thadian
I made my own promotion. I have a broadcaster (subscription). Is it better to run live events broadcast on network, or a b-show? Assuming a third, minor brand used to develop wrestlers. What factors should be considered? The only factor I am aware of is that workers work harder on events. Wouldn't the coverage be the same? Wouldn't the skill gain be the same? What am I missing here? Educate me, community!
Matt_Black
I've just started doing something similar, and I opted to do an hour show that's broadcast live. It's not a B show, though I do book it like one. Mainly, it's to get that sweet, sweet live gate money.
Teh_Showtime
Normal events have greater popularity gains/losses than TV shows since they’re all treated as PPV level. Going that way is definitely better to get someone over.
hbkb9
Be careful with B-show branded events though. Very heavy penalties to your popularity if they aren't up to par.
BrokenCycle
Be careful with B-show branded events though. Very heavy penalties to your popularity if they aren't up to par. This is not true. They don't affect popularity at all.
Jaysin
This is not true. They don't affect popularity at all. He means a secondary brand, like WWECW’s disasterous December to Dismember. Hence using the word “event”, not b show.
