Hysteric Enigma may be on the a roll, but Jigsaw was going it alone in this one. Callihan was ferocious, wanting to prove HE was just the better unit on their last meeting. Jigsaw takes too much time on the top rope, allowing Sami Callihan to recover and scoop him up for the Cradle Killer.

In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Sami Callihan defeated Jigsaw in 8:18 by pinfall with a Cradle Killer.

This match got the crowd buzzing. Michael Elgin was the one of the first eliminated in the six-way bout at Friday Nightmare on 13th Street, and it seems he has a bit of a climb if he wants a shot at the WHC now. Marty Scurll of the Bullet Club coming off a big win at 13th Street, and Matt Morgan's main show in-ring debut. He made an impact when attacking Ryback in the main event, and perhaps a bigger one here tonight. Marty Scurll tried his usual dastardly tactics, and then some. Props to the Villain for combating the much larger opponent at times, but Morgan was not having it. A true main eventer in his hard-fought victory, putting Marty down with a beautiful Hellevator near the 17 minute mark.

In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Matt Morgan defeated Marty Scurll in 16:50 by pinfall with a Hellevator.

Morgan: 61, Villain: 43

Rating: 56

http://tew2016.com/images/images/Ricochet.jpghttp://tew2016.com/images/images/KUSHIDA.jpghttp://tew2016.com/images/images/vs.pnghttp://tew2016.com/images/images/HarrySmith2.jpghttp://tew2016.com/images/images/LanceArcher2.jpg

The first quarter final match-up in the tournament to crown the first ever ROTO World Tag Team Champions. Killer Elite Squad are the most cohesive unit in the company, that much is true. Back-to-back losses to the Dude Bros. must have demoralized the big men, however. The Time Splitter and the Future of Flight hopped into the Delorian, using their speed advantage to fight the larger KES. The American Psycho lands a Burning Hammer, looking to pin KUSHIDA. Ricochet breaks up the pin, but is instantly clotheslined over the top rope by Harry Smith afterward. Archer goes to grab KUSHIDA again, but is locked in the KUSHIDA Lock! The Psycho submits! Kenny King is on much more of a roll that Petey Williams, though, and in this first time ROTO meeting for the two, that is the story. Petey fights hard, but King manages to land a Royal Flush to put away the Canadian Destroyer before eight minutes. Very fast-paced, very good.

In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Kenny King defeated Petey Williams in 7:44 by pinfall with a Royal Flush.

This match got the crowd buzzing. Hysteric Enigma are men possessed, but they were not the only team to come up with a big victory at Friday Nightmare. LDRS did, but the Dude Bros. did as well. They cemented themselves as a unit with a second straight victory over the Killer Elite Squad. Trent and Matt Riddle on their own could not buy a victory, but as a team, they are now 3 and out. A minor slip-up from Jigsaw sees him eat a face full of apron, leaving Marufuji alone for the BTS into Dudebuster combo. Good work from all four, its a shame both teams aren't going to be in the Semi-Finals. Next week, the opponents for RicoSHIDA and the Dude Bros. will be determined, respectively.

In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Dude Bros. defeated Hysteric Enigma in 12:15 when Matt Riddle defeated Naomichi Marufuji by pinfall with a BTS into Dudebuster.

In terms of in-ring work, Naomichi Marufuji was head and shoulders above everyone else. Every other guy in the locker room pays respect to the boots that were laced before they were even driving. Want a veteran to fight? Look no further, Ryback. Cody sat on the sidelines for five weeks of ROTO, and Kenny came up just short in the six-way for the WHC. Looking at their faces when they arrive, it is clear both of these men are laser-focused on becoming the ROTO World Tag Team Champions. Their opponents have teamed together before, but have yet to find victory! Even Hysteric Enigma, who have beaten Liger & Callihan, did not make it through to the next round, so competition is stiff in the early ROTO tag division! Once the stars arrived, though, the outcome may have become a foregone conclusion. Kenny Omega brawls a bit with Callihan on the outside, managing to land a One-Winged Angel onto the steel steps! Liger falls victim to a Cross Rhodes! That's two Bullet Club teams heading to the Semi-Finals!
