetting to get him mic time. <strong>Rating: C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Raven vs Jack Swagger</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Just getting Raven a win here, as Swagger's annoyed me enough to shuffle him down the card for a time. Especially if he turns up stoned again. <strong>Rating: D+</strong>. Hey, he was clean!</p><p> </p><p>

Velvet Sky is about to give an interview when North Dakota Kraken shows up, still in a foul mood from Paige's appearance earlier. She doesn't like the way Velvet's treated her man New Jack lately, and she wants to fight about it. <strong>Rating: D</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Velvet Sky vs North Dakota Kraken</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Guess who forgot neither of these ladies has much for psychology? I won't say for sure, but I'm guessing it's Buff Bagwell. NDK is the obvious winner here, since she's not leaving our happy little drug infested home for wrestlers who can barely stand each other. <strong>Rating: E</strong></p><p> </p><p>

We have montage next as Scott Steiner is training Jesus Rodriguez to repay him for his help. This most consists of Scott berating him for being unable to match the feats of Big Poppa Pump. <strong>Rating: C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Tamina vs Jesus Rodriguez</strong></p><p> </p><p>

And it must of worked, as he takes this match fairly easily. Tamina was literally the fourth choice in this match, as there was no one else willing to do the job for poor Jesus. <strong>Rating: E+</strong>. You'd think the Steiner seal of approval would be enough.</p><p> </p><p>

MVP is here to fight Matt Morgan. Well, not right now, right after this. Which is an interview about his upcomng match with Matt Morgan. Next will be the match. <strong>Rating: D</strong>. Everybody got all that?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Matt Morgan vs MVP</strong></p><p> </p><p>

I was going to continue the joke, but I was too pleased with the result of this match, which included improvements from both parties as well as a <strong>Rating: C-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Jay Lethal is backstage with Summer Rae. He's asking if she's ready for her debut. She tells him she's been ready for months now. <strong>Rating: D-</strong>. Yeah, I'm forgetful.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Summer Rae and Jay Lethal vs Goldustin and Kiera Hogan</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Jay Lethal, random tag partner jobber to the stars. Didn't this used to be Bully Ray's job? Anyway, Kiera gets the pin on him, as the partnership seems to have started well. <strong>Rating: D</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ryan Reeves vs Stu Bennett</strong></p><p><strong>

for the AWA Heavyweight title</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Typical me, getting so caught up in the midcard I forgot to schedule promos for the main event. Stu Bennett is getting the win here, as I have no faith that Reeves would lay down for Scott later, the big whiner. <strong>Rating: C-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Scott Steiner comes out to beat up Reeves anyway, to get his heat back and make sure he lays down for him one way or the other. <strong>Rating: C-</strong>. You'd think people would learn to just lose the damned matches I ask them to.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Final Rating: C-</strong></p><p><strong>

TV Rating: Same as the last couple</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Stu emails me to tell me he thinks NDK has no future in WC.W. Boy is he mistaken. Perry Saturn is back to ring shape again, so good news there. In more good news, we gained popularity, so we're clawing our way back to regional again. I still want that C rated show though.</p><p> </p><p>

Join us next time for the go-home show on the road to WC.W total ripoff of WWE concepts. Original!</p>

In contract news, Jay Lethal has resigned after a worryingly long time. NDK has also got an offer to work for IWA:Mid South. I'm pleased at this, unless she leaves of course, in which case I'll burn this dynasty to the ground.

WC.W Live

Ryan Reeves kicks off the incidents, as he tried to bring some friends backstage. I told him he wasn't allowed to have friends at all. He was fine with that. Perry Saturn returned just in time to get hauled into Wrester's Court for being late picking up his travel buddy. Goldustin took care of it for me, and to no one's surprise, handled it way better than I would have.

908 people will be surprised I didn't book Saturn this show.

Big Kev is out to run the show down for us. Tag match involving the champ and his challenger next week, New Jack in a hardcore match, as well as lots of women. What more can you ask for? Rating: C-

Ryan Reeves comes out to talk to Kev, and says he wants a match with Jesus Rodriguez, as he's tired of the little man. Nash, no fan of little men himself, finds this argument compelling and does it. Rating: D+

DDP is backstage, giving an interview with NDK and New Jack. No real purpose beyond getting some mic practice for the Kraken. Rating: D-. So of course New Jack gets the boost.

Zach Broadsword of the Second Kind vs New Jack

Hardcore match

I must have had some purpose hiring Zach Sabre beyond these sword jokes, but I don't remember it now, so he can just job to New Jack. He's mostly working New Japan these days anyway. Rating: E+. Think he must have just got overshadowed by all the new hires doing so well.

The usual two on one post match beatdown ensues. Rating: E. This is working to get Kraken over though.

More training montage for Jesus and Scott. While the ratings are good, Jesus is just not getting anywhere with this so far. Rating: C-

It's working fine for Ryan Reeves though, as he runs down the list of reasons Jesus sucks. Seven minutes worth is a long list. Rating: C

Jesus Rodriguez vs Ryan Reeves

Good chemistry, bad psychology. Evens out alright as the match goes about as well as you'd expect between a huge wrestler and a ring announcer. Rating: D+. The Scott Steiner method of training needs work.

Jay Lethal is backstage talking to Kiera Hogan, curious as to why she's working with Goldustin, who is very poorly hidden behind a lamp with his own gold lampshade on his head. She says that she feels some kinship for him, as both are children of wrestling legends. They leave the room, Kiera hitting the lampswitch, which gets a high pitched squeal out of Goldustin. Rating: D. Kiera was AWFUL in this.

MVP has a promo about nothing in particular, as he's not scheduled for a match or anything. Not even sure he was scheduled for this either, but here we are. Rating: D+

Kiera Hogan vs Dana Brooke

Bra and Panties match

Because why not? Got Dana a match, Kiera a win, and good reason for the male crowd not to stand up for a few minutes. Rating: D

Paige is out to talk about her match with NDK tonight, as she's tired of all the attacks and thinks NDK can't do anything on her own with New Jack backing her up. Rating: C-. Why didn't someone tell me she could cut promos like this?

As Paige is heading down to the rin, New Jack proves her right immediately by beating her up and stripping her down before rolling her into the ring to start her match. Rating: D+

Paige vs North Dakota Kraken

If this was a Bra and Panties match, would half naked Paige be a forfeit? Despite the beatdown prior, Paige manages to pull it together and pick up the victory anyway. Even Kraken can't win all the time. Rating: D-. Especially when she's high.

Goldustin and Scott Steiner are out to hype their match, which I imagine is just Goldustin talking and Scott staring at him in shock the whole time. Rating: C-

Matt Morgan and Stu Bennett vs Goldustin and Scott Steiner

Good chemistry from Goldie and Scott. The match sucked a bit as I kept Scott out of most of it for fear he'd hurt himself before the big show. Scott and Stu ended up brawling outside near the end, leaving Matt in to finish the match by pinning Goldustin. Rating: D+

But never mind that, as we follow Stu and Scott to a long and involved brawling sequence throught he crowd, with no resolution as we close out the show. Rating: C-

Show Rating: C-. Of course it is.

TV Rating: 0.80

Goldustin tells me to give Paige more promo time. You got it, man. Kiera wants a raise, and gets one. NDK's on drugs, no one cares.

So the rundown for the big show runs like such:

WC.W and AWA World title unification match

Scott Steiner vs Stu Bennett

The Grand Gauntlet

WC.W Tag Team title match

New Jack and North Dakota Kraken vs Paige and Saraya Knight

Not a huge card, but hey, I have a battle royale to book. See you when I get there.

<p>I hadn't done any prediction before because I felt that the possibility of Steiner and New Jack/NDK losing would be so inconceivable they're mostly foregone conclusions anyway. Of course, I guess with this diary one should never be too sure of anything.</p><p> </p><p>

As for the gauntlet, that could go any way, but I'm with Bigelow Cartwheel that Perry Saturn would a sentimental favourite simply because he's Perry Saturn.</p><p> </p><p>

And as to the Final 4....considering DW's usual style, I wouldn't put it past him to just set the winner and let the game determine the other finalists. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>I really ought to do more of these big shows, like a real wrestling promotion or something. I dislike the monthly model, but a bimonthly thing might not be so bad. Less names to think up anyway.</p><p> </p><p>

The hiring surge is back on, both to freshen up the worker pool and allow me to start firing more troublemakers who aren't useful or favorites of mine. With the two hundred way war between me and the entire North American indy scene, I do need to start focusing on quality shows, though not at the expense of making sure my friends get over. I am an indy promoter, after all.</p><p> </p><p>

The war is making it somewhat difficult, as a lot of folks refuse to sign with me because they're working with the enemy. It seems they haven't figured out we're the next big thing around here. A few folks are sadly neglected by the other companies though, and we'll correct that. If nothing else, we offer exposure like no other small company.</p><p> </p><p>

Former WC.W member VADER has entered the Hall of Immortals. I heard he worked for some other companies too, but I can't remember the details.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>WC.W Grand Gauntlet</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Well, I knew this day would come. New Jack showed up too messed up to work. Oddly, on soft drugs. Swagger can relate. Good thing he didn't have a title shot on the rare big show I book. Sigh. I fined him, which he was unhappy with. Not nearly as unhappy as I am.</p><p> </p><p>

NDK decided to taunt and beat up Kiera Hogan. Normally I'd let it go, but I'm in a bad mood now, so she's getting a fine too. Which neither of them are happy about. Good, we're all pissed off now. I decide to pull an elaborate rib on Ryan Reeves to make myself feel better. The locker room liked it just fine, but not Ryan or Stu Bennett, who is a buddy of his. Whoops. Well I feel better anyway.</p><p> </p><p>

1067 people believe this will be the best Royal Rumble knockoff ever.</p><p> </p><p>

Big Kev is out to welcome us to the show. He breaks the bad news that New Jack will not be here tonight, as he's recovering after saving a bus full of orphans from a fire set by evil terrorists. As opposed to those nice terrorists running around. Unfortunately, that means the tag title match will not be happenng tonight. North Dakota Kraken walks out around then, and saddened as she is by the lack of her mentor tonight, she is perfectly willing to go on without him, and take on the girls herself. Kevin just shrugs and says go for it. <strong>Rating: D</strong>. Truly we do not deserve these two heroes.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>North Dakota Kraken vs Saraya Knight and Paige</strong></p><p><strong>

for the WC.W Tag Team title</strong></p><p> </p><p>

You didn't think I'd let a no-show ruin my push of NDK, did you? Matter of fact, she dominated even two on one. Paige managed to start a comeback, but an attempt at a top rope move went bad, as Kraken shoved her off and sent Paige crashing all the way down to the guardrail ragdoll style. I'm not sure if that was planned or NDK just straight up trying to kill someone on live TV. Either way, awesome. Saraya manages to sneak in a quick rollup, grabbing some tights to secure the BS victory and title retention. The fiend. <strong>Rating: E+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

A gentleman comes out to debut with a promo. He calls himself Whitey Vanilla, and he is here to cleanse the WC.W of all the undesireable elements in it. Yeah I'm doing a racist gimmick in my comedy dynasty. What do I know about tone? He decides to call out his first victim, dirty Lithuanian Ken Shamrock. <strong>Rating: D-</strong>. He's a great racist, according to the game though.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ken Shamrock vs Whitey Vanilla</strong></p><p> </p><p>

And yes, he's purging the WC.W of a guy that's never worked here before. At least he thinks he is, as Shamrock dismantles him and taps him out with an anklelock in no time flat before leaving, likely never to return. This match mostly exists because I forgot I needed a match with a story telling focus. Count how many times matches are booked for reasons starting with "I forgot...". <strong>Rating: E+</strong>. Good payday for Ken.</p><p> </p><p>

We get a hype video about the title match tonight. Because even I remember to promote big matches every now and then. <strong>Rating: D+</strong>. Don't worry, I'm sure it won't become a habit.</p><p> </p><p>

Scott Steiner is out to do his half of the hyping. Most of it is talking about what a scrub his opponent is while Jesus nods in agreement. <strong>Rating: B-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Grand Gauntlet</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Raven comes out first, Velvet Sky second. Raven immediately eliminates her, then rolls out of the ring and grabs a book, rolling back in and lounging in the corner and reading. Eventually, MVP enters and they start going at it. Mia Yim and Jack Swagger are in next into the fray, until Jim Duggan enters and cleans house, getting a good nostalgia pop that's interupted by Matt Morgan. He tosses MVP and Jim right back out again and begins beating the rest of them around.</p><p> </p><p>

You know it's a long match when I use a paragraph break. Saraya Knight is in next, followed by Paige, and the two team up to keep their battered selves in the match. Goldustin is in, just as the girls dump Jack Swagger out, and he goes after Raven, who has been hiding in his corner as much as possible during the match. Jesus comes in next, going after his Lord's old enemy Morgan. This goes poorly, as Matt dumps him out quickly as well as Mia for good measure. Kiera Hogan races in next and saves Goldustin from the wrath of Matt, the two of them keeping him down until the tag champs square off against them, leaving Matt recovering and Raven relaxing in his corner.</p><p> </p><p>

North Dakota Kraken comes in next, much to the delight of Paige and Saraya, who jump her as soon as she slides into the ring. Raven actually bothers to get to his feet and jumps into the fray, helping Kraken out. While that's going on, Matt Morgan tosses Kiera, then gets attacked by a raging Goldustin, who nearly but not quite gets Morgan out. Dana Brooke is in next, and does not seem anxious to get in the middle of any of this. She decides to helps stomp Paige and Saraya, only to get smacked down by Raven and NDK</p><p> </p><p>

Jay Lethal is in next, and has to duck as Dana's tossed out by Raven. He backs away as NDK and Raven look at him, before Matt and Goldustin's fight crashes into all of them, and everyone's just laying around for a bit. And speaking of folks lying down on the job, The Godfather makes his way down next. As he climbs up on the apron Matt Morgan casually boots him right off. Then he chucks Saraya right over to land on top of him. Paige jumps on his back and pounds on his face with forearms, before getting peeled off by Kraken and thrown out. The refs have to restrain her from going back after NDK as they jaw at each other.</p><p> </p><p>

Tamina is in next, sliding in after shoulder checking The Godfather back down to the floor. Matt Morgan tries the boot trick again, but she ducks it and he crotches himself on the top rope. She gives him a shove to end his reign of terror in the match, and turns just in time for Jay Lethal to crossbody both of them over the top rope. </p><p> </p><p>

Raven, Goldustin, and Kraken are getting to their feet, eyeing each other. Raven puts his hands up, steps forward and says something to the two of them. Goldie and NDK listen, look at each other, and nod back to Raven. They all retreat to seperate corners, and do nothing but rest until the next entrant.</p><p> </p><p>

Ryan Reeves is in now, and he slowly approaches the ring as all three wrestlers in the ring stand waiting for him. The announcers mention that if he doesn't enter the ring by the time the next entrant is called, he's disqualified. He seems to know it too, as after a few feints he psyches himself up and slides in, only to be ganged up on immediately. He fights back hard, but eventually the numbers win and he's eliminated. The three wait for the next entrant, who turns out to be Summer Rae. She starts talking as she climbs up on the apron, and they back off a step. She climbs in the ring, and jumps right over the top rope and down to the floor herself. After that, the last entrant comes out, making the...</p><p> </p><p>

Final Four: North Dakota Kraken, Perry Saturn, Goldustin, Raven.</p><p> </p><p>

Saturn is smiling up at them, circling around the ring as Raven quietly steps back. As Saturn slides in, Raven attacks NDK, distracting Goldustin as Saturn gets all over him. Once Dustin is out, Raven and Saturn double clothesline NDK out of the match. They go to do the same to Goldustin, but Raven steps back at the last second, and pulls Saturn's feet out from under him, sending both Goldustin and Saturn out, leaving Raven as the winner of the match.</p><p> </p><p>

Until The Godfather climbs in on the opposite side of the ring. Raven raises his arms to the crowd, who cheer less for him than The Godfather starting up train behind him. Raven turns around just in time to get bundled over, and Raven spills to the floor as the crowd goes nuts for The Godfather stealing the victory as the ring announcer declares him the winner.</p><p> </p><p>

Outside, Raven has got a referee by the shirt and is yelling at him about something. The crowd and The Godfather watch as the announcer and the ref talk for a bit, before the ring announcer raises the mic to his mouth and says...</p><p> </p><p>

"Due to The Godfather not entering the ring before the next entrant had, the referee has declared him disqualified. Therefore, the winner of the Grand Gauntlet is Raven!"</p><p> </p><p>

Raven celebrates briefly before The Godfather climbs out of the ring and chases him down.</p><p> </p><p>

And finally, that match write-up is over. Phew, I need a nap.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Rating: D</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Stu Bennett is out to do the other half of the hyping, talking about the long road he's taken to get to this match, and how he's going to conquer Big Poppa Pump's peaks. That sounds rather suggestive. <strong>Rating: C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Jesus Rodriguez is out and announces Scott Steiner's massive entrance for the main event. He just monotones Stu Bennett's. <strong>Rating: D+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Scott Steiner vs Stu Bennett</strong></p><p><strong>

for the WC.W and AWA World titles</strong></p><p> </p><p>

An incredibly long singles match by WC.W standards(more than five mintues), I wasn't sure Scott would be up to it even with the slow build. I was correct. Scott dominated the early portion with his power, Stu managed to ground and pound him to keep himself in the match. In the end, it came down to endurance, as Stu was just able to wear Scott down enough to finally keep the titan down, and secured himself the most unlikely victory in WC.W history, a clean victory over Scott Steiner. <strong>Rating: C-</strong>. Naturally Scott was unhappy over the decision. I wasn't thrilled either, but we'll get to that shortly.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Final Rating: C-</strong>. GODDAMMIT</p><p>

<strong>TV Rating: 0.87</strong></p><p> </p><p>

HOLY GOD 44 emails. Granted, this was also the end of the month, but still. Most of them are the complaints from literally everyone about NDK and Jack Swagger being high. Raven and Velvet Sky just picked up injuries, Raven's serious enough to keep him out for a couple months.</p><p> </p><p>

Because I didn't have enough good news already, we are now 3rd in the regional battles, losing to our old buddies CZW as well as Ring of Honor. While 3rd out of 11 is not the worst results possible, it's still just second loser. The good news is popularity is slowly climbing up to pre-product change levels, and we aren't far behind in the show grades. We NEED to get to C and up on the regular to keep up though.</p><p> </p><p>

NDK and Swagger both get to eat fines for this drug stuff, as for some reason complete negligence is getting me nowhere. NDK's behavior improved, Swagger not so much. Other than that, a few more signings to clear up(including one huge one) and we'll get to WC.W Live next post. </p><p> </p><p>

Couple more things and we'll wrap this massive post up for the night. First, the Scott Steiner loss. My love for Scott Steiner is well documented, and obvious from the course of the dynasty. But he is old injury prone. Don't tell him I said that. Stu's no spring chicken either, but he's only creeping up on 40 rather than two weeks away from collecting Social Security. So Scott's going to move down the card. Slowly, to be sure, but it's happening. </p><p> </p><p>

The larger issue is our relative stasis here in the regional race. Stu might fit the bill up top, might not. But in general I'm on the fence between just pushing my favorites regardless of quality, and getting enough good shows to start making the climb towards the big leagues again. Not going to abandon the flat out insanity that marks what got WC.W to where it is, just a slight shift of focus. I would certainly welcome opinions on where we're going from here. I do this mostly for me, because all writers do amd I'm even more egocentric than most writers, but without you guys following along I might as well keep this on my hard drive for my own giggles. So chime in if you've an opinion.</p><p> </p><p>

Finally, the prediction contest. Given the shock of the main event and the no-show of everyone's favorite crack addicted grandpa, it comes down to the Gauntlet results, and as such the winner is Bigelow Cartwheel, who managed two out of the final four in the match. To the victor go the spoils, and the spoils are...</p><p> </p><p>

Main Event Story. Select any wrestler currently wrestling for us, and they will be involved in a storyline with main eventers until the next big show or two months, whichever comes first. You may cash this in here or by PM now or whenever you want until the end of the dynasty. </p><p> </p><p>

And now I'm done for the night. See you next time, when I write a whole lot less. Night folks.</p><p> </p><p>

P.S. For the record, Tommy Dreamer wouldn't return my phone calls.</p>

<p>Darin Walker I have spent the weekend slowly but enjoyingly reading your dynasty and I just want to say you are awesome. </p><p> </p><p>

You have inspired me to start a new save on TEW and solely using old time wrestlers, I too love Scott Steiner and I think I will push him as my main guy, I am thinking of calling my wrestling promotion Wrestlecrap Championship Wrestling.</p><p> </p><p>

Just one question I want to ask.</p><p> </p><p>

Do you use Auto Booker when planning your shows or do it all yourself?</p>

New Jack had a bad day, as Paige gave him everything she had, even sparing time to mouth off to NDK. This got under the Kraken's skin, as she jumped in and went after Paige, getting New Jack DQ'd. Saraya came out to join the mess as well, causing the backstage staff to break them up too. <strong>Rating: D</strong>. The road agents are getting a lot of work on screen tonight breaking up these fights and telling me New Jack's wasted like it's news. </p><p> </p><p> Goldustin is here to talk about his match with Matt Morgan, which no one noticed because he was still painted like a locker. <strong>Rating: D+</strong>. <p>Darin Walker how do you set up a promotion they way you did.</p><p>

How do you set it up with your product etc.</p><p> </p><p>

Is there an option to have it how you had it or did you tweak an existing philosophy?</p><p> </p><p>

Also did you start your own promotion as I was thinking of just starting with WCW as I can just import them for a different database and just lower their popularity etc?</p><p> </p><p>

Also Darin Walker do you have any other dynasties that you can link me to as I enjoy your style on here and would like to see how you get on with other real life promotions from certain eras.</p>

<p>I had no idea there were so many Perry Saturn fans around here. Besides me, obviously.</p><p> </p><p>

So I think I'm breaking up the New Day. Two of the three were coming up on contract renewal, and I snuck some bids in. Sadly only one of them is seriously considering it, but it's the one I wanted most. Fingers crossed.</p><p> </p><p>

FIP is now hostile with me. Better than another war, I guess, given my track record lately. WWE is also offering a contract to Taz, of all people. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>W.CW Live</strong></p><p> </p><p>

No incidents again. Ominous.</p><p> </p><p>

1500 Perry Saturn fans came with mops.</p><p> </p><p>

Kevin Nash is out for the usual, but Stu Bennett is in no mood. He comes out and demands himself a rematch. Before Kev can answer, Raven comes hobbling out. He says he is willing to give Stu the match, but urges him to reconsider. Raven's known Saturn a long time, and knows what this title means to him. Stu doesn't care, and Raven shrugs it off as Kevin announces our main event World title match. <strong>Rating: C</strong>. I love Perry, but I wasn't letting him sink this promo. God bless Raven.</p><p> </p><p>

Whitey Vanilla is out with his microphone, and he hasheard that Matt Morgan's great-grandmother might have had relations with a Castilian man. Thankfully he is here to relieve us us this dire European threat. <strong>Rating: D-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Whitey Vanilla vs Matt Morgan</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Yeah, Matt destroys this guy. Remember when he was a perennial title contender? Yeah, neither do I. <strong>Rating: D-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Paige and Saraya are backstage arguing. Paige feels Saraya isn't holding up her end of the team. She's quite right, but Knight is still offended of course. They put this discussion aside, as they have a rematch of their own later tonight. <strong>Rating: D</strong></p><p> </p><p>

RVD is out to tell us about Sami Callihan. He's heard good things about him elsewhere, but RVD wants to show Sami what hardcore is really all about. <strong>Rating: C-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Rob Van Dam vs Sami Callihan</strong></p><p><strong>

Light Tube match</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The destuction of Sami Callihan continues, as getting thrown off the top turnbuckle through a bunch of tubes and a table laying outside the ring is still not enough to injure this guy. RVD wins anyway, and will probably take an hour to brush the glass out of his hair. <strong>Rating: C-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

New Jack and NDK are out to hype, declaring the rematch to be a table match. <strong>Rating: E+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Paige and Saraya Knight vs New Jack and North Dakota Kraken</strong></p><p><strong>

Table match for the Tag titles</strong></p><p> </p><p>

In a rare back and forth match, Paige and Saraya manage to get NDK through a table, but argue over who gets to put New Jack through. Paige then shoves Knight, and grabs her and hurls her through a table standing in the corner before stalking off. New Jack looks very confused by this, and the ref just shrugs at him. <strong>Rating: D-</strong>. No contest in a table match. I'm innovating here.</p><p> </p><p>

Stu Bennett was out, talking about how lucky Saturn was to win, and Stu will show him just what the title means to him, too. <strong>Rating: C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Godfather vs Bob Holly</strong></p><p><strong>

Hardcore match for the Hardcore title</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Bob Holly is here to win and establish this new title. Godfather is here for other reasons...<strong>Rating: E+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Godfather dances post-match with Summer Rae and Dana Brooks, who probably thought they'd be doing better things around here. <strong>Rating: C-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Paige is packed and ready to leave for the day. She walks down the hallway when NDK and New Jack jump her, beat her up, and toss her through the catering table. A referee comes out of nowhere and declare them the winners, banging on a serving tray instead of a bell. <strong>Rating: D+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Jesus Rodriguez announces himself heading into his match, declaring himself the successor to Scott Steiner's glory. <strong>Rating: D</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jesus Rodriguez vs Jim Duggan</strong></p><p> </p><p>

I'm going to say he's not quite there yet, though he does manage to beat Hacksaw. <strong>Rating: E</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Mia Yim comes out of her dressing room, as a member of the ring crew walks by wearing gold paint. She follows him for a bit, then runs into Kiera Hogan, also wearing paint, who wishes her luck in tonights match. She turns to walk away, and nearly runs into a cardboard cutout of Goldustin. She smacks it down and stalks off. <strong>Rating: D+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Mia Yim vs Goldustin</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Goldustin manages a win, as Mia just seems a little off for some reason. Probably because the ref was wearing gold paint too. <strong>Rating: D+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Stu Bennett is heading out to his match, when Raven stops him. He offers him one last chance to back away, seeming sincerely worried for Stu. He shrugs past Raven, telling him he should worry more about Saturn. <strong>Rating: C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Stu Bennett vs Perry Saturn</strong></p><p><strong>

for the W.CW World title</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Not much wrestling here, as they just start pounding at each other right off. Stu eventually gets the upper hand, pounding on Saturn while he's down. Raven goes to the barricade and grabs a mop from a fan. Wait, I was just joking about the fans bringing mops! He slides the mop into the ring, and Saturn smashes it into Stu, drawing a DQ and retaining, beating on Stu until the ref pulls him off. <strong>Rating: D</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Show Rating: Another damned C-</strong></p><p><strong>

TV Rating: 1.04 </strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>W.CW HAS RETURNED TO REGIONAL</strong>. Well, at least until the end of month regional battle after the grace period. New Jack gets another fine for drugs, but doesn't seem to care much. You'd think an addict would be concerned about losing money.</p><p> </p><p>

Until next time, when we'll see how much of WWE's detritus we can turn to money. The answer: ALL OF IT</p>

Raven tried to warn him. Before that can be addressed, Scott Steiner and Jesus are out to discuss Scott gettig his shot, as the longest reigning champion in W.CW history ought to. Kevin agrees he has a point, but then MVP is out, saying he's been overlooked as a contender for too long, which is then interrupted yet again, this time for golden confetti coming down from the rafters. Finally, Kevin has enough, and books a three-way tag team match for everyone, plus two other folks to be named later. Whoever gets the pin gets the title shot. <strong>Rating: C</strong></p><p> </p><p> From that mess to New Jack bumping into The Godfather backstage. Might bump up the injury frequency soon.</p><p> </p><p> Kiera Hogan and a puppet of Goldustin are out to have a hype promo for the main event. The puppet helped teach her more about acting. Make of that what you will. <strong>Rating: D</strong></p><p> </p><p> Matt Morgan is walking down the hall, where Godfather is leaning against a doorway with some rather suggestive sounds coming out of it. And I did! Swagger wins this one, as the crowd is stunned to see proper wrestling, I'm sure. <strong>Rating: D</strong>. Not as good as New Jack getting laid apparently.</p><p> </p><p> Stu Bennett and MVP are adding their voices to the hype train. And massively disappointing me with it. <strong>Rating: D+</strong>. Where's my C promos guys?</p><p> </p><p> Summer Rae is out with the Godfather. Apparently he didn't like the way Matt treated him, and dispatched Summer Rae to handle it, since Dana is....occupied. <strong>Rating: D+</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Summer Rae vs Matt Morgan</strong></p><p> </p><p> About as good as the Swagger match with a fifth of the time. The Godfather didn't even bother interfering, as Summer took care of Morgan herself and somehow managed to submit him <strong>Rating: D</strong></p><p> </p><p> Summer dances in victory. If Morgan could pull ratings like this, he wouldn't be sliding down the card on a greased chute. <strong>Rating: C+</strong>. Greasy Matt Morgan, ugh.</p><p> </p><p> Paige is out next, and she's ready to move forward in her career, not held back any longer by Saraya. To that end, she has challenged Bob Holly, so let's get to that. <strong>Rating: D+</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Paige vs Bob Holly</strong></p><p><strong> for the Hardcore title</strong></p><p> </p><p> Nice thing about a harcore match is you don't have to be very sneaky to interfere. Saraya does so, still upset at Paige, but screws it all up, clocking Holly with a chair instead of Paige, then getting knocked down as Paige grabs a quick pin and the Hardcore title. <strong>Rating: D-</strong></p><p> </p><p> After the match, Paige makes fun of Saraya for being so stupid she can't even cheat right. Ouch. <strong>Rating: C-</strong>. This would have helped the storyline if didn't forget to seperate these two as allies. Not surprisingly, Kiera had trouble keeping up with all the vets in the ring. The match itself was a cluster, as even partner were breaking up pins to prevent someone else from getting the title. Eventually RVD managed to sneak in a frog splash on Stu Bennett, securing himself a title shot. <strong>Rating: D+</strong>. Hogan might not be ready for the main event.
